≪영추(靈樞)·본신(本神)≫편을 통해 본 정신 기능의 발생과 층차에 대한 고찰 (A Study on the Generation and Hierachy of Mental Functions in the ≪Lingshu·Benshen≫)

  • Objectives : We analyzed the descriptions of Doek(德)·Qi(氣)·Saeng(生)·Jeong(精)·Sin(神)·Hon(魂)·Baek(魄)·Sim(心)·Ui(意)·Ji(志)·Sa(思)·Ji(智)·Ryeo(慮)·Ji(智) which are the concepts mentioned in the beginning of the ≪Lingshu·Benshen≫. Methods : We reinterpreted this verse in ≪Lingshu·Benshen≫ from the viewpoint of evolution and development of mental function and considered it in relation to the knowledge of modern psychology and brain science. Results & Conclusions : The reproductive essence of the parents are combined, primitive essence (元精) is created and simultaneously primitive spirit is born. Primitive spirit first differentiates into Hon and Baek. Hon and Baek are instinctive mental functions. Up to this point, because the process is completed before birth, primitive spirit, Hon, and Baek are innate spirit. Ui, Ji, Sa, Ryeo and Ji are the rational thinking abilities as mental functions that develop actively after birth. This is called conscious spirit and acquired spirit. Analyzing the contents of , it can be said that the mental function is divided into four layers of primitive spirit-Baek-Hon-conscious spirit.

사수(邪祟)에 대한 의학적 인식의 변화 (Change of Perception on Sasu(邪祟), Evil-Spirit(鬼邪) Related Disease)

  • Objectives : This study aims at exposing interaction between socio-cultural influence on medicine, and the strong quest for rational explanation concerning the evil-spirit(鬼邪) related disease, namely Sasu(邪祟), in medical history. Methods : In order to apprehend the change of perception, Chinese medical classics referring directly to Sasu(邪祟), as well as Korean medical classics from Joseon dynasty were reviewed. Results : In Chinese medical texts, discriminating pseudo-sasu(類似邪祟) from evil-spirit related sasu had been one of the main concerns. And Chinese were more inclined to specify treatment plan for pseudo-sasu than handling evil spirits. On the contrary, Korean medical texts show common interests in eliminating evil spirits throughout Joseon dynasty. Conclusions : Since medicine is under the influence of socio-cultural condition, it cannot escape from the epistemology of corresponding society. Evil-spirit related disease therefore could remain within the sphere of medical discussion until very recently. If we observe the disease under the frame of culture, we not only can obtain broader view on dynamic nature of medical conceptions, but also gain better insight to understand medical classics.

A Demand Survey on the Priority of Agricultural College Students' Core Competencies Required by Agricultural Companies: A case study on G University

  • Background and objective: As the agricultural industry becomes a more convergent industry, it is believed that the demand for human resources by companies will change. Therefore, a survey was conducted to investigate the human resources required by agriculture companies. Methods: In the survey on 77 agriculture companies, 98.7% of respondents answered that new employees with a college degree needed additional training to adapt to practical affairs. Results: The first priority of education was "community spirit" (22.1%) and the second priority was "convergence capability" (15.6%). The most important educational goal desired by agricultural companies was "cultivating human resources with community spirit and ethical judgment", followed by "cultivating human resources with serious communication and problem-solving skills", and "cultivating human resources with scientific thinking and unique creative imagination." Sub-competencies that companies want agricultural colleges to strengthen were "community spirit" 4.32(SD=0.96), "desirable values" 4.30 (SD = 1.05), "sympathy" 4.28 (SD = 0.95), "convergence capability" 4.16 (SD = 0.88), "creativity" 4.11 (SD = 0.83), "civic spirit" 4.10 (SD = 0.91), and "rational/critical thinking" 3.94 (SD = 1.04). There was a significant difference in sub-competencies that require reinforcement depending on the number of full-time employees. "Creativity" was most necessary in companies with less than 3 employees (4.39), and 4~7 employees (4.33), and "aesthetics"" in companies with less than 3 employees (3.94), and 4-7 employees (3.61) "Civic spirit" was most necessary in companies with 31 employees or more (4.33). Conclusion: The most important educational goal desired by companies was "cultivating human resources with community spirit and ethical judgment".

