Expression of Membrane-Type Matrix Metalloproteinase 1 and 2 in Mouse Oocytes, Embryos, Ovary and Oviduct (생쥐 난자와 배아 및 난소와 수란관의 Membrane-Type Matrix Metalloproteinase 1 및 2의 유전자 발현)

  • Membrane type matrix metalloproteinases(MT-MMPs) have been suggested to play an important role during structural remodeling of various tissue. Expression patterns of MT1-MMP and MT2-MMP mRNAs were investigated in oocytes, embryos, ovary and oviduct of mouse during their differentiation or periovulatory period using RT-PCR technique. Both cDNA products of MT1- and MT2-MMP of immature oocytes were barely discernable with a minimum amount but the expressions were distinct in mature oocytes regardless that they were matured in vivo or in vitro. MT2-MMP was not expressed by 2-cell embryos but was expressed by 4-cell stage embryos. From the morula stage untill hatched blastocyst stage, embyos showed intesnse expression of MT2-MMP with a sudden increase at blastocyst stage. While mouse ovarian tissues showed both expression of MT1- and MT2-MMP, there was no stage-specific difference throughout the estrous cycle. Mouse oviducts also exhibit constant amount of both MT1- and MT2-MMP expressions throughout periovulatory period, i.e., before or after ovulation. These observations lead to suggest that the differential expressions of maternal MT1- and MT2-MMP during meiotic resumption of mouse oocytes and embryonic expression of MT2-MMP particularly at blastocyst stage might play a role in the differentiation of mouse oocytes and/or embryos. The precise function of MT1- and MT2-MMP with regards to their participation in the remodeling of ovarian and oviductal tissues remains in a question.

  • 현재 우리나라에서는 하천의 개수사업 및 교량, 제방 등과 같은 수공구조물 설계시 계획 홍수위를 산정하는데 있어 실무에서는 1차원 모형인 HEC-RAS 모형이 널리 이용되고 있다. 그러나 HEC-RAS 모형과 같은 1차원 모형의 경우 모형의 한계로 인해 하폭의 확대, 축소, 만곡부 및 섬 등과 같은 장애물 존재시 하천횡단면에 따른 수위 및 유속변화를 표현하는데 많은 어려움이 있으며, 이런 한계로 인해 1차원 모형만을 이용하여 하도 및 하천공간계획을 수립하기란 사실상 불가능하다. 또한 최근 들어 하천기능에 대한 인식이 과거 홍수소통, 용수이용 등 이.치수중심에서 인간과 다양한 생명체가 공존하는 서식처로서의 기능을 부여하는 생태하천의 개념으로 변화하는 추세이며, 이와 같이 변화된 패러다임하에서 생태하천복원사업 등과 같은 하천관련 사업추진 시 합리적인 하도 및 하천의 공간계획을 수립하기 위해서는 하도내 2차원 흐름특성 등과 같은 기초자료가 절실히 요구된다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 합리적인 하도 및 하천의 공간계획을 수립하기 위한 기초자료를 제공함은 물론, 보 철거에 따른 하도내 흐름개선 효과를 분석하기 위해 연구대상 하천인 두계천에 대하여 2차원 수치모의를 통한 하도내 흐름특성 변화를 조사하였다. 본 연구에서 선정한 2차원 모형으로는 유한요소법에 기반을 둔 RMA-2모형의 범용프로그램인 SMS 모형을 선정하였고, 1차원 수치해석을 통하여 선정된 하류단의 경계조건을 적용하여 2차원 수리특성 분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과 철거대상 취수보 15개에 대하여 보철거 후 수위에 대한 개선 효과는 금암보를 제외한 대부분의 보 철거 구간에서는 그리 크지 않은 것으로 나타난 반면, 보 철거에 따른 유속의 개선효과는 대부분 큰 것으로 나타났다.는 경우보다 낮게 나타나고 있다. On-Line 저류지의 경우 Off-Line 의 경우에 비해 수위, 유량이 저류지의 상류단에서 크게 나타났다. On-Line 저류지의 경우 Off-Line 의 경우에 비해 같은 값의 첨두홍수량을 저류하기 위해서 상대적으로 넓은 저류면적이 필요한 것으로 나타난다. 대등한 수위감소값의 홍수저감효과를 발휘하기 위해서 본 연구에서는 On-Line 저류지 면적은 Off-Line 저류지에 비 두배 이상이 필요한 것으로 보여졌다.들에 관한 정보는 종종 현장관측에서 조차 무시되는 경우가 많다. 이에 본 연구에서는 수질모형의 매개변수 중 특히 수리특성에 관련된 매개변수들이 수질에 미치는 영향을 파악하는 것을 목적으로 하고 있다. 이를 위해 적용된 수질모형은 QualKo를 사용하였으며, 대상 하천은 낙동강 본류 경남구간 시점 부근인 회천 합류 전부터 낙동강 본류 경남구간 종점 부근인 밀양강 합류 전까지의 경남 오염총량관리 기본계획 시 구축된 모형 매개변수를 바탕으로 분석을 수행하였다. 일차오차분석을 이용하여 수리매개변수와 수질매개변수의 수질항목별 상대적 기여도를 파악해 본 결과, 수리매개변수는 DO, BOD, 유기질소, 유기인 모든 항목에 일정 정도의 상대적 기여도를 가지고 있는 것을 알 수 있었다. 이로부터 수질 모형의 적용 시 수리 매개변수 또한 수질 매개변수의 추정 시와 같이 보다 세심한 주의를 기울여 추정할 필요가 있을 것으로 판단된다.변화와 기흉 발생과의 인과관계를 확인하고 좀 더 구체화하기 위한 연구가 필요할 것이다.게 이루어질 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.는 초과수익률이 상승하지만, 이후로는 감소하므로, 반전거래전략을 활용하는 경우 주식투자기간은 24개월이하의 중단기가 적합함을 발견하였다. 이상의 행태적 측

