TOD (Transit-Oriented Development)는 대중교통 중심의 복합기능을 가진 집약적인 도시구조이며, 미래지향형 지속가능한 도시를 유지하기 위해 제시되는 개념이다. 최근 도시철도 역사를 중심으로 복합 환승센터 개발이 활발히 추진되고 있으며, 사업의 규모와 복잡성으로 인해 보다 과학적이고 객관적인 분석을 통한 계획과 유지관리 등이 요구되고 있다. 이에 따라, 본 연구에서는 공간정보와 통합 스마트카드 자료를 활용하여 도시철도 역사 보행 기종점 추정을 위한, 표준화된 분석 절차를 개발하고자 하였으며, 삼성역 사례 분석을 통해 제시된 분석 절차 및 방법에 대한 검증을 수행하였다. 본 연구에서 제시된 분석 절차는 자료 수집 기술과 빅데이터 DB 분석 기법 발전에 따라 유기적 확장 가능한 분석 환경을 마련하였다는 데 큰 의의를 가진다.

This study is designed to provide a facilitation program of the railroad tourist business that the bicycle is connected with the railroad. The sustainable growth will be achieved thorough the green growth being able to coexist with environment. To deal with the transportation problems -the environmental pollution caused by a large number of cars and the energy depletion, the traffic congestion- in our society is the prerequisites for the green growth. There is the need focusing on the expansion of the green network and the policy implementation of utilizing the bicycle, the formulation of the social consensus for environmental preservation. This provides the opportunity that we create the customer values and reinforce the firm's competitiveness. This study is to propose the plan for accelerating the tourism business connected to the bicycle, and to contribute to the government policy, to boost the green image of the railroad. Approaching in the strategic way to increase the customer's value and environmental preservation, this study will contribute to providing high quality customer service for both of the business performance and the customer satisfaction.

This study analyzed changes of train operation between Seoul~Cheonan after the introduction of new electrified rail in 2005. As expected number of passengers were reduced at specific service section and several railroad stations which were served by the Mugunghwa. Also, the statistic shows that passenter demand concentrated in a specific time, so train service frequency and level of service need to be modified to meet with changed demand pattern. The purpose of this paper is to identify critical demand pattern, especially, in several section of the railroad system. This studies provide a railroad transportation system that is significantly more efficient, with far greater capacity, by providing solutions to the problems of congestion impact.

This paper presents contactless power supply systems using the Valtchev model in transportation systems. The major drawback of contactless systems is that the efficiency is lower than that of contact systems. The coupling coefficient of the contactless transformer is the most influential parameter on the system efficiency. Here, a new computer model for the contactless transfer system developed in the Korea Railroad Research Institute is presented. Also, simulations of the old model and the new model are compared with the prototype measurement to assure the model validity.

Super speed tube train is introduced to increase the speed of ground transportation. The super speed tube train levitates magnetically and runs in a partial vacuum tube, which can reduce the air resistance significantly. However, the strong magnetic force enough to propel the massive train can affect to the tube infrastructure. In this paper, authors have analyzed the leakage flux patterns and induced eddy current on the tube by using 3-dimensional Finite Element Method. These effects are investigated, especially by varying the materials and diameters of the tube. From the simulation results, the aluminum tube with the diameter of 3[m] is needed to be concerned because the induced eddy current produces joule heat, raises the inside temperature of the tube, and might be able to lead to electro-chemical corrosion on the tube, consequently reduce the durability.

In recent years, the application of deep learning method to computer vision has shown to achieve great performances. Thus, many research projects have also applied deep learning technology to railroad defect detection. In this paper, we have reviewed the researches that applied computer vision based deep learning method to railroad defect detection and inspection, and have discussed the current trend and the direction of those researches. Many research projects were targeted to operate automatically without visual inspection of human and to work in real-time. Therefore, methods to speed up the computation were also investigated. The reduction of the number of learning parameters was considered important to improve computation efficiency. In addition to computation speed issue, the problem of annotation was also discussed in some research projects. To alleviate the problem of time consuming annotation, some kinds of automatic segmentation of the railroad defect or self-supervised methods have been suggested.

The traffic policy of a city in Korea has brought to many traffic problems by putting emphasis on the only side of mobility in the past that the personal transportation was put first in importance more than the public transportation. As the result of this policy, in the process that the traffic policy of large cities in Korea changes into accessibility, it is shown for re-lighting up the development of the public transportation to be going to be able to get many suggestions in searching for the desirable developing direction of the new means of transportation that will arrive at Korea in the future. Especially, compared with the policy of U.S.A. on the traffic plan that has concentrated on the road and the vehicle, and that of Europe that has put first in the walking and the public transportation system, it is considered as an important thing that the lesson is given to us about what is important for the desirable city development. Transportation can be divided into four; a railroad transportation. a road transportation, a marine transportation, and an aerial transportation.

정책분석 이론의 틀 속에서 철도물류자원개발정책을 연계시켜 향후 철도물류자원개발의 타당성 있는 대안을 정립하고자 하는데 연구 목적을 두고 있으며, 이와 같은 연구목적을 달성하기 위한 구체적인 목표는 다음과 같다. 첫째. 정책분석의 이론 및 철도물류자원개발정책을 감안하여, 철도물류자원개발정책분석의 이념과 목표를 체계화 한다. 둘째, 철도물류자원개발정책분석의 이론을 체계화하여 향후 철도물류자원개발정책분석의 준거를 활용하고자 한다.

광역철도사업 추진과 관련하여 분류기준, 지정요건 등이 모호하여 지방정부는 재정지원비율이 높으면서 동시에 운영부담이 없는 국가시행사업으로 요구하게 되는 문제점을 낳았다. 이에 본 연구는 광역철도 사업이 본래의 기능을 충실히 수행할 수 있도록 지정기준을 재정립하였으며, 광역철도 사업의 세부 유형구분, 시행주체, 지정절차 등에 대해서도 규정의 정립을 제안하였다. 인구주택총조사 결과를 이용하여 광역철도의 범위를 정하고, 표정속도를 높여 도시철도와의 차별성을 확보하는 등의 형태로 광역철도 지정요건 개선방안을 마련하였다. 이에 따라 중앙정부의 재정소요를 경감하고 지방정부의 책임성을 높일 것으로 기대된다.
