Kompsat-2 영상의 DEM 생성 및 상용 소프트웨어와의 성능평가 (DEM Generation from Kompsat-2 Images and Accuracy Comparison by Using Common Software)

  • 현재 Kompsat-2 영상을 이용한 정밀 DEM 제작에 관한 연구는 미비한 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 Kompsat-2 위성영상을 이용하여 정밀 DEM을 제작하고, 이렇게 제작된 DEM을 상용 소프트웨어인 PCI Geomatica, ENVI에서 제작된 DEM과의 비교를 통해 그 성능을 분석하였다. DEM의 제작을 위해 Kompsat-2에 가장 적합하다고 보고된 궤도-자세각 모델을 사용하였으며, 에피폴라 곡선의 기하학적 요소들을 이용한 정합방식을 사용하여 Kompsat-2 DEM의 제작을 시도하였다. 각 상용프로그램과의 성능의 비교는 육안을 통한 정성적 실험과, USGS DTED를 이용한 정량적 실험으로 이루어졌다. 정확도는 DTED와의 평균절대오차, RMS 오차로 판단하였으며, 비교 실험 결과, 대부분의 영상에서 실험에 사용한 방식이 다른 상용 프로그램에서 제작된 DEM보다 더 좋은 성능을 보여줌을 확인할 수 있었다.

KOMPSAT-2/3/3A호의 영상융합에 대한 품질평가 프로토콜의 비교분석 (Comparison Analysis of Quality Assessment Protocols for Image Fusion of KOMPSAT-2/3/3A)

  • 최근 영상융합 기법의 품질평가를 위하여 다양한 방법이 제안되었다. 품질평가를 위한 일련의 과정들을 통틀어 프로토콜이라 정의되었으며, Wald's 프로토콜, QNR 프로토콜, Khan's 프로토콜 등의 다양한 품질평가 프로토콜이 제시되었다. 본 논문에서는 KOMPSAT-2/3/3A 위성영상을 활용하여 제시된 세 가지 품질평가 프로토콜을 각기 다른 융합 기법에 적용하였을 때 나타나는 결과를 비교하고, KOMPSAT 위성영상에의 활용가능성을 알아보는 한편 각 프로토콜의 장단점을 분석하였다. 이 때 기존의 연구와 달리 융합 영상의 품질이 시각적으로 뚜렷하게 구분되는 융합 기법을 사용하여 육안 분석을 통한 정성적 분석을 진행함과 동시에 각 품질평가 프로토콜을 통한 정량적 분석을 수행하였다. 이를 통해 분광정보 보존의 측면과 공간 정보 보존의 측면에서 정성적 결과와 정량적 결과의 유사성을 파악하였다. 분석 결과, 각 프로토콜의 과정상 특징을 반영하는 결과를 나타내었다. Wald's 프로토콜의 경우 정성적/정량적 분석 결과가 동일하였으나, 프로토콜 수행 과정이 번거로우며 특히 영상의 공간해상도를 강제로 저하시킨 후 융합을 진행하여도 그 결과가 실제 공간해상도의 융합 결과와 동일하다는 전제를 가정하고 있다는 한계점이 존재하였다. QNR 프로토콜의 경우 원 영상의 융합 결과를 평가할 수 있다는 장점이 존재하였다. 그러나 분광정보 보존 분석 시 Wavelet 융합 결과의 aliasing 현상을 반영하지 못하는 등의 불안정성이 존재하여 프로토콜을 활용할 때 주의해야하는 단점이 있었다. Khan's 프로토콜의 경우 분광정보 보존 분석의 경우에 정성적/정량적 분석 결과가 Wavelet 융합 기법에서 일치하지 않았다. 이는 품질평가 시 공간해상도를 강제로 저하시킬 때 융합 영상의 품질이 변하여 발생하는 문제였다. 공간정보 보존 분석의 경우 Wald's 프로토콜의 한계점과 QNR 프로토콜의 단점을 모두 보완하여 품질평가를 수행하는 프로토콜이라 할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

GIS를 활용한 서울시 도시근교공원의 접근성 지표에 관한 연구 (GIS-oriented Measurement Indicces of Accessibility of the Neighborhood Park in Seoul)

