도시형 자기부상열차의 전력특성 분석에 관한 연구 (A Study on Electric Power Supply Analysis of Urban MAGLEV Vehicle)

  • The main purpose of this study is to analysis of urban MAGLEV vehicle for the Incheon International Airport Maglev railway, in the process of construction at the moment, in Korea. For analysis of urban MAGLEV, we have measurement power a special quality of MAGLEV operating the center science museum in Deajeon. 1) The power property related to urban MAGLEV vehicle demand on the Incheon International Airport Maglev railway track and substation capacity compared to the result given. 2) The optimum design of substation is determined based on the analysis. 3) The equipments of substation are determined based on the analysis. The result of measurement performance, therefore, enables us to reflect the good property, to the power supply design. The result of research performance, therefore, enables us to reflect the Power Supply System design for the stabilized and economized MAGLEV operation.

  • The power consumption pattern of high-speed railway has rarely during night time. But, during service time, the power is consumed irregularly related to train operation. Especially certain unusual about 1-2 days of service time interval to indicate the power consumption is rapidly growing phenomenon, which causes the capacity of the power contract is the annual electricity bill to rise rapidly as the cause. Normally, amount of peak power consumption bill rate at railway substation is over 20% of total electrical bill. Therefore, high-speed railway substation is expected to be considerably larger savings by reducing the peak power of the default charge(demand power).

  • A control algorithm of thyristor dual converter power system is proposed in this study for a railway power substation. The thyristor dual converter can use regenerative power without an additional system using control algorithm. An autonomous voltage and mode change method is also proposed to provide uninterrupted power to the railway. A 10 kW reduced model of the thyristor dual converter power system is built and tested to verify the validity of the proposed control algorithm.

  • 본 논문은 고속전철 차량에서부터 변전소까지의 고조파에 대해서 분석하였으며, 수동필터를 이용한 고조파 저감 방법을 제시한다. 고속전철 변전소가 공급하는 열차구간에 있어서 운행 열차의 수에 따라 고조파의 파급 특성을 살펴보았다. 고조파는 변압기 과열과 통신유도장해 등 문제를 일으킬 수 있다. 이러한 고조파에 의한 손상을 줄이기 위하여 본 논문은 고조파 저감방법을 제시하였다. 제안된 방법은 PSCAD/EMTDC 시뮬레이션에 의해 증명되었다.

  • 본 논문에서는 전기철도 차량기지 변전소의 전력품질을 개선하기 위한 실시간 무효전력/역률 보상설비를 제안하였으며 실제 차량기지에 적용하기 위한 최적의 용량을 제시하였다. 이를 위하여 현재 상용화된 여러 종류의 실시간 무효전력/역률 보상설비를 소개하였고 이 중에 전기철도 차량기지 변전소의 부하 특성에 가장 적합한 보상설비인 SVG(Static Var Generator)를 제시하였다. 제시된 SVG는 PSIM을 사용하여 간이 모의 시스템으로 구현되었으며 이를 통한 기본적인 보상원리와 모의 결과를 기술하였다. 실제 차량기지에 적용하기 위한 최적의 용량 설계는 실제 측정된 차량기지 변전소의 전력품질 데이터를 기초로 설계되어 졌으며 보상효과 및 경제적인 측면이 고려된 용량으로 제시되었다. 최종적으로 전압형 인버터와 직류 커패시터로 구성된 실시간 무효전력/역률 보상설비를 통한 실제 전기철도 차량기지 변전소의 전력품질 개선에 대하여도 기술되었다.

  • In the electric railway systems, it is very important that we should design the system configuration, location and power capacity of substation. This paper presents the results of system configuration and system design of the DC traction power supply for the test line of Light Rail Vehicle. The voltage fluctuation of train and the power capacity of substation are calculated by computer simulation using the nodal equation, K.C.L/K.V.L, Ohm's law and superposition theory.

  • This paper evaluates economic benefits of ESS (Energy Storage System) for peak load shaving in the substation of urban railway. For this purpose, the method to determine capacities of ESS and PCS (Power Conditioning System) for peak load shaving is proposed. Then the economic benefits of those devices are evaluated using net present value method. The proposed methods are applied to actual measurements of loads in the substation of urban railway. The results show that electric power costs can be reduced and the economic benefits of ESS for peak load shaving mainly depends on the price of battery.

직류 도시철도 변전소 수요전력 예측 (Power Demand Forecasting in the DC Urban Railway Substation)

  • Power demand forecasting is an important factor of the peak management. This paper deals with the 15 minutes ahead load forecasting problem in a DC urban railway system. Since supplied power lines to trains are connected with parallel, the load characteristics are too complex and highly non-linear. The main idea of the proposed method for the 15 minutes ahead prediction is to use the daily load similarity accounting for the load nonlinearity. An Euclidean norm with weighted factors including loads of the neighbor substation is used for the similar load selection. The prediction value is determinated by the sum of the similar load and the correction value. The correction has applied the neural network model. The feasibility of the proposed method is exemplified through some simulations applied to the actual load data of Incheon subway system.

  • At present, one of the big characteristics in electric power market in korea is unique seller but in the near future competitions are expected in the market. so additional service for the electric power are expected. Also with development of IT technology, remote inspection for power usage are possible so as consumption pattern analysis. KORAIL is one of the biggest consumer in electric power market so it is necessary to investigate power consumption pattern. This paper presents electric load consumption pattern for representative substation like urban subway, high-speed train, industrial line and simulation program for electric power rate definition program based on billing system database. Base on the substation annual power usage DB data, the characteristic of the substation power consumption are investigated and effective electrical billing system are compared each other. Through this program it is verified that we can save more then several hundred million won for a year.

  • when electric traction system used DC 1500V runs on decline of rail road track and slows down, Dc voltage goes beyond regular voltage. In this case extra power is forcibly wasted by resister because rectifier of substation and electric train including power converter and so on are out of order. This paper described a DC electric railway system, which can generate the excessive DC power form DC bus line to AC source in substation for traction system. The proposed regeneration inverter system for DC traction can be used as both an inverter and an active power filter(APF). As a regeneration inverter mode, it can recycle regenerative energy caused by decelerating tractions and as an active power filter mode, it can compensate for harmonic distortion produced by the rectifier substation. In addition, electric traction system products harmonic current and voltage distortion and reactive power because power converter is used so regeneration inverter normally runs such as active power filter(APF) for improving power quality. From the viewpoint of both power capacity and switching losses, the system is designed on the basis of three phase PWM inverters and composed of parallel inverters, output transformers, and an LCL filter.
