국내에 서식하는 꽃에서 분리한 야생 효모 분포 및 종 다양성 (Distribution and Species Diversity of Wild Yeasts Isolated from Flowers in Korea)

  • 국내에 서식하는 꽃에서 다양한 토착 효모를 분리 및 확보하고 효모의 분포 특성과 종 다양성에 관해 연구하였다. 국내 25지역에서 꽃 9종 77개체를 채집한 후 효모를 순수분리하였다. 효모 502균주의 large-subunit (LSU) rDNA 염기서열을 분석 및 상동성 비교로 각 효모의 종을 동정하였다. 분리된 효모는 총 50종으로 동정 되었고, 모든 꽃 시료로부터 Aureobasidium pullulans, A. leucospermi, Filobasidium magnum이 분리되었다. 꽃에 우점한 효모 3종을 제외하고, 효모 균주 수가 적게 분리된 종은 지역과 분리원에 따른 유의성을 확인할 수는 없었다. 본 연구를 통해 꽃으로부터 확보한 국내 토착 효모 50종은 산업적 활용을 위한 자원으로써 역할을 기대할 수 있고, 추후 효모와 기주 간의 상호작용이나 효모다양성 연구의 기초자료로써 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

비파괴적 수간석해를 통한 원주시 주요 가로수 4수종의 지상부 상대생장식 개발 (Determining the Aboveground Allometric Equations of Major Street Tree Species in Wonju, South Korea using the Nondestructive Stem Analysis Method)

  • 국가 온실가스 인벤토리 항목 중 정주지는 활동자료 부족 등의 이유로 보고되지 않고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 정주지 수목의 탄소저장량 추정에 필요한 기초자료로서 원주시 가로수 4수종(메타세쿼이아, 살구나무, 은행나무, 중국단풍)의 상대생장식을 개발하였다. 레이저 덴드로미터를 이용하여 수종별로 30본씩 비파괴적인 수간석해를 진행하였다. 이후 5개 모델의 지상부 재적 상대생장식과 수관면적을 독립변수로 한 흉고직경 상대생장식을 개발하였다. 가장 적합도가 높은 식으로 메타세쿼이아와 은행나무에서 aD2+bD+c, 살구나무에서 aD+bD2, 중국단풍에서 a+bD2 식을 선정하였다. 수관면적을 독립변수로 한 흉고직경 상대생장식에서는 은행나무와 중국단풍에서 결정계수가 0.364 이하로 낮게 나타났으며 메타세쿼이아와 살구나무는 0.767 이상으로 높게 나타났다. 이는 가로수 관리에 따른 차이라고 판단되며 수관면적을 이용한 재적의 추정은 자연수형을 유지하는 수종에 사용 가능할 것으로 사료된다. 본 연구는 정주지 탄소흡수량을 측정하기 위한 기초자료로 사용될 수 있으며 도시림 관리에 의한 수목의 변화를 모니터링하는데 사용될 수 있다.

가스크로마토그래피/질량분석기를 이용한 식품 중 클로로프로판올 화합물 분석 (A sensitive analytical method for determination of 3-monochloropropane-1,2-diol and 1,3-dichloropropan-2-ol in various foods by gas chromatography with mass spectrometer)

  • 식품 중 클로로프로판올 화합물인 3-MCPD (3-monochloropropane-1,2-diol, $C_3H_7ClO_2$, MW. 110) 및 1,3-DCP (1,3-dichloropropan-2-ol, $C_3H_6Cl_2O$, MW. 128)를 분석하는 효과적인 방법을 확립하였다. 시료를 5M NaCl용액으로 균질화 한 후 알루미늄옥사이드와 섞어 유리컬럼에 충진하고 디클로로메탄으로 시료 중 클로로프로판올 화합물을 용출하였다. 용출된 클로로프로판올 화합물은 감압증류장치와 질소가스로 농축한 뒤 HFBA (Heptafluorobutyric anhydride, $C_8F_{14}O_3$, MW. 410)로 유도체화하여 GC/MS로 분석하였다. 3-MCPD-HFBA 유도체화 화합물(MW. 502)은 m/z 253, 275, 289, 291, 453를 선택이온으로 하고 1,3-DCP-HFBA 유도체화 화합물(MW. 325)은 110, 275, 277를 선택이온으로 설정하여 정성 정량 하였다. 확립된 분석법의 정량한계는 3-MCPD 및 1,3-DCP 모두 0.01 mg/kg이었고, 0.01~1.00 mg/kg의 농도범위에서 직선성($R^2{\geq}0.999$)이 좋았으며 평균회수율은 약 97%내외였다. 확립된 분석법을 이용하여 다양한 식품 중 클로로프로판올 화합물을 조사한 결과, 0.0~0.3 mg/kg (n=56/157) 수준으로 3-MCPD로 검출되었다.

