Because process variations have direct influence on yield rate in process industry, it is very important to understand process variations that occur accidentally. In process industry, quality variation due to the activities of process improvement and maintenance and chance effect such as change of work environment and difference in staffs' craftsmanship are mixed with each other, therefore it is difficult to actually detect minute process variations. In this study, objective and rational methods of detection that can detect minute process variations in process industry were designed referring to various methodologies of process management, and they were verified through similar examples.

A commodity distribution problem with intertemporal storage facilities and dynamic transportation networks is proposed. mathematical integer programming methods and multiobjective programming techniques are used in the model formulation. Dynamic characteristics of commodity distribution problems are taken into account in the model formulation. storage facility location problems and transportation link addition problems are incorporated into the intertemporal multicommodity distribution problem. The model is capable of generating the most efficient and rational commodity distribution system. Therefore it can be utilized to provided the most effective investment plan for the transportation infrastructure development as well as to evaluate the existing commodity distribution system. The model determines simultaneously the most efficient locations, sizes, and activity levels of storage facilities as well as new highway links. It is extended to multiobjective planning situations for the purpose of generating alternative investment plans in accordance to planning situations. sine the investment in transportation network improvement yields w\several external benefits for a regional economy, the induced benefit maximization objective is incorporated into the cost minimization objective. The multiobjective model generates explicitly the trade-off between cost savings and induced benefits of the investment in transportation network improvement.

A mission of the police as described by law is to guard the life, body and property of all citizens. Such duties should be accurately performed based on legal and democratic procedures because the works of the police are directively influencing the overall lives of the citizens by restricting their freedom. The national police agency is setting up the figure of the police trusted and beloved by citizens. The strategies of police reform is to recognize the proposition of 'change the mind and you will see the bright future' and the historical mission of 'It is possible to survive only through the reform'. We are frequently watching the traffic police on the street or road. Traffic policing aims to reduce crime and the opportunities for criminal activity in relation to the use of roads, that is to improve road user behavior in order to reduce accidents. This study examines perceptions of drivers on the traffic police. For this purpose, this study surveys the opinion and view of drivers in Andong city based on the survey research and interview methods. The major findings of this study is as follows. Many drivers in Andong city evaluate negatively the kindness toward civilians, fair(rational) law enforcement of traffic police. So, this study suggests the improvement of the traffic police image.(for example, kindness toward civilians, service attitude, fair and rational law enforcement, etc)

The Result of the study can be summarized as follows : (1) Korean culture and public library look extremely wasted equally. Judging from this fact, I believe that it is impossible for public library can contribute to development of Korean culture. (2) But, public library can contribute to development of culture in the cultural environment that mental desire is prior to physical wants. This cultural environment can be built up with reading of good books. Therefore, if class to reading education and diverse reading education programs can be activated in a large portion of the nationwide public libraries and the majority of a local resident are capable of improving their creativity power, thinking power and imaginative faculty, public library can contribute to produce such cultural circumstances. (3) Quality, culture, a human and mind receive mu6 respect in Korean Society as advanced civil, democratic and industrial society in the future. The Society will be influenced by reason and rational culture will be suitable to this society. Creativity power, thinking-power, imaginative faculty, intelligence and power of information management are demanded to the greatest degree for the development of idea and new technology in the society under the control of rational culture. So, lifelong education with library use is the most fruitful and inexpensive way for the improvement of these powers.

본 연구는 소방공무원이 지각하는 조직문화 유형과 조직지원인식이 조직몰입에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 알아봄으로써 이들의 조직문화 유형에 따른 조직몰입을 높이고 조직차원에서의 지원에 관한 실천 방안을 마련하는데 도움을 주고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 경기 북부지역 소방공무원 205명을 대상으로 유의표집 방식으로 조사하였다. 조사결과, 소방공무원의 조직문화 유형 중 집단문화와 합리문화, 그리고 조직지원인식이 조직몰입에 통계적으로 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 조사되었다. 본 연구결과를 토대로, 소방공무원이 지각하고 있는 집단문화와 합리문화의 활성화와 이에 따른 조직몰입을 높이고 조직차원에서의 다양한 지원방안에 대해 제안하였다.

