Improvement of Flexural Capacity of Reinforced Concrete Beams Retrofitted by CFS (CFS로 보강된 철근콘크리트 보의 휨내력향상효과에 관한 연구)

  • This study is to examine the feasibility of carbon fiber sheet(CFS), a kind of fiber reinforced plastic(FRP), for a repair and reinforcement of R/C beams. The flexural strength of R/C beams, that were preloaded and then the cracks were repaired, maintains that of the uncracked R/C beams. The flexural strength of R/C beams increases with the reinforcement of CFS. In order to practically apply the repair and reinforcement method, further research is needed for the distribution, amount, and bond of CFS. In this study, an experiment was conducted for R/C beams reinforced with CFS, for various wrapping method and amounts of CFS. Experimental results showed the wrapping method increasing the bond area and amount of CFS layer caused the increase in the strength of the beams. It is found that the strength of CFS should be used as 70% of the maximum strength in retrofitting reinforced concrete beams in evaluating flexural capacity on the basis of ultimate strength design method.

Stability Analysis of Multi-Functional Fishway with Underground Passage (지하이동통로가 구비된 다기능 어도의 안정성 검토)

  • In this paper, Reinforced concrete (R/C) and R/C+steel plate concrete slab was carried out by SAP2000 software program in order to compare the stability of the multi-functional fishway, that is Bonggok fishway, built at Bonggok river recently in Gumi city, when the size of underground passage is $1m{\times}0.2m$, $1m{\times}0.4m$, $1m{\times}0.6m$ and the velocity is 0.8m/s, 1.2m/s, 1.6m/s respectively for the S2 (R/C+S/C). The analysis shows the maximum stress of S2 decreases less 26~50% than that of Bonggok, bending moment of sidewall decreases less 28~54%, maximum stress of side wall decreases less 17~31%, bending moment of upper slab decreases less 24~47%, maximum stress of upper slab decreases less 4~20%, and bending moment decreases less 10~27% than that of Bonggok. The complementation is required as much as the following percent; 27% and 25% for the maximum stress and bending moment of underground passage, 15% and 24% for the side wall maximum stress and bending moment, and 10% and 14% for the upper slab maximum stress and bending moment, respectively. This result shows that the S2 is greatly superior to that of the Bonggok fishway, and underground passage size of $1m{\times}0.4m$ is superior to that of $1m{\times}0.2m$ or $1m{\times}0.6m$, and R/C+S/C slab is superior to that of R/C slab. This result is expected to be the basic data for the construction and design of the multi-functional fishway.

Microstructure and Characteristics Change of the HVOF Sprayed $\textrm{Cr}_{3}\textrm{C}_{2}$-20wt%(NiCr) Coatings by Heat Treatment (HVOF 용사된 $\textrm{Cr}_{3}\textrm{C}_{2}$-20wt%(NiCr)층의 열처리에 따른 미세구조 및 특성 변화)

  • C $r_{3}$ $C_{2}$-20wt% NiCr 이 크래드된 분말을 이용하여 HVOF 용사층의 특성(미세조직, 결정상, 경도 그리고 erosion rate)에 미치는 연료/산소 비(=3.2,3.0,2.8,2.6)의 영향을 조사했다. 실험범위 내에서 F/O=3.0의 경우가 C $r_{3}$ $C_{2}$-20wt%(NiCr)크래드 분말의 최적용사조건 이었다. XRD분석결과 F/O비에 관계없이 카바이드분해는 일어 났다. C $r_{3}$ $C_{2}$에서C $r_{7}$ $C_{3}$로의 상변화는 F/O비가 감소함에 따라 증가했다. 열처리 온도가 높아짐에 따라 C $r_{7}$ $C_{3}$분율은 증가 하였으며, 100$0^{\circ}C$에서 50시간 열처리후 용사층의 주된상은 C $r_{7}$ $C_{3}$이였다. 용사상태에서 경도값은 F/O=3.0조건으로 용사된 코팅층이 $H_{v300}$-1040으로 가장 높았으며, 공기중에서 $600^{\circ}C$, 50시간 열처리한 후, 경도값은 1340으로 증가하였다. 그리고 80$0^{\circ}C$열처리 후 경도값은 약간 감소하였다. 그러나 100$0^{\circ}C$ 열처리 후에도 1060정도로 용사상태의 경우 보다는 높은 경도값을 유지하였다. 이와같이 경도값이 증가하는 이유는 열처리에 따라 용사층이 치밀하게 되고 또한 C $r_{2}$ $O_{3}$의 산화물이 C $r_{3}$ $C_{2}$/C $r_{7}$ $C_{3}$ 내에 생성되어 탄화물/산화물 복합체를 이루기 때문으로 생각된다. 용사상태에서 drosion rate는 F/O비에 따라 2.6-3.05x$10^{-4}$mg/g까지 변화하였다. 또한 $600^{\circ}C$열처리 후에는 2.15-2.3 x $10^{-4}$mg/g이였으며, 80$0^{\circ}C$에서 열처리한 후에는 2.3-2.4x$10^{-4}$mg/g으로 $600^{\circ}C$열처리후 보다 약간 높은 결과를 보였다.결과를 보였다.

Simplified Analysis and Design with Finite Element for Reinforced Concrete Shear Walls Using Limit State Equations (한계상태방정식에 의한 R/C 전단벽의 유한요소 간편 해석과 설계)

  • The present study is to investigate the ultimate behavior and limit state design of 2-I) R/C structures, with the changing of crack direction, and the yielding of the reinforcing steel bars, and Is to introduce an algorithm for the limit state design and analysis of 2-D R/C structures, directly from the finite element model. For the design of reinforcement in concrete the limit state design equation is incorporated into finite element algorithm to be based on the pointwise elemental ultimate behavior. It is also introduced a simplified nonlinear analysis algorithm for stress-strain relationship of R/C plane stress problem considering the cracking and its rotation in concrete and the yielding of the reinforcing steel bar. The algorithm is incorporated into the nonlinear finite element analysis. The analysis model is compared with the experimental model of R/C shear wall. In a simple design example for a shear wall, the required reinforcement ratios in each finite element is obtained from the limit state design equations.