  • The citizens seek to maximize convenience, pleasantness and safety when they use urban facilities. However, existing practices of urban neighborhood parks have applied not qualitative standards such as adequacy, efficiency, accessibility, equity, or socioeconomic issues but very limited quantitative standards such as area per person. Therefore it is not rare that citizens have lost their accessibility to near-by neighborhood parks. And park regulations based on the distance of lien are supposed to be uniformally accomplished regardless of the consideration about users or geographical special situations. Futhermore, it has been found that some urban neighborhood parks don't reach to the standards given by the regulations. This study tries to accomplished several purposes. The first purpose is to extract the boundary of real user-accessible zones derived from the city survey. Comparing with boundary of real user-accessible zones, the second one is to propose the most efficient measurement indices among many accessibility measurement index. Based upon the above arguments, the last one is to review the propriety of the access distances(e.g., semidiameter) of an urban neighborhood park in a law. The measurement indices of accessibility examined in this study are walking distance, walking time and walking difficulty. The comparison of visual discrimination, the comparison of area and the comparison of differences of maximum distance showed similar results. Each index can also be compared in the size of area and differences of maximum distance. Walking difficulty with the turning showed the best measurement values among the measurement indices. This indicates that walking difficulty with crossing and/or turning may be another important indices in measuring accessibility, while other existing studues have mainly dealt with walking time and distance as accessibility indices. The results of this study also supported that the existing regulations related to park allocation(e.g., access diameter) are close to the findings of this study.

최소주거기준에 대한 비교 연구 (A Comparative Study on the Housing Standard)

  • The purpose of the study is to establish the concept of residential standard, and at the same time to investigate the area of the minimum residential standard in the countries of the world through the preceding studies. In addition, it also aims at establishing the objective residential standard by comparing the residential standard of Korea with that of foreign countries, examining the problems and finding out the matters to be improved through the comparison of the residential standard in advanced countries with the minimum residential standard of Korea. The standard residential area, derived from the process of examining the minimum residential standard, will be used as the basic material for the calculation of the reasonable area in the surface plan for the study of low-cost housing development. The method of the study is to establish the concept of residential standard and at the same time to find out the problems in the minimum residential standard of Korea and improvement methods through the comparison of the residential standards in other countries. As the result of the studies focused on the area among the residential standards, it is found out that the Korea's residential area per capita is established as the least in comparison with that of advanced countries. The real area decided depending on the size of social space suitable for living can play a role in improving the degree of satisfaction in the person's living in the residential area. Therefore, it is urgently necessary to make a depth study on the surface area of the minimum residential standard, and it is also required to propose the residential standard and directions for the improvement of the qualitative level rather the quantitative expansion of residential structures.

증강 현실 디지털 패션의 디자인 특성 (Design Characteristics of Augmented Reality Digital Fashion)

  • The aim of this study was to analyze contemporary sociocultural phenomena and values through characteristics of augmented reality (AR) digital fashion design. The research method included a literature review on the metaverse and augmented reality, combined with a case study using both quantitative analysis through big data text mining and qualitative analysis through constant comparison. Data analysis was conducted using Python-based open-source tools: First, 6,725 data entries were collected from AR digital fashion platforms and brands identified in articles from Vogue and Vogue Business containing keywords of 'augmented reality' and 'digital fashion. Second, text preprocessing involved stop word removal, tokenization, and POS-tagging of nouns and adjectives using the NLTK library. Third, top 50 keywords were extracted through term frequency (TF) and TF-IDF analysis, with results visualized using a word cloud. Fourth, characteristics of products' external design and internal concepts that contained top keywords were classified, with their value examined through repeated comparison. Results indicate that AR digital fashion design has the following characteristics. First, it embodies surreal fantasy through designs that mimic natural biological patterns using 3D scanning and modeling technology. Second, it presents a trans-boundary aspect by utilizing the fluidity of body and space to challenge vertical and discriminatory social structures. Third, it imagines a new future transcending traditional sociocultural concepts by expanding perceptions of space and time based on advanced technological aesthetics. Fourth, it contributes to sustainability by exploring alternatives for the fashion industry in response to climate change and ecological concerns.

건설기업의 규모에 따른 성과지표 가중치 비교분석 (Comparative Analysis of the Weights of Performance Measures Index According to the Size of Construction Companies)

  • 우리 건설 기업들은 양적인 성장에 비해 질적인 경영구조는 미흡한 수준이다. 질적인 경영구조의 개선을 위해 조직구성원 모두의 공감을 살 수 있는 공정한 성과측정 시스템의 구축이 필요하다. 성과측정지표를 선택하고 결정하는 일은 기업과 구성원들에게는 중요한 과정이다. 또 그에 대한 가중치부여 역시 동일한 중요성을 가지게 된다. 이를 위해 Kaplan and Norton의 BSC륵 채택하여 성과지표의 가중치를 산출하였다. 건설기업의 성과측정 가중치 결정의 특징을 알기 위해 기업의 규모별로 분류하여 산출된 가중치를 비교분석하였다. 본 분석결과는 향후 건설기업이 각 규모별로 효율성을 제고하고 성과를 극대화하기 위한 성과측정 시스템을 운영하는데 효과적으로 기여할 수 있을 것이다.

