외부 및 내부 확산을 적용한 인도네시아 석탄촤의 연소 반응율 분석 (Reaction Rate Analysis of Combustion for Indonesian Coal Char Applied by External/Internal Diffusion)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 국내 화력발전소에서 사용중인 인도네시아 석탄촤의 연소반응율을 연구하는 것이다. 석탄촤의 반응율은 External, Internal effectiveness factor를 고려하여 입자 내부 및 외부확산을 정량적으로 정리하였으며, Random pore model을 사용하여 탄소변환율에 따른 입자내부비표면적의 변화를 반영하였다. 가열 및 측정이 가능한 WHR(Wire Heating Reactor)를 활용하여 반응시간을 측정함으로써 석탄촤의 반응율을 도출하였고 BET(Brunauer-Emmett-Teller) 및 TGA(Thermo-Gravimetric Analysis) 장비를 활용하여 석탄촤의 물리적인 특성인 내부비표면적과 Random pore model의 구조변수(${\Psi}$)를 측정하였다. 석탄 종에 따른 활성화에너지 및 빈도인자를 도출하기 위해 아역청탄인 BARAMULTI, ENERGYMAN, AGM탄을 사용하였다. 본 연구 결과에서 External, Internal effectiveness factors를 통해 확산에 따른 kinetics를 비교한 결과 외부 확산 보다 내부 확산의 영향이 지배적임을 확인하였다. 최종적으로 내부 및 외부 확산에 대한 영향을 고려한 3종의 석탄촤 Intrinsic kinetics의 활성화에너지는 110~118 kJ/mol의 값을 보였다.

  • 흙막이 현장에서 안정성 및 경제적 시공이 이루어지기 위해서는 굴착단계별 토질특성을 반영한 정량적인 정수들이 실제 현장과 일치되어야 한다. 그중 흙막이 설계 시 가장 중요한 매개 변수인 변형계수 및 수평지반반력계수는 현장여건에 따라 표준관입시험의 N값으로 산출하는 것이 일반화되어 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 기존의 일반화된 흙막이 설계법의 모순을 극복하고, 실제 현장에 부합하는 수평지반반력계수 산정을 위하여 표준관입시험, 평판재하시험 및 공내재하시험을 실시하고 상호관계성을 비교 분석하였다. 또한, 현장의 실제 계측데이터를 통한 유한요소해석법과 탄소성해석법의 역해석을 통하여 수평지반반력계수와 굴착에 따른 저감계수를 추정하였으며, 궁극적으로 중 소형 및 일반현장에서도 흙막이 벽체 설계 시 합리적인 설계적용을 위한 정수의 오류를 줄이고자 한다.

운동화의 생체역학적 평가시 하지 회내운동의 운동학적 평가변인에 대한 상해 기준치 연구 (The Study on critical Value of Kinematical Evaluation Variables of Lower Extremity Pronation in Biomechanical Evaluation of Running Shoes)

  • The purpose of this study was to find the relationship between Achilles tendon angle, angular velocity from 2D cinematography utilized to easily analyze the functions of shoes, ankle joint moment, knee joint moment, and hip joint moment from 3D cinematography utilized to predict the injury. Also, this study was to provide the optimal standard to analyze the injury related to the shoes. Subjects in this study were 30 university male students and 18 conditions (2 types of running speed, 3 of midsole hardness, 3 of midsole height) were measured using cinematography and force platform. The results were as following. 1) Hip joint abduction moment was effected by many variables such as running speed, midsole height, maximum achilles tendon angle, ground reaction force. 2) Knee joint rotational moment in running was approximately 1/10 - 1/4 times of the injury critical value and eversion moment was approximately 1/4 - 1/2 times of the injury critical value. 3) Ankle joint pronation moment in running was 1/3 - 1/2 times of the injury critical value. 4) Knee joint rotational moment was found to be irrelevant with maximum achilles tendon angle or angular velocity. 5) Pronation from running was thought to be relevant to rather eversion moment activity than rotational moment activity of knee joint. 6) Plantar flexion abductor of ankle showed significant relationship with the ground reaction force variable. 7) When the loading rate for ground reaction force in passive region increased, extensor tended to be exposed to the injury. Main variables in biomechanical analysis of shoes were impact absorption and pronation. Among these variables, pronation factor was reported to be relevant with knee injury from long duration exercise. Achilles tendon angle factor was utilized frequently to evaluate this. However, as the results of this study showed, the relationship between these variables and injury relating variable of knee moment was so important. Studies without consideration on this finding should be reconsidered and reconfirmed.

