광주·전남지역 치위생과 학생의 대학생활 만족도 조사 (A Study on the College Life Satisfaction of Students Studying Dental Hygiene Residing in Gwangju and Jeonnam)

  • The purpose of this study was to prepare a student and education guideline by examining the college life satisfaction of students studying dental hygiene. Subjects were students going to dental hygiene-related department of three colleges in the Gwangju and Jeonnam areas. College life and life satisfaction was examined at general characteristics. The following results were obtained. 1. Subjects included 35.7% of 1st grade, 33.4% of 2nd grade, and 30.9% of 3rd grade. In the health state, average accounted for the highest percent(76.9%); in the student's associates, a little for the highest percent(76.8%); and in the participation in clubs, no participation for the highest percent(77.1%). 2. For motives to select the dental hygiene, good employment after graduation accounted for the highest percent(61.0%). The highest desired employer was a dental clinic(33.5%), and the highest desired duration was a whole life(61.0%). 3. According to the grade, satisfaction was significantly different in social recognition, major in education, professor, facilities, professor-student, career, and college development(pE0.05). 4. According to the school record, satisfaction was significantly different in social recognition, major in education, professor, professor-student, career, college development, and general life(pE0.01). 5. According to the student's associates, satisfaction was significantly different in social recognition, major in education, professor-student, and general life(pE0.01). 6. According to the participation in clubs, satisfaction was significantly different in professor, facilities, college development, and religious life(pE0.05). In conclusion, as students were in the lower grade, made good school record, had happier associates, and participated in clubs more actively, their satisfaction at college life became higher. Accordingly, professors and school authorities should strive to examine students' actual problem and discuss and resolve them in order to help their effective school life.

고등학교 인문계 수학과 대학 경상계열 전공학문과의 연계성 (A Study on the Relation between Mathematics Learning Contents of High School Liberal Arts Course and Major Fields of College of Business Administration)

  • 본 연구는 고등학교 인문계 수학과 대학 경상계열 전공학문 내용과의 연계성을 알아보기 위하여 M대학교 경영대학 경제학과, 경영학과와 금융보험학과에 재학 중인 대학생과 교수들을 대상으로 고등학교 인문계 수학 학습 내용과 대학 경상계열 전공학문과의 연계성에 대한 인식을 분석하였다. 그 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 첫째, 고등학교 인문계 수학과 대학 경상계열 전공학문의 연계성을 강화하기 위하여 고등학교 학생들이 수학적 개념과 원리에 대해 충분히 이해할 수 있는 수학교육이 이루어져야 한다. 둘째, 경상계열로 진학하고자 하는 인문계 고등학생들에게 수학이 전공학문을 공부하는데 필요한 교과목이라는 인식을 심어줄 필요가 있다.

컴퓨터·정보(공)학 분야 공학교육인증제 운영성과에 대한 교수들의 인식 분석 및 개선방안 연구 (Study on the Analysis of the Recognition and Improvements by Professors for the CAC(Computing Engineering Committee))

  • This study analyzed outcomes of CAC(Computing Accreditation Committee) program individually applied in the field of computing engineering since 2007, and draw improvements. Literature review through academic journals, survey research and the FGI(Focus Group Interview) were used to accomplish objectives of the study. In addition, the survey research and FGI were done for professors. For the survey research, nationally 20 out of 44 universities which operates the CAC program were investigated, and sample universities were considered by region. FGI was done to analyze the performance and problems of CAC in more detail for 6 experts. Results of the study were follows as; first, CAC program was activated through the Seoul Accord activation support business by government. Second, BSM(Basic Science and Math), engineering major and engineering design education have been strengthened compared with before and after of CAC introduction in the computing engineering field. Third, soft skills needed for students in the college of engineering have been organized in the professional general curriculum, and professors aware of improvement of ability of the students for the skills. The degree of satisfaction for the CAC program has been examined as normal level, but improvement of educational system and the overall quality enhancement of computing engineering education were affected by CAC program. Nonetheless of positive results of CAC program, incentive system for certification program graduates, the expansion of the autonomy of the department, reduction in the amount of self-evaluation report, and support of administrative human resources were suggested for taking root successfully of CAC program.