근적외선 분광을 이용한 딸기의 당도예측모델 개발 (Development of Prediction Model for Sugar Content of Strawberry Using NIR Spectroscopy)

  • 본 연구에서는 딸기의 당도예측모델을 개발하기 위하여 수행하였으며, 딸기의 당도판정에 보다 적합한 조명장치를 설계하기 위해 조명의 영향을 구명하고, 딸기의 당도예측 모델을 개발하였으며, 주요연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 조명방법에 따른 당도 예측 성능을 비교한 결과 4개의 램프로 시료를 직접 조명하는 경우 $r_{SEP}$= 0.603, SEP = 0.502$^{\circ}$Bx으로 나타났으며, 광 화이버로 빛을 유인하여 국부적으로 시료에 점 조명한 경우(광 화이버 3개 사용)에는 $r_{SEP}$= 0.715, SEP = 0.433$^{\circ}$Bx으로서 후자가 더 좋은 성능을 나타내었다. 또한 램프 반사면의 금 코팅 유무에 따른 당도판정 성능시험을 실시한 결과 금 코팅된 할로겐램프를 사용한 경우 $r_{SEP}$= 0.837, SEP = 0.510$^{\circ}$Bx으로서 그렇지 않은 경우의 $r_{SEP}$= 0.756, SEP = 0.580$^{\circ}$Bx보다 양호한 결과가 나타나 금 코팅에 대한 당도판정 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 딸기 당도판정을 위한 최적 회귀모델을 개발하기 위하여 PLSR과 PCR을 이용하였다. 전처리를 하지 않은 경우 $r_{SEP}$= 0.860, SEP=0.498$^{\circ}$Bx로 양호한 결과가 나타났으나, 가장 좋은 결과는 상기에서 언급된 최적의 조명상태에서 측정된 스펙트럼 데이터에 OSC 전처리를 한 경우 $r_{SEP}$= 0.891, SEP = 0.443$^{\circ}$Bx, LV=14로 가장 양호한 결과를 나타내었다. 한편, PCR을 이용한 당도 예측은 전처리를 하지 않은 경우 $r_{SEP}$= 0.845, SEP = 0.520$^{\circ}$Bx, LV=17으로서 DT 전처리에서의 $r_{SEP}$= 0.845, SEP = 0.521$^{\circ}$Bx, LV=17보다 오히려 높게 나타나 전처리에 따른 효과는 없는 것으로 나타났다.

낮은 유량에서 외경 9.5 mm 평활관과 마이크로핀관 내 R-404A 증발 열전달 및 압력 손실 (Evaporation Heat Transfer and Pressure Drop of R-404A at Low Flow Rates in 9.5 mm O.D. Smooth and Microfin Tubes)

  • 그간 마이크로핀관 내 증발 열전달 및 압력 손실에 대하여 다수의 연구가 수행되었다. 하지만 대부분의 연구는 에어컨이나 히트 펌프에 사용되는 냉매에 대하여 수행되었고 R-404A에 대해서는 매우 제한된 연구만이 존재한다. R-404A는 근공비혼합냉매로 오존층 파괴와 관련하여 R-502를 대체하여 주로 저온 냉동, 냉장에 사용되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 낮은 질량유속 ($80kg/m^2s$에서 $200kg/m^2s$)에서 외경 9.5 mm 마이크로핀관 내 R-404A 증발 열전달 실험을 수행하였다. 또한 비교를 위해 외경 9.5 mm 평활관에 대한 실험도 수행하였다. 실험 결과 마이크로핀관의 전열촉진비는 질량유속이 증가할수록, 열유속이 감소할수록 증가하였다. 이러한 현상은 마이크로핀에 의한 대류 열전달의 증가와 열유속의 상대적 기여에 의한 것으로 판단된다. 또한 실험 범위에서 마이크로핀관의 마찰손실이 평활관의 마찰손실보다 다소 (최대 28%) 크게 나타났다. 기존 상관식은 저유량 R-404A 열전달계수 및 압력손실을 적절히 예측하지 못하는데 이는 본 실험 범위가 기존 상관식의 범위 밖에 있기 때문으로 판단된다.

