해상에서 적외선신호의 계측절차 및 분석기법 연구 (A Study on Measuring Procedure and Analysis Technique of Ship Infrared Signature at Sea)

  • A scale model test for ship Infra-Red signature measurements at sea is impossible, because it is sensitive to the environment. Since we can't control the meteorological environment of the real sea, it can't be carried out with the desired maritime environments. Therefore, in the sea, we made measurements of the weather, operating conditions of the ship, and ship IR signatures under given conditions, and then analyzed them. Conversely, we compared the results of the test with a prediction for a given scenario condition. This paper describes the test items, procedures, and measuring instruments of the experiments at sea and the results from basic researches for methods of estimation and analysis of the measured data.

선체 운동 평가를 위한 다기능 계측시스템 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study On the Development of Multi-Purpose Measurement System for the Evaluation of Ship Dynamic Motion)

  • In order to evaluate the safety of navigation at sea and the safety of mooring ship on berthing, it is necessary that the wave and wind induced ship dynamic motion should be measured in real time domain for the validity of theoretical evaluation method such as sea-keeping performance and safety of mooring. In this paper, the basic design of sensors is discussed and some system configurations were shown. The developed system mainly consists of 4 kinds of sensors such as three dimensional accelerator, two dimensional tilt sensor, two displacement sensors and azimuth sensor. Using the this measuring system, it can be obtained the 6 degrees of freedom of ship dynamic motions at sea and on berthing such as rolling, pitching, yawing, sway, heave, surge under the external forces.

GPS 선간거리계측 시스템에 의한 묘박상황의 감시 (Ship′s Distance Measuring System by the GPS Receiver in Anchoring Watch)

  • 경상대학교 해양과학대학의 실습선 새바다호를 사용하여 통영항 내의 동호만에서 1999년 9월 3~4일 사이에 투묘와 양묘를 포함한 선박의 궤적을 PATK-GPS 선간거리계측 시스템을 이용하여 위치와 거리 및 상대방위를 측정하고, 그 측위 정도의 유효성과 묘박의 실시간 가능성에 대하여 분석한 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 투묘 후 묘가 브로트업 앵커가 될 때까지의 시간은 4분이 소요되었고, 완전한 묘박 상태로 되어 선박의 궤적이 나타나기 시작하는데 요하는 시간은 10분 정도였다. 2. 묘박중 선체는 묘를 중심으로 하여 8자형의 요동운동을 나타내었다. 3. 측정 전체 시간대의 평균 묘박위치는 투묘위치로부터 북으로 49m, 동으로 89m로 편향되었다. 4. 선박의 궤적은 묘를 중심으로 하여 상태방위 $186.1^\circ$에서 $194.2^\circ$까지의 $8.1^\circ$ 폭 사이를 장반경 63m, 단반경 53m의 거리로 타원형에 가까운 궤적을 그리고, 반시계 방향으로 이동하는 경향이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 5. 선위의 분포 빈도가 가장 높은 것은 상대방위 $187^\circ$, 거리 558m 지점이었고, 가장 낮은 점은 상대방위 $194^\circ$, 거리 556m의 지점이었다. 6. PRTK-GPS는 거리와 방위를 동시에 측정할 수 있으므로 선박의 묘박에 요구되는 적정한 면적과 주묘의 상태를 연속적으로 정밀하게 파악할 수 있으므로 묘박의 감시에 매우 적절한 시스템이라 판단된다.

함정 탑재 V/UHF 안테나의 전계 특성 분석 (Analysis of the Electric-field Characteristics of V/UHF Antennas Installed on a Shipboard)

  • Analysis of the electromagnetic environment on topside of a ship is needed for optimal arrangement of all kinds of antennas to be installed on the shipboard in order to minimize the probability of EMI of equipment and subsystems in real ship after construction phase. In this paper we analyze the characteristics of electric-fields such as radiation patterns and near E-fields of V/UHF antennas installed on a shipboard. We compare simulated results with measurements on the real ship for near E-fields to verify the reliability of the computed electromagnetic environment. Although there are various factors causing errors such as cable loss and impedance mismatching etc. when measuring near E-field, both data show similar trends in the range of the acceptable tolerance.

선박 유압 조타장치 부하의 추정 (Estimation of Load on Ship's Hydraulic Steering Gear)

  • For testing a newly designed ship's steering gear, a steering gear test bench with a steering gear to be tested and a load generation part should be prepared. The load given to the steering gear has to be pertinent to the load generated in a targeted ship. In this study, the authors suggest a process of estimating the load given to steering gears in ships. At first, a test for measuring the load in the steering gear of a real ship was conducted. Then, a process was developed to compute rudder driving torque and force by using basic equations including some empirical equations on ship's steering. The test results and the computation results on the load in the steering gear were compared, As a result, the process suggested in this study for estimating load in ship's steering gears was verified.

