  • 최근 임베디드 운영체제의 중요성이 부각되지만, 임베디드 운영체제의 개발자는 매우 열악한 상황이다. 이에 본 논문에서는 쉽게 접할 수 있는 임베디드 운영체재인 legOS를 소개하고 커널을 분석해보며, legOS의 커널 수정을 통해 RCX간의 통신 수단인 적외선 통신의 한계점을 개선하여, 적외선 통신이 불가능한 RCX간에도 통신이 가능하도록 Routing 기능을 구현하도록 한다.

  • Lego company created a set called Robotic Invention System as a kind of Mindstorm set. This system helps to understand the technology of both robot and programming language. It also improves creativeness by building and controlling the robot we make. This paper will introduce basic idea of controlling the RCX(Programmable Lego Block) in C language. Also, this paper will show different idea of teaching C language by using other types of robots.

  • Programming education can improve problem-solving skills and logical thinking required in a knowledge-based society. However, most conventional programming education spent more time to acquisition of command language and coding process rather than improvement of problem-solving skills and logical thinking, for using programming languages based on foreign language and learners have appeared to lost interest easily. To solve these problems in this paper, interest in programming study was enhanced by making it possible to verify the outcome of highly abstract programming process through a robot as a concrete object. In addition, the Hangul converter of robot programming language based on RCX that elementary school students can use easily was designed and developed. Furthermore, the developed tool was used for six months by students in after-school computer class and therefore learners showed a positive response.

  • 전자전에 투입되는 군장비들의 생존 가능성은 피탐지율과 밀접한 관련이 있다. 이러한 피탐지율을 줄이기 위해서는 레이다 단면적(RCS)의 주요 산란원에 관한 연구와 레이다 단면적 예측 기술에 대한 이해가 선행되어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 레이다 단면적을 예측하는 기술과 레이다 단면적을 측정할 수 있는 단축걸 전계 측정 무반향실(Compact range)에 대해 소개한다.

Optimized Design of Mobile Communication Antenna In the Underground Area (지하공간에서의 이동통신 셀 설계에 관한 연구)

  • In the signals-shadowed areas, In order to providing the suitable signals reception level repeaters are used for relay the signals. Repeater receives the weak signals and amplifies it up to required power level, The amplified signals get radiated by the various methods. Both antenna distribution and LCX(Leakage Coaxial Cable) are typical methods in the repeater and BTS signals radiation. Their applications are depended on the environment condition and frequency band. Generally the antenna distribution are used for the mobile telecommunication networks which use the higher frequency band than 500MHz. On the other side, LCX distribution is suitable to the frequency band under 500MHz. The network plan of repeater in FM, T-DMB, Fire Radio and Internal subway communication network are the typical LCX application fields. Cell planning with repeaters are based on the free space loss, LCX connection loss and actual field data. The actual field data can be the most important factor to design the network planning.

  • In this paper, we introduce software development process for autonomous mobile robot with LEGO RCX. The software is designed from course analysis and a series of software design processes are applied for the development. Various control methods are devised to identify robot's location and to optimize the running strategy. To assure realtime property and reliability of the software, we adopted software engineering processes during the development. In this paper, we report the detailed software design processes and the implementation result that we have experienced with our practical LEGO robot platform.

  • Today`s education is in the 7th education curriculum. But, there is nothing that can be used in the classroom as a tool for education supplement. Easylab is a GUI-programing tool for students who not good at using computers. EasyLab is used in the classroom as a kind of tool to give a rise to ingenuity and creation which need at present education curriculum. When use it, first, learners think of programming-ideas, then program through icon-based software-EasyLab. After programing, the leaner can see the result directly thorough the programing code which are delivered by EasyRobot. So, leaner can study and discuss with the robot`s result. If, the result is incorrect, the robot will do a feedback as a kind of rule. One of the EasyLab`s specific property is that consisted icon-based flow-chart model. And leaner can practice with the robot that have input and output sense.
