  • 오늘날 집적회로의 집적도가 증가되고 있기 때문에 회로 소자는 기생성분의 영향을 최소화하고 회로의 성능을 감소시키는 요인을 최소화하도록 설계되어야 한다. 그래서 칩을 제작하기 전에 레이아웃으로부터 추출한 회로가 정확한가를 검증하고 시뮬레이션으로 추출된 회로가 설계사양을 만족하는지를 확인해야 한다. 본 논문에서는 스택 구조의 MOSFET의 기하학적인 파라미터와 레이아웃 배선 블록의 분산 RC를 추출할 수 있는 새로운 블록 분할 기법을 제안한다. 폴디드 캐스코드 CMOS 연산 증폭기의 레이아웃에 이 기법을 작용하여 회로를 추출하고, Hspice로 시뮬레이션을 수행하여 전기적 연결관계와 이들 소자의 영향을 검증하였다.

Development of Security Service for Mobile Internet Banking Using Personal Digital Assistants

  • The fusion of Internet technology and applications with wireless communication provides a new business model and promises to extend the possibilities of commerce to what is popularly called mobile commerce, or m-commerce. In mobile Internet banking service through wireless local area network, security is a most important factor to consider. We describe the development of security service for mobile Internet banking on Personal Digital Assistants (PDAs). Banking Server and Authentication Server were developed to simulate banking business and to support certificate management of authorized clients, respectively. To increase security, we took hybrid approach in implementation: symmetric block encryption and public-key encryption. Hash function and random number generation were exploited to generate a secret key. The data regarding banking service were encrypted with symmetric block encryption, RC4, and the random number sequence was done with public-key encryption. PDAs communicate through IEEE 802.IIb wireless LAN (Local Area Network) to access banking service. Several banking services and graphic user interfaces, which emulatedthe services of real bank, were developed to verity the working of each security service in PDA, the Banking Server, and the Authentication Server.

고강도 철근 콘크리트 기둥의 실험 및 강도해석 (Experiment and Strength Analysis of High-Strength RC Columns)

  • 본 논문은 고강도 콘크리트기둥에 대한 설계방법을 검증하는 연구의 일부로서, 보통강도 및 고강도 콘크리트기둥시편에 대하여 편심하중의 재하실험을 수행하여 파괴거동을 관찰하고 기둥강도를 측정하였다. 기둥시편은 모두 32개로 콘크리트 압축강도, 종방향 철근비, 세장비, 재하편심을 실험의 주요변수로 선정하였다. 콘크리트 압축강도는 356~951 kg/$cm^$ 이며, 종방향철근비는 1.13~5.51 %, 세장비는 19, 40, 61의 3 종류로 하였다. ACI의 직사각형 응력블럭, Ibrahim과 MacGregor의 수정된 직사각형 응력블럭, 사다리꼴 응력 블럭을 이용한 기둥강도해석과 축력-모멘트-곡률해석을 통한 기둥강도해석을 수행하였으며, 실험결과와 비교분석하였다. 현시방서에서 적용하고 있는 직사각형 응력블럭은 철근비가 낮은 고강도 콘크리트기둥에 대하여 비안전측의 축력-모멘트강도를 제공한다. 축력-모멘트-곡률해석을 통한 기둥강도해석시에는 콘크리트 응력-변형률곡선의 최대응력을 결정하는 $k_3$ 값에 따라 정확성 및 안전성이 좌우된다. 또한, 본 논문에서는 재하실험을 통한 기둥의 파괴거동, 압축연단 극한변형률, 응력블럭변수 등을 비교분석하였다.

PSC보의 박스화 보강방법의 신뢰성해석 (A Reliability Analysis on the To-Box Reinforcement Method of PSC Beam Bridges)

  • The goal of this study is to show the way to increase the safety of deteriorated PSC beam bridges by the to-box reinforcing method. This method is to change the open girder section into the closed box section by connecting bottom flanges of neighboring PSC girders with the precast panels embedding PS tendons at the anchor block. The box section is composed of three concrete members with different casting ages, RC slab, PSC beam, precast panel. This different aging requires a time-dependent analysis considering construction sequences. Reliability index and failure probability are produced by the AFOSM reliability analysis. Transversely five schemes and longitudinally two schemes are considered. The full reinforcing scheme, transversely and longitudinally, shows the highest reliability index, but it requires more cost for retrofit. The partial reinforcing scheme 4, 4-1 are recommended in this study as the economically best scheme.

