We studied the optimal location where the radiation dose of radiological technologists is minimally measured. The measured scatter dose has been compared with the distance inverse square law. We measured the primary X-ray with different tube conditions (60, 70, 81 and 90 kVp) and distances (60, 120 and 180 cm). The scatter ray has been measured with various locations (42.5, 52.4 and 62.4 cm for front and back side, 0 to 60 cm with 10 cm interval for left and right side). The results of this study showed that the dose of primary X-ray was attenuated to 20.52 (27.20%), 28.58 (25.20%), 38.82 (26.32%) and 48.20 mR (26.27%) for each tube voltages at 120 cm. In addition, The dose were 7.06 (8.91%), 9.90 (8.73%), 13.64 (9.25%) and 16.60 mR (9.05%) at 180 cm. As for the scatter in front and back side, the attenuated dose were 0.15 mR (23.09%) and 0.15 mR (22.08%) at 120 cm, and 0.07 mR (10.43%) and 0.06 mR (8.83%) at 180 cm. Scatter was decreased in third quadrant. Therefore, it is recommended that radiological technologists should keep long distance from the object.

In [8], we introduced the concept of fuzzy r-minimal structure which is an extension of smooth fuzzy topological spaces and fuzzy topological spaces in Chang's sense. And we also introduced and studied the fuzzy r-M continuity. In this paper, we introduce the concepts of fuzzy r-minimal compactness on fuzzy r-minimal compactness and nearly fuzzy r-minimal compactness, almost fuzzy r-minimal spaces and investigate the relationships between fuzzy r-M continuous mappings and such types of fuzzy r-minimal compactness.

In recent years, xenon plasma arc lamp was introduced for high-intensity curing of composite filling materials in direct resin restorations. In this study, two types of restorative materials, namely composites point $4^{(R)}$ and $Z250^{(R)}$ were selected and curing was conducted using a conventional halogen light and two plama curing lights. Two different resin composites were cured using the different units($Flipo^{(R)}$, Ultra-lite 180A, and $TriLight^{(R)}$) and tested for microhardness. The purpose of this study was to test the hypothesis that exposure to a plasma curing lamp for 3, 6. 9 seconds is equivalent to 20 or 40 seconds of irradiation using a conventional halogen curing unit. 1. $Flipo^{(R)}$ and Ultra-lite 180A were able to polymerize point $4^{(R)}$ at 6 seconds to a degree equal to that of the $TriLight^{(R)}$(control) at 40 seconds. 2. $Flipo^{(R)}$ was able to polymerize $Z250^{(R)}$ at 9 seconds to a degree equal to that of the $TriLight^{(R)}$(control) on the bottom surface at 20 seconds. whereas Ultra-lite 180A could not do. 3. Two plasma curing units were able to cure the test-composites with bottom/top ratios approximately 61% to 96% at 3 to 9 seconds. There were some differences between the two composite brands, with $Z250^{(R)}$ displaying less difference between top and bottom hardness values. For point $4^{(R)}$ and $Z250^{(R)}$, at least 6 or 9 seconds were necessary to produce microhardness equivalent to that of the $TriLight^{(R)}$ curing at 20 or 40 seconds.

The performances of refrigeration truck systems using R404A and R134a were investigated by experimental testing, and compared. The optimal COPs of the R404A and R134a systems were 2.96 and 3.42, when the refrigerant charge amount was 1.3 kg and 1.4 kg, respectively. When the indoor side air temperature increased from $5^{\circ}C$ to $9^{\circ}C$, the total exergy destruction rate of the R404A system was on average 39.1% higher than that of the R134a system. In addition, the exergy efficiency of the R404A system was 12.9% higher than that of R134a system, for various indoor air temperatures. When the outdoor side air temperature increased from $25^{\circ}C$ to $35^{\circ}C$, the total exergy destruction rate of the R404A and R134a systems decreased by 18.9% and 19.5%, respectively. In addition, the exergy efficiency of the R404A and R134a systems increased by 25.2% and 30.7%, respectively. As the compressor rotating speed increased, the COP of the R404A and R134a systems decreased by 23.6% and 18.4%. The total exergy destruction rate and exergy efficiency of the R404A system were 27.2% and 15.7% higher than those of R134a system, respectively. Compared to the R404A system, the R134a system showed a higher COP and a lower exergy destruction rate; thus it can be concluded that the R134a system has the better performance.

Seventy-five streptococci were isolated from diseased olive flounder, Paralichthys olivaceus in Jeju. Their drug susceptibility and transferable multiple drug resistance were characterized. All isolates were resistant to flumequine (AR) and oxolinic acid (OA) and 26 isolates (34.7%) showed 4~6 multiple resistance of ampicillin (ABPC), AR, doxycycline (DOXY), erythromycin (EM), norfloxacin(NOR), OA and oxytetracycline (OTC) in various combinations. pST9 of a transferable R plasmid was detected from a multiple drug resistance strain, Streptococcus sp., ST9 originated from diseased flounder in Jeju, previously. We performed DNA hybridization to know the distribution of plasmid with the same DNA structure as pST9 in streptococci. Thirteen out of 60 isolates analyzed were positive in colony DNA hybridization and the part of bacteria isolated from raw meal was also hybridized with pST9. It suggested that raw meal is one of the origin of the resistance plasmid and R plasmid with DNA structure differing from pST9 is also involving in multiple drug resistance of the streptococci. In conjugation experiment, we found transferable R plasmid carrying OTC, DOXY and/or EM resistance determinant in the 13 resistance strains. all of the streptococci carrying the transferable R plasmid were similar in RAPD patterns. However, pST -type R plasmid was rare in S. iniae most frequently appearing in flounder farm.

Bacillus subtilis C9 was selected by measuring the oil film-collapsing activity and produced biosurfactant in a medium containing glucose as a sole carbon source. The biosurfactant emulsified hydrocarbons, vegetable oils and crude oil, and lowered the surface tension of culture broth to 28 dyne/cm. A biosurfactant, C9-BS produced by B. subtilis C9 was purified by ultrafiltration, extraction with chloroform and methanol, adsorption chromatography, and preparative reversed phase HPLC. Structural analyses, IR spectroscopy, FAB mass spectroscopy, amino acid composition, and NMR analyses, demonstrated that C9-BS was a lipopeptide comprising a fatty acid tail and peptide moiety. The lipophilic part consisting of $C_{14}\;or\;C_{15}$ hydroxy fatty acid was linked to the hydrophilic peptide part, which contained seven amino acids (Glu-Leu-Leu-Val-Asp-Leu-Leu) with a lactone linkage.
