Objectives: This study was carried out to investigate parent behavioral factors associated with perceived family support of college fresh-woman, in part to find the way of successful college life. Methods: Self-administered questionnaires were given to 256 freshman enrolled in college, between 2weeks may and June 2009. The questionnaire items general characteristics included religion, college entry form(high school graduation/other college expierence), allowance, college life satisfaction, self rated health and family support, parenting behaviors. Parenting behavior consists of affection, reasonable explanation, abuse, excessive interference, supervision, negligence, inconsistencies. The dependent variable is perceived family support, independent variable mother and father behaviors that consisted of above 8 spheres. Results: For the statistical analysis, the t-test was used for the family support and parenting behaviors according to the general characteristics. The influence elicited by the instrument of parenting behavior was determined using multiple regression under the control of general characteristics. The influencing factors are mothers's affection and father's supervision, neglection and affection. Conclusion: Based on the study results, it is important father's behavior to their children especially they are regarded as father's neglect is not support them. We suggest that, for father's behavior strategies should be developed to perceive their family support.

For the study of transport phenomena of an aqueous NaCl solution through a cuprophane membrane, a new apparatus was constructed. The volumc flow rate Q, the permeability coefficient U, and the permeability constant K were measured or determined by using this apparatus. The experimental temperature range was 5 to $35^{\circ}C$, and the applied pressure increments were 10 to 40 psi. By assuming that the cuprophane membrane is composed of n parallel cylindrical capillaries of circular cross-section and that the flow of the solution through the capillaries follows the Poiseulle law, the mean radius r of the capillaries and the number n of the latter in the membrane were evaluated. By using a reasonable assumption concerning the radius ${\eta}'$ of the species diffusing through the membrane, it was concluded that the contribution of the diffusive flow to the total flow rate Q is less than 10%. Thus, the Q was treated as the rate due to the viscous flow, and the viscosity ${\eta}_m$ of the solution in the membrane phase was evaluted, and it was found that ηm is nearly equal to ${\eta}_b$, the bulk viscosity of the solution. From this fact, it was concluded that in the capillaries, no change occurs in the physical state of the NaCl solution. The value of ( = 4.27 kcal/mole) and ${\Delta}Sm^{\neq}$(4.28 eu) were obtained for the viscous flow. A possible explanation was given.
Purpose - This paper investigates the theories and practices of Most-Favored-Nation (MFN) clauses. The MFN clause became a controversial issue during the past two decades, especially in the context of investment arbitration. This paper aims to clarify a reasonable way to apply MFN clauses. It in particular focuses on the territoriality requirements and the scope of investment activity which are common features included in most of investment treaties. Design/methodology - This paper analyses two investment arbitration cases, Ansung Housing and Beijing Urban Construction. Through the case study, this paper reveals limitations of the currently dominant views on the operation of MFN clauses. It then tries to reconstruct the system of MFN application within the relevant arbitration principles. Findings - Tribunals of recent investment arbitration as represented in the two cases above employed strict literal interpretation of the treaty provisions, especially of the phrase "in its territory". This paper finds a more functional interpretation is appropriate and consistent with theories of public international law and developments of global economy. Originality/value - Existing studies either stuck to literal interpretation or suggested more flexible interpretation of the phrase "in its territory" without full explanation. This paper tries to fill the gap in the existing discussion by analyzing legal foundations and theoretical structure for an effective interpretation of MFN clauses.
Objective This study was aimed to research how the recognition of Taeeumin's Mongsul disease was changed from the Gabo edition to the Sinchuk edition of Donguisusebowon, and to present reasonable explanation to the prescription suggested in the Sinchuk edition. Method The original text about Taeeumin Mongsul disease and corresponding prescription in Donguisusebowon Sinchuk edition written in 1901 and Donguisusebowon Gabo edition written in 1894 were compared and analyzed. Furthermore, the literature and articles which are relevant to the prescription and the difference of pathology between the Gabo edition and the Sinchuk edition of Donguisusebowon were searched. Results & Conclusion Sinchuk editon compared to Gabo edition differentiates prescriptions according to the condition of stool, which means that Mongsul disease can occur both in Lung-dryness of Esophagus-Cold pathology and that of Liver-Heat pathology. The prescriptions presented in Sinchuk edition are more specified and in agreement with pathology newly proposed in Sinchuk edition than the prescriptions in Gabo edition. Although Cheongsimyeonja-tang is not mentioned on the original text about Taeeumin Mongsul disease in Sinchuk edition, it can be prescribed for the disease with Lung-dryness of Liver-Heat pathology as Yuldahanso-tang can be. However, Yuldahanso-tang focuses more on Liver-Heat symptoms, while Cheongsimyeonja-tang focuses more on Lung-dryness.
A new construction methodology has been proposed on a scientific basis to reason a rational explanation for the structure and the present configuration of Chum-Sung-Dae. This is because there is no way to otherwise explain the gap between our expectation that the people in Shilla are assumed to be and the problems, such as the use of a temporary supporting structure including falsework, the use of a conveying device for stonework and the practice of soil fill, raised when the construction method in nowadays is applied to the structure. Furthermore, it is because the questions, such as the difference of an azimuth angle between the southward opening and the square podium, the skewed circular plan in layers of the body, misalignment between neighboring layers of the body, disagreement between the inclination due to slight sidesway and the eccentricity in each layer of the circular body, perfectly aligned vertical and horizontal joints and the existence of soil fill, raised from the present configuration of Chum-Sung-Dae, also require a reasonable explanation based on scientific evidences, if any. Therefore, the proposed new construction methodology, in which the soil hill outside as well as the soil fill inside the Chum-Sung-Dae may have been utilized as a temporary scaffolding system for construction, is the highly probable one that the builders of Chum-Sung-Dae might have inevitably employed. The existence of great tombs, scattered in Hwang-Nam-Dong close to Chum-Sung-Dae, implies that the people of Shilla might have accepted the proposed new construction methodology as a natural one.
The purpose of this paper is to search for reasonable and fair principles applicable to the delimitation of the Exclusive Economic Zone(which is called the EEZ, hereinafter) around the Korean Peninsula th-rought the comprehensive study of maritime boundary, which is one of the most important issues in the law of the Sea. So far, the sea has been exploited for activities such as fishery, transport and military stratedy, and en-vironmental policy and so on. From this time on, however, it becomes important to us as the major trea-sure-house of various resources which will be developed and used for diversified purposes. For these rea-sons, nowadays, more and more countries of the world are competing to secure waters as much as possible within their jurisdiction. And the regime of the EEZ was created as a result of this international trend. At last, it has been institutionalized as the 200-mile EEZ of a legal notion in the Convention on the Law of the Sea, which was adopted at the Third United Nations Conference on the Law of the Sea, in Jamaica on December 10, 1982. In adapting to this EEZ institution, Korea is faced with several complicated problems as it is bounded on three sides by the sea and all of its neighboring countries such as the PRC, the DPRK, Japan, Russia etc are less than 400 miles away between opposite countries. Therefore, when trying to delimit the boun-dary for the EEZ, it appears necessary to analyze applicable principles and rules of international law for delimitation mainly through the Convention on the Law of the Sea, and studies the trends of actual State practices and recent international precedents. It is hoped that such knowledge will enable Korea to secure sufficient resources and other sovereign rights without conflicting with the neighboring countries concer-ned. For the achievement of the above mentioned object. I analyzed the necessities of the establishment of the EEZ in Korea, the difficulties and practices of Korea's neighbors, and the changes and forthcoming trends in Korea's relations with its neighbors concerned on the basis of the general explanation of the EEZ regime. In conclusion, it is my opinion that for the establishment of the EEZ delimitation which neighbors around the Korean Peninsula should be applied reasonable and equitable principles considering the rele-vant circumstances which characterize the area definitely as well as the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea, 1982.

