Purpose: The purpose of this study was to compare Quality of life (QOL) in type and time after Hematopoietic stem cell tansplantation (HSCT) for patients with hematologic cancer. Method: This study was cross-sectional. The autologous recipients was 120, the allogeneic recipients was 237. The obtained data were analyzed using T-test, One-way ANOVA, Scheffe's test. Results: No significant differences were total QOL between the autologous and allogeneic recipients. But the autologous recipients reported better status than the allogeneic recipients in physical domain, especially 1-3 yr after HSCT. There was poorer QOL of 1-3 yr compared to 1 yr after HSCT in physical, psychological and social domain between the two groups. QOL in time after HSCT of the autologous recipients was significance differences in psychological, social domain. And QOL in time after HSCT of the allogeneic recipients was significant differences in physical, psychological and social domain. Conclusions: QOL of recipients undergoing HSCT is recovered beyond 3 yr point. Accordingly, long term care and service is essential to recipients undergoing HSCT. And further studies with a longitudinal design are necessary.
The purpose of this study is to compare and examine the understanding of the mutual relationship between the welfare attitude of the recipients and the non-recipients of the National Basic Livelihood Security. For this purpose, data from the Korea Welfare Panel Study 2016 (11th) were used and the data were analyzed by using difference analysis (DID) and structural equation AMOS after matching propensity scores (PSM) to 382 adults. The main results are as follows: First, Welfare attitudes were not significantly different for the National Basic Livelihood Security than the non- recipients. Second, Positive program welfare policy had a significant effect on welfare attitude for both the recipients and non-recipients of the National Basic Livelihood Security. Third, The value recognition government trust and social awareness did not have a significant effect on both the recipients of the National Basic Livelihood Security and the non-recipients. The results of this study provide basic data the establishment of policy directions to improve the quality of life of members of society.
The purposes of this study were to: (a) investigate the characteristics of recipients' of the non-government foodbank program, (b) examine the health and dietary related conditions of them, and (c) evaluate the benefits and effectiveness of the foodbank program from the recipients' perspective. A total of 21 groups (n = 755) and 75 individual recipients participated in the survey. The main results of the study were as follows; (a) Generally, the individual recipients were 74-year-old female, livelihood protectee, and those who received government assistance or funds from private donators as their source of livelihood. (b) The ages of group recipients varied widely, and they also received government assistance or funds from private donators as their source of livelihood. (c) Most of the donated foods were bakery and confectionery Items. rice, and milk and other dairy products. (d) Benefits such as the decrease in the recipients' food expenses and an enhancement of their nutritional statuses were identified. (Korean J Community Nutrition 8(2) : 231∼239, 2003)

This study investigates how the job satisfaction of the recipients with working ability is transformed into employment under the recent trends. The objects of this research are 15-19 years old. I used the data of YP2007. This survey were analyzed F-test by using SPSS PC win 12.0. This result maintain the importance about the policy of the recipients with working ability : (1) its bridging gaps between theory and reality, (2) focus on the Job satisfaction of the recipients with working ability, (3) developing new recipients with working ability education program, (4) elaborating the study methods. In this paper I describe one line of research focused on the job satisfaction of the recipients with working ability in view of their professional life as it is currently developed and expressed. This study also requires further studies and this study will be supplemented.
Recipients are an integral part of embryo transfer and they are expensive to maintain as a good recipient. Recipient management is one of the most important components in a successful embryo transfer program. Management includes selection and subsequent care of the animals. A good recipient is basically on "open" cows or heffers whose reproductive tract is capable of receiving one or two embryos and incubating it to term. Potential recipients should be always be healthy and cycling normally ranging from 18 to 23 days. A thorough veterinary examination is recommended for candidate of recipients and cattle for questionable health should be eliminated from the recipient herd. Age and size of recipients are particularly important considerations when heifers are used, because of most embryos available for transfer are from large dams and sires. Body condition can influence a recipient's production, reproduction and health. Obese and underconditioned cattle should be avoided for use. Transfer of fresh embryos especially requires precise synchronization of donors and recipients. For estrus synchronization, PGF$_2$$\alpha$ is injected twice 10 to 12 days apart and short4erm progestagen treatment is applied to potential recipient cattle by coil into vagina (PRID) or ear implant (Synchro-Mate-B). The highest pregnancy results are achieved in recipients at exact synchrony with donors or 12 to 24 hr earlier than donors. Estrus detection is a major factor in breeding efficiency. High accuracy can be achieved by use of heat mount detection alds or by obserbing cattle for 30-minute peroids 3 times daily. Assay progesterone in milk can be used to discrIminate between pregnant and nonprenant recipients. Rectal palpation on day 35 to 70 after is an accurate and safe method of pregnancy diagnosis. Embryonic mortality in recipients may be associated with factors such as high environmental temperature and nutritional or lactational stress in early lactation period. Achievement of short calving interval requires concentrated management activity during the first 90 days following calving. Acceptable candidate for a recipient should be routinely vaccinated for infectious diseases. Proper nutritional programs according to NRC requirements and body condition scoring system for recipient cattles are vital to the ultimate success of an embryo transfer program.r program.