선박탑재용 종합내항성능 평가시스템 개발을 위한 기초적 연구 (A basic study for the development of Integrated Seakeeping Performance Evaluation System on board the ship)

  • From a ship's safe operation point of view, it is very important to estimate the navigational safety in a seaway. The seakeeping performance can be defined as the ability of a ship to go to sea, and to accomplish its missions successfully and safely even in adverse environmental conditions. There are several factors presently adopted for evaluating seakeeping performance. But a hardware of the system considering all these factors has not been developed since some of them can not be measured by sensors. In this paper, a synthetic method of evaluating navigational safety is developed by measuring the vertical and lateral acceleration. An experiment by using real measuring carried out on board the T/S 'HANNARA' The equipment was measured every 4 hours for more than 30 minutes the acceleration by accelerometer, analyzed its acceleration values and calculated navigational dangerousness. As the results of this on board experiment, the system is carried conviction to be useful as evaluating seakeeping performance.

선박의 운동 운항환경 모니터링 시스템 개발 (Development of the Motion Monitoring System of a Ship)

  • 바다에서 운항하는 선박은 바람과 파도 등의 외란 때문에 횡동요(Rolling), 종동요(Pitching), 상하동요(Heaving) 등의 운동을 하게 되며, 이러한 운동은 가속도 형태로 승객이 느끼게 된다. 따라서, 선박내의 특정 지점에서 좌우방향, 상하방향 가속도와 각속도 등을 계측하면 선원 또는 승객이 선박 운동에 어느 정도 피폭되었는가를 알 수 있다. 본 연구에서 개발한 운동 운항환경 모니터링 시스템은 4개의 가속도계와 가속도계, 자이로가 포함된 관성 자세계측장치, 데이터 취득장치를 포함한 계측 및 통신부, 중앙에서 데이터를 관리하고, 운항환경 지수를 계산하는 전산기로 구성되고, 계측된 가속도와 각속도를 이용하여 운항환경을 나타내는 정량적 지수인 뱃멀미 지수(Motion Sickness Incidence, MSI), 운동유발 작업방해회수(Motion Induced Interrupt, MII)를 실시간으로 계산한다. 개발된 시스템은 한국해양대학교 실습선인 한나라호의 부산-목포, 부산-제주 연안항해시 실선시험을 통하여 유효성을 확인하였다.

압력게이지를 이용한 부유식 도크의 변형 계측시스템 개발 (Development of the Deflection Measuring System by Pressure Gage for a Floating Dock)

  • In case of working for the construction of blocks of any ship in a floating dry dock, there may exist deflection in the pontoon deck of the floating dock due to the ballast loading and the self weight of the ship and the floating dock. This paper is on the development of the measuring system and the GUI program to show the real time variation of the deflections at even-spaced positions by several pressure gages and the calculated inclination of the floating dock. The measured and calculated data produced by this developed system could be used to prepare the protection plan on site like ballast adjustment to ensure the safety of working during the floating dock operation.

선박의 홀수 측정을 위한 초음파 펄스 신호의 해석기법 (An Analysis Technique of Ultrasonic Pulse Signal for Measuring Ship's Draught)

  • Although ship's draught information onboard is substantial for both the safety of navigation and the estimation of loaded cargoes, its accuracy depends, in conventional surveying method, on the skillfulness of observers and the condition of the sea surface round the vessel. To obtain more accurate information accessibly, measuring instruments with sophisticated sensors such as mechanical, electronic and ultrasonic transducers have been developed. However, they have still limitation in accuracy and in making up a system due to the complexity of processing signal. In this paper, we propose a new technique for analyzing ultrasonic pulse signal, in order to improve the measurement accuracy and simplify a remote sensing system of draught by ultrasonic waves. In this technique, pulse signal is translated into phase curve which is composed of the phase value defined in time domain. Then, the time interval between two signals different in waveform, is waveform, is analytically determined by calculating average time difference on phase curves. Also, analytical procedure can be carried out in real time with the successive five data sampled at T/4, for high speed digital processing with computer and A/D converter. This technique is useful for measuring draught under the influence of sea condition and for interfacing its data briefly to the integrated bridge system.

Digital Human Simulation을 이용한 근골격계질환 예방에 관한 연구 -조선업을 대상으로- (A Study for Prevention of Musculoskeletal Disorders Using Digital Human Simulation in the Shipbuilding Industry)

  • In this study digital human models of ship construction tasks using modeling & simulation were constructed and human models' activities through human activity analysis were evaluated. Human Factors experts analyzed the actual workers' tasks using the same technique used in human activity analysis at the same time. The main objective of this study is to check a possibility of applying digital human modeling technique to ship construction tasks that are mostly non-standardized(not uniformed) whereas most applications of digital human modeling technique have been applied to standardized tasks. We evaluated postures of both real workers and digital humans by RULA. It turned out that the final scores of RULA evaluation on real workers are the same as the RULA scores for digital humans. However, there were differences of RULA detail scores between real workers and digital humans in the several processes related with the wrist twist and deviations. Those differences are considered to be resulted from the error in the on-site measuring worker's body dimension which could be reduced by accurate tools to correct data for body dimension and digital real drawings for facilities. The results showed possibility of application of digital human modeling and ergonomic analysis on informal work operations as well as formal operations in the shipbuilding industry.