일본(日本) 전통종교(傳統宗敎)의 경제윤리(經濟倫理) -심학(心學)을 중심으로 (The economic ethics of Japanese traditional religion - On the case of Shimhak)

  • The purpose of this paper is to make clear the relation of traditional religion with economic ethics and attitude in Japan. I selected Shimhak(心學) of Japanese traditional religions to analyze because it has been said that Shimhak was related to the modern ethics of merchants in Japan. The contents of this paper is composed of two parts. First, the religious character of Shimhak is discussed. I will analyze the relation of Shinto, Buddhism and Confucianism to Shimhak to certify the syncretism of Japanese religion. Second, the economic ethics of Shimhak is discussed. I will make clear the historical significance of Shimhak in modern Japan, and the relation of the economic ethics of Shimhak with the spirit of Japanese capitalism. This paper will be useful to make out the social influence of Japanese traditional religion, to estimate the sustaining mode of traditional value and ethics in Japan in the future.

  • This paper is intended to explore femininity the ideal beauty of body and the features in fashion pursued in the Fashion system and the Anti-Fashion Movement in the Victorian period, on which the modern fashion is based. For the informative facts needed in this paper, books on history, fashion history, feminism, art history of aestheticism and the ideal beauty of body are referred to. On the part Ⅱ of this paper, the femininity and the ideal beauty of body implied in the Aesthetic Movement and Rational Dress Movement as the anti-fashion movement in the Victorian period will be reviewed. Following are the conclusion : First, the works in Aesthetic Movement mainly include the image of sensual female. The essence of femininity is categorized by cultural value, poetic spirit. appetite for sex and self-expression. The ideal beauty of body pursued in this movement is the beauty of immatured body, which means rejection of maternity as well as appetite for sex in the form of metaphor of the power and enthusiasm of female. The features of Aesthetic Movement emphasize the image of sensual and characteristic woman. These features are expressed in the natural waist line and the vertical H silhouette of high waist, natural exposure of body by means of drapery, simplicity and decency by design without fixed forms and seemingly faded colors. Second, Rational Dress Movement attempted to evaluate the femininity in a different way and ultimately pursued masculinity. Therefore, morality, liberty, intelligence, spirituality, self-control, willingness, which had been believed to exclusively belong to male, are added to the categories of femininity. The ideal beauty of body is expressed in the form of Venus Coelestic which is refined and strong. This symbolizes woman's freeing from the fate of reproduction and subordinate relationship with male, morality, decision of one's own and willingness. The features of Rational Dress Movement represent the image of strong-willed and moral woman in its internal meaning. The features of its fashions represent the concealment of the body, emphasis on activeness in pants without decoration and simplicity in its external form. All these features resulted from the pursuit of masculinity.

  • For the past years, Korean Housing policy have been focused on quantity rather then quality, when they provide housing. Focusing great quantity on housing led monolithic and standardized house forms in limited area. Most of our traditional residental environment, which made Koreans to communicate with neighbors, disappeared from the result of providing great quantity on housing. However, the increase of the income and standard of living, changed people's view. People start to demand for the place which is commodious and comfortable to live. Moreover, more leisure time caused people to communicate with their neighbors. To meet the demands of new forms of housing, they started to provide a community space to increase sense of belonging and community spirit for the residents in apartment house. The forms of past house which is defined by uniformity is delivered from rational thoughts. People can get emotional satisfaction from Community space because it provides opportunity of communicating and increase community spirit. This research is to classify the emotional expression in Community space and analyze the elements that is expressed in community space of apartment house.

지방의료원장의 의사결정 유형, 공공 기업가정신 및 경영성과 (The Decision-Making Types, Public Entrepreneurship and Performance Management of Local Public Hospital Directors)

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship between decision-making types, public entrepreneurship, and performance management of local public hospital directors. Methods : A questionnaire survey was carried out to assess the dependent variables of directors' decision-making types and public entrepreneurship. The analysis of management performance was carried out through a comparison between 2016 results of, data of variation rate on medical revenue and change rate on medical profit and results in 2015. Results : Results indicated that local public hospital directors who used rational decision-making showed better performance management. The analysis showed that enterprise had a greater positive effect (+) on variation rate of medical revenue than that of innovation. However, innovation had a higher positive effect (+) on change rate of medical profit than that of enterprise. These results suggest that innovation and enterprise have a major influence on performance management. Conclusions : The survey used for this study suggests that an education and training program is needed to improve public hospital directors' ability for rational decision-making, public entrepreneurship and performance management. Additionally, the policy change guaranteeing autonomy within the proper range is demanded that Local Public Hospital Director having spirit of innovation and enterprise achieves peak capacity and have responsibility for management.

