공식발표 통계지표의 적시성 확보를 위한 대안 데이터 파이프라인 구축제안 (Proposal an Alternative Data Pipeline to Secure the Timeliness for Official Statistical Indicators)

  • 본 연구는 공식발표 통계지표의 적시성 확보를 위해 기존 Nowcasting 방법론을 살펴보고 실시간 경기 현황 분석이 가능한 Real-time nowcasting 모형을 운용하기 위한 대안 데이터와 그 수집 체계를 점검한다. 공공영역과 민간영역에서 경기지표를 예측할 수 있는 고빈도 실시간 데이터를 탐색하고, 나아가 데이터의 수집, 가공, 모형화를 위한 클라우드 기반의 구축과정을 제안한다. 더불어 Real-time nowcasting 모형 추정 및 데이터 관리에 있어 고려해야 할 요소를 확인함으로써 적시성 및 안정성을 갖춘 공식 통계지표의 예측 프로세스를 제시한다.

  • Real time control system such as in factory automation fields, defense field, aerospace, railway industries, financial trading and so forth, includes multiple computers on multiple nodes, and share data to process various actions and functions. This is similar to multitasking in a multiprocessor computer system. The task processing efficiency of such system is proportionally increased by process speed of each process computer. And also it is greatly influenced by communication latencies of each node. To provide proper operation of such real time system, a network that can guarantee deterministic exchange of certain amount of data within a limited time is required. Such network is called as a real time network. As for modern distributed control system, the timeliness of data exchange gives important factor for the dynamics of entire control system. In a real time network system, exchanged data are determined by off-line design process to provide the timeliness of data. In other word, designer of network makes up a network data table that describes the specification of data exchanged between control equipments. And by this off-line design result, the network data are exchanged by predetermined schedule. First, this paper explains international standard real time network TCN (Train Communication Network) applied to the KHST (Korean High Speed Train) project. And then it explains the computer program developed for design tool of network data table of TCN.

EES 프레임워크를 위한 하이브리드 생산설비 데이터 습득 시스템(HEDAS)의 설계 및 구현 (Design and Implementation of a Hybrid Equipment Data Acquisition System(HEDAS) for Equipment Engineering System(EES) Framework)

  • 본 논문은 장비엔지니어링 시스템(EES) 프레임워크에서 반도체와 광전자 제조장비를 위한 새로운 하이브리드 생산설비데이터 습득 시스템을 설계하고 구현한다. 장비엔지니어링 분야에서 장비로부터 수집되는 데이터 량이 급격히 증가하고 있다. 제안된 HEDAS(Hybrid Equipment Data Acquisition System)는 EES 프레임워크에서 발생하는 대용량의 실시간 데이터를 효율적으로 처리한다. 또한, 제안된 시스템은 실시간 EES 응용 뿐만 아니라 비실시간 EES 응용을 지원할 수 있다. 실시간 EES 응용을 위해서 HEDAS는 메모리 기반의 연속질의와 필터링 기술을 이용하여 고속의 실시간 처리를 수행한다. HEADS는 비 실시간 장비 데이터를 HEADS 기반의 데이터베이스 또는 기존의 데이터베이스에 선택적으로 저장할 수 있다. 특히, 급격하게 증가하는 장비 데이터에 대해 디스크 저장 비용을 절감하기 위해 타임스템프 기반의 압축 인덱싱과 질의처리 기법을 제공한다. HEDAS는 EES 프레임워크에서 대용량의 실시간 및 비 실시간 장비 데이터를 수집하여 다양한 EES 응용에 수집된 데이터를 전송할 수 있는 효율적인 시스템이다.

실시간 공정 데이터를 위한 XML 기반 네트워크 서비스 (XML-Based Network Services for Real-Time Process Data)

  • This paper describes a message model based on XML (eXtensible Markup Language) to present real-time data from sensors and instruments at manufacturing processes for web service. HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language) is inadequate for describing real-time data from process control plants while it is suitable for displaying non-real-time multimedia data on web. For XML-based web service of process data, XML format for the data presentation was proposed after investigating data of various instruments at steel-making plants. Considering transmission delay inevitably caused from increased message length and processing delay from transformation of raw data into defined format, which was critical for operation of a real-time system, its performance was evaluated by simulation. In the simulation, we assumed two implementation models for conducting the transformation function. In one model, transformation was done at an SCC (Supervisory Control Computer) after receiving real-time data from instruments. In the other model, transformation had been carried out at instruments before the data were transmitted to the SCC. Various tests had been conducted under different conditions of offered loads and data lengths and their results were described.

