There are limited research questioning the relationship between the disabled community and media, particularly in Malaysia. The lack of awareness and common assumption of specialty towards the disabled community have caused a small amount of local disability researches that question the relationship between the disabled community and the media. This research aims to find out the types of representation of disability in the Malaysian mainstream media, particularly press. Interview with visual disabled personnel and content analysis from news coverage of mainstream press are deployed in the study. The findings indicated the invalidity of disability culture as the misrepresentation of disabled community in Malaysia is not as severe as depicted by scholars because the news coverage focusing on them is getting more positive. Besides that, disabled people are not defensive towards the terms used to refer them as long as media practitioners do not over amplify their disability. The application of charity approach is still common in news coverage to portray the disabled community as victim, and therefore they are partially marginalized due to the misrepresentation in Malaysian mainstream press.

The research was done against female workers in public officers to find out the actual conditions and usage of uniforms worn in government and other public offices, to find out the degree of their satisfaction for it's appearance, costs, functions and representation. The research was done by questioning 402 female workers about their uniforms in various government and other public offices and the results analysed from the research are as it follows below. 1. The shape of uniforms in public offices were mostly in three piece(jacket+vest+skirt) shape, many of them in gray color and the material were made of blended fabrics. 2. The satisfactory garde of the uniform couldn't even reach the level of '3 point', in which it is easy to tell that the workers had low satisfaction with their uniforms. The level of satisfaction in it's appearance, functions, costs and representation were below average, the rankings starting with functions, representation, appearance, costs and it was shown that the most satisfied category was in it's functions and the lest in costs.

This study investigated relationships among infant development, teacher's sensitivity, home literacy environment, and infant-teacher interaction in the child care setting. Verbal and behavioral interactions between 30 2-year-old infant-teacher pairs were video-recorded during free play activities; teachers' sensitivity was observed by trained observers; infant development was assessed by teachers; data on the early home literacy environment were gathered through maternal self-reported questionnaires. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-tests, and correlation analyses. Results indicated that boys showed more naming; girls showed more physical contact with teachers. Infants high in overall developmental level showed more behavioral interaction with teachers. Teacher's sensitivity correlated positively with behavioral imitating and negatively with questioning and nodding. Verbal interaction in the home correlated positively with nodding.

In this paper I have tried to find the points which current Math teachers should reconsider in their classes and suggested how to improve the teaching methods in the class. For these answers, I analysed Teaching plans of 30 Math teachers in K province and observed their model classes. The conclusions acquired by these observations are the followings. First, Math teachers should have a great deal of enthusiasm in their classes. Second, Math teachers must understand the curriculum. Third, Math teachers have to understand their students. Fourth, Math teachers should endeavor with other teachers through the workshop. Fifth, Math teachers should be professional and open-minded to make their classes public anytime.

During problem solving, "mathematical thought process" is a systematic sequence of thoughts triggered between logic and insight. The test questions are formulated into several areas of questioning-types which can reveal rather different result. The lower level questions are to investigate individual ability to solve multiple mathematical problems while using "mathematical thought." During problem solving, "mathematical thought process" is a systematic sequence of thoughts triggered between logic and insight. The scope of this case study is to present a desirable model in solving mathematical problems and to improve teaching methods for math teachers.

A survey study was carried out on the preparation methods of the Winter Kimchies in Seoul. Chung Cheong and Kang Won area by questioning 203 homes Individually. The results showed that the cabbage Kimchi was prepared more than 95o of total Kimchi a good heads of the Chinese cabbage were selected as proper quality of the cabbage. The cabbage were brined for 7∼10 hours with using sun-dried salts mostly(66∼78%) In Seoul and Chung Cheong area the quality of Chinese cabbage was regarded as the primary factor and the seasoning materials in Kang Won area for good quality of Kimchi, more than 70eA of the residents prepared Kimchi in Kimchi jar, and the correlation between the jar use kind of resident such as house or apartment was significantly high (p< 0.000)

This study was conducted to survey on utilisation of pan-fried food items questioning by dietitians from 40 foodservice establishments in Pusan. The results of this study are summarized as folIows. 1. Feeding numbers among the type of the foodservice centers were varied widley from 90-3200 and the number of foodservice personnels were insufficient when comparing with the feeding numbers. Also, it was shown that most of surveyed institutions managed by conventional foodservice system 2. 52.5% of requirements answered that they served pan-fried food items three times a month, and they were inconvenient food items because of their complecated cooking method(100%). But the preference of that was high(57.5%) 3. Equipped rate was very poor and proper equipments were not provided to prepare pan-fried foods effectively.

A statistical study was carried out in order to find out the correlation between various factors affecting the attitude of young college girls to their marriages, such as their environment and the degree of their parent's satisfaction in their marriage life. For the study, 264 college girls were sampled at random from the population of college girls in Daejeon area. The instruments used in the research are questioning paper , which the investigators made. Following correlations were found as a result. (1) a significant correlation between the birth order of girls and those of male mate and earlier marriage in the bigger residential district. (2) Preferrence in larger family planning tendency in the group of girls from large family and vice versa in the group of girls little educated mothers. (3) More traditional attitude to future marriage planning in the group of girls of lower birth order and with better economical background. (4)There were no significant correlations between the degree of their parent's satisfaction and their marriage life planning.

System Integration Projects, especially in public sector, have a tendency of growing in size and duration. Under such environment the effects of IT personnel turnover becomes a serious problem. In addition a high rate of turnover hinders shill accumulation and competitiveness obtainment. In this research we explored the reasons of turnover by way of tracing IT personnel who have involved in large-scale SI projects and moved or quit before the completion of the projects. Based on previous research we identified three dimensions of variables that affected turnover : task-related dimension, human relations dimension, treatment-related dimension. We used these dimensions as a guideline for the interview and questioning exploration. Implications from the research for improving IT Personnel management are also elaborated.

Despite the social turn in literacy studies, few empirical studies have investigated the practical applications and learning experiences of multimodal composition pedagogy. Using a qualitative research approach, this study examines undergraduates' experiences in producing multimodal texts. Findings report that students' experiences in a multimodal composition class epitomize enjoyable learning. Students enjoyed their learning process because (a) the multimodal literacy curriculum filled the pedagogical gap between the conventional school-sponsored alphabetic literacy pedagogy and widespread out-of-school multimodal literacy practices and (b) the usefulness of the curriculum helped students enhance their intrinsic motivation to learn and compose. By questioning fundamental assumptions about what counts as knowledge in the current ecology of literacies, the authors argue for a dynamic view of literacy into practice.
