This study suggests a new paradigm to build the identity of railway culture design, since it plays a critical role in enhancing competitiveness of culture and design. It is considered to be a valuable factor to improve users' satisfaction and to have a new effect on the railway industry. This study is focused on systematic study on the culture and design, conditions and competitiveness for railway culture design, that emphasizing on making necessary strategic scenarios accordingly. Consequently, it is going to make higher added values to secure a footing and advanced images of railway industry.

본 연구에서는 '2003년 산업연관표'를 사용하여 우리나라의 철도운송산업이 국내 운송산업 전체에서 차지하는 위상 및 철도운송산업과 여타산업의 관계적 특징에 대하여 살펴보았다. 그리고 산업연관분석 연구방법을 사용하여 국내 철도운송산업의 생산활동이 403개 여타 기본산업에 미치는 경제적 파급효과에 대해서 분석하였다.

With the development of IT industry and formation of web-based knowledge sharing platform, a variety of railway-related information services on the web have emerged, ranging from personal blogs to dedicated portal sites, as in the other sectors. These services are contributing to advancing railway industry after all. As far as it is concerned with specific areas such as railway sector, the internet users are hardly expected to avail satisfactory results in acquiring customized information from the access, as the information served varies on the intension of the web site operator or relevant agency, and indexing categories and sub-categories is not easy to work out in a straight manner. This study will review on the feasibility of standardizing categories and sub-categories for railway industry information on the web, and present optimum categorization and sub-categorization approach for the most satisfactory results when searched, ultimately aiming at laying a foundation to satisfy the wide spectrum of users' need for railway information.

Recently, fundamental innovation for the improvement of Korean railway industry is proceeding with the vertical separation into infrastructure and operation, and the privatization of railway operation. And also, with the advent of an era of high-speed railway, starting of Korea Train Express (KTX) will give a great change to circumstances of railway industry. It requires that a railway safety regulation policy and accident survey system cope effectively with this restructuring of railway system. Under these great changes, safety must have the first priority, and the function of management and supervision on railway safety will be ten to the governments responsibility; In this paper, according to changes of railway safety management system, foreign states railway accident system and direction of korea railroad accident survey system will be also introduced.

본 논문에서는 수직분리 및 수직통합의 경험이 함께 존재하는 유럽철도의 자료를 기존연구에서 사용된 바 없는 Simar and Wilson(2008)의 붓스트랩을 활용한 효율성에 관한 가설검정방법으로 분석하여 수직분리가 철도산업의 운영효율성과 어떤 관련성을 가지고 있는지를 밝혀보고자 하였다. 1998년부터 2005년까지의 20개 유럽국가의 자료를 분석한 결과 검정통계량의 관측값은 수직분리구조를 가진 국가의 철도산업이 수직통합구조를 가졌거나 또는 지주회사의 형태로 수직통합을 유지하고 있는 국가의 철도산업보다 상대적으로 운영효율성이 높게 타나났으나 그러한 차이가 통계적으로 뒷받침되지는 못하였다.

본 연구는 철도산업의 경쟁력과 투명성을 제고하기 위해 정부의 통제를 유발하는 철도규제에 대한 새로운 접근과 철도산업에 대한 정부의 역할을 재정립하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 철도관련규제를 규제개혁위원에서 적용하고 있는 경제적, 사회적, 행정적 규제로 분류하여 각 규제들의 운영방식에 따라 강제 및 통제와 유인, 사전적과 사후적으로 유형화하여 분석하였다. 철도관련규제개혁을 위한 과제로 경제적 규제에서 경쟁 제한적인 규제는 완화하고 사회적 규제는 안전을 담보하기 위한 합리적인 규제의 수준 설정이 필요하다. 또한 무엇보다도 철도산업에 많은 영향력을 행사하고 있는 정부의 기능 재정립을 통하여 철도산업의 활성화를 이루어야 할 것이다.

고속철도시스템 기술도입은 관련 철도산업을 발전시키고, 타 산업에 파급효과를 주어 철도기술을 동반 발전시켰다. 이에 고속철도시스템의 기술 도입시의 기술이전 및 국산화과정을 검토하고, 기술이전 및 국산화과정에서 나타난 문제점을 분석하였다 그리고 철도시스템 기술을 유지 및 확대하기 위하여 기술이전을 통한 철도산업발전방안이 검토되었다.

Life cycle assessment(LCA) has been developed from the concept of life cycle thinking. Life cycle thinking implies that everyone in the whole chain of a product's life cycle, from cradle to grave, has a responsibility and a role to play, taking into account all the relevant external effects. LCA is an analytical tool for identifying environmental loads and assessing the environmental impact in the whole chain of a product's life cycle. In Europe and Japan, LCA and ecodesign study for railway industry have been actively carried out recently. However, LCA for railway industry in domestic is still infant. LCA is standardized in International Organization of Standardization(ISO), base on the ISO 14040 standards, 307 life cycle inventory(LCI) database for infrastructure and base materials have been established in total since 1999. Some of LCI database can use in performing LCA for trains and railway infrastructure, but still not enough to derive accurate LCA result. Therefore, railway oriented LCA methodology and LCI DB are needed to be developed.

The purpose of this study is to analyze human safety culture of the railway driver in domestic railway industry. This study proposes safety culture improvement of domestic railway by intensively comparing railway safety system overseas to reinforce domestic railway safety. Domestic railways well known the well-organized railway safety culture has brought up safety issues on their process of private management. With this process, also, domestic safety culture is requested by increasing sense of the safety for general public. This study expects Korean railways to become a well-organized that as removing insecure factors of domestic railway based on result comparing and analyzing the manual, factors and requirements of guideline for internal and external safety culture.

자산은 기업의 재무상태와 경영성과산출에 있어서 매우 중요한 요소이다. 사회간접자본인 철도산업은 거대한 유형자산을 보유하고 운영에 막대한 자산관련비용이 발생하는 특징을 가지고 있으며 유동성과 수익성의 제고를 위하여 보다 적극적인 자산관리가 필요하다. 유형자산의 회계처리방법은 2011년부터 국제회계기준(IFRS)을 의무적으로 채택하면서 크게 변경됨으로써 자산관리에 큰 영향을 받게 되었으며 유형자산의 비중이 높은 철도산업에 있어 유형자산의 회계처리기준이 중요의사결정으로 대두되었다. 철도산업에 있어 새로이 채택한 유형자산회계기준의 영향을 분석하여 해결책을 제시하고 원가기획 및 원가관리의 효과적 수단으로 주목을 받고 있는 수명주기원가계산(LCC)를 효과적인 자산관리 수단으로 제시하고자 한다.