Road Surface Data Collection and Analysis using A2B Communication in Vehicles from Bearings and Deep Learning Research

  • This paper discusses a deep learning-based road surface analysis system that collects data by installing vibration sensors on the 4-axis wheel bearings of a vehicle, analyzes the data, and appropriately classifies the characteristics of the current driving road surface for use in the vehicle's control system. The data used for road surface analysis is real-time large-capacity data, with 48K samples per second, and the A2B protocol, which is used for large-capacity real-time data communication in modern vehicles, was used to collect the data. CAN and CAN-FD commonly used in vehicle communication, are unable to perform real-time road surface analysis due to bandwidth limitations. By using A2B communication, data was collected at a maximum bandwidth for real-time analysis, requiring a minimum of 24K samples/sec for evaluation. Based on the data collected for real-time analysis, performance was assessed using deep learning models such as LSTM, GRU, and RNN. The results showed similar road surface classification performance across all models. It was also observed that the quality of data used during the training process had an impact on the performance of each model.

센서 네트워크에서 실시간 응용을 위한 전송 지연 개선 기법 (A Scheme to Reduce the Transmission Delay for Real-Time Applications in Sensor Networks)

  • 센서 네트워크 환경에서 실시간 응용이 원활하게 동작하기 위해서는 센싱 노드에서부터 싱크 노드까지의 실시간 전송이 요구된다. 기존의 혼잡 제어 기 법들은 센서 네트워크에서 혼잡 문제를 해결하기 위한 방법들을 제안하였으나 보고주기를 변경하거나 중간노드에서 전송을 억제하는 방식이므로 전송 지연 발생이 가능하여 실시간 센서네트워크 응용에는 적합하지 않다. 본 논문에서는 실시간 데이터에 대해 전송 지연을 감소시키고 throughput을 증가시킬 수 있는 새로운 메커니즘을 제안하였다. 이 메커니즘에서는 데이터를 실시간성을 기준으로 분류하여 실시간성을 유지하고 있는 데이터를 우선 처리하고 실시간성을 잃은 데이터는 비실시간성 데이터와 함께 처리토록 하였다. 또한 본 논문에서 제안한 전송 지연 개선 기법을 IEEE 802.15.4 MAC 계층에 적용하기 위해 수정된 프레임 포맷도 함께 제안하였다. 또한 본 논문에서 제안한 기법을 적용하는 경우 전송지연 및 throughput 측면에서 어느 정도의 성능개선이 이루어지는지를 확인하기 위해 ns-2를 기반으로 시뮬레이션을 수행하였으며 본 논문에서 제안한 기법이 실시간성이 중요한 응용에 적용될 경우 기존의 기법에 비해 우수한 성능을 나타냄을 확인하였다.

실시간 전력계통 운영을 위한 데이터 시각화에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Data Visualization for Real Time Power System Operation)

  • This paper describes and suggests the data visualization for real time power system operation based on energy management system. Because real time power system operation performs analysis of the vast amount of on-line data, the operators need intuitive data visualization to find out useful information in the big data. Especially, in emergency situation, the data visualization is able to assist the operators in handling the crisis quickly and efficiently. Therefore, this paper aims to improve displays of output of real time power system operation by visualizing on-line big data. Through this study, we can develop improved visualization technique for real time power system operation, which has highly readable displays of output and intuitive information.

  • The objective of he study is to record the real conditions along with the soccer ball that is, each player's ball keeping time, the number football keeping, accuracy of passing to other player, direction, etc., on a real-time basis, measure them in numbers and get necessary analyzed output as much as one needs. The study consists of the following stages: (1) Record the data by drawing through Visual Interface on a real-time basis; (2) Graphic windows to display the recorded data item by item in graphic; (3) Form windows to display the individual or team scores anytime when needed; (4) Windows to display the analyzed data in visualized form. The effect of the study is threefold: (1) It inputs all the game-related data on a real-time basis, which was impossible before and shows analyzed contents during the game enabling each tea manager o use; (2) In cse of TV broadcasting or newspaper articles, it explains objectively the situations of he game to the TV viewers or readers; (3) After the game, it provides importance information on each team's playing ability and individual player's technical improvement through data analysis.

  • This study develops an analytical model for the delay analysis of real-time data in the token-passing service of Foundation Fieldbus(FF). Using the analytical model, this study proposes a network design scheme of FF Two design criteria are introduced in this study; one is the average delay of real-time data, and the other is the maximum allowable delay of real-time data. The network design scheme determines the network parameters that satisfies the performance requirements given by these design criteria.

  • This paper deals with the middleware development for real time data processing using ubiquitous RFID(Radio Frequency Identification). This middleware system supports the real time data gathering, filtering, and collaborative operations within SCM. We expect to decrease the data processing cost and to upgrade the status of RTE(Real Time Enterprise) and competitive power of company.
