피치각 수정에 따른 축류식 터보팬 성능 변화에 관한 연구 (Performance of an Axial Turbo Fan by the Revision of Impeller Pitch Angle)

  • The aim of this paper is to suggest one efficient method for the various requirements of performance during the process designing and producing an impeller. The study considers that the revisions of a pitch angle of an impeller at an axial turbo fan affect an air flow rates and a static pressure rise. The axial turbo fan specified with the 250 Pa maximum static pressure and 1300 CMH fan air flow rates was tested and analyzed by CFD. The Numerical results show that the air flow rates are calculated to 1,175 CMH, 1,223 CMH, 1,270 CMH, 1,340 CMH and 800 CMH in cases that the pitch angles are $44^{\circ},\;49^{\circ},\;54^{\circ},\;59^{\circ},\;and\;64^{\circ}$ respectively. Also the static pressure rises are shown to 108 Pa, 122Pa, 141 Pa, 188 Pa and 63 Pa at the same cases. The air flow rate is increased linearly according to the changes of the pitch angle from $44^{\circ}\;to\;59^{\circ}$ and the maximum air flow rate passing the impeller is increased to $13\%$ over at the case of $59^{\circ}$ pitch angle compared with the reference case of $54^{\circ}$ pitch angle. The static pressure rise is increased linearly according to the changes of the pitch angle from $44^{\circ}\;to\;54^{\circ}$, too. The static pressure rise at the $59^{\circ}$ pitch angle is increased to $33\%$ over compared with the $54^{\circ}$ pitch angle. The result shows that the revisions of pitch angle make the static pressure rise increase widely. However the air flow rates and the static pressure rise at the $64^{\circ}$ pitch angle are suddenly decreased because of over-changed pitch angle.

제주도 서귀포시지역의 용도지역별 하수발생량 특성에 관한 연구 (A study on the characteristics of wastewater flowrate in land-use of Sogwipo-city in Cheju)

  • To identify the characteristics of wastewater flow generated in treatment basins of Seogwipo-city, we selected 3 stations representing the basin and performed 7 times of field survey including 5 times in dry periods and 2 times in wet periods from Feb. 25 to May 27, 2002 for the selected stations. From the analysis of flow data measured for more than 60 days in the interval of 5 minutes and concentration data obtained from laboratory analysis, we can draw several conclusions. First, in the analysis of diurnal variation of wastewater flow for land-use types, we could find the following results: in the residential area, it is observed that wastewater flow rates rise early in the morning for the office-going hour and fall gradually and rise again after the office-leaving hour, showing typical residential wastewater flow pattern, while for the residential and commercial area flow rates rise early in the morning at the office-going hour and move up and down repeatedly within wide range and last till the office-leaving hour, which can be resulted from wastewater that is generated by tourists activated after early in the afternoon, while for the touristy area flow rates rise early in the morning and fall gradually and rise again within wide range. Second, in the analysis of temporal variation of wastewater flow for monthly, it can be observed that in the residential area, in the residential and commercial areas the flow rate of May is higher than that of Feb., March, while for the touristy area flow rate is without monthly because it reflects the movement of population, Third, in wet periods concentration of water-quality item such as SS, BOD, and COD_{cr}$ is high in the beginning of rainfall by first flush, and falls down gradually to reach the steady state, which is the level of wastewater in dry periods after the cease of storm water due to diluting effect resulting from additional runoff water through storm sewers.

고변형률 변형하에서 재료 내부의 온도상승 계산을 위한 재료 모델링 (Material modeling of the temperature rise at high-strain-rate deformation)

  • 고속으로 비행하는 물체가 다른 물체와 충돌하는 경우에는 극히 짧은 시간에 커다란 변형이 일어나게 된다. 고변형률 변형 (high-strain-rate deformation) 에서는 소성변형이 일어나면서 상당한 열을 발생시키고 재료의 온도를 상승시킨다. 온도의 상승은 재료의 동적인 물성에 많은 영향을 미치게 되므로, 변형 시의 온도상승을 예측하는 것은 매우 중요하다. 변형시의 온도상승은 주로 전위(dislocation)의 움직임과 공공(vacancy)으로 인한 재료내의 저장에너지와 밀접한 관계를 갖게되므로, 저장 에너지의 양을 파악하는 것은 매우 중요하다. 고변형률 변형시 전위가 빠르게 움직이면서 평형상태에서의 경우보다 많은 파공공 (excess vacancies) 을 발생시키게 된다. 본 논문에서는 과공공을 포함하는 미시적 재료 모텔을 구성하고 분자동역학 (molecular dynamics, MD) 기법을 사용하여 면십입방격자 (fcc) 구조를 가지는 재료 (구리)에 대한 저장 에너지를 계산하였다.

