ANP법을 이용한 수색.구조선의 할당순위 평가 (Evaluation of Order for Allocation of Rescue Unit using Analytic Network Process)

  • 본 연구는 ANP법을 이용하여 수색 구조선의 할당순위를 평가하였다. 이러한 평가를 위해서 본 연구에서는 퍼지추론 및 계층분석법을 이용하여 인명피해, 선박피해, 환경오염피해에 대해 위험성을 평가하였다. 또한 DEA법 및 리커트 척도법을 이용하여 수색 구조선의 정량적, 정성적 운영효율성을 평가하였다. 마지막으로는 위험성평가와 운영효율성 평가를 ANP법을 이용하여 종합 평가치를 산출하였다. 그 결과 MP, YS RCC/RSC 구역이 수색 구조선의 할당순위가 비교적 높은 것으로 나타났다.

코발트-60 감마선의 전자 오염에 관한 연구 (Study on the Reduction of Electron Contamination with A Cobalt-60 Gamma Ray)

  • Electron contamination due to the interaction between radiation beam and material was analyzed for the factors such as source-skin distance (SSD), field size, tray characteristics and position of filter, which can affect the surface dose in Cobalt teletherapy. Surface dose in open beam was more influenced by SSD with increasing field size. Relative surface charge (RSC) increased with the use of tray (solid, circular hole, slotted), compared with open beam, which is thought to be due to increased electron contamination of the tray. To reduce the surface dose, 0.4mm thick Lipowitz metal filter was used. Compared with open beam, RSC decreased by 8.8%, 11.3%, 13.3%, 16.6%, 19.3% and 21.7% for the field size of $5{\times}5$, $10{\times}10$, $15{\times}15$, $20{\times}20$, $25{\times}25$ and $30{\times}30cm^2$, respectively. On the contrary, use of Lipowitz metal filter increased RSC at 60cm or less SSD. Surface dose was effectively reduced with Lpowitz metal filter placed right below solid tray in Cobalt teletherapy.

태반 추출물의 자가포식 활성을 통해 산화스트레스에 대한 슈반세포 보호 효과 (Protective Effect of Placental Extract against Oxidative Stress through Autophagy Activity in Schwann Cells)

  • Schwann cells play a critical role for myelination in peripheral nerve system. It also plays an important role in nerve protection and regeneration. In peripheral nerve damage, regeneration is induced by the migration and proliferation of Schwann cells which were promoted by suppressing the oxidative stress. In this study, Human placental extract was prepared by homogenization and estimated its efficacy in RSC96 cells. Placental extract exhibited a protective effect against hydrogen peroxide-induced oxidative stress in RSC96 cells, confirmed by MTT assay. Furthermore, placental extract decreased intracellular ROS against oxidative stress, confirmed by DCFH-DA assay. Autophagy was visualized with Cyto-ID staining to confirm the autophagy activity of placental extracts. The activity of autophagy was confirmed by immunoblot analysis of autophagy flux-associated proteins such as LC3 conversion and SQSTM1 degradation. Thus, we confirmed the antioxidant effect of placental extract to protect RSC96 cells from oxidative stress, and observed that it activated autophagy and restored autophagy flux.

실링 테이프 적용에 따른 시공조인트 균열 저항성 평가 (Evaluation of Crack Resistance of Cold Joint as Usage of Sealing Tape)

  • PURPOSES : In order to evaluate a crack resistance at cold joint, sealing tape was adopted to apply at cold joint instead of typical tack coat material(RSC-4). The sealing tape was made by hot sealing material. The crack resistance as function of environmental and traffic loading was measured with visual observation. METHODS : In this study, the crack resistance was evaluated as function of environmental and traffic loading. The freeze-thaw method was adopted for environmental loading of asphalt pavement. condition. The damage of cold joint under freeze-thaw action is initiated by ice expansion load and accelerated by the interfacial damage between new and old asphalt pavement. The traffic loading was applied with wheel tracking machine on the cold joint area of the asphalt pavement for 3 hours at $25^{\circ}C$. The evaluation of crack resistance was measured with visual observation. The freeze-thaw results shows that the sealing tape was significantly increased the crack resistance based on. RESULTS : To estimate the crack resistance at cold joint area due to the environmental loading, the Freeze-thaw test was conducted by exposing the product to freezing temperature(approximately $-18^{\circ}C$) for 24 hours, and then allowing it to thaw at $60^{\circ}C$ for 24 hours. The tack coat material(RSC-4) was debonded after 21 cycles of the Freeze-thaw test. The first crack was observed after 14 freeze-thaw cycle with RSC-4 material. But, the sealing tape was not debonded after 24 cycle test. Also, the sealing tape shows the better performance of the crack resistance under the traffic loading with wheel track test. The crack was generated the under traffic loading with RSC-4(tack coating), however, the crack was not shown with sealing tape. It indicates that the sealing tape has a strong resistance of tensile stress due to traffic loading. CONCLUSIONS :Based on limited laboratory test result, a performance of crack resistance using the sealing tape is better than that of general tack coat material(RSC-4). It means that the sealing tape is possible to extend a pavement service life because the crack, one of the main pavement distresses, will be delayed.

