Microorganisms can attach firmly to food contact surface material and the resitance of adherent bacteria differ markedly from planktonic cells. Therefore, adherent cells are a potential contamination problem to the food preparation because of their high resistance. to sanitation and heat treatment. This study was carried out in order to investigate growth and decontamination of Listeria monocytogenes attached to stainless steel, glass and plastic. Listeria monocytogenes cells could attach to all types of surface at three temperatures after contact times for 24 hrs. The numbers of adherent cells were greater at higher temperatures, but not increased with incubation time. When recovery of adherent cells was investigated, after 24 grs, the numbers of adherent cells were about 10$^{7}$ , 10$^{10}$ , 11$^{11}$ at 4$^{\circ}C$, $25^{\circ}C$, 3$0^{\circ}C$ repectively. Planctonic cells decreased by 2 log cycles after exposure to the domestic sanitizer. Adherent cells showed high resistance to domestic sanitizers and that was dependent upon surface materials studied, being greatest on plastic followed by stainless steel and glass. Adherent cells were more resistant to heat treatment than planktonic cells. When adherent cells were exposed to the temperature of 5$0^{\circ}C$, 55$^{\circ}C$, 57.5$^{\circ}C$ for 10 min, their populations did not decrease significantly. When the temprature increased to 6$0^{\circ}C$, cells attached to all types of surfaces were completely inactivated for 10 min.
The study was carried out to examine the distribution and survival rate of Listeria monocytogenes (L monocytogenes) from various source of waters using improved isolation method. In comparision of enrichment media for isolation of L monocytogenes from water, the isolation rate and 50% detection limit of the pathogen were higher in UVM modified Listeria enrichment broth (UVM) than Listeria enrichment broth (LEB). On the other hand, when compared the selective media for isolation of the pathogen from water, the isolation rate was highest in culture at Oxford agar followed by Fraser agar, and LEB agar. In order to improve enrichment method, 100 ml of water samples with 0.1 CFU/ml of L monocytogenes was inoculated into 10 ml of UVM concentrated at 10-fold, and incubated for 24 h at $36^{\circ}C$. Isolated frequency of the pathogens in improved enrichment method completely corresponded with common (filter) method. Of a total mumber of 147 water samples from river, lake and sea, the pathogen was isolated from 1 of 39 (2.6%) river water samples and 1 of 75 (1.3%) sea water samples, but no pathogen was isolated from 33 lake water samples. Serotypes of 2 isolates were identified as type 1. L monocytogenes decreased in number from 7.2-7.4 to 4.2-4.7 log CFU/ml for 1 week poststorage (5 and $20^{\circ}C$), but the pathogens were able to be detected in river and sea water until 8 weeks after storage. However, in tap water, L monocytogenes were decreased to undetectable level after 2 weeks of storage.
Distributed object technologies have become popular in developing distributed systems. Although such middleware platforms as DSOM, DCOM, CORBA and Java RMI ease the development of distributed applications, they do not directly improve the reliability and the availability of these applications. Because the task of developing fault-tolerance techniques for distributed object paradigms is often complicated and error-prone, there is a great need for a development toolkit that enhances the reliability and the availability of distributed objects. In this paper, we propose a fault-tolerant distributed middleware system based on RMI, called IMMORTAL. We use a log-based rollback-recovery mechanism for supporting reliable distributed computing. Through a series of experiments, we observe that benchmark applications on the IMMORTAL tolerate hardware and software failures and evaluate its performance and scalability.

Manganese peroxidase (MnP) was isolated from the culture filtrate of the wood log mushroom Stereum ostrea (S. ostrea), grown on Koroljova medium, and then purified by ammonium sulfate [70% (w/v)] fractionation, DEAE-cellulose anion exchange chromatography, and Sephadex G-100 column chromatography, with an attainment of 88.6-fold purification and the recovery of 22.8% of initial activity. According to SDS-PAGE the molecular mass of the MnP was 40 kDa. The optimal pH and temperature were found to be 4.5 and $35^{\circ}C$, respectively. The enzyme was stable even after exposure to a pH range of 4.5 to 6.0, and at temperatures of up to $35^{\circ}C$ at a pH of 4.5 for 1h. The $K_m$ and $V_{max}$ values for the substrate phenol red were found to be $8{\mu}m$ and 111.14 U/mg of protein, respectively. The MnP also oxidized other substrates such as guaiacol, DMP, and veratryl alcohol. Sodium azide, EDTA, SDS, $Cu^{2+}$, and $Fe^{2+}$, at 1-5 mM, strongly inhibited enzyme activity, whereas $Ca^{2+}$ and $Zn^{2+}$ increased enzyme activity. The participation of the purified enzyme in the decolorization of dyes suggests that S. ostrea manganese peroxidase could be effectively employed in textile industries.