  • 하수관거 설계시나 단지개발사업, 그리고 하수관거정비사업과 같이 오수처리시설의 적정 규모 결정을 위해서는 정확한 상수사용량 및 오수발생량 원단위가 요구되지만 국내의 경우 이러한 원단위에 대한 기초자료 부족과 자료의 신빙성 결여로 인해 적정 원단위를 결정하는데 어려움이 있다. 이러한 관점에서 단지개발이 이루어지는 도시에서는 도시의 규모, 입지조건, 기후조건, 생활양식 등 다양한 요인들이 고려된 오수발생패턴 및 발생량 조사가 필요하며, 조사된 원단위는 오수처리시설의 적정 규모 결정뿐 아니라 침입수/유입수 분석 및 하수관거정비에 대한 성과예측에도 활용될 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 현재 단지개발 및 하수관거정비사업이 진행중인 하남시의 표본이 될 수 있는 대표구역을 선정하고 그 지역에서 조사지역을 세부적으로 분류하여 각 지역별 오수발생특성을 분석하였다. 대상지역인 하남시는 총면적의 $97\%$가 자연녹지 및 생산녹지이며, 나머지 $3\%$는 일반주거지역 및 일반 상업지역으로 나뉜다. 그리고 도시계획상 공장지역으로 편성된 부분이 없어 앞으로도 하남시 대부분의 면적이 녹지와 주거/상업지역으로 구성될 것이다. 이러한 하남시의 특성을 고려하여 조사지역은 공장지역을 제외한 일반주거지역, 밀집주거지역, 영업지역으로 분류하였으며 이렇게 분류된 지역은 각각 오수발생패턴 및 오수농도에 대한 조사를 실시하여 오수발생특성을 분석하였고, 조사지역별 인구수 조사와 연계하여 원단위 자료를 추출하였다. 이렇게 조사된 자료들을 통해 침입수/유입수 분석에 요구되는 오수전환율, 야간생활하수량 비율을 산정하였으며, 차후 단지개발 및 관거정비 후에 발생하는 오수 발생특성과 비교분석을 통하여 하남시 지역의 오수발생특성에 대한 신뢰성 있는 자료로 활용될 것으로 기대된다. RMA2 모형을 이용하여 충주댐에서의 물의 흐름을 해석한 결과 옥순대교$\~$청풍대교 구간 사이에 댐 및 지형적 영향으로 인해 잘 발달된 와류가 하도 전체를 통하여 발생되고 있었고 이는 댐 부유물 정체현상이 나타나는 지점과 잘 일치하고 있었다.정함 후 감마분석에 의하여 구하였다. CF:CS 연령모델을 적용한 결과 깊이에 따른 supported $^{210}Pb$와 퇴적 속도는 0.91cm/year 인 것으로 산정 되었다.RS is a more advanced content-based image retrieval system than other systems which support only concepts or image features.방하는 것이 선계기준에 적합한 것으로 나타났다. 밸브 개폐에 따른 수압 변화를 모의한 결과 밸브 개폐도를 적절히 유지하여 필요수량의 확보 및 누수방지대책에 활용할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.8R(mm)(r^2=0.84)$로 지수적으로 증가하는 경향을 나타내었다. 유거수량은 토성별로 양토를 1.0으로 기준할 때 사양토가 0.86으로 가장 작았고, 식양토 1.09, 식토 1.15로 평가되어 침투수에 비해 토성별 차이가 크게 나타났다. 이는 토성이 세립질일 수록 유거수의 저항이 작기 때문으로 생각된다. 경사에 따라서는 경사도가 증가할수록 증가하였으며 $10\% 경사일 때를 기준으로 $Ro(mm)=Ro_{10}{\times}0.797{\times}e^{-0.021s(\%)}$로 나타났다.천성 승모판 폐쇄 부전등을 초래하는 심각한 선천성 심질환이다. 그러나 진단 즉시 직접 좌관상동맥-대동맥 이식술로 수술적 교정을 해줌으로써 좋은 성적을 기대할 수 있음을 보여주

