Recently, digital image correlation (DIC) techniques have been used to measure dynamic deformation during tensile testing. The standard tensile test method measures the average displacement of the relevant specimen to calculate the true stress-strain curve. Therefore, the validity of the true stress curve is restricted to the stress incurred within the uniform stretching interval, i.e., the maximum stress corresponds to the starting point of the necking deformation. Alternatively, if DIC is used, the effective range of the strain and strain rate can be extended to the breaking point of the tensile specimen, because of the feasibility of measuring the local strain over the entire area of interest. Because of these advantages, many optical 3D measurement systems have been introduced and used in research and industry. However, the conventional 3D measurement systems are exceedingly expensive and time consuming. In addition, these systems have the disadvantage of a very large equipment size which makes their transport difficult. In this study, a 2D image correction method employing a 2D DIC measurement method in conjunction with a numerical analysis method is developed using a smartphone. The results of the proposed modified 2D DIC method yielded higher accuracy than that obtained via the 3D measurement equipment. In conclusion, it was demonstrated that the proposed 2D DIC and calibration methods yield accurate measurement results with low time costs.

With rapid development of science and technology and recent widening of mankind's range of activities, development of coastal waters and the environment have emerged as global issues. In relation to this, to allow more extensive analyses, the use of satellite images has been on the increase. This study aims at utilizing hyperspectral satellite images in determining the depth of coastal waters more efficiently. For this purpose, a partial image of the research subject was first extracted from an EO-1 Hyperion satellite image, and atmospheric and geometric corrections were made. Minimum noise fraction (MNF) transformation was then performed to compress the bands, and the band most suitable for analyzing the characteristics of the water body was selected. Within the chosen band, the diffuse attenuation coefficient Kd was determined. By deciding the end-member of pixels with pure spectral properties and conducting mapping based on the linear spectral unmixing method, the depth of water at the coastal area in question was ultimately determined. The research findings showed the calculated depth of water differed by an average of 1.2 m from that given on the digital sea map; the errors grew larger when the water to be measured was deeper. If accuracy in atmospheric correction, end-member determination, and Kd calculation is enhanced in the future, it will likely be possible to determine water depths more economically and efficiently.
An intertidal topography is continuously changed due to morphodynamics processes. Detection and measurement of topographic change for a tidal flat is important to make an integrated coastal area management plan as well as to carry out sedimentologic study. The objective of this study is to generate intertidal DEM using leveling data and waterlines extracted from optical and microwave remotely sensed data in a relatively short period. Waterline is defined as the border line between exposed tidal flat and water body. The contour of the terrain height in tidal flat is equivalent to the waterline. One can utilize satellite images to generate intertidal DEM over large areas. Extraction of the waterline in a SAR image is a difficult task to perform partly because of the presence of speckle and partly because of similarity between the signal returned from the sea surface and that from the exposed tidal flat surface or land. Waterlines in SAR intensity and coherence map can effectively be extracted with MSP-RoA edge detector. From multiple images obtained over a range of tide elevation, it is possible to build up a set of heighted waterline within intertidal zone, and then a gridded DEM can be interpolated. We have tested the proposed method over the Gomso Bay, and succeeded in generating intertidal DEM with relatively high accuracy.

Weight of evidence model was applied for potential mapping of mountainous wetland to reduce the range of the field survey and to increase the efficiency of operations because the surveys of mountainous wetland need a lot of time and money owing to inaccessibility and extensiveness. The relationship between mountainous wetland location and related factors is expressed as a probability by Weight of evidence model. For this, the spatial database consist of slope map, curvature map, vegetation index map, wetness index map, soil drainage rating map was constructed in Yeongnam area, Korea, and weights of evidence based on the relationship between mountainous wetland location and each factor rating were calculated. As a result of correlation analysis between mountainous wetland location and each factors rating using likelihood ratio values, the probability of mountainous wetlands were increased at condition of lower slope, lower curvature, lower vegetation index value, lower wetness value, moderate soil drainage rating. Mountainous Wetland Potential Index(MWPI) was calculated by summation of the likelihood ratio and mountainous wetland potential map was constucted from GIS integration. The mountain wetland potential map was verified by comparison with the known mountainous wetland locations. The result showed the 75.48% in prediction accuracy.

