In order to get more accurate GPS position with the changes of the inner configuration setting of GPS receiver, the authors carried out measurements of the position at known it with one antenna and two GPS receivers manufactured by same company. We have investigated the accuracies of positions according to the change of the maskangle and receiving mode of output data in inner configuration of GPS receivers, and analyzed the relationships between numbers of satellites visibility and maskangles, and values of HDOP and maskangles. When the maskangles in inner configuration were set below 20 degree, the accuracies of positions were high. But if they were became bigger than 25 degree, standard deviations ot position errors and HDOPS of positions were became bigger. Numbers of satellites visibility(y) and maskangles(x) have relations with a formula, y = -0.1662x+9.9225, and values of HDOP(y) and maskangles(x) have relations with a formula, y = 0.6035 $e^{0.0517x}$. The results of position accuracies observed by two GPS receivers to the known position at same time were that average errors of position fixs by GPS receiver configured with NMEA0183 mode were 6.7m and standard deviations were 1.5m, and them by GPS receiver configured with binary mode were 5.0m and standard deviations were 1.1m respectively.

This study is to analyze the accuracy of position determination in cadastral surveying using VRS GNSS(GPS/GLONASS), and is to suggest a possibility to improvement of accuracy in decision making of cadastral surveying result based on this result. As a result of this study, the position accurate of this study, which decides position combining with GPS/GLONASS satellite data is about 3cm more accurate than using only GPS satellite data. Therefore, if GNSS integrated receiving method is to be applied on cadastration, it can be expected to improve to estimate the position accuracy.
Advanced tactile sensors are receiving significant attention in various industries such as extended reality, electronic skin, organic user interfaces, and robotics. The capabilities of advanced tactile sensors require a variety of functions, including position sensing, pressure sensing, and material recognition. Moreover, they should comsume less power and be bio-friendly with human contact. Recently, a tactile sensor based on the triboelectrification effect was developed. Triboelectric tactile sensors have the advantages of wide material availability, simple structure, and low manufacturing cost. Because they generate electricity by contact, they have low power consumption compared to conventional tactile sensors such as capacitive and piezoresistive. Furthermore, they have the ability to recognize the contact material as well as execute position and pressure sensing functions using the triboelectrification effect. The aim of this study is to introduce the progress of research on triboelectrification-based tactile sensors with various functions such as position sensing, pressure sensing and contact material recognition.

The radio wave propagation characteristics of the transmitter and receiver position change in the indoor environment were predicted through simulation, then the results obtained through the transmission loss measurement were compared and analyzed with the simulation results. The conference room was chosen as the environment for measuring transmission loss, and the radio transmission characteristics of the two environments were compared by selecting the exhibition hall without interior decorations and fixtures. In each indoor environment, the position of the transmitter chose two cases. One located in the center of the front wall and the other in the center of the side wall, and the position of the receiver moved along the centerline of the conference room and the side wall, measuring the receiving power. For each change in transmitter-receiver position, received power of 3GHz and 6GHz band were measured and compared with the simulation forecast results. The changes in received power at each receiving point were analyzed according to the location of the transmitter and the frequency band variation.

The new biotelemetry method and system that the installation and the treatment of equipment is convenient and the instantaneously detailed position of the fish attached a pinger is able to track comparatively easily had been developed, an practicality of it were verified in the water tank and the small sea port through the tracking of fish. The biotelemetry method had been gotten the three dimensional locations of fish to the receiving transducer by combining of the super short base line (SSBL) method to detect the direction of pinger and the pinger synchronizing method to measure the range from receiving transducer to pinger. The receiving system had been designed to realize the high precision or wide detection range by application of the basic design method for receiving system of biotelemetry and the hydrophone array configuration. From tracking test of carp in the water tank, the migration course and the velocity of carp was investigated and the observed migration course was compared with measurement. The measured migration course of carp coincided with the observation in the main and the position of carp was able to track three dimensionally. The velocity of carp measured by the moving average method was 11.2cm/s. From tracking test of yellowtail in the small sea port, the migration course and the velocity of yellowtail was investigated at natural condition. The position of yellowtail was able to track three dimensionally and the velocity of it measured by moving average method was 43.9cm/s.
A novel ultra-wideband (UWB) transceiver structure is presented to be used in wireless body area networks (WBANs). In the proposed structure, a data channel and a control channel are combined into a single transmission signal. In the signal, a modulation method mixing pulse position modulation and pulse amplitude modulation is proposed. A mathematical framework calculating the power spectrum density of the proposed pulse-based signal evaluates its coexistence with conventional radio systems. The transceiver structure is discussed, and the receiving performance is investigated in the additive white Gaussian noise channel. It is demonstrated that the proposed scheme is easier to match to the UWB emission mask than conventional UWB systems. The proposed scheme achieves the data rate requirement of WBAN; the logical control channel achieves better receiving performance than the logical data channel, which is useful for controlling and maintaining networks. The proposed scheme is also easy to implement.
This paper presented the design of wireless power transfer (WPT) system using electromagnetic induction techniques and analysed WPT efficiency. Also, we presented the optimum coil condition by measuring the efficiency variation according to some receiving coil parameter changes. Voltage change is measured by receiving coil position for the designed transmitting and receiving circuit. Voltage change according to inductance variation at the same position and charging time are compared at the same environment by using a developed application program to realize an optimum WPT system. Developed wireless power transfer system using electromagnetic induction techniques uses 125 kHz. It takes 16 minutes by using wired charger, and 23 minutes by using wireless charger for charging from 50% to 60% charging status.
An ultrasonic based magnetostrictive position sensor (MPS) provides an indication of real target position. It determines the real target position by multiplying the propagation speed of ultrasonic wave and the time-of-flight between the receiving signals; one is the initial signal by an excitation current and the other is the reflection signal by the ultrasonic wave. The propagation speed of the ultrasonic wave depends on the temperature of the waveguide. Hence, the change of the propagation speed in various environments is a critical factor in terms of the positioning accuracy in the MPS. This means that the influence of the changes in the waveguide temperature needs to be compensated. In this paper, we presents a novel way to improve the positioning accuracy of MPSs using temperature compensation for waveguide. The proposed method used the inherent measurement blind area for the structure of the MPS, which can simultaneously measure the position of the moving target and the temperature of the waveguide without any additional devices. The average positional error was approximately -23.9 mm and -1.9 mm before and after compensation, respectively. It was confirmed that the positioning accuracy was improved by approximately 93%.
This paper introduces a GPS-aided dead reckoning algorithm that asymptotically estimates the heading bias error of a magnetic compass based on geodetic north, improves the position error accumulated by dead reckoning, and helps the estimated position of an AUV to represent a position in the NED coordinate system, by receiving GPS position information when surfaced. Based on the results of a simulation, the locational error was bounded with a modest distance, after estimating the AUV position and heading bias error of the magnetic compass when surfaced. In other words, it was verified that proposed algorithm improves the position error in the NED coordinate system.

In this Paper in order to break with real-time position of signal source which have first dimension motion, the N antenna is arrayed with half-circle, the incident angle of signal source from receiving power pattern to receive at receive antenna is estimated and measured, and the system that measure horizontal moving distance of signal source is designed. Signal source is constructed by 10-20dBm transmitter power which frequency is 10.52GHz of X band, and on horizontally moving the position of signal source. validity of new method is confirmed.