Phylogeny of the subfamily Salmoninae distributed in Korea based upon nucleotide sequences of mitochondrial ribosomal RNA genes (미토콘드리아 ribosomal RNA 유전자 염기서열분석에 의한 한국산 연어아과 어류의 유전적 계통도)

  • Complete senuences of the mitochondrial rRNA Benes were determined among six salmonines in Korean Waters (Brachpmystax lenok, Onoorhpchus keta, O. masou mason, O. mason ishikawae, O. mykiss, and albino mutant of O. mykiss). The purposes of this study were to provide the basic information on levels of mtDNA polymorphism among these species for genetic characterization; discuss phylogentic relationships among three Oncorhynchus sepecies; demonstrate the utility of rRNA gene sequence data as a genetic marker for disringuishinf among Korean salmonines. PCR/direct sequencing data indicated the following consistent results; 1) 12S rRNA genes was 945 bases long in Oncorhynchus species, and 946 bases in B. lenot including one insertion. 2) Of sequence variation in mitochondrial rRNA regions, transitional substitutions were superior to transversion. 3) The significant differences were not shown in the intraspecific variation values in these gene regions. The percentage sequence divergence values were ranged from $0.066 to 0.212{\%}$. 4) The interspecific divergences were greater than the intraspecific variation. Nevertheless, ribosomal RMh genes were more conserved among species than the other mitochondrial genes, and they showed potentiality as an intergenic marker for systematics. In addition, phylogenetic trees, constructed from this data, supported that cherry salmon was closer to chum salmon than to rainbow trout, and that lenok was most distantly related species in six salmonid species.

Effect of Sterols on Phytophthora infestans and Oospore Production on detached Potato Plants (감자 역병균에 대한 스테롤류의 영향 및 감자절편에서의 난포자 형성)

  • The effects of media, cholesterol, $\beta$-sitosterol and lecithin on the growth and oospore production of the isolates KM10, U6, CDB6, MHB6, JD1 (A$^2$type) of Phytophthora infestans isolated in Korea and F8l7, DNC303 (A$^1$type), IB908, DN107 (A$^2$type) obtained from Japan were investigated. Mycelium of P. infestans grew better on V-8 juice agar and rye meal agar than on the other media. Oospores were produced most abundantly on V-8 juice agar. Mycelium extended more 16.6, 8.3, and 5.2% on V-8 juice agar supplemented with 5 $\mu\textrm{g}$/$m\ell$ of cholesterol, $\beta$-sitosterol and lecithin, respectively, and oospores are produced 76.0, 58.0, and 34.6 % on V-8juice agar supplemented with 5 $\mu\textrm{g}$/$m\ell$ of cholesterol, $\beta$-sitosterol and lecithin, respectively. Oospores more produced on detached potato plant disks when $A^1$ and $A^2$ type exist simultaneously which indicating that variation of population can occur in the field, but the rate of oospore formation and the number of oospores produced was low and small quantity.

  • This study examines the relationship of the industry-specific factors that effect innovation of manufacturing technology and the market share within the defense industry. Since the establishment of the basic defense industry framework in 1973, there were numerous interactions of the industry-specific factors of the defense industry structure with the technological innovation and market organization of the defense industry. During last three decades, the domestic defense industry has achieved the considerable level but the framework of the basic system has not developed much in areas of the military science and the defense manufacturing technology. Industry-specific factors were formed in the process and appeared in a variety of behavioral characteristics as subsystems. Currently, there IS a growing trend where the management of defense industry is gradually deteriorating due to limitation of the domestic industry-specific factor (e.g. defense technologies, amount of demand, etc.). If there is a prominent imbalance of the industry-specific factors. it can trigger the potential problem of conflict, lack of cooperation and control, slowing the growth of the manufacturing technology thereby diminishing the market and deteriorating the defense supply/demand relationship. In a research conducted by Joe S. Bain, Bain analyzed the relationship of the traditional industrial organization where industry-specific factor(S) not only impacts the conductor(C). And, conductor(C) influences the shaping of the performance(P) of relationship of the traditional industrial organization. Consequently, the researcher has identified the demand monopoly, barriers to entry, and market competition with comparison of defense industry issues. These defense issues were three industry-specific factors identified, which are 1) The demand monopoly and The entry barriers to new market competition, 2) the industrial technical factor to a production technical competitiveness and a market sharing competitiveness, 3) the probability factor to revolution for military affairs(RMA) and a R&D production. According to baseline with these factors, the following research model is established from the special companies group(Group A), the systematization companies group(Group B), and the general companies group(Group 0. The hypothesis is that if there are more industry-specific factors, then there will be more relationships of defense industry relation statutes. This research is an empirical study on the relationship that the industry specific factors effects the innovation of manufacturing technology and the shaping of the market in the defense industry. Moreover, the existing models to evaluate the industry specific factors of the defense industry IS much to be desired with the controlled statistical analysis of the result. It is vital to study on current situation with suggesting alternative strategy to the efficient strategy. The descriptive analysis approach analysis is conducted with SPSSWIN to conduct reliability test, factor analysis, correlation analysis, cross-tabulation analysis, one-way ANOVA, and multiple regression analysis. However, there were some limitations of the survey such as the rigidity of concept about the technical factors and various market management factors. The wishes is that the decision-maker could be utilized these defence industrial factors to formulate efficient defence policy and strategy in the future.