This study was performed to investigate the effects of stage and quality of embryo, synchrony between donor and recipient and difficulty of transfer on pregnancy rate following non-surgical transfer of frozen-thawed bovine embryos. The results were as follows; 1. The overall pregnancy rate of this experiment was 63.4% and that of heifers(73.1%) was higher than that of cows(46.7%). 2. The pregnancy rates of recipients transferred with morulae, early blastocysts and blastocysts were 50.0%, 64.7% and 71. 4%, respectively. 3. The pregnancy rate of recipients transferred with good embryos(67.9%) was higher than that of recipients transferred with fair embryos(53.8%). 4. The pregnancy rates of embryos transferred to left and right uterine horn were 63.2% and 63.6%, respectively. 5. The pregnancy rate of recipients in estrous synchrony 0(76.2%) was higher than those of recipients in synchrony -1(55.6%) and +1(44.4%). 6. The pregnancy rate of recipients transferred with 2 embryos (71. 4%) was higher than that of recipients transferred with 1 embryo(61.8%). 7. The pregnancy rate of embryos transferred to uterine tip (72.0%) was higher than that of embryos transferred to uterine base(50.0%). 8. Ease of transfer was ranked to a scale of one to three on the basis of increasing difficulty. Transfers ranked as ease score 1 accounted for 77.8% of pregnancies and had higher pregnancy rate than ease score 2(66.7%) or 3(45.5%). 9. The pregnancy rate of recipients with excellent corpus luteum(CL) (70.0%) was higher than those of recipients with good CL(61.1%) or fair CL(61.5) %. In reviewing above results, it was considered that the factors such as embryo stage, embryo quality, estrous synchrony, corpus luteum quality, transfer site within uterus, recipient's parity and ease score affected the pregnancy rate after non-surgical transfer of frozen-thawed bovine embryos.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify factors influencing quality of life in kidney transplant recipients and to understand the concrete pathway of influence and the power of each variable, so that integrated prediction model to promote the quality of life of kidney transplant recipients could be developed. Methods: The sample was composed of 218 patients in follow-up care after a kidney transplant in one of 4 university hospitals in the Honam area. A structured questionnaire was used and the collected data were analyzed for fitness, using the LISREL program. Results: This model was concise and extensive in predicting the quality of life of kidney transplant recipients. Conclusion: The research verified the factors influencing quality of life for kidney transplant recipients and it verified that direct factors such as perception of health state, compliance, self-efficacy, stress and indirect factors such as self-efficacy and social support can be important factors to predict the quality of life for recipients. Moreover, those variables represent 87% of variance in explaining quality of life in a prediction model so that the variables can be utilized to predict quality of life for kidney transplant recipients.

Results: elderly welfare recipients was higher than non-elderly welfare recipients in degree of depression on the other hand, in cognitive function is lower. Also, the depression and cognitive function were related with not only socio-demographic characteristics like the age, the degree of education, the presence of spouse or not and the health status but also health behavior characteristics like the sleeping time, the drinking and the exercise. Conclusions: The project of health promotion and programs that can improve the related factors to the depression and cognitive function for elderly welfare recipients should be developed and practiced.
Objectives : This study compared the influencing factors on life satisfaction after retirement between public pension and specific corporate pension recipients. Methods : This study used the fifth year data of 2013 from the raw data of the Korean Retirement and Income Study collected by the National Pension Research Institute. The data analysis in this study was done with the chi-square test, t-test, and linear regression using SPSS ver. 22.0 to verify the relevance between the general characteristics of pension recipients. Results : This study shows that there was a difference in expenditures and health care costs between public pension and special corporate pension recipients. The influencing factors on life satisfaction for public pension recipients were the level of spending, whether there were limitations in daily life and social activity, whether recipients had financial assets and health care costs while for specific corporate pension recipients, they were education level, level of spending and chronic diseases. Conclusions : A health policy that maximizes life satisfaction and takes into account the type of pencion needs to be considered and implemented.
This study was done to examine the relationship between serum chemical values (urea nitrogen, glucose, total protein and cholesterol) of recipients and pregnancy rate following embryo transfer. Blood samples were taken from 184 Holstein heifers or cows on Day 6 or 7 (Day 0=day of estrus) to analysis for serum urea nitrogen, glucose, total protein and cholesterol concentrations. After selection of recipients, frozen Holstein embryos were thawed and directly transferred to recipients non-surgically. The average serum concentrations of urea nitrogen, glucose, total protein and cholesterol were 13.8 mg/dl, 56.5 mg/dl, 7.2 mg/dl, 124.8 mg/dl, respectively. The average concentrations of serum urea nitrogen and cholesterol were lower (P<0.05) in pregnant recipients (10.7 mg/dl, 99.2 mg/dl) than in non-pregnant recipients (13.0 mg/dl, 122.2 mg/dl), respectively, although the concentrations of glucose and total protein were not different. These results show serum urea nitrogen and cholesterol concentrations can be used important factors for selection of recipients in Holstein.