다가구 주택의 매트리스 화재 시 차동식 스포트형 감지기의 온도상승 및 동작시간 분석 (Analysis of Temperature Rise and Operation Time of Differential Spot Type Detector in Case of Mattress Fire in Multi-family House)

  • This study developed a scenario to understand the reaction rate and operational time according to RTI value of rate of rise detector in each type in case of fire mattress. In the results of analyzing the reaction rate and operational time of detector in each scenario, in case when installing a single detector, the elevated temperature per minute was raised to 8℃/min ~ 9℃/min. In case when installing two detectors, it was raised to 9℃/min ~ 10℃/min. In case when installing three detectors, it was raised to 10℃/min. The horizontal distance between detector and mattress was 1.8m~2.5m. Whenever the number of detectors was increased, the horizontal distance was decreased. The operational time of detector was within maximum 540 seconds and minimum 420 seconds. As the research tasks in the future, there should be the researches on the effects of reaction rate of detector on the evacuation in case of fire through the result value of RSET by setting up the latency until the detector operates, and the researches on the safety by understanding if the operational time of detector is suitable for the evaluation standard of performance-centered design.

  • Two stage startup of high thrust liquid rocket engine can reduce the abrupt impulse to the vehicle and engine by changing oxidizer flow rate to the combustion chamber. Also it ensures stable ignition of combustion chamber against hard start and to prevent pump stall by the sudden supply of large mass flow rate. However high discharge pressure of oxidizer pump or temperature rise in gas generator may be a problem in applying the preliminary stage. To solve this problem, we analyzed the effect of the slope of oxidizer pump's head curve and the oxidizer mass flow rate to combustion chamber during preliminary stage using the rocket engine startup analysis code. A moderate slope(${\circleddash}{\sim}$-3) of head curve and 80% mass flow rate during preliminary stage can reduce the oxidizer pump discharge pressure by 15 to 20% comparing with the condition of ${\circleddash}$=-4.37 head curve and 70% mass flow rate. Also it can maintain the turbine inlet temperature rise within 50K from the nominal value.

  • 본 연구에서는 와류실식 디젤 기관에 경유-물의 유화연료 사용시 시관의 회전 속도(1500rpm)가 일정인 경우 물의 첨가량(체적비, 0~20%)과 기관의 부하(BMEP,2.1~ 7.5kg/$\textrm{cm}^2$)변화에 따른 연소실내 압력, 압력상승률 및 열발생률, 착화지연 기간, 연료 소비율 등의 연소특성과 CO, HC, NOx 및 매연의 배출능도 등 유해 배출 가스에 미치는 영향에 관하여 실험적으로 구한 것이다.

  • This study investigated that grasped the present state of high-rise apartment on Urban Street color, through the color image estimation effect of primary factor on color image preference. The range of study were high-rise apartment on Urban Street color of land for housing, Sangmu, Woonnam, Shinchang, Pungam, Ilgok, Moonheung district. The method of study put out a model of reference after photography a spot colorimeter BIB test. And the data analyzing was factor analysis, multi regression through Semantic Differential Method, questionnaire. The result of study, the present state of color was used predominate, support color is YR, Y, and stress color is YR, R. Predominate color showed distribution of high luminosity, low freshness and assistance, stress color is middle luminosity, low freshness. And effects of primary factor on color image preference were 'unification', 'comfortableness', 'sophistication'. The result of this study showed that need high luminosity color for comfortableness to improve of high-rise apartment on Urban Street color, harmony of color, harmony of vertical horizontality color scheme pattern, consult square rate of stress color.

여러가지 열적 변수가 전폐형 유도전동기의 코일온도상승에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (The effects of various thermal parameters on coil temperature rise in TEFC induction motor)

  • At design stage of new motor or when taking remedial action of old motor, a lot of information can be obtained from thermal parameters analysis. This study focused on the temperature rise of TEFC induction motor with respect to various thermal parameters. Frame heat transfer had the most important effect on coil temperature rise. But those of air gap and rotor fan had no effect. This fact shows fan action is more important than fin action in the case of rotor fan. Coil temperature can be more decreased by cooling near the heat sources than any other parts from the results of thermal conductivity and loss tests. Variation of cooling air flow rate and motor volume effects on coil temperature were also tested. These tests suggest that improvement of cooling fan performance is important in reducing the coil temperature rise. Thermal equivalent program was verified by comparison of some experimental results.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze and evaluate the 3 types of indoor ventilation methods such as natural, mechanical, and hybrid ventilation in high-rise building which is affected by stack effect and outdoor air pressure. For the evaluation of the ventilation capacity, CFD simulation was performed in a typical high-rise residential building. The results of the simulations are as follows: 1) Natural ventilation method is not enough to the regulation. 2) In case of mechanical ventilation, congested area is occurred but meets the regulation. 3) In case of hybrid ventilation with stack effect, all the areas of indoor meet the regulation and congested area is reduced. 4) In case of high-rise building, the differences of ventilation rate among houses in the building are not large because the mechanical ventilation is main factor.

  • In high speed $CO_2$ welding, it has been blown to produce no sound bead with undercut or humping bead. In this study welding phenomena through synchronized high speed camera and output welding voltage and current waveform has been analyzed. For the purpose to improve a welding bead, effect of short circuit current rise slope has been examined. With commercial power source it was produced no sound bead by instantaneous short circuit, long arc period and stubbing at welding speed 2.5mm/min Humping bead or undercut were showed by instantaneous short circuit and long arc period. Also, the weld bead was not formed during the long short circuit period after stubbing start and long arc extinguishment period after wire sticking by failure of arc regeneration, because the droplet was not transferred to weld pool. With increasing short circuit current rise slope the frequency of stubbing was decreased and the normal short circuit rate was increased. A control of short circuit current rise slope was effective factor in high speed welding.
