허니콤 구조물의 차음특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Transmission Loss Characteristics of Honeycomb Structure)

  • As a test specimen. an aluminum extruded panel with a dimension of 640 mm$\times$740 mm$\times$40mm is considered. This plate has 9 mm thickness if mass is concerned. Based on the FEM modeling in rigidity. the specimen turns out to be 32 mm and 12 mm thickness In isotropic steel plate. Also, the characteristics of transmission loss on the honeycomb structure have been examined experimentally with reverberation chamber. A honeycomb structure follows mass law in above 800 Hz. In order to improve the noise transmission effect in lower frequency, extra damping treatment is suggested. As a conclusion. the examined honeycomb structure Is designed to Improve the bending rigidity, not for the noise reduction.

  • A direct boundary element method(DBEM) is developed for thin bodies whose surfaces are rigid or compliant. Th eHelmholtz integral equation and its normal derivative integral equation are adopted simultaneously to calculate the pressure on both sides of the thin body, instead of the jump values across it, to account for the different surface conditions of each side. Unlike the usual assumption, the normal velocity is assumed to be discontinuous across the thin body. In this approach, only the neutral surface of the thin body has to be discontinuous across the thin body. In this approach, only the neural surface of the thin body has to be discretized. The method is validated by comparison with analytic and/or numerical results for acoustic scattering and radiation from several surface conditions of the thin body; the surfaces are rigid when stationary or vibrating, and part of the interior surface is lined with a sound-absorbing material.

  • This paper introduces works performed for reducing high frequency noise of a reciprocating compressor. Noise in a high frequency range strongly affects sound quality as well as increases total noise level of the compressor. In order to reduce the noise, two different works were carried out. the first work was to measure the vibration Power transferred through suspension spring and discharge pipe; and the second one was to obtain operational deflection shape from cross-power spectrum measured on shell. Based on the information, Adequate structural modification of the transfer path and shell resulted in noise reduction in a high frequency range.

  • This paper proposes a method to generate virtual intensity field in space. The sound field of a zone enclosing the listener position is controlled to have maximum acoustic intensity to the desired direction. In order to control acoustic intensity of a zone, space-averaged active intensity is introduced. The ratio of space-averaged active intensity and control effort is defined as a cost function and expressed as a function of source control signals. It is shown that the cost function represents radiation efficiency of multiple sources. The control signals maximizing the cost function is found through eigenvalue analysis. The proposed method is verified by numerical simulations performed in free field condition, and the results provide a relation between wavelength and the size of controllable intensity field.

  • 조화집중이동하중을 받는 무한보에서의 음향방사에 대한 연구는 선박, 비행기, 타이어 트레드 밴느 등과 같은 계의 설계시 계의 구조물로부터 발생하는 소음에 대한 해결방안을 제시해 준다. 구조물 표면에 발생하는 음향파워는 svktnqusghks방법을 이용하여 보의 전길이에 분포된 음향 인텐시티를 적분하여 구한다. 보의 표면에서 발생하는 음향파원는 미하수, 장력, 감쇠계수, 기초강성계수, 그리고 파수비에 의해서 결정된다. 각 인자에 따른 음향파워에 대한 정성적인 분석을 수행하기 위해 심프슨 적분방법을 이용하여 수치적분을 하였다. 무한보에 작용하는 유체하중에 3다라 진동에너지가 음향에너지로 변환되는 비율이 달라진다. 밀도가 큰 유체는 등가감쇠로 작용하여 보로부터 방사된 음향에너지는 빠르게 감소된다. 하중의 이동에 의하여 도플러이동효과가 발생하여 무한보의 공진부근에서의 음향파워 파크가 분리되고 보의 기초감쇠의 영향으로 음향에너지는 감소된다.

  • 본 논문에서는 외부방사 문제에 널리 사용되는 음향경계 요소 법(Acoustic Boundary Element Method)을 확장하여 저주파수 대역은 기존의 방법을 이용하고 고주파수 대역에서는 경계요소의 특성길이에 의한 고주파수 상한을 극복할 수 있는 방법을 제시한다. 밴드를 대표하는 음압 레벨을 직접 계산하도록 상호상관도 가정을 통하여 간략화 하였다. 간단한 음향방사 모델인 배플이 있는 빔과 평판에 대하여 Rayleigh 적분식의 계산결과와 제안된 방법을 비교하여 적용효능성을 검토하였다. 적용을 위한 조건으로는 방사면 진동의 상호상관도가 작아야 하므로, 이를 만족시키기 위한 일반적인 조건식을 제시하여 이로부터 경계요소의 특성길이를 정하는 기준을 제시하였다.

  • In this paper vibration reduction characteristics of floating floors used in railway vehicles are studied. Vibration reduction characteristics are compared through a series of tests for elastically-coupled floor and rigidly-coupled floor. It was found that elastically-coupled floor has larger vibration reduction amount than rigidly-coupled floor. Around the fundamental natural frequency, however, elastic floor has poor vibration reduction effect than rigid floor. Measures to reduce structure-borne noise are also discussed based on the test results. Structure-borne noise for running railway vehicles cannot be reduced by an effort to deviate resonance between natural frequency of floors and major exciting forces. Instead, reducing vibration level of top floor and using covers which have low sound radiation coefficient will be effective for reducing structure-borne noise.

  • The acoustic characteristics of a direct radiator type loudspeaker has been studied in this paper. The vibration displacement of the speaker cone paper obtained by the finite element analysis has been converted into the vibration velocity and used as a boundary condition for the acoustic analysis. The frequency characteristics and the sound pressure distribution of the loudspeaker resulted from the radiation of the cone vibration have been calculated by the boundary element analysis. The numerical results have been verified by experiments carried out in an anechoic chamber. The variations of the acoustic characteristics due to the changes of some design parameters have been examined using the numerical model.

  • This paper reviews the Lawson formula which predicts the sound field of a point force in arbitrary motion. The acoustic density was represented by an integral of integrand including the generalized function and its partial derivative at retarded time. After skillful integration, a mathematically exact formula was yielded with some terms which were still remained in need of numerical calculations. The significance of further mathematical progress is discussed in this paper. And also, the adequacy of procedures deriving the far- and near-field terms is investigated from the viewpoint of radiation.

  • In this paper, the echo phenomena of Yingying Pagoda(ancient Chinese architecture), which may be resulted from interferences of reflection and diffraction by the pagoda eaves when pulse sound source is at some suitable positions, are investigated by an 1:2 scale model. There are valleys in frequency spectrum due to the interferences. On the other hand, taking eaves as wedges approximately, numerical spectral estimates are obtained from the closed-form impulse solution for diffraction of pulse point-source radiation by an infinite rigid wedge. The results of the numerical computations are similar to those of the model experiments. The study is a helpful guide to reconstruction or maintenance of this kind of ancient buildings.
