We have developed a Web-based intensity map generation system. We describe here briefly our system that is automatically generating seismic intensity map using the informations afforded by Internet users who actually experience recent earthquake. Whenever internet survey questionnaires, reported from the citizens using the form available through our Web site, are received, the associated ZIP code region is color-coded according to the Modified Mercalli Intensity Scale. As the number of questionnaires is increased, the intensity value of each region divided by ZIP code is averaged and updated automatically. The coverage of acceleration stations is insufficient to map the accurate extent of ground shaking in Korea. So our system will serve as an alternative for much more rapid generation of intensity map than conventional method, such as mailing intensity survey or elaborate manual processing.

Soft magnetic properties of Fe-based (Fe,Co)-B-Al-M (M=Nb, Mo or Ta) nanocrystalline alloy have been investigated. The alloy obtained directly form the rapid solidification process. Microstructure of the alloy is a mixtu re of ultrafine bcc Fe(Co) nanocrystallines and a small amount of retained amorphous phase. Heat treatment of as-prepared alloys improves soft magnetic properties in high frequency range. ${(Fe_{.85}Co_{.15})}_{70}B_{18}Al_{10}Ta_{6}$ alloy alloy annealed at $500^{\circ}C$ for 1 h shows the most improved soth magnetic properties among the alloy examined. Average grain size of the nanocystalline is about 10 nm.

Cemental tears are uncommon form of root fracture that can lead to rapid localized periodontal attachment loss. Studies have described periodontal breakdown as being associated with the separation of the cementum from the underlying tooth structure. The aim of this case report is to assess the outcome of treatment of cemental tear with several surgical treatment regimens. Three patients with cemental tear were treated with different surgical method. In all three cases, the cemental tear occurred on maxillary right central incisors. In each case, the root fragment were removed, the localized defect was treated using different surgical methods including guided tissue regeneration and bone graft followed by scaling and root planting. In all three cases, symptoms subsided after the treatment and clinical attachment level was improved up to 2 mm at 3 month after surgery. Both conventional and regenerative periodontal surgery could achieve successful outcomes.

Recombinant interferon alpha is widely used for the treatment of diseases including chronic hepatitis C. However. it has drawbacks such as relatively short serum half-life and rapid clearance like other therapeutic proteins. Using PFGylFltioo which is one of the well-established methods to fulfill the requirements of a long-lasting form of protein. wIe prepared mono-PEG modified interferon alpha-2a in which polyethylene glycol moiety was covalently attached to the amino groups of interfelon alpha-2a. Environmentally benign protein staining method in sodium dodecyl sulfate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE) using both an acidic dye, zincon (ZC) and a basic dye. ethyl violet (EV) is described. It is based on a counter ion-dye staining technique that employs oppositely charged two dyes to form an ion-pair complex. The selective binding of the free dye molecules to proteins in an acidic solution produces bluish violet colored bands. It is a rapid procedure, involving only fixin and staining steps that are completed in 45 min. (omitted)

Today, the use of digital equipment and platforms makes it possible to form the basis for the formation of competitive business advantages, minimize costs, and most importantly, respond in time to changes in both the internal and external environment..Thus, the main task of the study is to analyze the digital management system in a business environment. As a result of the study, current trends and prerequisites for digital management system in a business environment were investigated.

The purpose of this study is to develop an evaluation method for online design education. Online education has established itself as the primary form in the educational field, however, there are unsatisfactory response from instructors and students due to rapid conversion of online education. Due to the transition of educational method, online class contents have become optimized and online educational experiences became accumulated. However, clear education criteria is essential. This study states importance of two parts: establishing an evaluation system based on design thinking for online design education and finding appropriate online platforms for interaction between instructors and students. The research results provide implications for ensuring the efficiency of design education and are expected to contribute significantly to the future education field.

This work aims to describe pragmatic strategies and linguistic features of replies that occur in the comment section of online newspapers. The dominant media in this digital age is the Internet and its rapid development and expansion of use have contributed not only to the change of the form of production of journalistic texts, but also to the consumption of those texts. In the past, the news was transmitted in a unidirectional way but now readers of online newspapers do not remain passively reading the articles. They actively participate in the exchange of opinions with other readers. The individual consumption of journalistic texts has become a collective and social act. The purpose of the study is to investigate the communication intention of the users of comment sections and analyze the linguistic formulation of replies. We attempt to discover specific aspects of replies and responses for online newspaper articles, considering them as an independent type of Computer Mediated Communication (Internet Mediated Communication). Observing language attitudes appearing in the electronic environment and discovering the characteristics of the Spanish language on the Internet will allow us to contribute to understand the theoretical aspects related to the CMO better.

In vehicular edge computing (VEC) networks, the rapid expansion of intelligent transportation and the corresponding enormous numbers of tasks bring stringent requirements on timely task offloading. However, many tasks typically appear within a short period rather than arriving simultaneously, which makes it difficult to realize effective and efficient resource scheduling. In addition, some key information about tasks could be learned due to the regular data collection and uploading processes of sensors, which may contribute to developing effective offloading strategies. Thus, in this paper, we propose a model that considers the deterministic demand of multiple tasks. It is possible to generate effective resource reservations or early preparation decisions in offloading strategies if some feature information of the deterministic demand can be obtained in advance. We formulate our scenario as a 0-1 programming problem to minimize the average delay of tasks and transform it into a convex form. Finally, we proposed an efficient optimal offloading algorithm that uses the interior point method. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm has great advantages in optimizing offloading utility.

This study explores the concept of postmodernism in literature. There are many ideas which have conflicted with each other, but now postmodernism is real concept. We cannot deny. By researching papers of Jean-François Lyotard, Jean Baudrillard, Jacques Derrida, Michel Foucault, Julia Kristeva, Roland Barthes, Ihab Hassan etc. we find out many characteristics of postmodernism. From that, we propose a conceptual understanding of postmodern literature as follows: Starting from the late 1910s with the poetry of Dadaism (1916), Franz Kafka's prose (Metamorphosis 1915) and drama by Samuel Beckett (Waiting for Godot 1953), postmodern literature coexists with modern literature and is a thriving form from 1960 on. Postmodernism is opposed to modernism in nature in that it accepts nothingness, chaos, games and intertextuality. It tries to solve some difficult problems of modernism making use of science to free people from a life of darkness and dogma. Postmodernism is associated with the information technology revolution, an economic, scientific and technological boom and rapid urbanization.
