Purpose: In this study we propose a block-iterative method for reconstructing Compton scattered data. This study shows that the well-known expectation maximization (EM) approach along with its accelerated version based on the ordered subsets principle can be applied to the problem of image reconstruction for Compton camera. This study also compares several methods of constructing subsets for optimal performance of our algorithms. Materials and Methods: Three reconstruction algorithms were implemented; simple backprojection (SBP), EM, and ordered subset EM (OSEM). For OSEM, the projection data were grouped into subsets in a predefined order. Three different schemes for choosing nonoverlapping subsets were considered; scatter angle-based subsets, detector position-based subsets, and both scatter angle- and detector position-based subsets. EM and OSEM with 16 subsets were performed with 64 and 4 iterations, respectively. The performance of each algorithm was evaluated in terms of computation time and normalized mean-squared error. Results: Both EM and OSEM clearly outperformed SBP in all aspects of accuracy. The OSEM with 16 subsets and 4 iterations, which is equivalent to the standard EM with 64 iterations, was approximately 14 times faster in computation time than the standard EM. In OSEM, all of the three schemes for choosing subsets yielded similar results in computation time as well as normalized mean-squared error. Conclusion: Our results show that the OSEM algorithm, which have proven useful in emission tomography, can also be applied to the problem of image reconstruction for Compton camera. With properly chosen subset construction methods and moderate numbers of subsets, our OSEM algorithm significantly improves the computational efficiency while keeping the original quality of the standard EM reconstruction. The OSEM algorithm with scatter angle- and detector position-based subsets is most available.

From 10 years ago, the development of nano-devices endeavored to achieve reconstruction of information technology (IT) and nano technology (NT) industry. Among the many materials for the IT and NT industry, zinc oxide (ZnO) is a very promising candidate material for the research of nano-device development. Nano-structures of ZnO-based materials were grown easily via various methods and it attracts huge attention because of their superior electrical and optical properties for optoelectronic devices. Recently, among the various growth methods, MOCVD has attracted considerable attention because it is suitable process with benefits such as large area growth, vertical alignment, and accurate doping for nano-device fabrication. However, ZnO based nanowires grown by MOCVD process were had the principal problems of 1st interfacial layers between substrate and nanowire, 2nd a broad diameter (about 100 nm), and 3rd high density, and 4th critical evaporation temperature of Zinc precursors. In particular, the growth of high performance nanowire for high efficiency nano-devices must be formed at high temperature growth, but zinc precursors were evaporated at high temperature. These problems should be repaired for materialization of ultra high performance quantum devices with quantum effect. For this reason, we firstly proposed the growth method of vertical aligned slim MgZnO nanowires (< 10 nm) without interfacial layers using self-phase separation by introduced Mg at critical evaporation temperature of Zinc precursors ($500^{\circ}C$). Here, the self-phase separation was reported that MgO-rich and the ZnO-rich phases were spontaneously formed by additionally introduced Mg precursors. In the growth of nanowires, the nanowires were only grown on the wurzite single crystal seeds as ZnO-rich phases with relatively low Mg composition (~36 at %). In this study, we investigated the microstructural behaviors of self-phase separation with increasing the Mg fluxes in the growth of MZO NWs, in order to secure drastic control engineering of density, diameter, and shape of nanowires.

This study empirically analyzes the recent conversion trend of Jeonsei to monthly rental contracts in the APT rental market and its major characteristics for three Gangnam districts using the real transaction Jeonsei and monthly rent prices data over the period of 2010.12 to 2015.4. The results show that in terms of deposits and substitutability the conventional apartment is more efficient than those of the reconstruction apartment. Moreover, monthly rental contracts are closely related with the movement of short-term interest rates. Given the same type of apartment, the result drawn from the substitutability between Jeonsei and monthly rental contracts reveals that the monthly leasing contract with the lower rate of deposit tends to have the higher conversion rate of Jeonsei to monthly rent. Thus, an urgent measure should be taken that the burdens of tenants with monthly rent contracts could be alleviated according to the rate of deposits.

This study developed a band-pass filter based artificial filter bank(BAFB) based on that in order to efficiently obtain the significant dynamic responses. The BAFB was then optimized about the El-centro earthquake wave which was often used in the construction research, and the software implementation of BAFB was finally embedded in the wireless unified management system(WiUMS). For the evaluation of the developed BAFB, a real time dynamic response experiment was performed on a cable-stayed bridge model, and the response of the cable-stayed bridge model was measured using both the traditional wired system and the developed BAFB-based WiUMS. The experiment results showed that the compressed dynamic response acquired by the BAFB-based WiUMS matched significantly with that of the traditional wired system while still carrying sufficient modal information of the cable-stayed bridge. Finally, the developed BAFB was able to reconstruct or re-sample the dynamic response wholly from the compressed response signal, and it can be applied as a new kind of measurement system for a wireless sensor networks based structural health monitoring system that secures both economy and efficiency.