Expression of H-ras, RLIP76 mRNA and Protein, and Angiogenic Receptors in Corpus Luteum Tissues during Estrous Cycles (난소 내 황체조직에서 발정주기별 H-Ras, RLIP76, Angiogenic Receptors mRNA와 Protein의 발현)

  • Corpus luteum (CL) is a transient endocrinal tissue that undergoes repeated formation and regression during the estrous cycle. In this study, we hypothesized that the functional and structural mechanism of angiogenesis is similar between CL and tumor formation. First, we measured mRNA and protein expression of angiogenic receptors (vascular endothelial growth factor receptor-2, VEGFR2; Tie 2) in the early, middle, and late phase CL tissues during the estrous cycle. Ral-interacting protein of 76 kDa (RLIP76) and H-ras mRNA and protein were also expressed in the CL tissues. VEGFR2 and Tie 2 mRNA and protein were expressed in the early and middle phase CLs and decreased in the late phase. H-ras mRNA and protein were expressed in the early and middle phase CLs, but not in the late phase. RLIP76 mRNA was expressed in all phase CLs, and the protein expression was highest in early phase CLs. We suggest that RLIP76 and H-ras, an oncogenic gene, regulate the function of the CL during the estrous cycle, and the proteins will play an important role in the angiogenic mechanism of the CL.

A Study on the Relationship between Volunteer Experience and Subjective Self-awareness (자원봉사활동 경험과 주관적 자아인식 관계 연구)

  • The purpose of this study explained the experience of volunteering activities and the relationship of subjective self-awareness in order to examine the social meaning of volunteer activities. For adults aged 20 or older, 312 volunteering experience and social support awareness were analyzed on the level of self-identity by allocation sampling method depending on gender and age. The analysis results of this study were as follows. First, it was found that those who have experienced volunteer activitiies have a relatively simple willingness to participate in professional volunteer activities and those who have experienced volunteer activities. Second, social support and self-identification were different depending on whether they have experienced volunteer activities. Third, age, volunteer participation, willingness to participated in volunteering, and social support were analyzed as explanatory factors predicting self-identification of research participants. Based on the research results, volunteer activities to positively promote self-awareness suggested the need to practice volunteer activities according to the life cycle so that social meaning can be given. As a policy suggestion, the need for volunteer activities was closely analyzed to enable healthy self-forming for well-aging from adulthood to old age to discussed the need for policies and systems to strengthen volunteer motivation as leisure activities.

Analysis of Educational Needs by Adult Life Cycle for Well-aging Education Program Development (웰에이징 교육 프로그램 개발을 위한 성인 생애주기별 교육 요구도 분석)

  • This study aimed to secure basic data for the development and operation of well-aging education programs by analyzing the physical, mental, and socio-economic needs of well-aging education for successful aging. The research tool was developed as a questionnaire to investigate the perception of well aging and the needs of well-aging education in terms of physical, mental, and socio-economic aspects. In February 2021, 1949 adults over the age of 19 were surveyed through an online and mobile survey by Gallup Korea. Descriptive statistics analysis, variance analysis, Borich needs analysis, and IPA analysis were conducted to analyze the needs of well-aging education. The results revealed economic power, exercise, and chronic disease management to be high in terms of the overall priority of the education needs for well-aging, and infectious disease management, independence, and social responsibility were surveyed in the order of low education needs. In terms of economic power, education needs were highest among all age groups except for the middle-age group (35-49 years old), 82.4% of all respondents, and education needs for exercise and chronic disease management were highest in the middle-age group. Therefore, it is necessary to develop well-aging education programs for each life cycle. These results are expected to be used as empirical data in establishing a platform for developing and operating educational programs for well aging.
