  • 국가과학기술지식정보서비스(NTIS)는 국가 R&D와 관련된 과제, 성과, 인력, 시설 장비, 기술산업 정보에 대해 이용자에게 통합검색서비스를 제공한다. 이용자는 질의어를 입력하여 원하는 정보를 선별하게 되고, 한 건의 상세 메타정보 및 원문을 검색서비스의 최종 목적지로 삼는다. 이 때 이용 중인 정보와 유사한 다른 유형의 R&D 정보를 함께 제공한다면 이용자의 검색 및 탐색노력을 줄임으로써 정보획득의 요구를 쉽게 충족시킬 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 국가 R&D 정보의 메타데이터와 검색엔진의 부스팅 기법을 이용하여 이종 정보간 유사문서 검색 방법에 대해 논한다. 이는 이용자가 원하는 정보를 서비스 최종 화면(메타 상세보기)에서 제공함으로써 검색 서비스의 효율성을 증대시킨다.

The Location Patterns of Company-affiliated Research and Development Institutes (기업부설연구소의 공간적 입지 유형)

  • The importance of R & D activities has been emphasized in modem economy due to rapid growth of high-tech industry. This research has taken a macroscopic approach to understand the spatial location pattern of company-affiliated R & D institute. According to the result based on this analysis, a number of company-affiliated R & D institutes have shown high centralization in Seoul Metropolitan Area(SMA); however, more serious analysis has shown that institutes have different regional tendencies based on their industrial classifications with lower high-tech tendencies show less centralization in the SMA. Moreover, it also has indicated that larger corporations or higher capability of hiring top class researcher have tendency to decentralize their institutes. The result also points out that institutes are likely to be located near their head offices or factories; or located along with other research institutes in the same industrial field. The locations of the institutes, however, have shown the regional differences as well. After taking all the characteristics into consideration, this study has categorized types of institutes locations into four groups.

  • By the social advancement, radiological disaster prevention planning is getting important considering complex disasters as in the Fukushima radiological disaster occurred by a chain of natural disasters. However, it has yet to be suggested the specific prevention plans for the complex disasters in the field of national radiological disaster prevention. This study aims to analyze the types of complex disasters in order to select the ones that are relatively more likely to occur in the domestic environment. It is also to analyze the impact on the radiological disaster prevention by searching damage spread of the classified natural disasters. We provides the necessary criterial for establishing disaster prevention plans through the scenarios for radiological emergency responses based on complex disasters. it is thought that these criteria can help prepare for the worst case scenario and implement effective resident protection.

The Effects of Government-sponsored R&D on the Participating Firms' Performance (정부 R&D지원이 기업의 성과에 미치는 효과 분석: 동남권 지역산업진흥사업을 중심으로)

  • This paper analyzes the effects of government-sponsored R&D on firm's employment and management performance, using the panel data of manufacturing firms in the area of Busan, Ulsan and Gyungnam. The paper applies PSM to estimate the treatment effects(ATT) without sample selection bias. The findings show that government-sponsored R&D in the area has positive effects on the participating firms' employment and R&D for several years after completing R&D projects.