의류관련학과의 어패럴 CAD교육실태에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Educational Situation of Apparel CAD of Clothing Related Department)

  • The purposes of this study were to investigate, analyze, and consider the feature and practical situation of Apparel CAD education and distribution situation of CAD system so that CAD education can be effectively operated and managed in various kinds of relevant schools and universities. 32 colleges and universities that are performing CAD educational system are selected for the study. The author of the study has investigated and obtained the information through questionnaires to 32 professors who are in charge of CAD lectures and 301 students who are receiving CAD education. The result is as follows. 1. It showed that 62.5% of CAD educational systems have been practically introduced after 1995. Regarding the using system, YUKA occupies 46.9%, PAD 21.8%, and GERBER 18.8% and these three kinds of system have been chiefly supplied. 40.6% of them own only one system, 37.5% of them own 2~5 systems and 78% of them own less than 5 systems. 2. The most seriously pointed problems during the operation of CAD system were the lack of experimental materials and the frustration of manpower supply. Thus, the CAD education programs in schools and universities are practiced in inferior environments internally and externally. 3. Regarding the practical situation of CAD education, 28 among 32 schools and universities are performing CAD as one of the regular subjects for the curriculum. 4. Regarding satisfaction degree of the using system, professors showed higher satisfaction degree than students did. In conclusion, it showed that although the practical situations of CAD education in schools and universities have been changed and improved so much since 1995 owing to the increase of the positive recognition of the necessity of CAD, many students in the educational sites cannot study their favorite subjects related with CAD program with interest due to the lack of experimental facilities, the poor computer management systems, and the problems of manpower supply, etc.

실무형 공학교육에 대한 공학교육 당사자들의 인식 조사 결과 분석 - 홍익대학교 과학기술대학을 중심으로 - (Analysis on the Recognition of the Engineering Education Participators for Practical Engineering Education - College of Science and Technology, Hongik University -)

  • 본 논문은 지방에 소재하고 있는 공과대학에서 교수, 재학생 및 졸업생 등 공학교육 당사자들의 실무형 공학교육에 대한 인식을 조사한 결과를 분석한 것이다. 여러 대학들을 조사하여 실무형 공학교육을 각각 기업 맞춤형, 전공 강화형, 기본소양 강화형 및 기타 등 4가지 형태로 분류하였고 이들에 대한 공학 교육 당사자들의 인식도를 조사한 것이다. 그리고 취업을 위해 어떤 교육 내용이 필요한가에 대해서도 조사하였다. 조사 결과 응답자들은 실무형 공학교육을 기업 맞춤형 교육으로 가장 많이 이해하고 있었고 실무 적응을 위한 기본소양 강화 교육으로 인식하는 응답자도 상당수가 있었다. 신입사원 채용 시험에 교수와 졸업생은 인성, 품성 등이 가장 중요하다고 답한 반면 재학생은 전공 실력과 영어에 큰 비중을 두고 있었다. 이공계 학생으로 가장 부족하다고 느끼는 점은 졸업생과 재학생 모두 영어 능력을 들었으나 교수는 전공 실력 부족이라고 응답했다. 본 연구는 실무형 공학교육에 대한 인식과 이를 위한 공학교육의 발전 방향을 유추할 수 있는 기초 자료를 추출했다고 판단되나 실무형 공학교육에 대해 좀 더 세밀하고 광범위한 연구가 계속되어야 할 것으로 보인다.

논문의 주저자 결정에 미치는 영향 (Effect of The First Authors Determine to Paper)