Previous research related to recovering deleted data in database has been mainly based on transaction logs or detecting and recovering data using original source files by physical collection method. However there was a limit to apply if the transaction log does not exist in the server or it is not possible to collect the original source file because a database server owner does not permit stopping the database server because of their business loss or infringement at the scene. Therefore it is necessary to examine various collection methods and check the recoverability of the deleted data in order to handling the constraints of evidence collection situation. In this paper we have checked an experiment that the recoverability of deleted data in the original database source according to logical and physical collection methods on digital forensic investigation of Microsoft SQL Server database.
Storage snapshot technology allows to preserve data at a specific point in time, and recover and access data at a desired point in time. It is an essential technology for storage protection application. Existing snapshot methods have some problems in that they dependent on storage hardware vendor, file system or virtual block device. In this paper, we propose a new snapshot method for solving the problems and creating snapshots on-line. The proposed snapshot method uses a method of extracting the log records of update operations at the virtual file system layer to enable the snapshot method to operate independently on file systems, virtual block devices, and storage hardwares. In addition, the proposed snapshot mehod creates and manages snapshots for directories and files without interruption to the storage service. Finally, through experiments we measure the snapshot creation time and the performance degradation caused by the snapshot.
The outbreak of the Covid 19 increased the interest on the 'Virtual Tourism. In this research the key word related to "Virtual Tourism" was collected through the search engine and was analyzed through the data mining method such as Log-odds ratio, Frequency, and network analysis. It is clear that the information and communication dependency increased in the field of "Virtual Tourism" after Covid 19 and also the trend have changed from "securement of the contents diversity" to "project related to economic recovery." Since the demands for the "Virtual Reality" such as metaverse is increasing, there should be an economic and circular structure in which the government establishing a related policy and the funding plan based on the research, local government and the private companies planning and producing discriminate contents focusing on AISAS(Attension, Interest, Search, Action, Share) aand the research institutions and universities developing, applying, assessing and commercializing the technology.

Recently, crimes using drones, one of the IoT industries have been continuously reported. In particular, drones are characterized by easy access and free movement, so they are used for various crimes such as transporting explosives, transporting drugs, and illegal recording. In order to analyze and investigate these criminal acts, drone forensic research is highly emphasized. Media data, PII, and flight records are digital forensic artifacts that can be acquired from drones, in particluar flight records are important artifacts since they can be used to trace drone activities. Therefore, in this paper, the characteristics of the deleted flight record files of DJI drones are presented and verified using the Phantom3, Phantom4 andMini2 models, two drones with differences in characteristics. Additionally, the recovery level is analyzed using the flight record file characteristics, and lastly, drones with the capacity to recover flight records for each drone model and drone models without it are classified.
Background: Growing evidence suggests that beta-hydroxy-beta-methylbutyrate (HMB), arginine (Arg), and glutamine (Gln) positively affect wound recovery. This study investigated the effects of long-term administration of HMB/Arg/Gln on pressure ulcer (PU) healing in sedentary older adults admitted to geriatric and rehabilitation care facilities. Methods: This was a pilot retrospective case (standard of care and HMB/Arg/Gln)-control (standard of care alone) clinical study. Outcome measures were relative healing rates and Pressure Ulcer Scale for Healing (PUSH) scores (calculated after 4, 8, 12, 16, and 20 weeks) and time to healing. Results: The study subpopulation was comprised of 14 participants (four males, 28.6%) with the median age of 85.5 years (interquartile range [IQR], 82.0-90.2 years). The control subpopulation was comprised of 31 participants (18 males, 58.1%) with the median age of 84.0 years (IQR, 78.0-90.0 years). At the beginning of follow-up, there were no statistically significant demographic (sex and age) and clinical (main diagnosis, baseline area, and PU perimeter) differences between the groups. During the study period, there were no significant differences in the relative healing rates and PUSH scores between the subpopulations. The median time to complete healing in the study and control populations was 170.0 days (95% confidence interval [CI], 85.7-254.3) and 218.0 days (95% CI, 149.2- 286.7) (log-rank, chi-square=3.99; p<0.046), respectively. Conclusion: More than 20 weeks of HMB/Arg/Gln supplementation had a positive effect on difficult PU healing in older adults with multiple comorbidities.

Objectives:Sleep loss and excessive daytime sleepiness may have serious consequences, including traffic and industrial accidents, decreased productivity, learning disabilities and interpersonal problems. Yet despite these adverse effects, there are few epidemiological studies on sleep loss and daytime sleepiness in the general population of Korea. This study investigates the number of people who suffer from sleep insufficiency, how much recovery sleep occurs on weekends, and the relationship between the amount of recovery sleep and daytime sleepiness. Methods:A total 164 volunteers, aged 20 and over, were recruited by advertisement. The subjects were workers and college students living in Seoul, Korea. Subjects were excluded if they were aged over 60;if they had medical, neurological, psychiatric or sleep disorders that could cause insomnia or daytime sleepiness;if they were not following a regular sleep schedule;if they traveled abroad during the study;or if they did not leave home to work or were shift workers. They were interviewed and given a sleep log to complete on each of 14 consecutive mornings. They also completed the Epworth Sleepiness Scale (ESS) at noontime on the last day of the second week. All statistical data were analyzed by t-test, $X^2$-test or ANOVA, using SPSS/PC+. Results:The results showed that the subjects woke up at 6:50 (${\pm}1$:16) on weekdays, 7:09 (${\pm}1$:29) on Saturdays, and 8:12 (${\pm}1$:39) on Sundays and holidays. They took more frequent and longer naps on Sundays than on weekdays and Saturdays. The mean sleep duration was 6h 35 min. on week nights, with a mean increase of about 1h on weekends. Only 9.1% of the subjects spent more than 8h in bed on week nights, with 67% spending less than 7h, and 49.4% reported recovery sleep of more than 1h on Sundays. The subjects who reported recovery sleep of more than 2h on Sundays, showed significantly more excessive daytime sleepiness than those who reported less than 30 min (F=2.62, p<.05). Conclusions:These findings suggest that sleep insufficiency and excessive daytime sleepiness are relatively common in Korea, and that the people who get insufficient sleep on weekdays try to compensate for sleep loss with oversleeping and daytime napping on Sundays and holidays. It appeared that daily sleep insufficiency had a cumulative effect and increased daytime sleepiness.