  • 전기기술은 기술의 특성상 민간에 대한 유인이 적은 공유성 기술이나 대학 또는 기업이 감당하기 어려운 대형복합기술의 비중이 높으며, 최근 들어 전력산업의 구조개편 등에 따라 국가적 기술개발수요가 확대됨과 동시에 전기기술의 이용분야 확대와 타 기술과의 융합화 및 대형화로 신기술수요가 늘어나고 있다. 현재 우리 나라의 전기기술 R&D체제에서는 공공기술에 대한 사각지대가 발생하고 있음에도 불구하고 국가차원의 R&D 공급이 미약하여, 거대한 시험설비와 첨단고가장비를 필요로 하는 시스템기술로 일부 기기나 시스템운용을 제외하고는 개별기업이나 전력회사에 대한 기술개발 유인이 크지 않으며, 따라서 전기기술분야의 R&D 실태 파악과 역할에 대한 검토를 통해 R&D 주체별 기관특성에 맞는 국가 R&D체계의 정립이 필요한 실정이다. 따라서, 앞으로는 전기기술분야의 국가 R&D 목표 및 기본전략에 따라 국가 R&D 자원의 규모, R&D 주체간의 역할분담 등 전반적인 R&D 체계의 구축이 선행되어야 하며, 이를 통해 기관별 Mission 및 고유기능을 토대로 전문성 제고와 특성화를 유도할 수 있는 연구여건의 조성이 시급하다 하겠다. 특히, 장기대형연구, 원천기술연구, 기초기반연구, 연구기반구축, 인력양성 등 필수적 국가기능에 대해서는 기관별 특성에 따라 안정적인 역할수행이 가능하도록 역할분담 및 정책적 지원을 하되, 그 밖의 영역이나, 민간 및 전력회사의 독자적인 R&D에 대해서는 경쟁 및 협력을 통한 연구효율성 향상을 유도하는 방향으로 나가는 것이 바람직할 것이다. 국가적 전력기술 R&D의 효과적인 수행과 실효성 확보를 위해서는 재원확보가 선행되어야 하며, 이를 위한 방안으로는 기존의 전력사업자에게는 기술개발충당금 또는 전기요금 중 일정비율을 국가적 R&D 재원으로 설정할 수 있을 것이며. 신규 사업자에게도 규제비용의 차원에서 일정 부담금을 부과하는 방법이 가능할 것이다. 이러한 재원을 가지고 사업성격 및 R&D 유형에 따라 역할분담에 따른 지원, 정책적 사업, 경쟁적 사업공모 등을 통해 지원분야 및 규모, 대상기관 등에 대한 선별적인 지원이 이루어져야할 것이다.

The relationship between brain dominance thinking type and empathy ability of nursing students (간호대학생의 두뇌 우성 사고 유형과 공감 능력 간의 관계)

  • The purpose of this study was to elucidate the relationship between the brain dominant thinking type and empathy ability of nursing students. The subjects of this study were a total of 90 students enrolled in the 3rd year of the nursing department, who were subjected to Herrmann's BDI as a brain dominant thinking type test. The empathy test was conducted using the Interpersonal Response Index(IRI) adapted by Park(2004). For data analysis, Pearson correlation analysis and multivariate analysis were performed. As a result of the analysis, the dominant brain thinking type of nursing students was in quadrant C the most. And there was a statistically significant positive relationship between the brain dominance type and empathy in the C quadrant(r=.38) and D quadrant(r=.54). The overall empathy ability was highest in the D quadrant, and there was a statistically significant difference in the overall empathy ability according to the brain dominant thinking type(F=4.95, p<.01). Based on the results of this study, it is intended to be used in theoretical and practical education for nurse nurturing to improve empathy ability of nursing students.

A Study on National R&D Report Reference Technological Improvement (국가R&D보고서 참고문헌 기술항목 구축 개선방안 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the reference data of the National R&D Report database built by the Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information(KISTI) to derive problems and to find complementary points for the construction technical items in the system. To this end, we investigated the descriptions of references in the National R&D Report constructed in the KISTI DB and analyzed the construction process, guidelines, types, items, etc. Based on this, the appropriateness and accuracy of the classification results of the reference types constructed with the DB were checked. As a result, the problems of the items built into the system and corrections to the construction guidelines were derived. Through this, database construction can proceed efficiently and data quality is expected to improve. In addition, a follow-up study was proposed on the convergence service plan that can be provided in the future through standardization of technical regulations.

  • Collaborative technology development is now one of the most significant modes of activity in the global scientific community. However, the international cooperation of science and technology simultaneously provides opportunities and challenges, and the results of global R&D collaboration can be positive or negative as the cooperation conditions of the parties may be different according to the types or characteristics of the participants and the pattern, purpose, and motivation of cooperation. In order to minimize the risk and improve the performance of cooperation, more comprehensive as well as micro-level research is needed. This study investigates a case of successful collaborative R&D conducted by several firms, universities, and public research organizations in both Korea and the U.S.A. The aim of this study is to identify the factors of successful R&D collaboration.

Effective R & D Management using Data Mining Classification Techniques (데이터마이닝 분류기법을 이용한 효과적인 연구관리에 관한 연구)

  • This purpose of this study is to drive important criteria for improving customer relationship of R institute using data mining techniques. The focus of this research is to consider patterns and interactions of research variables from research management database of R institute, and to classify the outside organizations and the inside organizations for research contract organizations, and to decide the directions of customer relationship management through analyzing the research type and research cost of research topics. In order to drive criteria variables through pattern analysis of the research database, decision tree algorithm is employed. The results show that determinant variables of 17 input variables are research period, overhead cost, R & D cost as variables to classify the outside and inside contract organization.