  • 본 연구는 2010년 9월부터 2010년 12월까지 치위생학 교육자 171명을 대상으로 연구윤리의 내용 중 저자순서 및 저자범위 결정에 대한 인식과 경험을 조사하고 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1. 본인연구의 저자 결정자가 누구냐는 질문에 55.6%의 과반수 이상이 '지도교수'라고 응답했으며, 저자결정의 경험도에서 내 연구에 참여하지 않았음에도 다른 사람을 공저자로 등재시킨 경험이 있느냐는 질문에 68.4%가 '그렇다'라고 가장 높게 응답했다. 2. 저자의 범위 및 순서결정 인식의 4점 척도 조사결과, '결과해석이나 중요한 정보를 기여한 사람이 제 1저자가 되는 것은 아니다' $2.81{\pm}.485$로 가장 높게 나타났으며, '초벌 번역을 한 사람에게는 공동저자의 자격이 있다'에 대해서는 $2.60{\pm}.538$로 가장 낮게 조사 되었다. 3. 인구사회학적 특성과 저자자격 인식의 연관성 중 통계적으로 가장 유의하게 나온 항목은 주저자로서의 논문편수였으며, 이 중 주저자로서의 9-14편의 논문을 갖고 있는 응답자에서 '데이터를 모으고 기록하며 문헌을 살피는 일을 도운 학생은 저자자격이 있다'와 '초벌 번역을 한 사람에게는 공동저자의 자격이 있다' 에서 각각 $2.89{\pm}.315$, $2.79{\pm}.419$로 가장 높게 조사돼 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다(p<0.05). 4. 저자자격 인식간의 관련 변인간의 상관관계를 분석한 결과, 모두 정의 상관관계로 나타났으며, 이 중 '데이터를 모으고 기록하며 문헌을 살피는 일을 도운 학생도 저자자격이 있다'와 '초벌번역을 한 사람에게는 공동저자의 자격이 있다'가 가장 높은 상관관계(r=.433)로 조사돼 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다(p<0.01). 결론적으로 연구자간의 갈등을 줄이기 위해서는 저자결정에 대한 기준을 설정하고 이를 교육하는 것이 시급할 것으로 사료된다. 또한 그 과정에서 당사자들의 논의가 중요하고 이러한 논의와 합의 과정을 통해 연구자간의 갈등이 생기지 않도록 하는 것이 최선의 방법이라고 판단된다.

대학(大學) 건축학과(建築學科) 재학생(在學生)의 CAD 환경(環境) 및 인식(認識)에 관한 연구(硏究) - 사례대학의 재학생을 대상으로 - (A Study on Environment and Perception of CAD by Undergraduate Students in the Dept. of Architecture - Case study on Undergraduate Students -)

  • This study conducts a questionnaire with undergraduate students in the Dept. of Architecture who will lead the architectural field in future, examines environment and perception of CAD in their home and universities and aims at supplying the data required for setting CAD educational index and building its use environment, and it could obtain the following results. Individual CAD environment of undergraduate students in the Dept. of Architecture reach a considerable level in hardware part, but they don't have the same level in software part as the hardware and use illegal copy programs. It is shown that they spend their time in using CAD for five to eight hours a week and its main purposes are to perform a project related to architectural design or make report requiring drawing. Major places using CAD are CAD room in university or public PC room equipped with CAD compared to their own houses and most of them have a negative recognition of the convenience of its use. Their satisfaction with CAD use is considerably high and when they submitted their assignments of architectural design project by means of CAD, they had a positive evaluation from their professors and they have such hopes that 'Korean Support Strengthening', 'lowering price through version supply for students' and 'diversification of design symbol' in CAD S/W, and especially, most of respondents have an intention to purchase the original goods when version only for students will be marketed in future. Accordingly, for a qualitative improvement of CAD environment for undergraduate students in the Dept. of Architecture, universities must be equipped with the various types of CAD S/W and Applications and students' opportunity to access them should be increased. In addition, a method which can enhance using convenience of CAD room and PC room is required and CAD related S/W developers must market the version for students which consider the reality of undergraduates in Korea properly with an appropriate price level in order to settle a sound S/W culture.

치위생과 학생의 진로결정 자기 효능감과 전공만족 관계 연구 (A Study on Self-efficacy of Course Decision and Major Field Satisfaction in Dental Hygiene Students)

  • Purpose. This study was purposed to seek for a way to enhance the self-efficacy of students in dental hygiene department at deciding their careers by analyzing the relationship between the self-efficacy and the major satisfaction. Methods. The investigator conducted a survey targeting 253 students attending on dental hygiene departments in two 3-year-graduate colleges and 1 university located in Busan from May 1st to May 30th, 2013. The used research instruments were the major satisfaction questionnaire and the Career Decision-Making Self-Efficacy Scale Short Form(CDMSES-SF). The survey was conducted in self-administered questionnaire. The data was analyzed with SPSS (ver 12.0) and also conducted t-test, ANOVA and multi-regression analysis. Results. It was found that self-efficacy level of students in dental hygiene department was $3.22{\pm}0.38$ point, and their major satisfaction level was $3.27{\pm}0.47$ point. The factors enhancing the self-efficacy of students in dental hygiene department at deciding their careers were identified as the curriculum satisfaction, the relationship satisfaction, and the recognition satisfaction. It was identified that more these elements were increased, the higher the self-efficacy level was enhanced. Conclusions. In order to enhance the self-efficacy of students in dental hygiene department at deciding their careers, it is considered that the curriculum should be organized carefully under reasonable plan, and there should be more active communication between professors and students as well as students each other. Besides there needs some educational programs to inspire the pride and sense of duty for the dental hygiene department.