119 구급대원의 임파워먼트와 직무만족과의 관계 (The Relationship Between the Empowerment and the Job Satisfaction of 119 Emergency Medical Technician)

  • Objective : The objective of this study was to survey the job-related empowerment and job satisfaction of 119 emergency medical technicians provide emergency patients with first aid, to examine the correlation between their empowerment and job satisfaction, and to provide basic materials for developing programs to enhance 119 emergency medical technicians' empowerment and job satisfaction. Methods : The survey was conducted with 249 119 emergency medical technicians working at fire stations in an area of Gyeonggi-do during the period from June 26 to August 21, 2009. Using SPSS 14.0 program, we obtained frequencies percentages, means, and standard deviations, and performed independent two sample t-test, one way ANOVA, and Pearson correlation analysis, and Cronbach's ${\alpha}$. Results : 1) The mean score of the subjects' empowerment was 3.32, and that of their job satisfaction was 2.94. 2) As to difference according to general characteristics, no statistically significant difference was observed in empowerment but job satisfaction was statistically significantly different according to gender(t = 2.296, p = .023). 3) As to difference according to job related characteristics, empowerment was significantly different according to license type(F = 3.767, p = .011), and job satisfaction was statistically significantly different according to position(t = 3.222, p = .042), fire fighting experience(t = 2.689, p = .035), and first aid experience(t = 3.991, p = .007). 4) Empowerment was in a positive correlation with job satisfaction(r = .502, p = .000) in general, and by the sub areas of job satisfaction, the correlation with empowerment was high in order of job itself(r = .695, p = .000), interaction area(r = .493, p = .000), organizational demand area(r = .328, p = .000), working condition area(r = .153, p = .015), and wage area(r = .137, p = .031). By the sub areas of empowerment, the correlation with job satisfaction was high in order of significance(r = .424, p = .000), influence(r = .397, p = .000), competence(r = .372, p = .000), and self determination(r = .259, p = .000). Conclusion : The 119 emergency medical technicians' empowerment was in a high correlation with their job satisfaction, and had a strong effect on it. This suggests that 119 emergency medical technicians' job performance can be enhanced by improving their empowerment. These results are expected to be useful in making human resource management plans to enhance 119 emergency medical technicians' job satisfaction by empowering them.

중년기 여성의 건강행위와 폐경증상, 성생활 만족도와의 관계 (Correlational Study on Health Behaviors, Menopausal Symptoms and Sexual Satisfaction in Korean Middle-aged Women)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identity the relationships among self reported health behaviors, menopausal symptoms, and sexual satisfaction in middle-aged women. Method: The subjects of this study were 155 women from 40 to 60 years. The data was analyzed using SPSS program for frequency, percentage, mean, t-test, ANOVA, Duncan and Pearson's correlation coefficients. Results: 1. The mean score of health behaviors was 3.10 out of maximum 4. 2. The mean score of self-reported menopausal symptoms was 1.73 out of maximum 2. 3. The mean score of sexual satisfaction was 2.73 out of maximum 4. 4. Women's degree of menopausal symptoms had negative correlations with the degree of health behaviors(r=-0.437, p<.001) and the degree of sexual satisfaction(r=-0.439, p<.001). The degree of health behaviors had a positive correlation with the degree of sexual satisfaction (r=0.470, p<.001). Conclusion: In conclusion, menopausal symptoms-based complaints by middle-aged women were negatively correlated to health behavior and sexual satisfaction. Therefore, health behavior should be considered when developing nursing strategies for middle-aged women, especially when dealing with menopausal symptoms and sexual satisfaction.