Rubus coreanus Unripe Fruits Inhibits Immediate-type Allergic Reaction and Inflammatory Cytokine Secretion

  • The immediate-type allergic reaction (anaphylaxis) is involved in many allergic diseases such as asthma, allergic rhinitis, and sinusitis. The discovery of drugs for the treatment of immediate-type allergic diseases is a very important subject in human health. In this study, we investigated the effect of Rubus coreanus Miq.(Rosaceae) unripe fruits (RCF) on mast cell-mediated allergic reaction and inflammatory cytokine secretion. RCF inhibited compound 48/80-induced systemic reactions in mice. RCF attenuated immunoglobulin (Ig) E-mediated local allergic reactions. In addition, RCF dependently reduced histamine release from rat peritoneal mast cells local allergic reactions. In addition, RCF dependently reduced histamine release from rat peritoneal mast cells activated by compound 48/80 or IgE. Furthermore, RCF decreased the phorbol 12-myristate 13-acetate plus calcium ionophore A23187-stimulated tumor necrosis factor $(TNF)-{\alpha}$ and interleukin (IL)-6 secretion in human mast cells. Our findings provide evidence that RCF inhibits mast cell-derived immediate-type allergic reactions.

반응속도 분석을 통한 돈분의 탄화 온도 적정범위 평가 (Evaluation on Adequate Range of Carbonization Temperature using Swine Manure through Reaction Kinetics)

  • 돈분 자체의 저위 발열량은 859~1,075 kcal/kg로 낮게 나타나 열처리 중 한 공정인 탄화공정에 의한 연료의 개질이 필요하다. 돈분의 탄화 공정에서 가장 중요한 인자는 탄화 온도이며 본 연구에서는 탄화온도에 대한 적정 범위의 평가가 돈분의 열적 특성과 돈분의 탄화 반응속도를 통하여 이루어졌다. 열적 특성 분석 결과, 적정 탄화 온도는 높은 수율과 흡열 반응이 일어나는 $240{\sim}320^{\circ}C$로 평가되었다. 돈분 탄화공정에서의 반응속도는 1차 반응식과 Arrhenius 식을 통하여 나타내었으며, 빈도인자(lnA)는 3.05~13.08, 활성화 에너지는 6.94~18.05 kcal/mol로 평가되었다. 돈분 탄화 공정의 높은 효율과 돈분 내부로의 충분한 열전달을 위하여 최적 탄화 시간을 5~20 min로 설정하였을 때, 적정 탄화 온도의 범위는 $260{\sim}300^{\circ}C$로 나타났다.

Catalytic Effect of $MO_4^{2-_4}$ (M=Cr, Mo and W) on Hydrolyses of Carbon and Phosphorus Esters

  • Second-order rate constants have been measured spectrophotometrically for the hydrolysis of p-nitrophenyl ac-etate (PNPA) and p-nitrophenyl diphenylphosphinate (PNPDPP) with MO42- (M = Cr, Mo and W) in phos-phate buffer (pH = 8.00) at 35.0 $^{\circ}C.$ Thes e MO42- species exhibit large catalytic effect in the hydrolysis of PNPA and PNPDPP except WO42- in the reaction with PNPA. The catalytic effect of these MO42- species has been observed to be much more significantin the hydrolysis of PNPDPP than in the hydrolysis of PNPA. Since the smallest CrO42-would be most highly solvated by H2O molecules, CrO42- is expected to exhibit the least catalytic effect, if solvation effect is the most important factor. However, in fact, CrO42- shows the highest cat-alytic effect toward PNPA, indicating that solvation effect is not solely responsible for the catalytic effect. The most basic CrO42- shows the highest catalytic effect, while the least basic WO42- is least reactive toward PNPA, indicating that the basicity of MO4 2- might bean important factor. However, in the hydrolysis of PNPDPP, no correlation is observed between the basicity and catalytic effect, suggesting thatbasicity alone can not be re-sponsible for the catalytic effect shown by the MO42- species. Formation of a chelate is suggested to be respon-sible for the high catalytic effect of MO42- in the hydrolysis reaction of PNPA and PNPDPP. The formation of chelate is considered to be more suitable for the reaction with PNPDPP than with PNPA based on the larger catalytic effect observed in the reaction with PNPDPP than with PNPA.

