고객지향 수주생산 기업을 위한 제품사양 기반의 견적관리시스템 구축 (Development of a Product Specification Based Quotation Management System for Customer-Oriented Manufacturing Enterprise)

  • Nowadays, customer-oriented manufacturing enterprises such as airplane, ship, ship engine, etc are knowledge-intensive and higher added value industries. In these companies, to quickly respond customer's order, a quotation management is a very important task. But, this task is very complex, time-consuming, resource- consuming, and difficult process because it is related with many departments within a company. In this paper, for the effective and efficient quotation management, the concept of product specification framework is introduced because a quotation BOM (bills of material) can be created from product specification. Also, this paper presents the product specification framework based quotation management process and implements the quotation management system for the ship engine division of 'H' company, one of customer-oriented manufacturing enterprises. As a result, the proposed quotation management concept reduced a lead time of drawing out quotations from $3{\sim}10$ days to 1 hour. And, the constructed quotation management system achieved a rapidity, accuracy, quality, and workload reduction of the quotation management process.

  • There are big differences between developed countries and Korea regarding to the circumstances of electrical installation construction. In other words, Korea, in spite of its small market size, has large pools of electrical construction companies or associated workers, and there are a lot of poorly electrical construction companies in domestically. Thus, in reality, it is difficult to invest in technical development to enhance Korea's technical level on electrical installation and companies are likely to construct as occasion demands instead of constructing in a technical manner. Therefore, the government needs to develop a standard specification as a guideline for stable, economical and technical electrical installation construction. With this standard specification, almost all electrical construction companies could practically use it and also could guarantee their construction quality as well. It is important to induce small companies to utilize the standard specification to secure their construction excellent quality so that the life of the nation, individual's properties and national properties could be well protected.

서영태(徐靈胎)의 본초관(本草觀)에 대한 연구(硏究) - 『신농본초경백종록(神農本草經百種錄)』을 중심으로 - (A Study on Xu Dachun's Understanding of Medicinals According to the Shennong Bencao Baizhonglu)

  • Objectives : Based on the entries on each medicinal's 'specification' and the phrase '所以然' in the Shennong Bencao Baizhonglu, this paper aims to examine Xu Dachun's understanding of herbal medicinals. Methods : One hundred medicinals from the text were sorted into eight categories: Qi, flavor, color, form, quality, nature and characteristic, time of growth, and producer, then examined. Results : 1. Medicinals related to Qi were aromatic and pungent and warm. 2. Medicinals related to flavor were explained according to the Five Flavors' nature in terms of the thing and its functions theory. 3. Medicinals related to color were explained in relation to the Five Colors, whose interpretations were rather erratic. 4. Medicinals related to form were explained as it being possible to figure out their effects based on each medicinal's shape and form. 5. Medicinals related to quality were those that were used to manage dryness and dampness using their dry or wet qualities. 6. Medicinals related to nature and characteristics needed to be understood in their originality to grasp their unique abilities. 7. Both producer and time of growth were closely related to each medicinal's efficacy. Conclusions : Understanding of the application of medicinals in the Shennong Bencaojing through continuous examination into each medicinal's 'specification' and 'its reasoning', together with their clinical application, will allow for learners to build an understanding of herbal medicinals.

  • The current R&B system has a lot of problems caused by complexity of the system and lack of IDE concept among the related offices and organizations. IDE concept is building Integrated database with data which applied standards and digitalized. So R&D CALS system should be established for the related offices and organizations can use data which created during R&D life-cycle in IDE. In this paper, I suggested system requirements and system quality factors for building IDE based upon SSS form.

오프셋 매엽 인쇄의 최적 민인쇄 농도 설정 방법 (The Optimal Solid Print Density Setting Method for Sheetfed Offset Printing)

  • Since domestic offset print quality control depends on the experience of persons in charge rather than objective data, the standards from the data are needed for the well-organized quality management of high-quality prints. Based on the ISO standards, now the standard specifications, such as GRACoL 7, SWOP 11, SNAP, G7 in America, and EURO Color, ECI, BVDM in Europe, and Japan Color 2001, Japan Color 2004 in Japan, are employed. There exists KS for domestic standards. However, since it has been directly imported from ISO Standards, there are discrepancies in printing materials and media. Although the quality management of commercial prints has been focused and studied. For this circumstance, standards are needed for the production of prints to meet international standards. This paper aims to find out suitable ways to approach domestic printing standards using densitometric method and colorimetric method. Printing experiments on this study were performed with domestic process color inks(Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black) and domestic coated papers, under the same conditions as the actual commercial printing processes. In densitometric method, how to set up the optimal solid print density was studied through three tests such as the ways to match solid print density and print contrast to GRACoL standards respectively, and the way to get the highest contrast. In colorimetric method, how to get solid print density with the minimum color difference between the $CIEL^*a^*b^*$ color specification values in GRACoL standards and the measured color specification values in prints, was studied.

