Study on Promotion of the Maintenance Engineers for Multiple Dwellings (공동주택의 유지관리전문인력 육성에 관한 연구)

  • The industrialized countries have promoted the rehabilitation of existing housing units as a national agenda, such as green policies, whereas korea, although having a housing stock as huge as that of world countries, have focused on the growth of housing by constructing new units rather than rehabilitating existing ones. Today, it has been so long since many multiple dwellings in Seoul and in the vicinity of Seoul were constructed. There were, however, very few political efforts to encourage the rehabilitation of housing. Today, substantial time has passed since multiple dwellings in Seoul and the first-stage new cities such as Bundang and Ilsan were constructed. What is required to maintain the quality of the existing housing and use it with safety is to promote the engineer of maintenance for multiple dwellings to work the maintenance of existing multiple dwellings. The objective of this study is to compare and analyze the maintenance qualification system of multiple dwellings of Japan, and then to propose to raise engineers of maintenance for multiple dwellings in korea.

  • As school facilities have been expanding quantity better than quality, efficient school facility management has been focused on from 2001 in domestic. Due to obsolescence of school facility, objective management and maintenance cost of school facility is very important. However LCC(Life cycle cost) analyst, owner, engineer, contractor and facility manager have a difficulty to obtain and facilitate the basic analyzed data required to analyze LCC of school facility and establish maintenance plan. Therefore this research presents muti-dimensional analysis method through data warehouse technique for supplying maintenance cost information of school facility that can trace and accumulate the scattered LCCing data in the perspective of life cycle of school facility.

  • The computer is an important tool to design an engineering system and CAD systems are widely used for various design practice. To meet the market requirements, the old mass production system is being changed into the mass customization system. As for CAD systems, it is increasingly required to extend, automate, and customize a wide range of functionality. This article describes the state-of-the-art of the principal technologies for customizing CAD systems. And we have implemented an application that enables the parametric design by directly inputting numerical values of parameters for a CAD model. Based on this application, we have developed another system that makes it possible sharing of part family data between SolidEdge and Pro/Engineer. Through customization of CAD systems, it is possible to improve the product quality using external knowledge-based systems or to integrate with external system such as CAE tools. This paper can be a guide for engineering designers who want to customize CAD systems.

  • The majority of previous studios on tolerance synthesis have viewed the issue as a design methodology to determine optimal component tolerances on behalf of a manufacturer. while meeting given assembly tolerance requirements Although a considerable amount of research has been done on this issue. a couple of important questions still remain unanswered First. how ran a design engineer quantitatively incorporate a customer's perception on a product quality into a tolerance synthesis scheme at the early design stage Second. how ran component tolerances and assembly tolerance be optimized in a simultaneous way? To answer these questions. this article presents the customer-driven concurrent tolerance synthesis which is facilitated by the notion of truncated distribution and the use of mathematical programming techniques. while adopting the major principles of Tagurhl philosophy. The work presented in the article is an effort to gain insight, which can be useful in practice when setting up guidelines for an overall tolerance synthesis.

  • There has been a need for predicting development efforts and costs of the system during the early stage of the software process and hundreds of metrics have been proposed for computer software, but not all provide practical support to the software engineer. Some demand measurement that is too complex, others are so esoteric that few real-world professionals have any hope of understanding them, and others violate the basic intuitive notions of what high-quality software really is. It is worthwhile that metrics should be tailored to best accommodate specific products and processes after grasping their good and no good point. This paper describes two size estimation techniques, the Karner technique and the Marchesi technique, and compares and analyzes them with proposed evaluation criteria. Both techniques are to estimate software size analyzed by use case that is mainly described during the object-oriented analysis phase. We also present an empirical comparison of them, both are applied in the Internet Medicine Prescription System. We also propose some guidance for experiments based on our analysis. We believe that it should be facilitating project management more effective by adjusting software metrics properly.

