경부고속철도의 표정속도 향상 가능성에 대한 고찰 (A Study on the Possiblity of Schedule Speed Improvement for Kyeongbu HSR)

  • The domestic railway has high speed trains as good as those of countries outside Korea, but the schedule speed in the domestic railway, which is calculated by dividing distance to destination by time, is lower than that of overseas trains. The object of this study is the necessity for the improvement of schedule speed in the Kyeongbu High speed railway. This study was conducted with analyzing foreign cases related to the improvement of schedule speed in order to satisfy the increasing traffic demand. The schedule speed against the high speed of railway advanced countries is over 65%, while it is about 50% in the domestic railway. In conclusion, This study confirmed that there are possibilities and plans about the improvement of schedule speed for using TPS analysis in the Kyeongbu High speed railway.

  • Railway schedule is periodically modified so that it could yield more profit by means of adjusting the schedule to demand. Most of related works are applicable under the given demand, but did not deal with dynamic relation between demand and schedule. To our knowledge, the methodology considering the relation is only the profitability evaluation model developed by SNCF. Our study suggests how to adjust the schedule to demand and therefore obtain more benefits using the profitability evaluation model.

건설시설물 공정정보 시각화를 위한 4D CAD시스템의 개발 및 적용사례 분석 (Development and Case Study of 4D CAD System for Visualizing Schedule Data of Construction Project)

  • Recently, various 4D CAD systems for visualizing construction schedule data are being developed. Specially, in case of railway project, the numerical information of progress data should be changed with visualized data by long construction section because the railway project consists of long length in construction site. This study suggests a case study of development of 4D CAD system for visualizing schedule information and the major functions of developed system are verified by railway project. The detailed application procedure of 4D CAD system including input data for a railway project is described in the study. The practical application of 4D CAD system can be improved in railway project by these demonstration researches.

  • 4D CAD에 의한 건설공사 공정관리시스템은 가상건설기법의 그래픽에 의한 계획일정위주 공정관리에 중점을 두고 있으므로 실제 현장상황의 판단에 의한 진도관리가 어려운부분이 있다. 본 연구는 4D CAD기반의 공정관리에 현장 웹카메라를 갖춘 Telepresence 기법을 이용한 원격현장 실시간 진도관리 모니터링체계를 연동하는 공정관기시스템 개발을 시도하고 있다. 개발된 시스템은 철도시설공사에 적용하여 활용성을 검증하였으며, 4D CAD에 의한 계획 공정현황과 웹카메라에 의한 실시간 실제현장 영상을 비교하여 시각적 진도관리를 가능하게 할 수 있다.

  • 2004년에 세계에서 5번째로 한국에서 고속철도를 운영하게 되었으며, 2011년 서울~부산간 전구간의 철도건설이 완공되어 고속철도가 운행되고 있다. 경부고속철도와 같은 대형국책사업에 있어 계획된 공기에 영향을 미치는 요소는 다양하였다. 국내에서는 처음으로 시행된 고속철도 건설사업으로서 본 사업과정상에 잦은 국가정책의 변경, 설계 및 시공상 사업관리의 어려움, 환경단체나 지역주민 등 이해관계자와의 갈등 등이 철도건설공기에 영향을 주는 주요 요소로 볼 수 있으며 경부고속철도를 통해 경험한 지연요소에 대한 종류, 문제점 등을 분석하여 향후 대형국책사업 등의 시행에 있어서 사업관리 및 추진의 효율성 향상에 기여하고자 한다. 특히, 사업단계에서부터 철저한 공기관리가 필요하며, 아울러 최근 중요시되는 환경문제 등에 관해서는 사업전반에 걸쳐 관리가 필요한 것으로 나타났다.

