  • We have desingned multi channel dosimetry system with Intel single-chip microprocessor. We considered that this system is very useful for patient dose measurement, measurement of sealed source dose distribution and calibration of small field for stereotatic radiosurgery system We have designed that this system use commercially available semicondutor detector and personal computer can control this system and process data through RS-232C serial port.

  • Many industrial equipments use RS-232C interface. But Ethernet using CSMA/CD was widly spread recently. This interface is not compatible with RS-232C and requires PC based system. So In this Paper, We decribe a Internet control and monitoring system that control and watch plants without PC. We developed IP controller consisted of microprocessor and NIC and monitoring system using VC++ and SQL database. The protocol used this system is UDP/IP because it is applicable for real time system.

  • In this paper, brushed servo control system for industrial robot is realized under GUI environment. Brushed servo motor has 400W capacities, 1000ppr optic encoder and electric brake load. Especially, driving unit is composed of full-bridge MOSFET semiconductors with 9540 and 540 FET ICs. Control unit has PIC 16C74 microprocessor[l,2,3], RS-232 communication ports, URD current sensor, and GAL 16R8ACN. Servo control system is controlled by PID control method[5,8] with varying control parameters and load capacities. Brushed servo control systems which are proposed in this raper are applied to industrial robot control system.

  • We implemented a real-time servo system for a manipulator based on Laser Range Finder (LRF). and established algorithms for grasping a moving cylinder. We devised a manipulator mechanism and driving hardware based on a system board equipped with Xscale Processor with real-time operating system RTAI on Linux. The manipulator motor driver is connected to the system board via CAN communication link, and LRF is connected via RS-232C. We implemented real-time software including CAN device driver, RS-232C device driver, manipulator trajectory generator, and LRF control software. A typical application experiment for grasping a cylinder with circle motion demonstrated our system's real-time performance.

  • 선박의 안전한 항해를 위해서 필수 장비 중 하나인 기상 팩스 장비는 연안국에서 FSK 방식으로 변조된 무선 주파수를 통해서 보내는 기상도를 선박에서 수신하여 이미지화 하는 장비이다. 연안국에서는 기상도를 스캔 한 후에 중심 주파수를 1900Hz로 하고, 흑점을 1500Hz, 백점을 2300Hz 신호로 FSK 변조하여 방송하면 선박에서 이 신호를 수신한다. 따라서 현재는 기상 팩스를 받기 위해서는 기상 팩스 장비가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 선박에 일반적으로 설치되어 있는 IBM-PC를 이용하여 소프트웨어만을 사용하여 기존의 기상 팩스 장비가 가지고 있는 모든 기능을 구현하고, 기상도의 출력, 편집, 저장 기능을 추가로 설계 및 구현하였다. IBM-PC에서는 RS-232C 보트를 통해 수신된 신호를 Timer Interrupt와 Serial Interrupt를 사용하여 이미지화 하고 주파수를 선택할 수 있게 하고, 실시간 처리 등을 소프트웨어적으로 가능하게 하였다. IBM-PC를 사용함으로 기상도의 수신 및 상태를 개선하는 이미지의 보정이 가능하며, 저장 후 처리가 용이하고, 별도의 기상 팩스 장비를 구입할 필요가 없는 경제적인 기상 팩스 시스템이다.

  • This study aim is to effectively reduce the time that was required for the analysis on an existing communication protocol with the industrial monitoring equipment. We analyzed the collected data with the Modbus protocol and NMEA0183, which is widely used in industrial monitoring. and User will be easy converting to data for use on each devices. The main board of the protocol converter was used AVR128, and RS232C and Ethernet was configured to enable communication.

  • 본 연구에서는 리눅스를 임베디드 시스템에 포팅하기 위한 기술을 조사하고 하드웨어를 선정하여 리눅스를 포팅하였다. 하드웨어는 Intel 사의 StrongARM SA-1110를 탑재한 Evaluation board를 사용하였다. 개발 환경은 Host computer와 Assabet board상에 RS-232C를 이용하여 프로그램 다운로드할 수 있는 환경을 구축하였다. StrongARM를 위한 Cross Compiler를 만들고, StrongARM의 하드웨어 메모리 맵을 이용하여 Linux의 메모리 맵을 설정한 후 리눅스를 컴파일하였다. 이를 RS-232C를 통해 Assabet board에 다운로드하여 리눅스를 탑재한 임베디스 시스템을 구현하였다. UCB1300 telecom codec의 device driver를 개발하여 커널에 적재하고 이를 사용하여 전화기로부터 들어오는 신호중 CID 신호를 해석하여 발신자 번호를 출력하는 시스템을 구현하였다.

  • This paper deals with the quick and precise disaster prevention automation system (DPAS) based on information communication technology (IT) that detects fire and disasters in the building automatically and quickly and then activates the facilities to extinguish fire and disasters, monitoring such situation in a real time through wire-wireless communication network. The proposed DPAS is applied a programmable logic controller (PLC) of one-chip type which is smallsize and lightweight and also has highly sensitive-precise reliabilities. The one-chip type PLC analyzes detected signals from sensors in a case of fire and disasters, then activates fire extinguishing facilities for rapid suppression. The detected data is also transferred to a remote situation room through wire-wireless network of RS232c and bluetooth communication. The transferred data sounds an emergency alarm signal, and operates a monitoring program. The proposed DPAS based on IT will minimize the life and wealth loss from rapid measures while prevents fire and disasters.

  • The weather FAX machine is the one of necessary of safety navigation for ship. which is the machine which make the weather image by the receiving radio signal which is modulated using FSK method and transmitted on air by coast station. after Coast station scan the weather image and broadcast the image with black dot to 1500Hz and white dot to 2300Hz using FSK modulation. This paper implement weather fax machine using only general IBM-PC by software. By using IBM-PC we can make some good functions like print, edit, save etc. The modulated signal from SSB go into RS232C port via photo coupler not to give damage to PC. by using Timer Interrupt and RS232C serial interrupt, we can measure signal frequency and remake weather image. This paper use only IBM-PC with general SSB receiver which is widely spread on the ship. so this is very economic and possible to implement mutifunctions.

  • In this paper, which sees the Strong-ARM SA1110 it used the main CPU and RTP in VoIP system. It will be able to apply the information communication field it embodied. It used the Tynux_box2 with the hardware side and it composed a VOIP system. And it used the RTP which is a real-time protocol in software control portion. The development environment of the paper that used the Target board and a Linux PC for connection used the RS-232C, USB connection, Ethernet LAN. The VoIP the environment for a communication used the wave file in the substitution which changes analog signal with the digital signal. And For the communication of the both sides it used the socket. This paper explained the fact that against a general technique from the operation of VoIP system. Using the Embedded linux development board which explained an operational process of the RTP protocol.