효소발색법을 이용한 대장균 및 총대장균군 신속 검사 (Fluorogenic and Chromogenic Assay for Rapid Detection of Escherichia coli and Total Coliform Bacteria)

  • We developed the Eco medium for Escherichia coli and total coliforms, which was modified by Violet Red Bile (VRB) medium, and derived the standard curve of exponential phase at $OD_{410}$ by using type strains such as E. coli ATCC11303, Enterobacter cloacae KCTC2361, Klebsiella pneumoniae KCTC2241, and Citrobacter freundii KCTC2359. Also, we used total 93 samples of spring and stream water to compare the detection ability of total coliforms between the method using Eco medium and such as most probable number (MPN), and plate count methods. As a result, the qualitative analysis of E. coli and total coliforms using Eco medium contained ortho-nitrophenyl-$\beta$-galactoside (ONPG) and 4-methylumbelliferyl-$\beta$-D-glucuronide (MUG) was same as those of Korean standard methods (Colilert kit). And the colony forming unit (CFU) detected in Eco medium was similar to those of result from MPN and plate count methods. Moreover, the agreement, sensitivity, and specificity of the developed kit was more than 97.5% in comparison with Colilert kit for 350 samples. Thus, the Eco medium can be used both qualitative and quantitative analysis of E. coli and total coliforms.

섬유패션기업의 SCM 성과 측정을 위한 Scor Model과 BSC 연구 (A Study on Scor model and BSC to estimate SCM Performance in Textile and Fashion Business)

  • To survive competitive global market, textile and fashion business incorporated Supply Chain Management strategy to make product and information flows fast and correct. Especially textile and fashion industry involves many complicated channels from up stream, middle stream, to down stream for delivering their production. Evaluating SCM performance is very critical to make better business profit model. Representative Scor model and BSC method are well fitted into textile and fashion business because of distributional complexity, non-financial factors to be considered, and innovative product characteristics. But there was little study to compare these two methods for textile and fashion business. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to investigate the Scor model and BSC method based upon review of literatures. The results of this study were as follows: Scor model had some strengths which were availability to apply for various industries due to standardized process, operation process emphasized, various customizable factors to compose for the company, and premise on SCM strategic execution. BSC method had some strengths which were the balance including financial and non-financial factors, qualitative analysis, and considering the goal and vision to convey organically from top to bottom of organization. The main differences between them were different scope to deal with performance estimating index from qualitative to quantitative analysis, the scope of human resources to manage, and possibility of performance comparison among companies.

New Non-uniformity Correction Approach for Infrared Focal Plane Arrays Imaging

  • Although infrared focal plane array (IRFPA) detectors have been commonly used, non-uniformity correction (NUC) remains an important problem in the infrared imaging realm. Non-uniformity severely degrades image quality and affects radiometric accuracy in infrared imaging applications. Residual non-uniformity (RNU) significantly affects the detection range of infrared surveillance and reconnaissance systems. More effort should be exerted to improve IRFPA uniformity. A novel NUC method that considers the surrounding temperature variation compensation is proposed based on the binary nonlinear non-uniformity theory model. The implementing procedure is described in detail. This approach simultaneously corrects response nonlinearity and compensates for the influence of surrounding temperature shift. Both qualitative evaluation and quantitative test comparison are performed among several correction technologies. The experimental result shows that the residual non-uniformity, which is corrected by the proposed method, is steady at approximately 0.02 percentage points within the target temperature range of 283 K to 373 K. Real-time imaging shows that the proposed method improves image quality better than traditional techniques.

The Effect of Residential Environmental Satisfaction on Quality of Life and the Moderating Effect of Housing Type: The Case of Gyeonggi, Korea

  • This study examined the relationship between residential environmental satisfaction and quality of life, and how the relationship between variables differed depending on housing type. Residential environments can affect a person's life in a variety of ways. However, there have not been many studies on the relationship between quality of life and residential environments, which increases the importance of this study. In this study, residential environments were categorized according to amenities, safety, and neighborhood relationships, which enabled the comparison of influence between these elements. In addition, this study analyzed the moderating effect of housing type to look for improvements for low-rise housing residents. For testing the hypotheses, moderating regression analysis was conducted with data from the 1st Gyeonggi Province quality of life survey that had 18,953 subjects. Results showed that residential environmental satisfaction had a positive effect on quality of life, with amenities having the largest influence. Furthermore, housing type had a significant moderating effect on the relationship between safety and quality of life. In other words, safety was proven relatively important in improving quality of life for low-rise housing residents. Today, with the limits to quantitative growth, qualitative development has become more important. In this respect, this study provides important implications for many developing countries undergoing urbanization.
