  • 유비쿼터스 기술(uT)의 적용에 대한 논의가 상대적으로 저조한 재래시장에 uT를 적용하여 쇼핑고객의 쇼핑편의와 온/오프라인 쇼핑경험을 촉진할 수 있는 u-Market을 구현한다면, 재래시장을 방문하는 쇼핑고객의 수를 증가시킬 수 있으며, 이는 매출증대로 이어져 재래시장 활성화에 일조할 것이다. 이를 위해 우선 현실적인 u-Market 서비스 시나리오를 개발하였고, u-Market 시나리오를 기반으로 실제 사용자들을 대상으로 u-Market 서비스 수용성에 영향을 미치는 요인에 대한 연구를 하였다. 본 연구에서 제안하는 u-Market 서비스 시나리오는 향후 시스템 구현단계에서 개발자들 간의 협업을 촉진하여 고품질의 시스템을 효과적으로 개발하는데 일조할 것이다. 뿐만 아니라 u-Market 서비스 수용성에 영향을 미치는 요인에 대한 연구결과는 차후 재래시장에 실제로 구축될 u-Market 서비스의 성공가능성을 제고하는데 도움을 줄 것으로 기대한다.

촉감지원 3D 네트워크 가상환경을 위한 QoE 프레임워크 (QoE Framework for Haptic-based 3D Network Virtual Environment)

  • 본 논문에서는 촉감지원 NVE (networked virtual environment) QoE (quality of experience) 프레임워크의 프로토타입을 제안한다. 제안하는 NVE QoE 프레임워크는 가변적인 네트워크 상황과 이질적인 시스템 상에서도 제한된 자원을 효율적으로 사용하여 사용자에게 높은 현실감을 제공하는 것을 목표로 한다. 이를 위해서 촉감지원 NVE에서 요구되는 현실감 수준을 효율적으로 수치화 할 수 있는 방법을 제안하고 이를 기반으로 QoE 요구조건을 충족시키기 위해 필요한 컴포넌트들을 정의한다. 또한 다양한 미디어들이 결합되어있는 촉감 지원 NVE의 서비스에 따른 네트워크 요구조건을 분석하고 다양한 요구 조건을 효율적으로 수용하기 위해 필요한 촉감 지원 NVE 전송 컴포넌트들을 제안한다. 실험결과에 따르면 제안된 3D NVE QoE 프레임워크는 효율적인 cpu 및 네트워크 사용을 보장하며 이를 기반으로 제한된 자원 하에서도 사용자의 현실감을 개선시킨다.

도시소재 초등학교 옥외환경을 활용한 환경 '안에서의'(in) 교육 프로그램 개발 (Environmental Education 'IN' Environment Program Utilizing School Outdoor Environment for Schoolchild in an Urban Area)

  • The purpose of this study is to overcome the realistic pressure and the limit of school environmental education and to develop an environmental education program that can provide students, who live in an urban area, have difficulty in contacting with nature, with an opportunity to experience the nature in the school outdoor environment, which is their daily living space and is a ground of environmental education. First, I developed an analytical tool which can be used to determine the degree how the environmental education is related to the school outdoor environment with 8 categories(spaces). And I analyzed the 2007-79 curriculum of lower grade(1 and 2 grades) of the elementary school provided by the Ministry of Education and Human Resources Development by using the analytical tool and found out that this curriculum was suitable for the environmental education utilizing the school outdoor environment. According to this curriculum analysis, the studying subjects which could be suitable for the environmental education utilizing the school outdoor environment were extracted, and based on these subjects, an environmental education program was developed. The environmental education 'in' environment program were composed with 5 modules and 18 activity subjects suitable for students advancement phase, and these activities can be implemented with experiencing, understanding and expressing by using 5 senses. I also proposed a plan that can be used to apply this program continuously to the lower grades(1 and 2 grades) original experience activity class.

