Analyzing empirical performance of correlation based feature selection with company credit rank score dataset - Emphasis on KOSPI manufacturing companies -

  • This paper is about applying efficient data mining method which improves the score calculation and proper building performance of credit ranking score system. The main idea of this data mining technique is accomplishing such objectives by applying Correlation based Feature Selection which could also be used to verify the properness of existing rank scores quickly. This study selected 2047 manufacturing companies on KOSPI market during the period of 2009 to 2013, which have their own credit rank scores given by NICE information service agency. Regarding the relevant financial variables, total 80 variables were collected from KIS-Value and DART (Data Analysis, Retrieval and Transfer System). If correlation based feature selection could select more important variables, then required information and cost would be reduced significantly. Through analysis, this study show that the proposed correlation based feature selection method improves selection and classification process of credit rank system so that the accuracy and credibility would be increased while the cost for building system would be decreased.

  • This paper proposes the algorithm to solve emergency service restoration problems using efficient reconfiguration method in distribution system. In this algorithm, we try to avoid the blackout of important loads by considering service rank. It is possible to reconfigurate the system by using fuzzy inference results in which was reflected the expected distribution power, line capacity and service rank. A 27-bus, 32-branch model system is used to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.

A study of the Nursing Interventions performed by the ICU nurses to the patients with Cerebrovascular disorders (중환자실 뇌혈관질환자에게 수행된 간호중재분석)

  • The purpose of this study was to analysis of nursing interventions performed by the ICU nurses to the patients with cerebrovascular disorder practically from one university hospital in Seoul. The data were collected from 15 nurses with 86 cerebrovascular disorder cases from one ICU with the questionaire to write frequency of nursing care done by the surveyee from May, 2, 2000 to July, 3, 2000 and the list of 66 nursing interventions selected out of 433 NIC(Nursing Interventions Classification) of Iowa University which were translated into Korean (44 items) and core nursing interventions by ICU nurses (22 items; KIm, Su-Jin, 1997). The data were analysed with SPSS program. The results are as follow : 1. The most frequently used nursing interventions were vital sign monitoring, fall prevention, cerebral edema management, dysreflexia management, neurologic monitoring, cardiac care, communication enhancement, technology management, bed rest care, respiratory monitoring in rank. 2. The most frequently used nursing intervention domains were 'Physiological : Complex', 'Physiological : basic', 'Behavior', 'Safty', 'Health system' in rank. In the domain of physiological : basic, the most frequently used nursing interventions were bed rest care, urinary elimination management, tube care : urinary, physical restraints in rank. In the domain of physiological : complex, the most frequently used nursing interventions were cerebral edema management, dysreflexia management, neurologic monitoring, cardiac care in rank. In the domain of behavior, the most frequently used nursing interventions were communication enhancement, touch, active listening in rank. In the domain of safty, the most frequently used nursing interventions were vital sign monitoring, fall prevention in rank. In the domain of health system, the most frequently used nursing interventions were technology management, specimen management in rank. 3. some difference of the frequency practicing the nursing interventions according to the shift of duties was found. For example, medication administration was common at day duty, touch was practiced at evening duty, temperature regulation was performed.

  • The reactive web service provides a related word recommendation system using the TextRank algorithm and a word-based idea generation service selected by the user. In the related word recommendation system, the method of weighting each word using the TextRank algorithm and the probability output method using SoftMax are discussed. The idea generation service discusses the idea generation method and the artificial intelligence reinforce-learning method using mini-GPT. The reactive web discusses the linkage process between React, Spring Boot, and Flask, and describes the overall operation method. When the user enters the desired topic, it provides the associated word. The user constructs a mind map by selecting a related word or adding a desired word. When a user selects a word to combine from a constructed mind-map, it provides newly generated ideas and related patents. This web service can share generated ideas with other users, and improves artificial intelligence by receiving user feedback as a horoscope.

Development of An Automatic Incident Detection Model Using Wilcoxon Rank Sum Test (Wilcoxon Rank Sum Test 기법을 이용한 자동돌발상황검지 모형 개발)

