Study on the Apparel Advertising Strategy and Popular Music Singer. From the 1990s popular musics begin to reflect modern fashion. Especially those dance musics such as Rap or Reggae captivate teenagers through the mass media. So middle-low price causal cloth-ing companies hire the most popular singers as their role model. this marketing strategy succeeds to increas their sales and now many companies compete to engage famous singers,. in western countries where the music and the fashion have interacted for some times famouse singers express their personalities through the clothes they wear. The consumers try to imitate them by puchasing smiliar clothsing. And it makes the apparel company to produce more goods. However if those companies continue to be shiortsighted in terms of increasing sales in the shortrun with out their personality and differentiation brand concept. they will only instigate the teenager's consumptionand they'll fail to create their own fashion-style.

랩 음악은 음악의 특성과 발화 언어의 특성을 가지고 있으며 음악적 특징을 가진 시와도 공통점을 가진다. 이러한 유사성을 근거로 Eminem이라는 랩 가수의 freestyle음악을 음성분석 프로그램을 사용하여 분석하였다. 대상 음악이 즉석적인 발화였음에도 불구하고 각운 부분에서의 피치(pitch)와 리듬은 매우 유사한 값을 보였다. 분석 결과에서 보여준 약간의 차이 값은 인간의 지각 능력과 성향을 고려하여 봤을 때 같은 피치(pitch) 같은 리듬으로 지각하기에 충분하다고 결론 내렸다.

본 연구는 새로운 연구 주제인 대중가요 가사에 한국인의 문화성향 변화가 반영되어 있는지와 개인의 문화성향이 선호하는 대중음악 장르와 관련이 있는지를 알아보았다. 연구 1에서는 1980년부터 2018년까지의 대중음악 가사를 내용분석하여, 대중음악 가사를 통해 시간의 흐름에 따른 한국인들의 문화성향 변화를 포착할 수 있는지 살펴보았다. 그 결과, 곡의 발매연대가 2010년대에 가까워질수록 대중음악 가사에 개인주의 문화권의 이상적 정서가 집단주의 문화권의 이상적 정서보다 더 자주 표현된 것으로 나타났는데, 이러한 결과는 시간이 흐를수록 한국인이 점차 개인주의화되었을 가능성을 시사한다. 연구 2에서는 개인의 문화성향과 선호하는 대중음악 장르 및 사용하는 음악기능이 어떠한 관련성을 가지는지 살펴보았다. 그 결과, 집단주의 성향을 많이 지닌 사람들은 발라드와 랩/힙합과 같은 중·저각성 음악을 선호하는 동시에 록/메탈과 같은 고각성 음악을 덜 선호하는 결과가 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 집단주의 성향을 지닌 사람들이 각성 수준이 높은 것보다는 낮은 것을 선호할 것이라는 가설과 일정 부분 일치한다. 또한, 음악의 개인적, 사회적, 문화적 기능 중 사회적 기능이 집단주의 성향과 가장 큰 정적 상관관계를 보였는데, 이러한 결과는 집단주의 성향의 사람들이 타인과 좋은 관계를 유지하기 위하여 음악을 사용하기 때문에 나타난 것으로 해석할 수 있다. 본 연구는 문화성향과 대중음악에 대한 선호라는 독특한 주제를 내용분석과 조사연구를 통하여 알아보았다는 데 의의가 있다. 마지막으로, 논의에는 연구의 한계점과 결과의 활용방안을 제시하였다

Most of precedent studies related to hip hop culture and fashion, which have been conducted till now were progressed under only theoretical background of hiphop, not the changed status of hiphop currently. Practical studies explaining the status of hip hop in popular culture, especially, the area of popular fashion are insufficient. Therefore, this study was conducted by focusing on cultural characteristics and musical characteristics by the stream of period, for which concept hip hop is accepted to people currently and which effect it makes on the area of fashion. Especially, the study was progressed by dividing periodical background into before and after the 2000s because there was the most noticeable change for the genre of hip hop in that period. Because of the appearance of 'Alternative hip hop' which is a sub-genre of hip hop music, hip hop music was changed to be more popular. Also, hip hop fashion also showed big changes. Hip hop fashion before 2000s had showed poor conditions, resistance, complex and alienation of them by their fashion. On the other hand, hip hop fashion after 2000s also showed popular characteristics because of high-level environment and social status. This study intended to understand and grasp hip hop as a kind of cultural situation coexisted by many-sided characteristics as well as redefine the changed concept and contents of new hip hop currently.