최근 wireless network이나 internet과 같이 오류가 많이 발생하는 channel을 통한 video의 전송이 급격히 증가하면서 channel상에서 발생하는 전송에러로 인한 데이터의 손실이 심각한 문제로 대두되고 있다. 따라서 영상통신에서의 error control과 concealment가 주된 관심사로 부각되었다. 본 논문은 MPEG-4나 H.263등의 방식으로 압축된 비디오를 전송하는 동안 채널 상에서 발생하는 전송에러로 인하여 블록 손실이 일어난 영상에 대해 디코더에서의 후처리 (postprocessing)에 의한 시간적 에러 은닉 (error concealment) 기술을 이용하여 손실된 블록을 정정하는 기법에 대하여 연구하였다. 손실된 블록 주위의 정상 블록의 움직임 벡터들을 이용하여 중간 (median) 값을 취한 후, 손실된 블록의 새로운 움직임 벡터로 할당하고, overlapped block motion compensation (OBMC)을 통해 최종적으로 손실영역을 은닉하게된다. 그 결과 계산량이 적고, PSNR 성능평가 면에서는 제안한 방법의 결과가 기존의 방법들 중 우수한 에러 은닉 결과를 내는 MVRI (Motion Vector Rational Interpolation) EC 2-D Case of All Directions보다 약 1.4∼3.5㏈정도 향상된 견과를 얻을 수 있었다.

The objective of this study is by analyzing villages("Ri" units) to specify the proper unit of the area that the rural development policy is suitable for, and to examine whether the current rural development policy considers the characteristics of community and region. The study included twelve districts(in Korean "Eup" or "Myun") and one hundred one villages(in Korean ri) in Poryong-si, Chungchungnam-do. Twelve and fifteen variables are respectively employe for the analysis of Myun`s and Ri`s. Using Factor Analysis, Cluster Analysis, and Z-Score Analysis, the study examines the degree of disadvantage and the process of growth pattern of each Myun or Ri. The Ri`s are also classified according to their functional characteristics. The results of this study could be summarized as follows; 1) There exist some problems in the current rural development policy because it does not take into consideration the characteristics community and region. 2) Except a few distinct of areas, the proper unit of the area for the rural development policy should be set being based on regional characteristics rather than the administrative units. 3) The spatial boundary of rural development policy should be sets from villages(ri) to beyond the unit of administrative units("Si" or "Gun"), according to the village unit analysis. 4) It is needed that community and region data should be consistently accumulated after specifying Standard Statistical Districts. 5) The application of indicators should be in accordance with the characteristics of the policy.

디지털 기술의 발전과 제품의 정보화로 인해 최근 사용자 인터페이스 디자인의 중요성이 더욱 더 증대되고 있다. 따라서 사용자 인터페이스의 개선이 어느정도 효과가 있는지를 체계적이고 합리적인 방법으로 측정하고 관리하는 것이 필요하다. 본 연구는 사용자 인터페이스 디자인에 있어서 사용성이 얼마나 개선되었는지를 나타내는 측정 가능한 '사용성 개선지수'를 개발하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 먼저 기존의 사용성 평가방법과 선행연구에 대한 분석을 통해 사용성 개선지수 개발을 위한 사용성 측정 및 평가방법에 대한 틀을 마련하였다. 다음으로는 측정 가능한 사용성의 특성을 분류, 정의하고 이를 바탕으로 사용성 개선지수 산출 프로세스를 제안하였다. 현재의 사용성 수준을 측정하고 문제점을 분석하여 사용성을 개선한 대안을 제시하고, 개선된 사용성 수준을 측정하여 개선전과 개선 후의 사용성 수준을 비교할 수 있게 하였다. 개발된 사용성 개선지수는 실제 제품의 사용성평가와 개선작업을 사례연구로 진행하여 그 적용 가능성을 확인하였다. 본 연구는 목표에 의한 UI디자인을 가능하게 하고 사용성을 체계적이고 합리적인 방법으로 개선하고 관리하는데 도움을 줄 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.