A computational estimation model for the subgrade reaction modulus of soil improved with DCM columns

  • The accurate determination of the subgrade reaction modulus (Ks) of soil is an important factor for geotechnical engineers. This study estimated the Ks of soft soil improved with floating deep cement mixing (DCM) columns. A novel prediction model was developed that emphasizes the accuracy of identifying the most significant parameters of Ks. Several multi-layer perceptron (MLP) models that were trained using the Levenberg Marquardt (LM) backpropagation method were developed to estimate Ks. The models were trained using a reliable database containing the results of 36 physical modelling tests. The input parameters were the undrained shear strength of the DCM columns, undrained shear strength of soft soil, area improvement ratio and length-to-diameter ratio of the DCM columns. Grey wolf optimization (GWO) was coupled with the MLPs to improve the performance indices of the MLPs. Sensitivity tests were carried out to determine the importance of the input parameters for prediction of Ks. The results showed that both the MLP-LM and MLP-GWO methods showed high ability to predict Ks. However, it was shown that MLP-GWO (R = 0.9917, MSE = 0.28 (MN/m2/m)) performed better than MLP-LM (R =0.9126, MSE =6.1916 (MN/m2/m)). This proves the greater reliability of the proposed hybrid model of MLP-GWO in approximating the subgrade reaction modulus of soft soil improved with floating DCM columns. The results revealed that the undrained shear strength of the soil was the most effective factor for estimation of Ks.

생체반응(뇌파)과 인지평가 특성에 의한 개별 교차로 안전성 평가에 관한 연구 (Safety Evaluation of Individual Intersection Considering the Bio-Response (Electroencephalography) and the Cognitive Characteristics)

  • 교차로 교통사고의 주요 원인은 인적요인에 의한 교통사고가 대부분 차지하고 있어 운전자들의 주행특성 및 교통상황에 따른 심리적 생리적 변화측정을 통해 영향 요인 규명이 필요하다. 이에 본 연구에서는 운전자들의 인적요인을 고려한 개별 교차로 안전성 평가를 위하여 최첨단 계측장비를 활용한 뇌파반응을 측정하고 설문조사를 통해 평상시와 주행 실험시 운전자들의 인지특성 조사를 실시하였다. 교차로 접근시 뇌파변화와 주행실험 인지평가조사 자료의 관계성을 규명하고, 주행실험의 인지평가요인과 생체적 반응 뇌파데이터를 고려한 개별 교차로 안전성 평가 모형을 구축하였다. 그 결과, 교차로의 물리적 특성에 따라 생체반응 뇌파가 다르게 나타나고 인지평가 또한 차이가 있어 주행시 생체반응(뇌파)과정을 통해 인지평가를 하고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다.

한국형 부양자반응척도(Caregiver Reaction Assessment)의 구성타당화 연구 (Psychometric Properties of the Korean Version of the Caregiver Reaction Assessment(K-CRA))

  • 본 연구의 목적은 일상생활을 독립적으로 수행하기 어려워 도움이 필요한 노인을 돌보는 가족부양자의 부양경험을 다차원적으로 평가하기 위해 서양에서 개발된 부양자반응척도(CRA)를 우리나라 가족부양자에게 적합하도록 수정하여 한국형 부양자반응척도(K-CRA)를 제시하는 것이다. 이를 위해 우리나라 가족부양자를 대상으로 부양자반응척도(CRA)를 조사한 결과를 문항분석, 탐색적 요인분석, 타당도분석 등을 실시하였다. 연구의 대상은 조사시점을 기준으로 6개월 이상동안 일주일에 최소 7시간 이상의 돌봄을 일상생활수행능력에 제약이 있는 노인에게 제공한 253명의 가족부양자이었다. 분석결과를 통해 최종적으로 수정된 한국형 부양자반응척도(K-CRA)가 만족스러운 수준의 내적신뢰도, 구조적 타당도, 기준타당도, 수렴타당도를 지닌 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구를 통해 제시된 한국형 부양자반응척도(K-CRA)는 노인복지연구와 실천현장에서 가족부양자의 경험을 다차원적으로 평가할 수 있는 도구로 활용될 것으로 기대된다.

고급한식당 서비스스케이프가 고객감정반응과 재방문의도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of High Class Korean Restaurants' Servicescape on Customers' Emotional Response and Intention to Revisit)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the effects of high class korean restaurants' servicescape on customers' emotional response and intention to revisit. This study also examined the relationship among emotional and cognitive reactions and intention to revisit. A total of 216 questionnaires were analyzed using the factor analysis, reliability test, and structural equation modeling analysis. The results revealed that space, aesthetics and comfortableness were positively related to emotional reaction, and convenience and cleanliness were related to cognitive reaction. This study also found that intention to revisit was positively related to emotional and cognitive reactions. Moreover, it was found that think was positively related to emotional reaction, and feel, think, act and the related were positively related to cognitive reaction. Finally, cognitive reaction was positively related to revisit. The results of the study suggested that high-class Korean restaurant marketers should introduce or strengthen servicescape, brand reputation and experiences, which increased brand attitude or revisit.
