  • A time based software simulator for the PRT system operation is presented. The purpose of the simulator is to estimate the passenger transportation performance of the PRT system. In this paper, it is presented how the system is modeled in the simulator to estimate passenger transportation performance and the running algorithm of the modeled subsystem. An application sample is also presented to find the system's design parameter to satisfy the transportation needs.

  • Compatibility concerns between train signalling systems and rolling stock are a significant problems to cross-acceptance of rolling stock in urban railway system. In this paper, we measured the conducted emission flowing current through rails and analyzed results for DC rolling Stock.

  • 본 논문은 적층 칩 바리스터의 외부단자 도금을 할 때 세라믹 표면에 절연성을 부여하기 위해 glass coating할 때 열처리 회수에 따른 전기적 특성을 연구하였다. 열처리 횟수의 증가에 따라 바리스터 전압의 변화는 크게 나타나지는 않으나 신리성에 영향을 미치는 누설전류 및 비직선계수는 열화되는 현상을 보이지만 glass coating을 통하여 전기 도금시 칩 바리스터 표면이 도금되지 않고 생산 할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

  • Alzheimer's disease(AD) is a geriatric dementia that is widespread in old age. In the future AD will be the largest problem in public health service. From old times, Much medicines have been used for treatment of dementia, but there is no medicine having obvious effect. AD is one of brain retrogression disease. So We studied on herbal medicine that have a relation of brain retrogression. From old times, In Oriental Medicine, Rhizoma Acori Graminei has been used for disease in relation to brain retrogression. We studied on the effects of anti-Alzheimer in pCT105-induced neuroblastoma cell lines by Rhizoma Acori Graminei extract As the result of this study, In RAG group, the apoptosis in the nervous system is inhibited, the repair against the degerneration of Neuroblastoma cells by CT105 expression is promoted. These results indicate that RAG possess strong inhibitory effect of apoptosis in the nervous system and repair effect against the degeneration of Neuroblastoma cells by CT105 expression.

A Multiresolution Image Segmentation Method using Stabilized Inverse Diffusion Equation (안정화된 역 확산 방정식을 사용한 다중해상도 영상 분할 기법)

  • Image segmentation is the task which partitions the image into meaningful regions and considered to be one of the most important steps in computer vision and image processing. Image segmentation is also widely used in object-based video compression such as MPEG-4 to extract out the object regions from the given frame. Watershed algorithm is frequently used to obtain the more accurate region boundaries. But, it is well known that the watershed algorithm is extremely sensitive to gradient noise and usually results in oversegmentation. To solve such a problem, we propose an image segmentation method which is robust to noise by using stabilized inverse diffusion equation (SIDE) and is more efficient in segmentation by employing multiresolution approach. In this paper, we apply both the region projection method using labels of adjacent regions and the region merging method based on region adjacency graph (RAG). Experimental results on noisy image show that the oversegmenation is reduced and segmentation efficiency is increased.
