Existing methods for blind identification of linear block codes without a candidate set are mainly built on the Gauss elimination process. However, the fault tolerance will fall short when the intercepted bit error rate (BER) is too high. To address this issue, we apply the reverse algebra approach and propose a novel "two-step-screening" algorithm by solving the linear error equations on the binary Galois field, or GF(2). In the first step, a recursive matrix partition is implemented to solve the system linear error equations where the coefficient matrix is constructed by the full codewords which come from the intercepted noisy bitstream. This process is repeated to derive all those possible parity-checks. In the second step, a check matrix constructed by the intercepted codewords is applied to find the correct parity-checks out of all possible parity-checks solutions. This novel "two-step-screening" algorithm can be used in different codes like Hamming codes, BCH codes, LDPC codes, and quasi-cyclic LDPC codes. The simulation results have shown that it can highly improve the fault tolerance ability compared to the existing Gauss elimination process-based algorithms.
This paper is devoted to the non linear quasi-steady aerodynamic loading. A linear approximation is often used to compute the response of structures to buffeting forces. Some researchers have however shown that it is possible to account for the non linearity of this loading. This non linearity can come (i) from the squared velocity or (ii) from the shape of the aerodynamic coefficients (as functions of the wind angle of attack). In this paper, it is shown that this second origin can have significant implications on the design of the structure, particularly when the non linearity of the aerodynamic coefficient is important or when the transverse turbulence is important.
A closed loop system with a linear plant and nonlinearity in the feedback connection is analyzed for its quasi-static orbital stability by a state-space approach. First a periodic orbit is assumed to exist in the loop which is determined by describing function method for the given nonlinearity. This is possible by selecting a proper nonlinearity and a rigorous justification of the describing function method.[1-3, 18, 20]. Then by introducing residual operator, a linear perturbed model can be formulated. Using various transformations like a modified eigenstructure decomposition, periodic-averaging, charge of variables and coordinate transformation, the stability of the periodic orbit, as a solution of harmonic balance, can be shown by investigating a simple scalar function and result of linear algebra. This is ...

In this paper we studied for multi-user detection system, which hold the merit of CDMA system and can enhance the system capacity. We designed actually realizable quasi-optimal multiuser detection system by use of linear equalizer on the concept that multiuser detection algorithm can be reduced by combining TDMA with CDMA. we call this the hybrid TDMA/CDMA system. And we proposed multiuser detection system, which can use PSAD and MSDD channel estimation method. As a result of performance analysis we acquired equal or much better performance by use of linear multichannel equalizer in the case of not so many user. And on the occasion of many user within cell we can also acquired much better performance in comparison with conventional single user detection system by use of hybrid TDMA/CDMA system.
In this work we discuss "plank problems" for complex Banach spaces and in particular for the classical $L^{p}(\mu)$ spaces. In the case $1\;{\leq}\;p\;{\leq}\;2$ we obtain optimal results and for finite dimensional complex Banach spaces, in a special case, we have improved an early result by K. Ball [3]. By using these results, in some cases we are able to find best possible lower bounds for the norms of homogeneous polynomials which are products of linear forms. In particular, we give an estimate in the case of a real Hilbert space which seems to be a difficult problem. We have also obtained some results on the so-called n-th (linear) polarization constant of a Banach space which is an isometric property of the space. Finally, known polynomial inequalities have been derived as simple consequences of various results related to plank problems.
A gain-scheduled autopilot design for a bank-to-turn (BTT) missile is developed by using the Linear Matrix Inequality (LMI) optimization technique and a state-space lineal interpolation method. The missile dynamics are brought to a quasilinear parameter varying (quasi-LPV) form. Robust linear control design method is used to obtain state feedback controllers for the LPV systems with exogenous disturbances at the frozen values of the scheduling parameters. Two gam-scheduled controllers for the pitch axis and the yaw/roll axis are constructed by linearly interpolating the robust state-feedback gains. The designed controller is applied to a nonlinear six-degree-of-freedom (6-DOF) simulations.

Herein, a new space-time block coding technique is proposed for a MIMO 2 × 2 multiple-input multiple output (MIMO) system to minimize the bit error rate (BER) in Rayleigh fading channels with reduced decoding complexity using ZF and MMSE linear detection techniques. The main objective is to improve the service quality of wireless communication systems and optimize the number of antennas used in base stations and terminals. The idea is to exploit the correlation product technique between both information symbols to transmit per space-time block code and their own orthogonal Walsh-Hadamard sequences to ensure orthogonality between both symbol vectors and create a full-rate orthogonal STBC code. Using 16 quadrature amplitude modulation and the quasi-static Rayleigh channel model in the MATLAB environment, the simulation results show that the proposed space-time block code performs better than the Alamouti code in terms of BER performance in the 2 × 2 MIMO system for both cases of linear decoding ZF and MMSE.
For solving complex symmetric positive definite linear systems, we propose a single step real-valued (SSR) iterative method, which does not involve the complex arithmetic. The upper bound on the spectral radius of the iteration matrix of the SSR method is given and its convergence properties are analyzed. In addition, the quasi-optimal parameter which minimizes the upper bound for the spectral radius of the proposed method is computed. Finally, numerical experiments are given to demonstrate the effectiveness and robustness of the propose methods.
We report the design and vibration analysis for the optomechanical structures of Linear Astigmatism Free - Three Mirror System (LAF-TMS). LAF-TMS is the linear astigmatism free off-axis wide-field telescope with D = 150 mm, F/3.3, and FOV = 5.51° × 4.13°. The whole structure consists of four optomechanical modules. It can accurately mount mirrors and also can survive from vibration environments. The Mass Acceleration Curve (MAC) is adapted to the quasi-static analysis. Modal, harmonic, and random vibration analysis have been performed under the qualification level of the launch system. We evaluate the final results in terms of von Mises stress and Margin of Safety (MoS).
A fundamental solution for the transient, quasi-static, plane problems of linear viscoelasticity is introduced for a specific material. An integral equation has been found for any problem as a result of dynamic reciprocal identity which is written between this fundamental solution and the problem to be solved. The formulation is valid for the first, second and mixed boundary-value problems. This integral equation has been solved by BEM and algorithm of the BEM solution is explained on a sample, mixed boundary-value problem. The forms of time-displacement curves coincide with literature while time-surface traction curves being quite different in the results. The formulation does not have any singularity. Generalized functions and the integrals of them are used in a different form.