전문대학(專門大學)의 방사선과(放射線科) 교육(敎育)에 관(關)한 조사연구(調査硏究) (Investigation on Education of Radiological Technology in Junior College)

  • The result of this study from surveying and analyzing the present situation of educational institutes of radiologic technology, educational situation of radiologic technology, and students' attitude and recognition about the education of radiologic technology, the faculty's thought of it throughout the country from October, 1981 to April, 1982 is as follows: 1. The total number of educational institutes for radiologic technology is 11, but all of them are private colleges classified by foundation and 1,414 freshmen were admitted to enter the colleges by admission quotas of students at present in March, 1982. 2. The number of male(1965-1982) is 3,046(78.0%), that of female is 856(22.0%), and total of them is 3,904 that graduated from the departments of radiologic technology in 9 junior colleges in Korea. 3. The number of the instructional staffs in radiologic technology in Korea is 32, but among them 1 professor, 1 associate professor, 16 assistant professors and 14 full-time instructors. 4. The credits for graduation are 80-96 credits and students need required liberal arts and required major studies to get the qualification for graduation. 5. In the national examination for radio-technologist license, total 7,150 persons took the examination, but only 2,796 persons passed it, therefore, the average passed rate is 39.1% from the year 1965 to 1982. 6. 61.3% of students expressed dissatisfaction about their campus lives, the reason of which is mainly poor educational facilities(26.7%), insufficient number of faculty(21.2%) and negative Recognition on junior college from society, etc. 7. About the education of their major studies of colleges, 70.9% of students answered that they were short of laboratory works and clinical trainings rather than theoretical lessons. 8. The chief problem in practice works is about facilities and equipemtns for practice (students 39.1%, faculty 68.8%), and about the fact that too many students usually work at a time(students 17.1%, faculty 21.9%), etc. 9. 87.4% of students and 93.8% of faculty answered that clinical training in school is necessary. 10. Students' viewpoints on the radiologic technologist and the attitudes on the profession as a radiologic technologist are approximately affirmative. 11. Fields of employment to advance after graduation are mainly the fields related to their major studies(hospital, clinic, health clinic, industrial companies related and military officers of medical technology, etc.), which fields arc predominant to 74.5% rather than non-related fields(enrols into 4 year colleges, etc.). 12. 85.2% of students, 87.5% of the faculty expressed their opinions that the present academic years of 2 should be lengthened more. 13. 90.7% of the faculty expressed their opinions that the present students quotas should be reduced in whole or in part.

작업치료(학)과 대학생의 융합교육에 대한 인식 및 요구도 조사 (Recognition and Need of Convergence Education for Occupational Therapy Students)

  • 본 연구는 작업치료(학)과 대학생들이 인지하는 융합교육에 대한 인식 및 경험, 필요성과 요구를 확인하고자 하는 조사연구이다. 그리하여 작업치료(학)과 교육과정 내 융합 교과목 및 비정규 프로그램 개발시 기초자료로 제공하고자 한다. 2020년 12월 03일부터 한 달 간 4개 영역, 14개 문항으로 구성된 웹 설문지를 배포하였고, 최종적으로 130명의 자료를 분석하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 작업치료(학)과 재학생들의 융합교육에 대한 인식과 경험은 낮은 편이다. 둘째, 57.7%의 응답자가 작업치료학 전공에서 융합교육이 필요하다고 인식하고 있었으며, 융합교육을 통해 '작업치료 직무관련 지식 향상'을 기대했다. 셋째, 학문분야로는 '자연 과학', 교과목으로는 '보조기의지학 및 보조공학, 일상생활활동', 작업치료사의 직무로는 '일상생활 동작훈련'에 융합교육 요구가 높은 것으로 확인되었다. 본 연구결과는 향후 작업치료(학)과 교육과정 개발 및 융합교육을 위한 비정규 프로그램 개발 시 기초 자료로 활용할 수 있다. 앞으로 작업치료학 교육과정에서도 4차 산업혁명을 대비한 융합교육과 프로그램 개발에 대한 요구가 증가될 것이라 생각한다. 본 연구의 자료가 대학에서 작업치료학 교육을 담당하는 교수자들에게 의미 있게 활용되기를 기대한다.
