For designing the radar integrated data network, we construct the network structure with a spatial hierarchy decomposition scheme. The RIDN can be decomposed into several subnet classes, those of which are composed of the several group classes of radar sits, In a group class, the communication nodes of a radar site are modeled by the software modules formulated with the statistical attributes of discrete events. And we get the analysis over the network through the separately constructed infra group level models which were coded with the C language. After constructing the local area network with these infra models through the proper data links. We got the analysis of the communication performance of inner models and the global network.
In the terrain of the Korean peninsula, mountainous and flat lands are complexly distributed in small areas. Therefore, local severe weather develops and disappears in a short time due to the influence of the terrain. Particularly in the case of local severe weather with heavy wind that has the greatest influence on aviation meteorology, the scale is very small, and it occurs and disappears in a short time, so it is impossible to predict with fragmentary data alone. So, we use weather radar to detect and predict local severe weather. However, due to the development of wireless communication services and the rapid increase of wireless devices, radio wave jamming and interference problems occur. In this research, we confirmed through the cases that when the radio interference echo which is one of the non-precipitation echoes that occur during the operation of the weather radar is displayed in the image, its form and shape are shown in a long bar shape, and have a strong dBZ. We also found the cause of the interference through the radio tracking process, and solved through the frequency channel negotiation and AP output minimizing. The more wireless devices increase as information communication technology develops in the future, the more emphasized the problem of radio wave interference will be, and we must make the radio interference eliminated through the development of the radio interference cancellation algorithm.

Recently, acccording to price decline and miniaturization of drone, it is increased dramatically that drone usage in various category including military and private sectors. In accordance with popular usage, There is a increasing risk of safety accident, national security and public privacy problem. Hence there is a high demand for study and analysis applicable to the related technology and anti-drone method including drone detection and jamming. In general, it is extremely difficult to detect and recognize drones using conventional sensors. In this paper, we classify drone detection technology and Drone detection experiments are performed using CW RADAR to obtain and analyze micro-doppler pattern. This preliminary study aims to provide fundamental theory on radar drone detection and experimental test results such that in-depth anti-drone technology can be established in future.
A drone without attaching guns or bombs can be a dangerous weapon, since its motor speed is greater than 3000 rpm, which is similar to that of a mower powered by a LiPo battery. The anti-drone system is the only means of detecting and neutralizing drone attacks. Many defense companies around the world provide solutions using various types of equipment (for example, radar, cameras, jamming guns, and net guns). ETRI has also developed a Low-Altitude Drone Detection (LADD) system consisting of Ku-band radar and an Electro-Optical/Infra-Red (EO/IR) camera. In this paper, we summarize recent technical advances in anti-drone systems around the world and introduce the features and describe the performance of the LADD system.

The receiver of this paper is Dual-band monopulse type for prototype of tracking radar. Localization of radar technology is an issue of SamsungThales and go into development. Dual-band radar in comparison with Single-band radar requires higher cost and power consumption but there are many advantages of dealing with jamming, detection range, image signal rejection, cloud-rain influence, clutter, resolution. The receiver is comprised of X-band RF head module, Ka-band RF head module and common IF module. Each signal of X-band and Ka-band is selected by the switch in If module. Phase shifter in IF module of local stage controls the phase of sum, azimuth, elevation channel. In the test result, gain is $40{\pm}3 dB$, isolation of transmitter/receiver is 39 dBc, dynamic range is 110 dB and noise figure of each channel is 4.5dB and 6.9dB.

This paper proposes a M & S Tool for simulating the detection performance in the bistatic radar system. After examing the interrelationship among the bistatic radar parameters, $P_d$(probability of detection), $P_{fa}$(probability of false alarm) and SNR of the received signal, we analyze the range of the bistatic radar range product and range sum. We derive the number of integration of the received pulses that satisfies the required detection performance of the bistatic radar system, along with the analysis of the performance degradation in the jammer scenario. Finally, the analyzed results are implemented in the M & S Tool which consists of 4 modules.

The radar cross section (RCS) of warships is a crucial design factor to improve the survivability in terms of not only low observablity of the platform but also efficiency of on-board sensors and jamming devices against enemy threat. In design stage, numerical models are generated in order to quantitatively assess RCS, of which hull surfaces are modeled with the finite number of the flat plate. However, in practice, hull surfaces are permanently deformed by various kinds of loads such as winds and ocean waves faced during operations. In this paper, the effect of these shell plate deformation to RCS is numerically investigated. For this purpose, RCS calculations are carried out for various kinds of numerical models, such as single plates, dihedrals, large-sized undulate plates, and virtual warships, with some extent of permanent deformation. The results are compared with those of corresponding models without permanent deformation. It is concluded that the permanent deformation of hull surface highly influences RCS characteristics of warships, therefore they should be considered in the RCS analysis.

In Electronic Warfare, the need to develop a jamming system that protects our location information from enemy radar is constantly increasing. The jamming system normally uses wide-band DRFM(Digital Radio Frequency Memory) that processes the entire bandwidth at once. However, it is difficult to jam if there is a CW(Continuous Wave) interference signal in the band. Recently, instead of wide-band signal processing, a structure using a filter bank that divides the entire band into several sub-bands and processes each sub-band independently has been proposed. Although it is possible to handle interference signal through the filter bank structure, spurious signal occurs when the signal is received at a boundary frequency between sub-bands. Spurious signal makes a output power of jamming signal distributed, resulting in lower JSR(Jamming to Signal Ratio) and less jamming effect. This paper proposes an over-sampled channelized DRFM structure that enables interference response and prevents spurious signal for sub-band boundary frequency input.
Drones are being spreaded for the purposes such as construction, logistics, scientific research, recording, toy and so on. However, anti-drone related technologies which make the opposite drones neutralized are also widely being researched and developed because some drones are being used for crime or terror. The range of anti-drone related technologies can be divided into detection, identification and neutralization. The drone neutralization methods are divided into Soft-kill one which blocks the detected drones using jamming and Hard-kill one which destroys the detected ones physically. In this paper, Google and Naver domestic news articles related to anti-drone were gathered. Analyzing the domestic news articles, 8 of related technologies using RF, GNSS, Radar and so on were found. Regarding as this, the general features and usage status of those technologies were described and those on anti-drone for each company and agency were gathered and analyzed.

Radar receiving echo signal provides target information - range, velocity and position by signal magnitude and Doppler shift, which are determined by target reflection characteristics and target maneuver. Target angle error is extracted from the magnitude ratio of difference channel to sum channel. In this paper, we introduce a radar Return Signal Simulation Equipment(RSSE) which is implemented for the purpose of performance analysis and evaluation of phased array multi-function radar(MFR). It generates multi-target environment with jamming signals using MC-DDS (Multi-Channel Direct Digital Synthesis), and has scalability by using the efficient hardware configuration. The performance of the developed RSSE has been evaluated under various test environments. Especially, we proved that required target detection performance is achieved by RSP(Radar Signal Processor) interfaced RSSE configuration.
