Multi-view video plus depth (MVD) has been widely used owing to its effectiveness in three-dimensional data representation. Using MVD, color videos with only a limited number of real viewpoints are compressed and transmitted along with captured or estimated depth videos. Because the synthesized views are generated from decoded real views, their original reference views do not exist at either the transmitter or receiver. Therefore, it is challenging to define an efficient metric to evaluate the quality of synthesized images. We propose a novel metric-the reduced-reference quality metric. First, the effects of depth distortion on the quality of synthesized images are analyzed. We then employ the high correlation between the local depth distortions and local color characteristics of the decoded depth and color images, respectively, to achieve an efficient depth quality metric for each real view. Finally, the objective quality metric of the synthesized views is obtained by combining all the depth quality metrics obtained from the decoded real views. The experimental results show that the proposed quality metric correlates very well with full reference image and video quality metrics.

The term quality or freshness of eggs in industrial production still poses concerns regarding whether washing is necessary. Therefore, the aims of this study were to examine the effects of different storage times and temperatures and to perform a comparison between washed and unwashed eggs. A total of 1000 washed and 1000 unwashed egg samples were stored at three different temperatures (5, 10, and $25^{\circ}C$) for 0 - 8 weeks and were used for the data collection. On the designated day, the eggs were processed to evaluate their internal and external quality traits, such as the Haugh unit, airspace volume, eggshell strength, pH, and microbiological profile. Significant differences (p < 0.05) were observed between the washed and unwashed eggs for each quality trait. The results indicate that storage between 5 and $10^{\circ}C$ better preserved the quality of eggs compared with the storage at $25^{\circ}C$ throughout the days of the storage. Overall, this study suggests that the storage time and temperature have a vital role in maintaining the quality of eggs which were significantly affected during storage. In addition, all the quality parameters differed between the washed and unwashed samples which is further responsible for deteriorating the quality of the eggs.

Due to the distribution structure of domestic temporary equipment, quality control of temporary equipment is essential because more than 80% of temporary equipment is repeated and reused. Due to this importance, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport has proposed quality management standards for temporary equipment for 10types of temporary equipments, including steel pipe support, but the overall quality of temporary eqipment cannot be confirmed because the quality is managed through sampling quality tests. In addition, although quality control standards exist for temporary material rental company, practical utilization was investigated and analyzed to be very low as they are mainly presented based on qualitative inspection standards by visual inspection. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to develop individual temporary material/quality/delivery management standards (Guides) for temporary equipment rental company to preemptively secure the quality of temporary equipment before bringing them into the construction site. If the standards developed through this study are applied to domestic temporary equipment rental companies, it is expected that high-quality temporary equipment with secured quality will be brought into the construction site as the quality of temporary equipment quality of domestic medium and small temporary equipment rental companies is improved safety accidents related to temporary structures.

For objective assessment of stereoscopic 3D image quality, we measure quality of left and right image with 2D image quality measurement method. However, this method is inconvenient because that we have to measure quality of left and right image individually. Therefore we propose a method of stereoscopic 3D image quality assessment using one overlaid image with left and right image. Using this method, One can measure quality of stereoscopic 3D image more easily and quickly.

Purpose: This study developed a method of determining priorities for evaluating and revising defense standards. Methods: The proposed data integration and refinement methods are used to obtain component reliability information and to determine the frequency of component citation based on Pareto analysis. Based on the reliability information and the frequency of cited components, the target components for quality improvement can be determined and improved using various methods, such as engineering changes, special meetings, additional training, and revising the maintenance manual. Results: Based on the proposed process, we identified components that need to be improved in order to enhance the quality and reliability. Conclusion: Our process will improve the quality and reliability of weapon systems. The proposed process can be adopted for various weapon systems to enhance their quality and reliability, and to reduce military spending.

It seems to be less important to quality record than document control. But quality records provide a objectve evidence for certain product. So, the requirements of quality record is more serve than that of design document. It is obvious that quality record control promotes accumulation of know-how. The puepose of this study is to possible implementation methods through analysis of Code requirements. This paper suggests the considerations when establishing the quality records control system.