For large DNA fragment transformation in dicots and monocots, BIBAC2 vector system was applied to Arabidopsis thaliana and Oryza sativa L. cv. Jinmi as a model plant, respectively. For Arabidopsis, the Th1 gene in T23L3 BAC clone whose size is about 90 kb was used as the target gene source for transformation. Because T23L3 BAC clone was originally constructed in pBelloBAC11, the target gene was reconstructed into BIBAC2. As the results of reconstruction, 476 colonies were survived in selection medium containing 40 mg/L kanamycin. In colony hybridization analysis, 24 out of 476 colonies exhibited positive signals. In the pulsed-field gel electrophoresis analysis, 11 out of 24 positive clones exhibited the band at the location of 90 kb. In Southern hybridization, positive signal band at the location of 90 kb was observed in all 11 transformants. Using these verified clones, Agrobacterium-mediated transformation was applied to Arabidopsis thaliana th1-201 mutant for genetic complementation test. Twelve thousands T$_1$ seeds were harvested, and antibiotic selection test is being analyzed to verify whether these seeds were transformed. for rice, COR356 that contains 150 kb human genomic DNA in a BIBAC2 vector was used as the target gene. As the results of transformation, 151 out of 210 co-cultivated calli were survived in selection medium containing 5 mg/L hygromycin, and 45 out of 151 survived calli were regenerated into plants. Transformation efficiency was 21.6%. Progeny test using 71 seeds is being analyzed now. These results provide the potential that large DNA fragments can be transferred into both dicots and monocot by Agrobacterium-mediate d transformation system.
TFT-LCD panel images have non-uniform brightness, noise signal and defect signal. It is hard to divide defect signal because of non-uniform brightness and noise signal, so various divide methods have being developed. In this paper, we suggest method to divide defective regions on TFT-LCD panel image by estimating a menas of two different size of windows, which is suggested by Eikvil et al., and using difference of them. But in this method, the size of detectable defects is restricted by the size of window, hence it has inefficient problem that the size of window have to increase to divide a large defect region. To solve this problem we suggest an algorithm which can divide various size of defects, by using Multi-scale and restrict a detectable size of defects in each scale. To prove an efficiency of suggested algorithm, we show that resulting images of real TFT-LCD panel images and an artificial image with various defects.
When we use R-Tree,a spatial index, to find objects matches some predicate, it often leads to an incorrect result of perform filtering step only with MBR. And , each candidates need to be inspected to conform if it really satisfies with given query, so called, 'refinement step'. In refinement step. we should perform disk I/O and expansive spatial operations which is the cause of increasing retrieval costs. Therefore, to minimize the number of candidate after filtering step, two-phase filtering methods were studied, but there was many problems such as inefficiency of filtering, maintenance of additional informations and reconstruction of data resulted from the loss of original information. So , in this paper, I propose an Extended R-Tree which provides ability to retrieve spatial objects only with some simple logical operations using Grid Table, truth table strong the information about the existence of spatial objects, in second filtering step. Consequently , this Extended R-Tree using Grid Filter has low cost of operation for filtering because of efficient second filtering step, and better filtering efficiency caused by high quality of approximation.
This paper is to propose an encryption method for only an allowed user to see the content for a digital hologram, that is a high value-added content. This paper uses a characteristic of Fresnel transform that the object region is concentrated to a relatively small part of the diffraction plane. By encrypting the concentrated part only the region to be encrypted and in turn the amount of data to be encrypted is reduced a lot, which results in an high efficiency with low encryption rate. As the methodology, a digital hologram is first Fresnel transformed for reconstruction and the result is secondly Fresnel transformed to concentrate the energy into the center of the diffraction plane to encrypt the concentrated region only. For the 2nd transform, energy concentration degree is determined by adjusting the diffraction distance and encryption strength is determined by adjusting the scaling factor. For this we analyze the optimal encryption area according to the diffraction distance and the scaling factor. When applying the proposed method with diffraction distance of 20m the object information was visually unrecognizable with the encryption ratio only 0.005% ~ 0.02%.
B+-Tree is the most popular indexing method in DBMS to manage large size data in more efficiency. However the existing B+-Tree has shortcomings in there is overhead on DISK/IO when the first time of constructing DB or of making Index, and it lessens the concurrency if there are frequent delete operations so that the index structure also should be changed frequently. To solve these problems almost DBMS is using batch construction method and lazy deletion method. But to apply B+-Tree, which is using batch construction method and lazy deletion method, into DBMS the technique for controlling and recovering concurrency is necessary, but its researching is still unsatisfactory so that there is a problem on applying it into actual systems. On this paper I suggest the technique for controlling and recovering concurrency how to implement the batch construction method and the lazy deletion method in actual DBMS. Through the suggested technique there is no cascade rollback by using Pending list, it enhances the concurrency by enabling insertion and deletion for base table on every reconstruction, and it shortens transaction response time for user by using system queue which makes the batch constructing operation is processed not in user's transaction level but in system transaction level.

In recent years, there has been more reconstruction and redevelopment of apartments rather than efforts to consider alternative to extend the life time oh the apartments. It is essential to try to develop ways to adequately maintain and to use the apartment facilities efficiently in order to preserve earth environment and the limited resource. However, lacking research on the effects obtained through remodelling and maintenance have interfered with the vitalizing of the market. The objective of this study is to propose criterions and methods with which to evaluate adequacy of developing method. A survey was performed to investigate important evaluating methods in order to obtain advices that can smoothly progress improve apartment developing method. This study applied AHP(Analytical Hierarchy Process) methods for reasonable dependancy of developing in apartment. Through this study, the flow of apartment market is elevated to reaching the level in advanced nation.