  • As for the deformation measurement of structure, there are many controversial points in using the methods by the strain guage, inclinometer, bial guage, and geodetic method because of the difficulty of instrument setting and the problem in the degree of accuracy of the results as well as in the economical aspect. Therefore, to verify the superiority of the Close- Range Photogrammetry method for the structural deformation measurement, the result of load deformation on the model structure, which was made using the Close-Range Photogrammetry method was compard with the results which was made using the methods of dial guage, precision level, and triangulation. In addition to that, to consider the general problem which would happen when C. R. P method was applied to the practical structure. The elements of C. R. P method like camera rotation angle ($\psi$,$\omega$), exposure elevation (Z$_{L}$), and angle of inclined base line ($\theta$) were experimented, and their specificities were reconsidered. As a result, the application of C. R. P method to the general structure is expected to be increased not only in the aspect of accuracy but in the economical aspect.t.

Investigation about the Decrease Efficiency of Thermal Discharge Temperature at Mixing Basin of Power Plant using 3-D CFD (3차원 수치모의에 의한 발전소 배수로 혼합지에서의 온배수 수온저감 효과에 대한 고찰)

  • 본 연구는 화력 및 원자력 발전소로 취입된 냉각수(circulating and essential service water)가 복수기로부터 온배수 형태의 개수로 흐름으로 표층배수 될 경우 수온을 저감시키기 위해 주입하는 희석수(by-pass cooling water)와의 혼합효과의 효율성을 증대시키고, 불리한 수리현상을 야기하지 않으며, 경제적인 배수로 구조물을 고찰하기 위한 목적으로 시도되었다. 배수로 구조물 내 온배수와 희석수가 혼합되는 구간을 혼합지(mixing basin)라 하는데, 본 과업에서는 ${\bigcirc}{\bigcirc}$발전소의 배수로 구간 중 혼합지를 대상으로 FLOW-3D$^{(R)}$를 이용한 3차원 수치모형을 구축하고, 총 9개에 해당하는 각 대안별 현상을 분석하고 비교하였다. 각 대안들의 차이점은 배수로에 설치되는 보조구조물들의 형상과 배열 등이며, 복수기로부터 나오는 배출수의 수온은 $42^{\circ}C$, 희석수는 $35^{\circ}C$이고, 본 과업의 주요 관심대상 물리량은 유속과 온도이다. 배수로에 아무런 보조 구조물이 없는 형태인 기본 계획안을 검토한 결과, 평균 $3.31^{\circ}C$의 수온강하가 이루어졌으나, 우안 쪽으로 강한 흐름이 발생하여 수온의 좌우편차가 $4.61^{\circ}C$ 가량 발생하는 것으로 나타났다. 기본 계획안의 검토결과를 보완하기 위한 대안으로 연직 흐름의 소산을 위해 고안된 잠형 소파블록(baffle block) 설치안은 평균 $3.06^{\circ}C$의 수온강하가 이루어지고 $4.44^{\circ}C$의 수온 좌우편차가 발생했다. 지그재그(zigzag) 형태의 흐름을 만들어 혼합효과를 올리기 위한 미로형 수제(labyrinth groin) 설치안은 평균 $5.33^{\circ}C$의 수온강하가 이루어지고, $1.43^{\circ}C$의 수온 좌우편차를 보여줘 검토했던 대안들 중 가장 좋은 결과를 보여주었다. V자 배열 소파블럭(deformed block) 설치안은 연직 및 수평방향의 소산을 기대했으나 평균 $3.00^{\circ}C$의 수온 강하와 $4.41^{\circ}C$의 수온 좌우편차를 나타냈다. 벤츄리(Venturi) 형태의 흐름을 발생시키기 위한 병목형(bottleneck) 수로안은 평균 $3.18^{\circ}C$의 수온강하와 $3.94^{\circ}C$의 수온 좌우편차, 흐름의 소산과 흐름방향을 변화시키기 위한 와형 수제(swirl groin) 설치안은 평균 $2.24^{\circ}C$의 수온강하와 $1.48^{\circ}C$의 수온좌우편차, 우안 흐름을 지연시키기 위한 물방석(water cushion) 수로안은 평균 $3.03^{\circ}C$의 수온강하와 $4.50^{\circ}C$의 수온 좌우편차, 우안의 흐름을 좌안으로 보내기 위한 분사형(injector) 수로안은 평균 $3.13^{\circ}C$의 수온강하와 $4.45^{\circ}C$의 수온 좌우편차, 우안의 흐름을 막기 위한 외팔형 수제(cantilever groin) 설치안은 평균 $3.11^{\circ}C$의 수온강하와 $3.02^{\circ}C$의 수온 좌우편차가 발생하는 것으로 나타났다.

Development of Model for the Analysis of Reinforced Concrete Axi-symmetric structures (철근 콘크리트 축대칭 구조물 해석 모형의 개발)

  • This study aimes at developing an analysis model for axisymmetric RC structures on an elastic foundation and also, at checking its practical adaptability through some case studies. The computer program developed in this study is general-purpose one, applicable not only to 8-noded isoparametric elements, but also to 3, 4, 6 and g-noded element cases. And for the economies of input data processing works, automatic system for data prepa- ration including division of elements is included in the computer program. Although these are not exemplified in the case studies, the program developed in this study can be easily applicable without any modification to axisymmetric structures with roof and PC structures.