  • CBP(Cost-Based Pool) 시장에서 발전계획을 수립하고 시장가격을 산출할 목적으로 1999년 Alstom-ESCA(현 AREVA)사로부터 RSC(Resource Scheduling and Commitment, 이하 RSC)프로그램이 도입되었다. 그러나 단기간 발전경쟁시장 체제에서 사용할 목적으로 도입되었기 때문에 현재 CBP시장이 장기화가 예상되는 시점에서 전력시장 환경 및 구조변화의 흐름속에서 요구되는 기능을 제공할 수 있는 향상된 프로그램 도입의 필요성이 증가하게 되었고 이에 2008년 AREVA사로부터 한층 성능이 향상된 프로그램을 도입하게 되었고 올해 수차례의 모의운영을 통해 최적화 효율성 향상으로 발전비용이 감소되는 효과를 보여주고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이에 대한 모의운영 결과를 보여주고자 한다.

  • This paper suggests an evaluation of risk level for damage of marine accidents in SRRs. Qualitative analyses in words is sometimes priorior to quantative analyses in numeric symbols. This paper intoduces a concept of fuzzy theory with the plenty of related literature riview and AHP in the Korean SRRs of RCC and RSC. The methodology of this paper is maxㆍmin composition of fuzzy extensive principle, defuzzifiation is centroid of gravity methods. At the result, the evaluation of risk level is especially over Serous for smarine accident of Taean, Gunsan, Mokpo, Yosu, Tongyoung, Busan SRR. This paper recommends that many Resale Vessels and Equipments need to the reduction of risk level about those.

  • We have developed a speaker dependent voice command system(VCS) to control the sunroof in the car using RSC-164 VRP(Voice Recognition Processor). VCS consists of control circuits, microphone, speaker and user switch box. The control circuits include RSC-164, input audio preamplifier, memory devices, and relay circuit for sunroof control. It is designed robustly in various car noisy situations like audio volume, air conditioner, and incoming noise when window or sunroof opened. Each two users can control the car sunroof using seven voice commands on the Super TVS model and five voice commands on the Onyx model. It works well when we drive the car at over 100 km/h with the sunroof opened.

  • In this paper, a robust adaptive backstepping control is developed for efficiency optimization of induction motors with uncertainties. The proposed control scheme consists of efficiency flux control(EFC) using a sliding mode adaptive flux observer and robust speed control(RSC) using a function approximation for mechanical uncertainties. In EFC, it is important to find the flux reference to minimize power losses of induction motors. Therefore, we proposed the optimal flux reference using the electrical power loss function. The sliding mode flux observer is designed to estimate rotor fluxes and variation of inverse rotor time constant. In RSC, the unknown function approximation technique employs nonlinear disturbance observer(NDO) using fuzzy neural networks(FNNs). The proposed controller guarantees both speed tracking and flux tracking. Simulation results are presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the approaches proposed.

SPME에 기초한 VOC 및 주요 악취물질들의 상대적 검량특성에 대한 연구 (A Study of Relative Performance of SPME Method for the Analysis of VOC and Some Major Odorous Compounds)

  • In this study, the performance characteristics of solid phase microextraction (SPME) were investigated for three major odorous groups that consist of 10 individual compounds ([1] volatile organic compounds (VOC): benzene, toluene, p-xylene and styrene, [2] reduced sulfur compounds (RSC): hydrogen sulfide, methyl mercaptan, dimethylsulfide (DMS), dimethyldisulfide (DMDS), and carbon disulfide, and [3] amine: trimethylamine (TMA)). For the purpose of a comparative analysis, two types of SPME fiber ([1] polidimethylsiloxane/divinilbenzene (P/D) and [2] $Carboxen^{TM}$/polidimethylsiloxane (C/P)) were test ε d against each other for a series of standards prepared at different concentration levels (100, 200, and 500 ppb). To compare the analytical performance of each fiber, all standards were analyzed for the acquisition of calibration data sets for each compound. The results of P/D fiber generally showed that its calibration slope increased as a function of molecular weight across different VOCs; however, those of C/P fiber showed a fairly reversed trend. Besides, we confirmed that the application of SPME is limited to many sulfur compounds; only two compounds (DMS and DMDS) are sensitive enough to draw calibration results out of SPME. The calibration data for RSC show generally enhanced slop values for C/P relative to P/D fiber. However, in the case of TMA, we were not able to find a notable difference in their performance.

Comparison of Mutagenic Activities of Various Ultra-Fine Particles

  • Air pollution is increasing, along with consumption of fossil fuels such as coal and diesel gas. Air pollutants are known to be a major cause of respiratory-related illness and death, however, there are few reports on the genotoxic characterization of diverse air pollutants in Korea. In this study, we investigated the mutagenic activity of various particles such as diesel exhaust particles (DEP), combustion of rice straw (RSC), pine stem (PSC), and coal (CC), tunnel dust (TD), and road side dust (RD). Ultra-fine particles (UFPs) were collected by the glass fiber filter pad. Then, we performed a chemical analysis to see each of the component features of each particulate matter. The mutagenicity of various UFPs was determined by the Ames test with four Salmonella typhimurium strains with or without metabolic activation. The optimal concentrations of UFPs were selected based on result of a concentration decision test. Moreover, in order to compare relative mutagenicity among UFPs, we selected and tested DEP as mutation reference. DEP, RSC, and PSC induced concentration-dependent increases in revertant colony numbers with TA98, TA100, and TA1537 strains in the absence and presence of metabolic activation. DEP showed the highest specific activity among the particulate matters. In this study, we conclude that DEP, RSC, PSC, and TD displayed varying degrees of mutagenicity, and these results suggest that the mutagenicity of these air pollutants is associated with the presence of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in these particulate matters.
