  • Orbit Determination is process of obtaining values of those parameter which completely specify the motion of an orbiting body through space, based on a set of observation of the body. For the narrow land of Korea, the ground tracking system has very limited time of operation. In this connection the use of GPS for orbit determination has advantage of full autonomy on the ground station. It would be more powerful economical method for near-earth satellites. Therfore we have better to pay attention to the research of satellites of orbit determination by use of GPS. So in this research, we studied themotion of the satellites with estimation using GPS. As a result, the result of computer simulation show that good convergence and indicated effective for real operation.

  • 실시간 동적 GPS 측위를 이용한 해저수심측량은 GPS 수신기가 이동중인 상태에서 신호단절 없이 연속적인 수심측정이 가능하며 등수심도와 등고선 제작에 정확한 위치를 결정할 수 있고, 음향측심기는 발사파와 수신파의 도달시간을 측정하여 수심을 관측할 수 있기 때문에 실시간으로 정확한 3차원 측량이 가능하다. 본 논문에서는 해안지역에 대한 지형 분석을 하기 위하여 기준점에 대한 정지관측을 실시하여 좌표변환계수를 산출하고, 이로부터 실시간 동적 GPS 측량과 음향측심기를 이용하여 해운대 해수욕장과 해안을 관측하였다. 1:1,200 축척의 수치지도에서 추출한 수치표고모델에서의 체적은 $97953.9m^3$이며, 실시간 동적 GPS와 음향측심기를 이용하여 추출한 수치표고모델에서의 체적은 $95994.9m^3$로 나타났다. 이는 수치지도에서의 체적과 측량결과의 체적이 단지 2.0%정도로 나타나 실시간 동적 GPS와 음향측심기의 결합에 의한 해저수심측량이 매우 성공적임을 알 수 있었다.

  • Recently, it has been partly attempted to measure behavior of large-sized bridge using GPS, but it is accomplished at the first step and unsystemically. The purpose of this research is to measure bridge behavior by Kinematic On The Fly (OTF) technique of GPS. The results of this study show that bridge behavior can be measured easily and conveniently in three dimension, monitored at the real time, and measured continuously without a break by OTF Technique of GPS.

  • In this paper, field test results of a new efficient integer ambiguity resolution algorithm for precision Carrier Differential GPS(CDGPS) positioning are presented. The new algorithm is based on a reconfiguration Kalman filter which is designed to be used for the real-time precise positioning with low cost, single frequency, conventional C/A code GPS receivers.   • 최근 사용자 편의성 제공을 위한 위치 기반의 데이터 마이닝 활용 서비스가 다양하게 개발되고 있다. 대부분의 이러한 응용 서비스들은 지도 API를 기반으로 한 정적인 정보를 주로 이용하여 사용자에게 서비스를 제공한다. 하지만, 사용자는 그에 비해 해당 GPS 좌표 위치 기반의 실시간 정보 서비스 요구한다. 이에 본 논문에서는 해당 GPS 좌표 위치의 공간 인식, 밀도 및 움직임 포착 등을 파악하고 이를 기반으로 새로운 서비스를 제공하는 기법을 제안한다.

  • Inertial Navigation System has been used extensively to determine the position, velocity and attitude of the body. An INS is very expensive, however, heavy, power intensive, requires long setting times and the accuracy of the system is degraded as time passed due to the accumulated error. Global Positioning System(GPS) receivers can compensate for the Inertial Navigation System with the ability to provide both absolute position and attitude. This study describes a method to improve both the accuracy of a body positioning and the precision of an attitude determination using GPS antenna array. Existing attitude determination methods using low-cost GPS receivers focused on the relative vectors between the master and the slave antennas. Then the positioning of the master antenna is determined in meter-level because the single point positioning with pseudorange measurements is used. To obtain a better positioning accuracy of the body in this research, a wireless internet is used as an alternative data link for the real-time differential corrections and dual-frequency GPS receivers which is expected to be inexpensive was used. The numerical results show that this system has the centimeter level accuracy in positioning and the degree level accuracy in attitude.

  • Due to GPS signal's vulnerability of jamming attack, various enhancement techniques are needed. Among variety of techniques, we focused on GPS receiver's anti-jamming techniques. There are many anti-jamming methods at GPS receivers which include filtering methods in time domain, frequency domain and space domain. However, these methods are ineffective to signals, which include both jamming and noise. To solve the problem, this paper proposes a jamming separation scheme by using a BSS method in a jamming environment. As separated GPS signals include noise after the jamming separation method, it is difficult to receive accurate GPS signals. For this reason, this paper also proposes a wavelet de-noising method to effectively eliminate noise. Experimental results of this paper are based on a real field test data of an integrated GPS/QZSS/Wi-Fi positioning system. At the end, the simulation result demonstrates its superiority by showing improved positioning accuracy.

  • This paper reveals determination of orbital elements of the satellite using GPS data collected by the low-end GPS receiver installed at KITSAT-3 which is a small scientific experimental satellite of Korea and launched in May 1999. An extended Kalman filter is designed for a forward estimation of real-time 3-dimensional position and velocity, and a smoother is used for a backward post-processing estimation of the same states. After finishing estimation of position and velocity, the corresponding orbital elements are estimated. Finally, the result of each orbital element is analyzed.

  • There has been a need for replacing human labors with a robot in such dangerous and hard jobs of various construction sites. For that reason, many researches have been made about the high quality robot, which performs its duty instead of human labors. This study is about auto surveying system development based on VRS-GPS which enables autodriving in dangerous areas where it's difficult for humans to measure directly. This study is about the auto-surveying system development, based on VRS-GPS, which enables auto-drive in dangerous areas, whereas difficult for humans to measure directly. The GPS is made with GRXI and SHC250 controllers of the SOKKIA company. The auto surveying system is composed of DPS module, geomagnetism sensor, bluetooth, gimbals, IMU, etc to automatic drive via enter into a route of position. The developed auto surveying system has installed the carmeras for front and vertical axis as well as systems to grasp situation of surveying with smartphone in real time. The result from analysed RMSE of auto surveying system and VRS-GPS surveying is 0.0169m of X-axis and 0.0246m of Y-axis.

  • KHST(Korean High Speed Train) has been utilized the total measurement system which evaluates the efficiency and a breakdown of the vehicle and it's results effect to secure reliability of the vehicle. Generally KHST has been received pulse signals from the wheel. It calculates the travel distance after counter the signals to confirm location information of the vehicle. However, there is a limit to measure the location of the vehicle due to slip, slide and the wheel attrition. We have developed a new measurement system by using GPS to complement those errors. In general, GPS receivers are composed of an antenna, tuned to the frequencies transmitted by the satellites, receiver-processors, and a highly-stable clock The GPS mounted on the roof of TT4 in KHST receives a signal from the RS232 communication port. It is connected to the network system in TT3 after converting with TCPIP communication. It is able to track the position of vehicle and synchronize the signal from different measurement system simultaneously. Therefore it is able to chase the fault occurrence, track inspection and electrical interruption at real-time situation more accurately. There is not an error coursed by vehicle conditions such as slip and the slide.
