  • Cities in Indonesia include diverse scattered industrial centers comprising industries that can sustain the existing economic pace. For industrial data collection, the city government still relies on census that consumes extensive time and money. The public are unfamiliar with industries owing to their lack of industry information; therefore, the market share is not optimal. In addition, the opportunity to procure investors for business development is limited. A Geographic Information System (GIS) is a computer system that can record, store, write, analyze, and display geographical data. Using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method, GIS was developed on a website platform to provide information on industry profiles, types of production, investment values, industry maps, and industrial locations in each village and sub-district to a wider community. The RAD method was chosen compared to the waterfall method because it could accelerate website development process.

  • In this paper, Integrated development environments interface was designed and implemented for the integrated development environments. By using connection interface, Integration between physical prototyping and virtual prototyping which has different characteristics each other could be possible. Specially, good performance of the connection interface was showed by testing result of operation implemented.

  • Nowadays, as the development period of new products becomes shorter and consumer's requirement is more various, the importance of Rapid Protytyping Technology has been rapidly increased. Rapid Protytyping makes protytypes or functional parts directly using the 3D CAD data. But RP machines can make protytype in limit size. But RP machines can make protytype in limit size. For making large size protytype, we slice solid, which is made of STL file, and then glue sliced solid. This paper is concerned with slicing solid on STL file.

  • The purpose of this study is the development of the extensive Rapid Prototyping Technique, which can resolve the long-term manufacturing process, shrinkage and deformation occurring rapid prototyping technique. To begin with, the various specimens for tensile and bending test were manufactured on the basis of this modeling technology. Then, many kinds of the laminate pieces for the test were made by using the sheet steels 1 mm and 2 mm thickness which is composed of the same ingredient. Not only the mechanical strength of the both of the laminate specimens by the developed Rapid Prototyping using projection welding and non-laminate specimens of 5 mm thickness were evaluated, but the mechanical strength of the specimens of the tensile and bending test composed of heterogeneous components were also estimated.

  • The objective of this research works is to propose a rapid development methodology of small size deep drawing tools for electronic parts utilizing the technology combination of CAE and RP/RT. The technology is applied to the development of deep drawing tools with a drain shape. The final surface of tools is obtained from the evaluation of the formability using the CAE. In order to manufacture the physical prototype of tools fer try-out terming, several fabrication experiments are carried out for three types of rapid tool manufacturing technology. Through the fabrication experiments, the acceptable rapid manufacturing technologies of deep drawing tools with a small size have been proposed.