  • The supply voltage has been drop rapidly and the total length of the wire increased exponentially in the nanometer SoC design environment. The ideal supply voltage was dropped sharply by the resistance and parasitic devices which stayed on the kilometers-long wire length. Even worse, it could severely affect the functional behavior of the block of the design. To analyze the effects of the long wire of the SoC while maintaining the accuracy, the modeling of the current and the RC conversion of the parasitic techniques are researched and applied. By these modeling and conversion, the multi-million gates HDTV Chipset can be analyzed within a day. The benchmark analysis of the HDTV SoC showed the superiority to the conventional methods in performance and accuracy.

Accurate Non-Quasi-Static Gate-Source Impedance Model of RF MOSFETs

  • An improved non-quasi-static gate-source impedance model including a parallel RC block for short-channel MOSFETs is developed to simulate RF MOSFET input characteristics accurately in the wide range of high frequency. The non-quasi-static model parameters are accurately determined using the physical input equivalent circuit. This improved model results in much better agreements between the measured and modelled input impedance than a simple one with a non-quasi-static resistance up to 40GHz, verifying its accuracy.

철근 콘크리트 기둥의 2축휨 강도에 영향을 미치는 변수 고찰 (An Evaluation of Influencing Parameters on Biaxial Bending Moment Strength of Reinforced Concrete Columns)

  • In the PCA Load Contour Method, the biaxial bending design coefficient of columns(${\beta}$) is based on the equivalent rectangular stress block (RSB). And coefficient of ${\beta}$ estimates the reinforcement index to be a influencing parameter on biaxial moment strength of RC columns without considering the arbitrary condition of bar arrangement. The experimental results of high strength concrete (HSC) columns subjected to combined axial load and biaxial bending moment were compared to the analysis results of RSB method. As result, the accuracy of RSB method is still acceptable for HSC columns and, as the reinforcement is placed densely in each corner of column section, the ${\beta}$ is decreased.

  • Wooden-sleeper, which has been adopted as railway turnout in Korea, has created many problems such as short life span and increase of maintenance cost. Especially turnout on Maintenance Free slab track, which has been used in city metro, has been constructed with wooden sleeper buried in concrete roadbed due to complexity of structure. However, such problem as rapid erosion in subground makes it difficult to maintain the sleeper because of frequent replacement required. Therefore, the objective of this paper is to introduce design and construction of reinforced concrete(R.C) sleeper for turnout on the concrete roadbed to facilitate maintainability and economic construction of turnout.

직물의 역학적 특성으로부터 셔츠의 의복형성성 예측에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Prediction of Clothing formability of Men's Shirts from Mechanical Properties)

  • This study, by explaining the relationship between mechanical properties and clothing formability, aims to propose functional data for tailoring performance of fabrics of good tailorability. The KES-FB system was used to measure factors of mechanical properties and also the technique of stepwise-block-regression method was applied to investigate relationship between functional properties and mechanical properties of men's shirks. As results of vasual inspection of men's shirts, it showed that good fabrics had higher value in the LT, bending properties, shear properties and RC than poor fabrics in Total Appearance Value(TAV). And finally, A formula was obtained for calculating the VIA of men's shirts from functional properties which were calculated from the mechanical properties.

Influence of mass and contact surface on pounding response of RC structures

  • Pounding damage to bridges and buildings is observed in most major earthquakes. The damage mainly occurs in reinforced concrete slabs, e.g. building floors and bridge decks. This study presents the results from pounding of reinforced concrete slabs. A parametric investigation was conducted involving the mass of the pendulums, the relative velocities of impact and the geometry of the contact surface. The effect of these parameters on the coefficient of restitution and peak impact acceleration is shown. In contrast to predictions from numerical force models, it was observed that peak acceleration is independent of mass. The coefficient of restitution is affected by the impact velocity, total participating mass and the mass ratio of striker and struck block.