  • The control process involving pure time delays presents a continuing challenge to the control system engineer. The nonlinear nature of the delay which can be introduced into the system make the use of conventional control algorithms a poor prospect. The Smith Predictor was developed to alleviate this problem. Unfortunately the quality of control achieved with the Smith Predictor is known to be sensitive to modelling errors. Only recently have researchers attempted to quantify the Smith Predictor controller's robustness to modelling errors. In several studies stability boundaries were plotted as functions of errors in parameters. But the research results address the question of performance of Smith Predictor controllers, In this paper, the Rule based Expert Systems for performance improvement of the Smith Predictor controller are developed.

  • The Government declared 'Low-Carbon Green Growth' as the new national vision for future development to improve economic growth and quality of life through higher energy efficiency, less energy consumption, wider use of renewable energy, etc. Korea can no longer delay participating in international efforts against global warming by reducing carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gas emissions. Thus low-carbon green growth is not a matter of choice, and it becomes indispensible to sustaining the nation's economic development. The Government is determined to take the initiative in speeding up economic recovery by carrying out the large scale investment projects such as the Korean version of a 'Green New Deal. The 49 trillion-won projects include river improvement, eco-friendly transportation networks, advanced information infrastructure, water resources & dam construction, green cars & clean energy development, etc. which will create nearly one million new jobs over the next four years.

  • 콘크리트 공사시방에 있어서 강도 최저강도를 지정하는 것이 오늘날 까지의 관습으로 되어있다. 즉, 몇개의 강도시험의 평균치가 얼마이상 이어야 된다든가, 전부의 콘크리트가 얼마 이상의 압축강도를 갖어야 된다든가, 또는 콘크리트는 28일 압축강도 얼마를 낼 수 있도록 콘크리트 단위용 적당 cement를 몇 kg, 혹은 몇 포대를 사용해야 된다 든가로 규정되는 것이 보통으로 되여 있다. 그러나 이 방법만으로는 그 콘크리트의 실제의 안전율을 예측할 수 없을뿐만 아니라 균질한 콘크리트를 얻는것을 기대할 수가 없을 것이다. 즉 합리적인 시방이 되지 못 한다. 두말 할 것도 없이 우리는 현장에서 건축물설계자가 요구하는 강도의 콘크리트를 얻어야 될 것이고, 또 한편으로 그 강도가 골고루 되어야 할 것이다. 즉 강도의 변화가 심하지 않아야 될 것이다. 이것을 기대하기 위하여 concrete 제조현장에서 통계학적 이론에 입각한 품질관리를 행하는 것이다. 그렇게 하므로서 보다 합리적인 시방이 이루어지게 된다. 현재 미국에서는 콘크리트 공사의 큰 현장에서 concrete 생산 품질관리를 행하고 있는 것으로 안다. 그러면 여하한 이론에 입각하여 현장에서 다량으로 concrete를 생산할때에 그 품질을 관리하느냐 하는 것을 현재 미국에서 propose 되여 있는 안과 ASTM에 규정되여 있는것을 중심으로 소개하고 아울러 concrete 공사에서 강도에 관한 시방을 앞으로 이끄러, 나갈 방향을 제시하고저 한다.

A study on the work study application in industry (작업관리기법의 활용실태에 관한 조사연구)

  • Study was made for the work study application in industry by sampling one thousand manufacturing companies. Small and medium industries are far behind in systematic application of the work study technique. Large industries are gradually introducing the work study technique systematically in line with the nation-wide quality control movement. Major sessions that the industries feel important in IE curriculum were QC, Work study and Cost accounting followed by the Organization theory, Industrial psychology, and Labor relations. Most of the industries were still less aware of the sophisticated fields such as OR, SE and Simulation. They put more emphasis on QC and TQC and as a result, work study should be closely bounded to TQC in order to systemize the work study application in the future.

  • The national 2G-3G roaming is emerging as one of essential and important issues In Korea in connection with the recent granting of 3G licenses. Accustomed to the current seamless coverage and superb quality of 2G networks, many subscribers have very high expectations of an equal or better service provisioning by 3G networks. However, it is very unlikely for 3G operators to successfully build their networks as comprehensive as the current 2G networks in the beginning of network implementation and commercial launch. Therefore,3G operators are seriously considering the national 2G-3G roaming in Korea. In this paper. 1 would like to discuss and present a technical implementation scheme and problems that need to be solved fer successfully realizing the national 2G-3G roaming.