REA를 고려한 Lineament density map의 작성 방안 연구

  • Lineament density maps can be used for the quantitative evaluation of relationship between lineaments and groundwater occurrence. There are several kinds of lineament density maps including lineament length density, lineament cross-points density, and lineament counts density maps. This paper reports the usefulness of the representative elementary area (REA) concept for lineament analysis. This concept refers to the area size of the unit circle to calculate the lineament density factors distributed within the circle: length, counts and cross-points counts. The circle is a unit circle that calculates the sum of the lineament length, lineament counts and the number of cross-points within it. The REA is needed to obtain the best representative lineament density map prior to the analysis of relation between lineaments and groundwater well yield or other groundwater characteristics. A basic lineament map for the Yongsangang-Seomjingang watershed of Korea, drawn from aerial black-and-white photographs of 1/20, 000 scale was used for demonstrating the concept. From this study, the conclusions were as follows: (1) the REA concept can be efficiently applied to the lineament density analysis and mapping, (2) for whole Yongsangang-Seomjingang watershed which has 6, 502 lineaments with an average lineament length of 3.3 km, the lower limits of each REA used for drawing the three density maps were about 1.77 $\textrm{km}^2$ (r=750 m) for lineament length density, 7.07 $\textrm{km}^2$ (r=1, 500 m) for lineament counts density, and 4.91 $\textrm{km}^2$ (r=1, 250 m) for lineament cross-points density, respectively, (3) the lineament densities are inversely proportional to the size of REA, and the REA can be calculated with this inversely linear regression model, (4) if the average lineament density values for the whole study area are known, the most accurate density maps can be drawn using the REAs obtained from each linear regression model, and (5) but critical attention should be paid to draw lineament counts density and lineament cross-points density maps because.

청소년의 건강상태 설명요인 (Determinants of Health Status in Adolescents)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to measure the levels of Health status, perceived stress, self-esteem, and achievement motivation and assertive behavior of adolescents. The relationships among these variables as well as predictors of health status were examined. Method: The sample was composed of 496 students (male: 195. female: 301) from 3 high schools in Seoul and Kyunggi-Do regions. The instruments used in this study were as follows: health status scale developed by Noh (1991), perceived stress scale developed by Park(1996), self-esteem scale developed by Rosenberg (1965), achievement motivation scale developed by Park(1986) and assertive behavior scale developed by Kim(1982). The reliability of the five instruments were examined using Chronbachs' a that ranged from, .63 to .90 in this study. The data were analyzed with the SAS program using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Duncan multiple comparison, Pearson correlation coefficients, and stepwise multiple regression. Results: The results were as follows: 1. The mean score .of health status was 3.1, which was higher than the median of the instrument. 2. There were significant correlations of health status with self-esteem (r=.381. p=.0001), assertive behavior (r=.503. p=.0001), and perceived stress (r=-.352. p=.0001). 3. Stepwise multiple regression analysis showed that 34% of health status was affected by the level of assertive behavior (25%), self-esteem (7%), and perceived stress (2%). Conclusion: Based on these findings, assertive behavior and self-esteem appear to be specific important areas of future research as to better understand the health status of adolescents, and to develop health status-related interventions for them.

Mapping the Spatial Distribution of IRG Growth Based on UAV

  • Italian Ryegrass (IRG), which is known as high yielding and the highest quality winter annual forage crop, is grown in mid-south area in Korea. The objective of this study was to evaluate the use of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) for the monitoring IRG growth. Unmanned aerial vehicle imagery obtained from middle March to late May in Nonsan, Chungcheongnam-do. Unmanned aerial vehicle imagery corrected geometrically and atmospherically to calculate normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI). We analyzed the relationships between $NDVI_{UAV}$ of IRG and biophysical measurements such as plant height, fresh weight, and dry weight over an entire IRG growth period. The similar trend between $NDVI_{UAV}$ and growth parameters was shown. Correlation analysis between $NDVI_{UAV}$ and IRG growth parameters revealed that $NDVI_{UAV}$ was highly correlated with fresh weight (r=0.988), plant height (r=0.925), and dry weight (r=0.853). According to the relationship among growth parameters and $NDVI_{UAV}$, the temporal variation of $NDVI_{UAV}$ was significant to interpret IRG growth. Four different regression models, such as (1) Linear regression function, (2) Linear regression through the origin, (3) Power function, and (4) Logistic function were developed to evaluate the relationship between temporal $NDVI_{UAV}$ and measured IRG growth parameters. The power function provided higher accurate results to predict growth parameters than linear or logistic functions using coefficient of determination. The spatial distribution map of IRG growth was in strong agreement with the field measurements in terms of geographical variation and relative numerical values when $NDVI_{UAV}$ was applied to power function. From these results, $NDVI_{UAV}$ can be used as a new tool for monitoring IRG growth.