  • 본 연구는 Wilcoxon Rank Sum Test 기법을 이용한 자동 돌발상황 검지 모형을 개발하는 것이다. 본 연구의 수행을 위하여 고속도로에 설치된 루프 차량 검지기(Loop Vehicle Detection System)에서 수집된 점유율 데이터를 사용하였다. 기존의 검지모형은 산정하기가 까다로운 임계치에 의하여 돌발상황을 검지하는 방식이었다. 반면 본 연구 모델은 위치와 시간대 교통 패턴에 관계없이 모형을 일정하게 적용하며, 지속적으로 돌발상황 지점과 상·하류의 교통패턴을 비교 검정 기법인 Wilcoxon Rank Sum Test 기법을 사용하여 돌발상황 검지를 수행하도록 하였다. 연구모형의 검증을 위한 테스트 결과 시간과 위치에 관계없이 정확하고 빠른 검지시간(돌발 상황 발생 후 2∼3분)을 가짐을 알 수 있었다. 또한 기존의 모형인 APID, DES, DELOS모형과 비교검증을 위하여 검지율 및 오보율 테스트를 수행한 결과 향상된 검지 능력(검지율 : 89.01%, 오보율 : 0.97%)을 나타남을 알 수 있었다. 그러나 압축파와 같은 유사 돌발상황이 발생되면 제대로 검지를 하지 못하는 단점을 가지고 있으며 향후 이에 대한 연구가 추가된다면 더욱 신뢰성 있는 검지모형으로 발전할 것이다.

Rank-level Fusion Method That Improves Recognition Rate by Using Correlation Coefficient (상관계수를 이용하여 인식률을 향상시킨 rank-level fusion 방법)

  • Currently, most biometrics system authenticates users by using single biometric information. This method has many problems such as noise problem, sensitivity to data, spoofing, a limitation of recognition rate. One method to solve this problems is to use multi biometric information. The multi biometric authentication system performs information fusion for each biometric information to generate new information, and then uses the new information to authenticate the user. Among information fusion methods, a score-level fusion method is widely used. However, there is a problem that a normalization operation is required, and even if data is same, the recognition rate varies depending on the normalization method. A rank-level fusion method that does not require normalization is proposed. However, a existing rank-level fusion methods have lower recognition rate than score-level fusion methods. To solve this problem, we propose a rank-level fusion method with higher recognition rate than a score-level fusion method using correlation coefficient. The experiment compares recognition rate of a existing rank-level fusion methods with the recognition rate of proposed method using iris information(CASIA V3) and face information(FERET V1). We also compare with score-level fusion methods. As a result, the recognition rate improve from about 0.3% to 3.3%.

  • This paper proposes a new approach of balanced model reduction using matrix pencil. The algorithm presented in this paper is to convert full-rank high-order system into rank-deficient system using perturbation made by matrix pencil method. Then the system can be truncated to a low-order system that we want via balanced realization. We discuss the comparison with other methods and the various observations by simulations.

  • Researches about an evaluation system for military officers have been studied because it is one of the most important elements for managing units and improving combat power. This paper proposes an evaluation system that enhance justice of evaluation, accomplish a distintion among evaluating elements and improve synergy effects between higher level officers and lower level officers. The evaluation system in this study not only suggests evaluating items and methods but also determines the final evaluation ranking among the evaluated that have their own evaluation criteria, items and duties using the median rank method used in statistics.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the costumes of the ruling class in the Asuka-Nara Period by looking at the change in the clothing law of the era. During the Asuka-Nara period, various cultures such as Buddhism, architecture, sculpture, paintings, music, and so on were introduced through vigorous exchange with Chosun and Tang. Contrary to the primitive-Kohun Period, the regulation about costumes was enacted as law in the Asuka-Nara Period this fact tells us that there was high interest in clothing. Frequent reorganization of clothing law had to do with the rank system of Japan as well as with the exchange with other countries. The clothing law of Asuka-Nara Period was mostly consisted of the regulations about costumes of the ruling class including the royal family and government officials. The law regulated different coronet and color for the clothing depending on the different rank of the government officials. The more classified the rank was, the more varied color was used. In addition, there was a variety in the costumes system; 2 piece clothing of the Kohun Period was continuously used while new types of clothing were also introduced. The royal family members and government officials wore different types of clothing such as Yebok, Jobok, and Jebok, depending on time, place, or the purpose of occasion. The costumes of this period could be inferred from the analysis of the relics.

Hybrid Method of Max-Min Ant System and Rank-based Ant System for Optimal Design of Location Management in Wireless Network (무선통신네트워크에서 위치관리 최적설계를 위한 최대-최소개미시스템과 랭크개미시스템의 혼합 방법)

  • The assignment of cells to reporting or non-reporting cells is an NP-hard problem having an exponential complexity in the Reporting Cell Location Management (RCLM) system. Frequent location update may result in degradation of quality of service due to interference. Miss on the location of a mobile terminal will necessitate a search operation on the network when a call comes in. The number of reporting cells and which cell must be reporting cell should be determined to balance the registration (location update) and search (paging) operations to minimize the cost of RCLM system. T1is paper compares Max-Min ant system (MMAS), rank-based ant system (RAS) and hybrid method of MMAS and RAS that generally used to solve combinatorial optimization problems. Experimental results demonstrate that hybrid method of MMAS and RAS is an effective and competitive approach in fairly satisfactory results with respect to solution quality and execution time for the optimal design of location management system.