  • Given a schedule of train to be routed by a Railway Stock, Railway Stock Routing Problem determine a sequence of train while satisfying turnaround time and maintenance restrictions. The objective is to minimize the Railway Stock during a week and each day simultaneously. And we prove that Railway Stock Routing Problem with maintenance restrictions is NP-hard. In this paper, we present two stage approaches that solve the Railway Stock Routing Problem in a reasonable time. In first stage we relax maintenance restrictions and formulate as a Min-cost-flow problem. Then, in the second stage, we attempt to satisfy maintenance restrictions using ours heuristic algorithm. We show the computational result of applying to an actual train schedule data.

표정속도 향상에 따른 기술동향 연구 (A Study on Technology Trend according to Schedule Speed Improvement)

  • As a result of that the domestic railway technology has been progressed as times go by, the 1st and the 2nd steps for Gyeongbu HSR at the speed of more than 300km/h, were completed and Honam HSR - its operational speed is 350km/h - is under construction. Additionally, As a part of the expressization project for general lines, the Seoul-Chuncheon route at the speed of more than 180[km/h] is under construction and the Jeolla route is under design. At present, 11 countries (e.g. France, Germany, Belgium, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, England, Japan, China and Taiwan) including Korea have high speed railways operated at the speed of more than 300[km/h]. As shown in the above, the domestic railway has high speed trains as good as those of countries outside Korea, but the schedule speed, which is calculated by dividing distance to destination by time, is lower than that of overseas trains. For overseas railway, the ratio of schedule speed to the highest speed is above 65%, while that of domestic railways is over 50%. It shows a significant difference between them. It is expected that the schedule speed improvement will increase the number of train operation and line capacities than now, so it shall achieve smooth transportation flow and improve the passengers' satisfaction. In this paper we describe the necessity for the improvement of schedule speed, by analyzing foreign cases related to the improvement of schedule speed in order to satisfy the increasing traffic demand.

재작업과 불확실성을 고려한 일정 시뮬레이션 방법론 (A Method for Schedule Simulation Considering Rework and Uncertainty)

  • 대부분의 개발 프로젝트는 목표 비용과 일정을 $40{\sim}200%$ 초과한다. 이러한 초과 현상은 계획시 업무를 과소 평가하거나 재작업을 고려하지 않음으로써 발생한다. 현재 국내에서 사용되는 대표적인 일정 계획/관리 기법(Gantt Chart, PERT/CPM 등)들은 재작업을 반영할 수 없다. 이 논문은 일정 계획시 보다 현실적인 일정 계획 값을 예측하기 위해서 재작업을 고려하는 방법을 고안하구 또한 과업의 과소평가를 방지하기 위해 수행시간의 불확실성을 확률변수로 나타내어 다루기 위해서 시뮬레이션을 수행하여 최종 완료 날짜의 예상치와 분산도를 계산하는 방법을 제안한다.

단선구간 열차경합해소 문제를 위한 수리계획 모형의 기본설계 (An Exploratory Development of Mathematical Programming Model for the Railway Conflict Resolution Problem on a Single Line Track)

  • This paper is designed to help train dispatcher resolve railway conflicts in rent-time. We developed a mixed integer programming model to optimize the train schedule that determines the best overtaking or crossing positions, The objective of the model is to minimize the maximum lateness of the trains and reduce the total sum of the lateness, while satisfying the field constraints associated with the difference between passenger trains and freight trains, and the limited number of sidings. We applied the model on a portion of a single line track, Joong-Ang Line to ascertain the efficiency of the model, and showed how the model can be used to resolve the railway conflicts. The results indicates that our model can provide useful results in terms of optimal schedule for the test problem. This type of modeling approach would be useful for a train dispatcher to make a real-time railway conflict resolution.

열차공급계획의 수익성 분석에 관한 연구 (A study on profitability of train schedule planning)

  • In the train schedule plan corresponds to a master plan for transport services. This service plan must be constructed to minimize operational cost or maximize revenue considering transportation demands and resource capacities in the operation company, and it includes several sub-planning activities such as train operation frequency plan, train schedule plan, train capacity assignment plan, and rolling stock requirement plan. In this paper, we present profitability evaluation system for the current train schedule plan. The proposed system can be used for evaluating profitability by estimating train service revenue considering customer demands.
