  • Avionics OFP runs on the mission computer and can be operated by interacting with several avionics equipments. In order to verify OFP SW, SIL having real avionics equipments or models is absolutely necessary. Therefore in many cases SIL is implemented concurrently with OFP developing, and only one SIL is provided to developers. So developers sometimes need an alternative to SIL for verifying requirements in the middle of development process. In this paper, we propose a single PC based STE SW that simulates interworking equipments and verifies OFP in a single PC environment without actual interworking equipments or SIL HW interfaces.

  • Objectives: This study used an efficient data mining algorithm to explore association rules between the lifestyle risk behaviors and multimorbidity (having more than one chronic disease) in Korean adults. Methods: We used data from the 8th Korean National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey(2019-2020) for 7,609 adults aged ≥19 years. This study was undertaken where 6 lifestyle risk behaviors and 11 morbidities were analyzed using R and Rstudio for the ARM. Results: Among 117 association rules, combinations of hypertension, dyslipidemia and diabetes, hypertension were important role in inadequate sleep, physical inactivity and inadequate weight. Conclusion: The findings of this study are significant because they demonstrate the importance of lifestyle risk factors and the role of multiple chronic diseases using big data analytics such as association rule mining. We recommend developing selective and focused health education programs, such as exercise programs to address physical inactivity, dietary interventions to address inadequate weight, and mental health education programs to address inadequate sleep.

  • Falling is one of the problems that threatens the health of elderly patients. This study was conducted once a week for 12 weeks, from 15th of April to 13th of June in 2016, and included 118 subjects above the age of 65 in 6 centers of J city. We evaluated the effectiveness of the fall prevention exercise program (FPEP) and analyzed its effects by making a comparison between before and after the exercise that pertains to activities of daily living, fear of falling, and quality of life. Moreover, this study confirms that there is a relationship between these three factors. The results of this study are as follows: There were statistically significant differences of activities of daily living (F=-4.75, p<..001), fear of falling (F=10.22, p<..001) and quality of life (F=-11.58, p<..001) between post-test improvements and pre-test conditions. In addition, this study confirms that there is a relationship between activities of daily living, fear of falling, and quality of life (r=.551, p<..001, r=-.477, p<..001, r=-.584, p<..001). Accordingly, we have identified that FPEP is very effective for improving activities of daily living, fear of falling, and quality of life for senior citizens.

  • The purpose of this study was to establish the basis for the smooth business conduction of journalists by identifying the impact of job stress on the emotional exhaustion and physical symptoms. The subjects of the survey were 124 journalists of the editorial department of 11 daily newspaper companies in Seoul and the reference period of the survey was from May 1, 2013 to Aug 31, 2013. Factor analysis, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis were performed using SPSS Win 18.0 at the 0.05 significance level. According to the study, emotional exhaustion is related to 'excessive quantitative role'(r=.613, p<.001) and 'role conflict'(r=.0195, p<.05) and the physical symptoms are related to 'excessive quantitative role'(r=.219, p<.05) and 'career management'(r=.529, p<.001). The results may provide implications for arranging a health promotion program handling job stress.

  • This paper makes an attempt to look at the process of automatically generating an application software system based on the Entity-Relationship (E-R) model. Basically, the process consists of five steps as follows: First, the designer develops an E-R model of an real-world system. Second, the software generator automatically generates a stereo-type application system. Third, the generator produces database schema and link information between application programs. Fourth, the designer designs the user interface including menu, screen design and so on. Finally, the generator completes the process integrating all the elements of an application system. Five basic program generation rules, three extended rules and a database generation rule have been suggested. By following each rule with the generator, the designer can build an application with an extremely efficient manner compared with traditional approaches. A case study has been included in order to show the applicability of the automated software generation process suggested in this paper. It has been demonstrated from the case study that the idea of applying an automated generator in systems development based upon the E-R model worked well.