인간의 감성적 행복감에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Emotional Happiness of Human)

  • 인간의 감성은 인간관계 속에서 발현되는 선험적으로 주체하지 못하는 감정의 오류를 현명하게 절제할 수 있도록 도와주며, 합리적인 선택을 할 수 있도록 감정에 명령하기 때문에 나와 타인의 행복(幸福)에 기여하게 된다. Abraham은 하나밖에 없는 아들, 그것도 백 세가다되어 얻은 아들을 제물로 바치라는 신의 명령에 고민에 빠졌을 것이다. 이때 그의 이성은 과연 합리적이었을까? 이성적 사유로는 자신의 아들을 바치는 행위가 적합한 행위라고 사유할 수 있겠지만, 인간의 마음으로는 그것이 과연 가능할 것인가? 또한 Aristoteles는 인간을 위한 선(善)에 있어서 인간적인 덕에 대해 정신의 덕이라고 하였다. 행복(幸福)도 정신의 활동이기 때문에 우리는 정신에 대해 어느 정도 알아야 한다고 말하였다. 이 ψυχή(psyche, 영혼) 정신(精神)은 비이성적인 요소로 눈에 보이지 않지만 이성적 원리에 개입하는 어떤 작용이다. 또한 C. G. Jung은 모든 인간은 눈에 드러나지는 않지만 역동적인 네 가지 심리기능을 가지고 있으며, 마음이 움직이는 것은 이러한 4가지 기능적 차원에 의한다는 것이다. 이것은 감각(S, Sensing), 직관(N, Intuition), 사고(T, Thinking), 감정(F, Feeling)의 요소가 복합적으로 작용하고 있다는 것이다. 또한 David Hume은 도덕은 이성에서 유래될 수 없다고 단정하면서 공감의 원리를 역설하였으며, Max Ferdinand Scheler는 어떤 사람의 시각적 특징을 파악하기 전에 이미 그 사람에 대한 전체적인 느낌을 마음속에 포착해 대응 태세를 취하게 되며, 이 느낌 속에 주어지는 것이 바로 가치이며, 이러한 과정을 통하여 가치가 부여됨으로써 인식 대상으로 고양되고, 가치를 파악하는 감정의 작용은 언제나 이성보다 선행하여 일어난다고 하였다. Emmanuel Levinas는 지극히 감정적인 사랑의 감정은 이성에 앞서며, 감성이 인간의 이성적 사유와 합리성에 앞선다는 것은 감정의 통제 불능에서 우리는 통제가능성과 절제의 요구로서 이성적 사유와 합리적이고 현명한 실천이성을 요구하게 되기 때문이라고 언급하였다. 인간의 감성적인 교육의 일환으로 도덕윤리과 교육과정에서는 Bloom의 인지적 정의적 행동적영역의 통합적인 사고를 갖춘 존재로서 도덕적 실천행위를 하는 존재를 이상형으로 지향하고 있다. 어떻게 하면 덕스러운 행위에 대한 감정의 지향성을 따르는 행위를 할 수 있으며, 또 어떻게 하면 부덕한 행위에 대한 감정의 지양성을 함양할 수 있을 것인가에 초점이 맞춰져 있다. 이러한 문제해결의 방향성은 바로 '덕감(德感) 강화'의 원리와 '부덕감(不德感)제거'의 원리로 우리는 인간의 감성(感性)과 행복감(幸福感) 함양에 대한 가능성과 방향성을 설계할 수 있다.