The slagging which generated from ash deposition on furnace wall and tube in boiler reduces the heat transfer efficiency and damages to safety of boiler. The slag flow behavior in boiler is affected by melting temperature which is related to ash compositions. In this study, the behavior of slag is researched by using ash fusibility test, called TMA (Thermo-Mechanical Analysis). The technique measures the percentage shrinkage as the function of temperature, T25%, T50%, T75%, T90%. These temperatures indicate different stages of melting. Then, the effect of ash chemical compositions measured from XRF (X-ray Fluorescence Spectrometer) to ash fusion temperatures is discussed. Among the chemical compositions, refractory and fluxing influence on ash fusibility is described. High levels of refractory component and limited amount of fluxing components ($Fe_2O_3$, $K_2O$, CaO) increase overall melting temperatures. High $SiO_2/Al_2O_3$ ratio decrease high melting temperatures (T75%, T90%). Meanwhile, the presence of reasonable levels of fluxing components reduces overall melting temperature. A presence of fluxing component such as $K_2O$ and CaO is found to decrease the T25% values significantly. From this research, it is possible to make a reasonable explanation and prediction of ash fusion characteristic from analysis of TMA results and ash chemical compositions.

In this paper, in order to derive the two-dimensional field effect of n-InAlAs/InGaAs HEMTs, we suggested analytical model by solving the two-dimensional Poisson's equation in both InAlAs and InGaAs regions by taking into account the longitudinal field variation, field-dependent mobility, and the continuity condition of the channel current flowing within the quantum well shaped channel. Derived expressions for long and short channel devices would be applicable to the entire operating regions in a unified manner. Simulation results show that the drain saturation current increases and the threshold voltage decreases as drain voltage increases. Compared with the conventional model, the present model may offer more reasonable explanation for the drain-induced threshold voltage roll-off, the Early effect, and the channel length modulation effect. Furthermore, it is expected that the proposed model would provide more reasonable theoretical basis for analyzing various long and short channel InAlAs/InGaAs HEMT devices.
This paper presents a reservoir operation plan coupled with storage forecasting model to maintain a target storage and a critical storage. The observed storage data from 1990 to 2001 in the Geum-Gang agricultural reservoir in Korea have been applied to the low flow frequency analysis, which yields storage for each return period. Two year return period drought storage is then designated as the target storage and ten year return period drought storage as the critical storage. Storage in reservoir should be forecasted to perform reasonable reservoir operation. The predicted storage can be effectively utilized to establish a reservoir operation plan. In this study the autoregressive error (ARE) model and the ARIMA model are adopted to predict storage of reservoir. The ARIMA model poorly generated reservoir storage in series because only observed storage data were used, but the autoregressive error model made to enhance the reliability of the forecasted storage by applying the explanation variables to the model. Since storages of agricultural reservoir with respect to time have been affected by irrigation area, high or mean temperature, precipitation, previous storage and wind velocity, the autoregressive error model has been adopted to analyze the relationship between storage at a period and affecting factors for storage at the period. Since the equation for predicting storage at a period by the autoregressive error model is similar to the continuity equation, the predicting storage equation may be practical. The results from compared the actual storage in 2002 and the predicted storage in the Geum-Gang reservoir show that forecasted storage by the autoregressive error model is reasonable.