The purpose of this research is to examine track suits which appear in mass media and to attempt to understand their embedded symbolism. Hence, a theoretical inquiry and case study on suit tracks were carried out. The case study was confined to the period since 2000, when sportswear emerged as a megatrend in fashion, to 2012. Occurrences of track suits in film, TV dramas, music videos, advertisements, and fashion collections were examined. Research indicated that the track suits in film or TV drama worked as items to give a change to coordination, material and decoration, so that the track suits highlighted the characters in them rather than emphasizing external factors or their own design. They were used as tools to indicate the sensual and dynamical feminine image in the rap and hip hop genres in music video. They also showed the dynamic image of modern woman via advertisements of sports brands. In the case of celebrity fashion, both inside and outside Korea, they introduced the track suits in a comfortable and sensual manner through both official and unofficial image releases. In the fashion collections, transboundary deconstructiveness was strongly expressed in terms of design, material, color, and production method. The case study in this research indicated that the symbolism in track suits was characterized as transboundary deconstruction as well as value in dynamic femininity, and products from reactionary nostalgia.

랩 음악은 장르 특성상 곡에서 가사의 중요성이 매우 크고, 가사 전달을 리듬 중심으로 하기 때문에 가사의 리듬, 운율이 부각된다. 랩 음악 가사의 내용과 운율에 대해 살펴보기 위해 지난 10년간 랩 음악 장르에서 전 세계적으로 가장 큰 인기를 얻고 있는 작사가 겸 가수Drake 와 Lil Wayne 의 곡 23곡을 선정하여 그 내용과 가사 운율을 살펴본다. 내용은 공통적으로 과시를 가장 많이 사용하였으며, 사랑, 유흥 등의 가사에서는 두 작사가의 차이를 보였다. 운율은 두 작사가 모두 규칙적 운율을 주로 사용하였으며, 그 안에 여러 가지 방법을 통해 불규칙성을 더했고, 그 방법을 사용하는 빈도가 다름으로서 운율 사용방식의 차이점을 보였다.

Black street style has made unique fashion in popular music such as Jazz, Soul, Rhythm Il Blues. Reggae, and Rap, and it is counterculture and subculture against white. Furthermore, the black street style has played a starring role in the development of white culture as well as black culture, which emerged in direct opposition to the dominant cultures practised by a fraction of fellow countrymen within the black diaspora. The objectives of this study are to examine the social chronology of the black street style and the contemporary fashion, and the influences of the black street style on white culture. The seeds of black's style were sown in the late forties, developing throughout the fifties with the arrival of black immigrants from the west Indies and its examples were zooties, hip cats 8l hipsters, modernists. Rude boy & two-tone was anti·fashion style in sixties and then rastafarians continued in seventies costume is used to convey an essential symbolic class and ethnic message. The latest black's street fashion is hip-hop dress, which is pluralistic and electric, and funk is also erratic. During its ten-year reign as an international style, it has undergone numerous shifts because it is decline of racism B-boy & flygirls toraggamuffins & bhangra style to acid Jazz. These have played a crucial part in influencing the gigh fashion and avant-grade fashion designers' work. Today's street fashion has characteristics of postmodern culture without a racism in global village. Moreover, pop music stars take an effect on the street style continuously. With the opening of a new century, the study of the street style will overcast popular fashion and suggest the direction of fashion design.