경기지역 일부 초등학생의 안전의식과 안전사고 발생 실태 (Safety-awareness and Accident Occurrence of Elementary-school Students in Gyeonggi province)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study analyzes the characteristics of safety education in schools, experience of accidents, and safety awareness level of elementary school students. It also presents realistic guidelines for safety education, which can effectively lead to the safety behavior of students. Methods: We carried out questionnaire survey by convenient sampling method to 6th grade students of 3 elementary schools in Gyeonggi-do area that can understand the questionnaire and express their own opinion for safety awareness from February 15, 2013 to February 1, 2013. We used a self-administered questionnaire and analyzed 266 questionnaires except dishonestly answered 34 questionnaires. Results: 1. For accident occurrence by gender, male students was higher than female students. Male students was also higher than female students among students having an accident(${\chi}^2$=5.142, p=0.029). There was statistical significance in accident occurrence by how they go to school. Students going to school on foot have higher accident rate(${\chi}^2$=11.447, p=0.010). 2. In terms of safety awareness level, students having no accident was higher than students having an accident(F=3.828, p=0.005) and students usually keeping safety rules have higher safety awareness(F=14.285, p=0.000). 3. When parents give safety education to their children as often as possible, the safety awareness level of students was high(F=5.257, p=.006). 4. Students having an accident have no safety education experience than students having no accident(p<0.05). They have never had safety education from a health teacher. There was statistical significance(p<0.01). Conclusions: Accordingly, we need to make students have safety attitude to prevent safety accidents. To achieve it, safety awareness has to be inspired. Systematic and various education programs that can give connected education with local community network to the students and parents is required.

식립 보조도구를 이용한 3D 치아 임플란트 시술 시뮬레이션 (3D Simulation of Dental Implant Surgery Using Surgical Guide Stents)

  • Surgeon dentists usually rely on their experiential judgments from patients' oral plaster casts and medical images to determine the positional and directional information of implant fixtures and to perform drilling tasks during dental implant surgical operations. This approach, however, may cause some errors and deteriorate the quality of dental implants. Computer-aided methods have been introduced as supportive tools to alleviate the shortcomings of the conventional approach. In this paper, we present an approach of 3D dental implant simulation which can provide the realistic and immersive experience of dental implant information. The dental implant information is primarily composed of several kinds of 3D mesh models obtained as follows. Firstly, we construct 3D mesh models of jawbones, teeth and nerve curves from the patient's dental images using software $Mimics^{TM}$. Secondly, we construct 3D mesh models of gingival regions from the patient's oral impression using a reverse engineering technique. Thirdly, we select suitable types of implant fixtures from fixture database and determine the positions and directions of the fixtures by using the 3D mesh models and the dental images with software $Simplant^{TM}$. Fourthly, from the geometric and/or directional information of the jawbones, the gingival regions, the teeth and the fixtures, we construct the 3D models of surgical guide stents which are crucial to perform the drilling operations with ease and accuracy. In the application phase, the dental implant information is combined with the tangible interface device to accomplish 3D dental implant simulation. The user can see and touch the 3D models related with dental implant surgery. Furthermore, the user can experience drilling paths to make holes where fixtures are implanted. A preliminary user study shows that the presented approach can be used to provide dental students with good educational contents. With future work, we expect that it can be utilized for clinical studies of dental implant surgery.

노인들의 장수에 대한 관념 (A Study on Thoughts of the Elderly about Long Life(Chang su))

  • A long life is the desire of many people. The purpose of this study was to describe the thoughts that are held by elderly people about long life as the elderly are approaching the end of life. The research was conducted using an ethnographic method to add understanding to this subject. The field work for this study was done from July, 1991 to August, 1993 in third phases in Chun Buk province. The results of the present study show the following : The thoughts of the elderly about chang su showed three important concepts : In Myoung Sae Chun(lived as life), Su Cheuk Dah Yok(long life is a disgraces, and Transcendence of life: In Myoung Sae Chun showed the thought of limitation of man’s life and realistic thought about the life through free oneself from death and life. Su Cheuk Dah Yok meant experience of physical difficulty, experience of sons and daughter’s death ahead one’s own self. Senility was the most afraid problem for the elderly. Transcendence of life showed pursuit of a continuing life through connected with sons and the family. The conditions promoting chang su were described as clear water, fresh air, adequate eating, deep sleeping, gender(female). In addition it showed that ecological and environmental conditions (heavy work, starvation, vegetable food, physical environment, respection for the elderly). These results showed that the elderly was recognized one’s own self as living being rather than adhered to the life, and will promote understanding the elderly’s desire for long life. Also, suggested to nursing practice that should maintain self-esteem and respect for the elderly, Therefore, these results can be used nursing practice for the elderly.