宋代画论中的理性精神 (Rational Spirit for Painting Theory of the Song Dynasty)

  • 중국회화에서는 이미 오랜 전에 '이(理)'를 언급하였다. 송대(宋代) 이전에 교화(敎化)하고 인륜(人伦)을 돕는 것은 중국회화의 주요한 사회기능이었다. 따라서 송대(宋代) 이전에서 회화(绘画) 중에 체현된 '윤상지리(伦常之理)'는 가장 중요시 되었고 화론(画论) 중에서도 회화의 '자연지리(自然之理)', '사변지리(思辨之理)', '예술지리(艺术之理)'가 어쩌다 언급될 정도에 지나지 않았다. 그러나 송대(宋代)에 이르러 회화(绘画)의 '자연지리(自然之理)', '사변지리(思辨之理)', '예술지리(艺术之理)'는 광범위하게 중시되었고, '윤상지리(伦常之理)'도 몰락하지 않고 '산수화(山水画)', '화조화(花鸟画)' 등과 같이 새로운 회화소재를 찾아내었다. '이성정신(理性精神)' 의 체현은 회화작품에서 가장 중요하게 요구하지만 필연적으로 요구하는 것은 아니다. 본문에서는 송대 화론 중에 체현된 '이성정신(理性精神)'을 상세하게 분석하였다. 여기에는 그린 대상물 사이에 존재하는 지리적, 물리적 차이 등과 같이 관찰을 통해 얻을 수 있는 '자연지리(自然之理)'를 포괄한다. 또한 관찰의 기초 위에 사고를 조금 첨가한, 즉 알 수 있는 '사변지리(思辨之理)'를 포괄하니, 송나라 사람들은 '상리(常理)'라고 불렀다. 송나라 사람들은 회화작품 중에서 어떤 곳이 '상리(常理)'에 부적합하면 전체작품의 풍격이 떨어진다고 판단하였다. 여기에는 또한 '정경지리(情境之理)'도 포괄한다. '정리(情理)'는 연상력에 대해 매우 높은 요구를 제기하였으니, 사고력이 한층 더 심화된 것이다. 일례로 화가가 관현악으로 구성된 음악연주회를 그릴 때에 관악기는 손가락을 눌러 소리를 내고 현악기는 줄을 타서 소리를 내는 것에 근거하여 관악기와 현악기 연주들의 순간적인 손동작을 정확하게 그려내야 한다. 여기에는 더욱 '예술지리(艺术之理)'를 포괄하니, 송나라 사람들은 '신리(神理)' 혹은 '묘리(妙理)'라고 불렀다. '신리(神理)' 혹은 '묘리(妙理)'는 창작자의 관찰과 사유 이외에도 창작자의 정신이념을 더하여 예술적 경지로 승화시키기를 요구한다. 그 일례로 '설중파초(雪中芭蕉)'라는 작품은 이미 관찰하여 얻을 수 있는 것도 아니고, 생각하여 얻을 수 있는 것도 아니며, 창작자의 '금강불후(金剛不朽)' 정신이념에 의탁한 결과라고 할 수 있다. 물론 여기에는 '윤상지리(伦常之理)'도 포괄한다. 화가는 종종 인물화의 풍자적인 고사, 심지어 산수화의 우뚝한 구도를 통해 봉건 국가의 윤상(倫常)관계 및 사대부 개인의 '군자지도(君子之道)'를 나타내었다. '지리(地理)', '물리(物理)', '상리(常理)'는 모두 표현하고자 하는 대상물에 대해 자세하게 관찰함과 동시에 자신의 이성적 사고력을 요구한다. 그리고 '정리(情理)', '신리(神理)', '윤상지리(伦常之理)'는 자세한 관찰을 바탕으로 회화의 의경(意境)과 인생의 경계 위에 회화의 격조를 승화시키기를 요구하니, 즉 기예로 도에 나아가는 것이다. 이는 송나라 사람들이 회화작품에 대한 6종의 순서대로 증가하는 이성(理性)요구이다. 따라서 '종구기리(終求其理)' 는 송대 화론의 기본적인 정신이라고 할 수 있다. 송대 이후에 '이(理)'는 중국 고전 회화미학 중에서 전형적인 범주가 되었다.

MORE EXPANSION FORMULAS FOR q, 𝜔-APOSTOL BERNOULLI AND EULER POLYNOMIALS

  • The purpose of this article is to continue the study of q, 𝜔-special functions in the spirit of Wolfgang Hahn from the previous papers by Annaby et al. and Varma et al., with emphasis on q, 𝜔-Apostol Bernoulli and Euler polynomials, Ward-𝜔 numbers and multiple q, 𝜔power sums. Like before, the q, 𝜔-module for the alphabet of q, 𝜔-real numbers plays a crucial role, as well as the q, 𝜔-rational numbers and the Ward-𝜔 numbers. There are many more formulas of this type, and the deep symmetric structure of these formulas is described in detail.