Indeterminancy is one of the thought systems which explains all things with not 'either-or' but 'both-and' the conditions and qualities of human identities and inner state. A view of the world of Dionisos of Nietzsche's and the character of Manneristic trend which has resolved the sense of alienation of men by paradoxic expression has succeeded to romanticism surrealism and postmodernism. 1. Cross-dressing has increased under contemporary conditions. There also have been various cross-dressing phenomena in the past but it appears strongly now that it would destroy the cultural stereotypes and give rise to the cultural insecurities in contemporary conditions. 2. The indeterminancy of status that is wealth versus poverty impacts on variations of contemporary dress. This has been represented by neglecting traditional code which is related to wealth in costume by conversion of the symbols of wealth and poverty as disguise with moderation simplicity and additionally poverty image instead of ostentation. 3. In the cultural aspect that is mother culture/ subculture the author has investigated black street fashion which has newly become visible. The black street fashion is wide spread in black popular music such as jazz Rhythm & Blues Reggae and Rap which is subculture against white. The external values of indeterminancy in fashion are n대-manneristic tendencies as deformation eclectic friction and irrational structure and graffiti method. The inner values by indeterminant expression in fashion are irony and paradox grotesque satire and amusement.

This study aims to gain a deeper understanding of the fashion styles of underground rappers in China and South Korea. Due to rappers' fashion influence on modern fashion trends, research on rapper fashion has been conducted steadily in the field of apparel. Qualitative research methodologies including literature research and in-depth interviews were the primary techniques used to solve the research questions. In-depth interviews were conducted with 10 Chinese underground rappers and 10 Korean underground rappers to reveal and explore their fashion style and view of fashion. As a result, the participants' fashion styles were categorized into four styles: authentic hip-hop fashion style, popularized hip-hop fashion style, easy sports casual style, and trendy street style. Rappers from both countries consider that their identity as rappers can be demonstrated through their hip-hop fashion style. The influence of hip-hop culture and the popularity of rap music differs between China and Korea. It affects not only the rapper's musical characteristics, but also their fashion style. While Korean underground rappers' fashions style is trendier, Chinese underground rappers' fashions style displays stronger characteristics of hip-hop fashion. Due to the public's negative view of rappers, some Korean underground rappers intentionally try to hide their identity by wearing a fashion style that differs from the authentic rapper image. Understanding the fashion styles of underground rappers in Korea and China is expected to assist in predicting future hip-hop culture and rapper fashion trends.

본 연구는 현대 뮤지컬 양식에 나타난 다양한 음악 장르를 시연하기 위해, 대표적인 뮤지컬 노래 장르를 선택하고 노래를 위한 발성스케일의 적용을 제시하였다. 뮤지컬 음악 장르는 뮤지컬 양식의 변화에 따라 1900년대 초반을 뮤지컬 초기, 1940-1960년대를 뮤지컬 중기, 또는 뮤지컬의 황금기, 1970년대 이후를 현대 뮤지컬로 나위면서 다양하게 등장한다. 뮤지컬 양식사의 변화에 따라 음악이 장르와 노래의 창법도 다변화 되었다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 대단위 분류로써 뮤지컬의 대표적인 장르로 <클래식 브로드웨이(Classic Broadway), 컨템퍼러리 브로드웨이(Contemporary Broadway), 재즈/블루스(Jazz/Blues), 팝/록(Pop/Rock)>을 선정하고, 소단위 분류로써 음악 장르를 대표할 수 있는 작품 5개와 대표 노래 5개를 선정하였다. 각 음악 장르를 대표하는 노래를 창법은 크게 <오페라의 유령>의 레짓, <인어공주>의 팝, <지저스 크라이스트 수퍼스타>의 락, <헤어스프레이>의 재즈/블루스, <해밀턴>의 힙합과 랩으로 나누어 발성 스케일을 제시하였다. 연구의 분석을 통해 뮤지컬 역사에 나타난 시대적 요구에 따라 다양한 음악이 뮤지컬의 재료로 사용되었으며, 이에 따라 다양한 창법이 필요하다는 것을 확인 할 수 있었다. 본 연구에서는 대표적인 5장르와 5작품을 선정하여 분석의 범위를 제한하였지만, 후속 연구를 통해 확대하고자 한다. 향후 이를 바탕으로 뮤지컬 보컬 교육의 다양성과 발성법을 연구하는 다각적인 후속 연구가 이루어지길 기대한다.
