In order to manage essential parts that are required for the repairable parts services performed at the military maintenance depots, the United States Air Force developed the Repairability Forecasting Model (RFM). In the RFM, if the requirements of the parts are assumed to follow the normal probability distribution after applying means from the past data to the replacement rate and lead times, the chance of the AWP (Awaiting Parts) occurring is 50%. In this study, to counter the uncertainties of requirements and lead times from the RFM, the safety level concept is considered. To obtain the safety level for requirements, the binomial probability distribution is applied, while the safety level for lead time is obtained by applying the normal probability distribution. After adding this concept, the improved RFM is renamed as the ARFM (Advanced RFM), and by conducting the numerical stimulation, the effectiveness of the ARFM, minimizing the occurrence of the AWP, is shown by increasing the efficiency of the maintenance process and the operating rate of the weapon system.

Background: Various methods are used for recovery of knee flexion range of motion (ROM) due to a tightened rectus femoris muscle (RFM) or limited inferior glide of the patella. Stretching methods are common interventions for restoring the tightened RFM length. Also patellar inferior gliding (PIG) technique can recover tightened RFM length too. However, effect of applying the PIG to passive knee flexion (PKF) has not been studied. Objects: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of combining PIG with RFM stretching for improving knee flexion ROM in subjects with RFM tightness. Methods: Twenty-six subjects with RFM tightness were recruited. Two different methods of knee stretching were tested: 1) PKF during modified Thomas test (MTT) and 2) PKF with PIG during MTT. The passive stretching forces was controlled by hand-held dynamometer. The knee flexion ROM angle was measured by a MTT with ImageJ software. Differences between the conditions with and without PIG were identified with a paired t-test. Results: The knee flexion ROM was significantly greater for PKF with PIG ($114.44{\pm}9.33$) than for PKF alone ($108.97{\pm}9.42$) (p<.001). Conclusion: A combination of passive knee flexion exercise and PIG can be more effective than PKF in increasing knee flexion ROM in individuals with RFM tightness.
The effect of selenium and vitamin E on the incidence of retained fetal membranes(RFM) was evaluated in dairy cows raised in Kyonggi-do province from July through September 1985. Sodium selenite(0.1mg/kg of body weight) and vitamin E (1,000 IU) were simultaneously injected 21 days prior to the expected calving day to Holstein cows and the incidence in the treated group was compared with that in the non-treated control group. Serum levels of selenium, vitamin E, calcium, inorganic phosphorus and magnesium were also determined in the treated and the non-treated groups to compare the status of vitamin E and other minerals during periparturient period in the cows with RFM and the normal ones. The incidence of RFM was 34.5% in cows of the non-treated group (29 heads), whereas it was significantly reduced to 9.7% in cows of the treated group (31 heads) (p<0.05). Data for serum mineral concentrations showed that the prepartal inorganic phosphorus concentration was significantly lower in the RFM than in the not-retained group(p<0.01). As a result, the prepartal Ca/P ratio was significantly higher in the RFM group(p<0.01). It appears that a single injection of 0.1mg of sodium selenite per kg body weight and 1,000 IU of vitamin E 21 days prior to the expected calving day is an effective prophylactic for prevention of RFM, and that RFM may be related to imbalances in calcium and phosphorus metabolism.
Recently, with the growing of social network sites, people's choice is also getting more and more. So the notion of loyalty has become an important construct within the Social Network framework because of member is easy switching on the social networking sites. Despite the increasing importance of social network sites loyalty question, there's very little research in this area. In electronic commerce, the website loyalty development process is based on both website satisfaction and website trust toward the net-enabled business. But how to target the members with high or low loyalty in the social network sites is still a question. In this paper we propose one improved RFM model to evaluate the member loyalty to find the potential members for improving the service quality of the social network site. In addition, an empirical case study is performed to demonstrate how this procedure works. Moreover, further applications of this research are provided for improved social network sites experiences and how to use the model to practice.

This paper proposes the recommendation system which is a new method using RFM method in mobile internet environment. Using a implict method which is not used user's profile for rating, is not used complicated query processing of the request and the response for rating, it is necessary for user to keep the RFM score about users and items based on the whole purchased data in order to recommend the items. As there are some problems which didn't exactly recommend the items with high purchasablity for new customer and new item that do not have the purchase history data. in existing recommendation systems, this proposing system is possible to solve existing problems, and also this system can avoid the duplicated recommendation by the cross comparison with the purchase history data. It can be improved and evaluated according to the criteria of logicality through the experiment with dataset, collected in a cosmetic cyber shopping mall. Finally, it is able to realize the personalized recommendation system with high purchasablity for one to one web marketing through the mobile internet.

Most companies make efforts to maximize their profitability by improving loyalty to existing customers through customer relationship management (CRM). According to the Wikipedia, CRM is a widely implemented strategy for managing a company's interactions with customers, clients and sales prospects. And RFM is a method used for analyzing customer behavior and defining market segments. It is commonly used in database marketing and direct marketing and has received particular attention in retail. In general, one considers recency, frequency, and monetary for customer segmentation in RFM method. In this paper, we apply RFMP method added to the purchase period of advertising items in the traditional RFM model for real estate customer segmentation. We will be able to establish the differentiated marketing strategy by RFMP method.
There are two types of Physical Model and RFM (Rational Function Model) is to determinate ground coordinates using KOMPSAT-2 and KOMPSAT-3 satellite data. Generally, RPCs(Rational Polynomial Coefficients) based on RFM is provided for users. This RPCs is to compute the ground coordinates to the image coordinates. If users produce ortho-image with provided RPCs is useful, directly compute the ground coordinates corresponding to image coordinates and check location accuracy etc. are difficult. In this study, a basic algorithm of inverse RPCs that calculates the image coordinates to ground coordinates, compute based on provided RPCs and evaluation of determinated ground coordinates using developed inverse RPCs were proposed.

Generation of accurate ground coordinates from high resolution satellite image are becoming increasingly of interest. The primary focus of this paper is to compute satellite direct sensor model (DSM) and rational function model (RFM) for accurate generation of ground coordinates from high resolution satellite images. Being based on this we presented an algorithm to be able to efficiently ground coordinates about large area with introducing RFM(rational function model) method applied to rigorous sensor modeling standing on basis of satellite orbit dynamics and collinearity equation, and sensor modeling of high-resolution satellite data like IKONOS, QuickBird, KOMPSAT-2 and others. The general high resolution satellite measures the position, velocity and attitude data of satellite using star, gyro, and GPS sensors.

This paper presents a RFM-based image matching algorithm which put constraints on the search space through the object-space approach. Also, the detail procedure of generating 3-D surface models from the RFM is introduced as an end-user point of view. The proposed algorithm provides the PML (Piecewise Matching Line) for image matching and reduces the search space to within the confined line-shape area.

Marketing has been used the power of data and information technology in the pursuit of personal marketing of products and service to customers, based on their preferences and needs. We analyzed the performance of twenty six combined(RFM and Confidence) response modeling methods that were proposed by Zahavi and Levin(l997) and Sho, et al.(1999). As a result, we were able to increase about 3.5%p. forecasting accuracy of customers response through combination with confidence(C) that is able to consider characteristics of product than using the single RFM model that is practically the most widely used.
