시스템엔지니어링 표준(EIA632)에 의한 틸팅열차 시스템 사양서 개발 (The Express Tilting Train System Specification Development Using Systems Engineering Standard-EIA632)

  • The mission of tilting train development project is enhancing the speed of transportation of railway passenger using existing infrastructure. The threat of this project is the tilting technology is newly incorporated to this project. To overcome the threat this project incorporate systems engineering technology to development tilting train system. The systems engineering process, which was used in this project, was performed in accordance with systems engineering standard EIA632. This paper shows the systems engineering technology which was used to develop the tilting train system specification. This paper also shows the requirement template which was developed to communicate and synthesis various specialty engineering.

개인고속이동(Personal Rapid Transit) 시스템의 운전시격에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Headway of the Personal Rapid Transit System)

  • We deal with the headway which effects on the performance of the PRT(Personal Rapid Transit) system and the system safety. The headway, time between passage of one vehicle and the next, is one of the important factors to assess the line capacity, which has a cue to solve the problem of the congestion in public transportation. To decide the headway there are many important factors, especially such as the failure vehicle deceleration rate, the following simple analytical equation can be made to assess the relation between the line speed and the minimum headway. In this paper we employ a numerical analysis method using a simple analytical equations for the evaluation of the minimum headway and show simple simulation results.

  • Recently, so as to solve the urban transportation problem the LRT(Light Rail Transit) system has been studied on the essential technology and the engineering know-how, which lead lower construction cost and higher reliability. The localization development of rubber tired AGT(Automatic Guided Trainsit) system has performed from 1999 to 2004, as a national project of the Minister of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs. For the application of the rubber tired AGT system in Busan Subway 3-2 Line, this study is focused on the reliability of aluminium profiles vehicle carbody and the establishment of the test and evaluation technologies. In this paper, 3D modeling simulation was applied to the load test of aluminium vehicle carbody. The reliability of the vehicle carbody was estimated as the fatigue test of welded aluminium profiles. From the test and simulation results, it could be concluded that the developed rubber tired AGT shows a good structural reliability and integrity.

Multi-system vehicle formation control based on nearest neighbor trajectory optimization

  • In the present study, a novel optimization method in formation control of multi -system vehicles based on the trajectory of the nearest neighbor trajectory is presented. In this regard, the state equations of each vehicle and multisystem is derived and the optimization scheme based on minimizing the differences between actual positions and desired positions of the vehicles are conducted. This formation control is a position-based decentralized model. The trajectory of the nearest neighbor are optimized based on the current position and state of the vehicle. This approach aids the whole multi-agent system to be optimized on their trajectory. Furthermore, to overcome the cumulative errors and maintain stability in the network a semi-centralized scheme is designed for the purpose of checking vehicle position to its predefined trajectory. The model is implemented in Matlab software and the results for different initial state and different trajectory definition are presented. In addition, to avoid collision avoidance and maintain the distances between vehicles agents at a predefined desired distances. In this regard, a neural fuzzy network is defined to be utilized in conjunction with the control system to avoid collision between vehicles. The outcome reveals that the model has acceptable stability and accuracy.

  • To investigate the adequacy of maglev train system to future urban transport environments, first we derived minimum necessity requirements of the new-transit system by analyzing the issues in the urban transit management and new needs of transportation customers. Then the conformity of Maglev train to the requirements was examined. With respect to this adequacy analysis, policy directions and agenda of the making practical use of urban transit Maglev system' is proposed.

  • Malfunction or inappropriate management of ventilation system in public transportation may cause unpleasant atmosphere or health problems to the old or feeble passengers. In this work, adsorption/desorption system for gaseous carbon dioxide is developed and tested under the various indoor conditions. Finally an optimum design specification for the indoor $CO_2$ control will presented.

  • The subway in Seoul, Korea has been constructed and operating 8 lines and 265 subway stations since 1974. And now it' been operated in the metropolis like Busan, Daegu, Gwangju, Incheon. The subway system is being given a great deal of weight on the public transportation system. It means that the citizens of seoul are getting exposured to the underground environment more and more. As the quality of life is getting better, the desire for a pleasant(healthy) environment has been increased. so we have to study effective environment management plans for the subway, When considering Indoor air pollution as another serious environment problem.

  • High-speed railway is important transportation in the world because it is very comfortable, environmental benefits, energy savings, etc. The increase of demand for high-speed railway influence to develop of new hish-speed trains. Many countries introduced new high-speed train in the market. It meets to the market's needs. They adopt new technology and systems like that active suspension, synchronous permanent magnetic motor, distributed drive system, aero acoustics, etc. In Korea, the project for R&D of new high-speed train is launched last year. We need analysis of technical trend of new high-speed trains in the world. This paper presents a overview of technical trend of new high speed trains and what is key issues in development of high-speed train. It is very useful to develop a next generation high-speed train in Korea.

지하철 노선도 디자인의 구성요소 분석과 가이드라인 제안 (Design Elements & Guidelines of Route Maps for Underground Railways)

  • Serving a function of transportation information and geographic information together with proper composition of design elements, railway route maps have to be designed to easily recognized to the concerning passengers as they offer users to access to the guide information. This study analyzed visual aspects of the maps of 8 underground routes linking Seoul and urban cities(D1 - D8) and the maps of 8 different cities overseas (A1 - A8). As a source of information with condition of easy recognition, universality and aesthetics, route maps should be designed and consistently managed by the manual which establishes the principle of the logical system and the standardized form.

교통카드기반 수도권 도시철도 환승자료 구축방안 (Constructing Transfer Data in Seoul Metropolitan Urban Railway Using Transportation Card)

  • 수도권 통합대중교통요금제를 위해 생성되고 있는 교통카드자료는 수도권 도시철도의 환승시간 및 횟수정보를 제공하지 못하고 있다. 도시철도에는 환승게이트가 설치되어 있지 않아 노선간의 환승정보는 설문조사나 목측을 통한 거시적 추정으로 진행된다. 따라서 교통카드자료를 토대로 계산되는 수도권 대중교통의 환승시간 및 횟수는 과소평가되는 문제점을 내포한다. 환승자료의 정확한 추정을 위해서는 교통카드 태그가 이루어지는 진입 및 진출 게이트 사이에서 발생하는 통행경로에 대한 설명이 필요하다. 본 연구는 교통카드 단말기 태그자료를 기반으로 환승현황을 파악하기 위한 통행경로모형을 구축하고 수도권에서 발생하는 환승정보를 도출한다. 이를 위해 단말기 운영체계와 도시철도의 네트워크 특성을 일치시키기 위한 빅노드 개념을 도입한다. 또한 수도권 도시철도의 효과적 네트워크 구동을 위해 링크표지개념을 도입한다. 교통카드단말기의 행정구역정보를 토대로 시군구의 중죤, 서울-경기-인천의 대죤에서 발생하는 환승시간과 횟수를 도출한다. 2014년 일일 대중교통카드자료를 이용하여 전수화된 환승특성데이터를 구축하고 수도권 도시철도의 환승저항에 대한 통합적인 자료로서 활용가능성을 제시한다.