NuSEE: AN INTEGRATED ENVIRONMENT OF SOFTWARE SPECIFICATION AND V&V FOR PLC BASED SAFETYCRITICAL SYSTEMS

  • As the use of digital systems becomes more prevalent, adequate techniques for software specification and analysis have become increasingly important in nuclear power plant (NPP) safety-critical systems. Additionally, the importance of software verification and validation (V&V) based on adequate specification has received greater emphasis in view of improving software quality. For thorough V&V of safety-critical systems, V&V should be performed throughout the software lifecycle. However, systematic V&V is difficult as it involves many manual-oriented tasks. Tool support is needed in order to more conveniently perform software V&V. In response, we developed four kinds of computer aided software engineering (CASE) tools to support system specification for a formal-based analysis according to the software lifecycle. In this work, we achieved optimized integration of each tool. The toolset, NuSEE, is an integrated environment for software specification and V&V for PLC based safety-critical systems. In accordance with the software lifecycle, NuSEE consists of NuSISRT for the concept phase, NuSRS for the requirements phase, NuSDS for the design phase and NuSCM for configuration management. It is believed that after further development our integrated environment will be a unique and promising software specification and analysis toolset that will support the entire software lifecycle for the development of PLC based NPP safety-critical systems.

커튼월 공사의 성능·사양 연계 시방서 프로토타입 (Hybrid Prototype of Performance and Prescriptive Specifications in Curtain Wall Construction)

  • 건축공사 시 적정 품질 확보를 위해 활용되고 있는 대부분의 국내 설계기준 및 시방서는 절차를 중요시 하며 재료 치수 등을 규정하는 사양 기반이다. 공사업체의 창의성 저해 및 이로 인한 경쟁력 약화 등 사양시방서의 다양한 문제점에 기인하여 최근 최종 결과물을 중요시 하는 성능 기반의 시방서가 제시되고 있지만 건축 분야 적용에 한계가 있다. 본 연구에서는 국내외 시방서 사례의 성능 및 사양항목 기반의 커튼월 공사 성능 사양 연계 시방서 프로토타입을 제시하였다. 설문조사를 통해 중요 성능점검 시점을 도출하였으며, 각 시점별 관련 참여주체 역할을 반영한 성능점검 프로세스와 샘플시방서를 제시하였다. 전문가면담기반 검증 결과 현장적용성이 높고 공사 진행단계에서의 성능 확보를 적극적으로 지원할 수 있는 효과적인 도구로 평가되었다.

This study also presents guidelines for various inclusions in standards such as environmental aspects, safety aspects, third-party certification systems, medical devices, and the needs of older persons and persons with disabilities.

국내 신문 인쇄의 색재현 특성에 대한 평가 (A Study on The Color Reproduction Properties of Domestic Newspaper Prints)

  • Web offset newspaper prints is the most widely used printing process in domestic printing industry, but there are no industry-wide specifications for press control to assure consistent quality across newspaper printing plants. As newspaper printing becomes more of a commodity and less of an art, it is necessary to develop the print quality specification standard suitable for Korea web offset newspaper printing field. There are a few commonly employed printing standards such as, SNAP(Specification for Non-Heatset Publication) of the US, IFRA(INCA-FIEJ Research Association), J-color (Japan printing machinery association). And there exists KS for domestic standards, however, since it has been directly imported from ISO standards, there are discrepancies in printing materials and media. This paper aims to examine the color reproduction quality of domestic web offset newspaper prints by comparing with foreign standards. Printing experiments on this study have been performed at one of the domestic newspaper printing companies. The color reproduction properties of the web offset newspaper prints are measured by means of densitometry and colorimetry. These measures are evaluated comapratively with the international standards by means of analyzing, the major factors that determine the color reproduction quality of web offset newspapar prints.