고등학생이 인지하는 성폭력에 대한 잘못된 통념 분석 (High School Students Misconceptions of Sexual Violence)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze high school. students' misconceptions and education of sexual violence. The data were collected from June 19 to July 14, 2000 using the questionnaire. The Subjects of this study consisted of 660 high school students in six provinces(Seoul, Incheon, Daegu, Kyunggi, Kangwon, Kyungbuk). Data were analyzed using percentage, mean standard deviation, ANOVA, and Duncan test. The results were as follows 1. About sixty-three percent of the subjects was educated for sexual violence. 2. About thirty-four percent of the subjects experienced sexual harassment, 22.3% of the subjects experienced serious sexual contact and 0.8% of the subjects was raped. 3. The mean score of misconception related sexual violence was $2.71{\pm}0.45$. 4. The mean score of misconception related sexual violence showed significant differences in delayed time of education(F=8.90, P<.0001), in reading of pornomagazine (F=2.58, P<.01) and in taken lecture from physical education teacher. 5. The mean score of misconception related sexual violence showed significant differences in experience of sexual harassment (t=-2.63, P<.01) and in experience of serious sexual contact(t=-2.78, P<.01). 6. There was a significant differences in misconception related sexual violence between boy and girl(t=6.69, P<.0001). According to the above results, realistic and future-directed sexual violence education materials should be developed for high school students. This information will provide useful data to promote a more systemic and desirable sexual violence education.

MPEG-I Immersive Audio 표준화 동향 (MPEG-I Immersive Audio Standardization Trend)

  • 본 고에서는 현재 탐색단계의 표준화가 진행 중인 MPEG-I Immersive Audio 표준화 동향을 소개한다. 이 표준은 5G/6G와 같은 초연결 환경에서 킬러 어플리케이션으로 기대되는 가상현실(Virtual Reality; VR) 및 증강현실(Augmemted Reality; AR)에서, 이용자가 가상환경과 상호작용을 통해 6 자유도(Degrees of freedom; DoF)로 소리를 실감나게 느끼고 실제 환경에서 경험하는 것과 같은 공간음향 체험을 제공하는 것을 목표로 한다. 이를 위하여, MPEG Audio Working Group에서는 가상현실 및 증강현실에서 공간음향 체험을 위한 시스템 구조 및 요구사항을 정의하였다. 이를 기반으로 요구사항에 대한 제안 기술 선정을 위한 오디오 평가 플랫폼(Audio evaluation platform; AEP), 인코더 입력 포맷(Encoder input format; EIF) 및 평가 절차 등에 대한 논의를 진행하고 있으며, 본 고에서는 그 주요 내용을 요약 기술한다.

자동 팔 영역 분할과 배경 이미지 합성 (Automatic Arm Region Segmentation and Background Image Composition)

  • 일인칭 관점의 훈련 시스템에서, 사용자는 실제적인 경험을 필요로 하는데, 이런 실제적인 경험을 제공하기 위하여 가상의 이미지 또는 실제의 이미지를 동시에 제공해야 한다. 이를 위해 본 논문에서는 자동적으로 사람의 팔을 분할하는 것과 이미지 합성 방법을 제안한다. 제안 방법은 팔 분할 부분과 이미지 합성 부분으로 구성된다. 팔 분할은 임의의 이미지들을 입력으로 받아서 팔을 분할하고 알파 매트(alpha matte)를 출력한다. 이는 종단 간 학습이 가능한데 이 부분에서 우리는 FCN(Fully Convolutional Network)을 활용했기 때문이다. 이미지 합성부분은 팔 분할의 결과와 길과 건물 같은 다른 이미지와의 이미지 조합을 만들어 낸다. 팔 분할 부분에서 네트워크를 훈련시키기 위하여, 훈련 데이터는 전체 비디오 중에서 팔의 이미지를 잘라내어 사용하였다.

구조적 안전성을 고려한 빙해선박의 안전 운항속도 평가 (Safe Speed Estimation of Arctic Ships considering Structural Safety)

  • Damage due to ice collision is the most serious threat for the structural safety of ships operating in arctic region. Since such hull damages are usually caused by the collision of floating ice at excessive voyage speed of ships, the authorities responsible for the shipping at arctic sea are required to provide the speed limit for safe voyage, so-called safe speed. In countries near arctic ocean, such as Canada and Russia, empirical methods to determine the safe speed of ships based on their long experience of arctic voyage have been established and applied them in the real arctic navigation. However, in Korea, it is not easy to accumulate the arctic voyage experience and related technical database, so it seems to be a realistic approach to adopt a safe voyage speed estimating method in arctic sea based on the ice collision simulation technology using the nonlinear finite element analysis. The aim of this study is to develop a technique for estimating the safe voyage speed of vessels operating at arctic sea through the ice collision analysis, In order to achieve this goal, the standard procedure of the ice collision analysis is dealt with and example analysis was carried out and the results were considered. To investigate the validity of developed method, POLARIS system proposed by IMO was studied for comparison.