This study was conducted to develop a simultaneous analysis method for ferulic acid, caffeic acid, catechin and taxifolin from Health Functional Food (HFF) Pinus Pinaster bark extract. The simultaneous analytical method for ferulic acid, caffeic acid, catechin and taxifolin is carried out using UPLC-MS/MS. The method validation was performed to determine selectivity, linearity, accuracy, limit of detection (LOD), limit of quantification (LOQ) and precision for ferulic acid, caffeic acid, catechin and taxifolin. LC-MS/MS method was established using an Acquity UPLC BEH $C_{18}$ Column and was applied for these 4 compounds. Product-ion traces, at m/z $194.2{\rightarrow}133$, $180.2{\rightarrow}135$, $290.3{\rightarrow}245$, $304.3{\rightarrow}248$, were used for quantitative analysis of ferulic acid, caffeic acid, catechin and taxifolin, respectively. Excellent linearity ($r^2=0.999$) was observed for ferulic acid, caffeic acid, catechin and taxifolin in the concentration range (50-2500 mg/L). The observed recoveries of these 4 compounds were found to be between 84.9 and 104.9%, while precision was between 1.20 and 4.43% relative standard deviation (% RSD).
As the frequency of drought increases due to climate change, it is very important to have a monitoring system that can accurately determine the situation of widespread drought. However, while ground-based meteorological data has limitations in identifying all the complex droughts in Korea, satellite remote sensing data can be effectively used to identify the spatial characteristics of drought in a wide range of regions and to detect drought. This study attempted to analyze the possibility of using remote sensing data for drought identification in South Korea. In order to monitor various aspects of drought, remote sensing and ground observation data of precipitation and potential evapotranspiration, which are major variables affecting drought, were collected. The evaluation of the applicability of remote sensing data was conducted focusing on the comparison with the observation data. First, to evaluate the applicability and accuracy of remote sensing data, the correlations with observation data were analyzed, and drought indices of various aspects were calculated using precipitation and potential evapotranspiration for meteorological drought monitoring. Then, to evaluate the drought monitoring ability of remote sensing data, the drought reproducibility of the past was confirmed using the drought index. Finally, a high-resolution drought map using remote sensing data was prepared to evaluate the possibility of using remote sensing data for actual drought in South Korea. Through the application of remote sensing data, it was judged that it would be possible to identify and understand various drought conditions occurring in all regions of South Korea, including unmeasured watersheds in the future.
To protect tangible and intangible assets, most of the companies are conducting information protection monitoring by using various security equipment in the IT service network. As the security equipment that needs to be protected increases in the process of upgrading and expanding the service network, it is difficult to monitor the possible exposure to the attack for the entire service network. As a countermeasure to this, various studies have been conducted to detect external attacks and illegal communication of equipment, but studies on effective monitoring of the open service ports and construction of illegal communication monitoring system for large-scale service networks are insufficient. In this study, we propose a framework that can monitor information leakage and illegal communication attempts in a wide range of service networks without large-scale investment by analyzing 'Netflow statistical information' of backbone network equipment, which is the gateway to the entire data flow of the IT service network. By using machine learning algorithms to the Netfllow data, we could obtain the high classification accuracy of 94% in identifying whether the Telnet service port of operating equipment is open or not, and we could track the illegal communication of the damaged equipment by using the illegal communication history of the damaged equipment.
Portal Dosimetry was verified using EPID to secure the clinical application and reliability of the existing research dose evaluation. The dose distribution of Geant4 was compared with the measured value by 360° rotational irradiation with a 2.5 cm cone for stereotactic brain surgery. To confirm the dose distribution of patients with brain metastasis, the dose distribution investigated by inserting a Gafchromic EBT film into the parietal phantom and the dose distribution obtained from the parietal phantom using VMAT are compared and applied to actual patients. As a result of the analysis, it was confirmed that the accuracy of the beam center and the center of the couch coincide accurately with an error within 1mm as a result of QA through a pin ball. In addition, it was confirmed that the EBT3 film has excellent linearity in the range of 0 to 10 Gy according to various dose irradiation. In the same setting as the two cervical phantoms, we confirm that the implementation and simulation results calculations of dose calculations based on Geant4 using photon beams match the experimental data within the treatment planning volume (PTV). Therefore, volume modulated arc treatment (VMAT) 360° rotational irradiation was performed, and the result of iso-dose distribution analysis by rotational irradiation confirmed that it is appropriate to include a virtual tumor.
In this study, a new empirical formula for 2D transverse dispersion coefficient was developed using the results of previous tracer test studies, and the performance of the formula was evaluated. Since many tracer test studies have been conducted under the conditions where the width-to-depth ratio is less than 50, the existing empirical formulas developed using these imbalanced tracer test results have limitations in applying to rivers with a width-to-depth ratio greater than 50. Therefore, in order to develop an empirical formula for transverse dispersion coefficient using the imbalanced tracer test data, the Synthetic Minority Oversampling TEchnique (SMOTE) was used to oversample new data representing the properties of the existing tracer test data. The hydraulic data and the transverse dispersion coefficients in conditions of width-to-depth ratio greater than 50 were oversampled using the SMOTE. The reliability of the oversampled data was evaluated using the ROC (Receiver Operating Characteristic) curve. The empirical formula of transverse dispersion coefficient was developed including the oversampled data, and the performance of the results were compared with the empirical formulas suggested in previous studies using R2. From the comparison results, the value of R2 was 0.81 for the range of W/H < 50 and 0.92 for 50 < W/H, which were improved accuracy compared to the previous studies.
Recently, distribution of record via web and coefficient of utilization are increase. so, Archival information service using website becomes essential part of record center. The main point of archival information service by website is making record information retrieval easy. It has need of matching user's request and representation of record resources correctly to making archival information retrieval easy. Archivist and record manager have used various information representation tools from taxonomy to recent thesaurus, still, the accuracy of information retrieval has not solved. This study constructed record retrieval system based on Topic Map by modeling record resources which focusing on description metadata of the records to improve this problem. The target user of the system is general web users and its range is limited to the president related sources in the National Archives Portal Service. The procedure is as follows; 1) Design an ontology model for archival information service based on topic map which focusing on description metadata of the records. 2) Buildpractical record retrieval system with topic map that received information source list, which extracted from the National Archives Portal Service, by editor. 3) Check and assess features of record retrieval system based on topic map through user interface. Through the practice, relevance navigation to other record sources by semantic inference of description metadata is confirmed. And also, records could be built up as knowledge with result of scattered archival sources.
