A Study on the Determination of Formaldehyde Effluent Limitation in the Industrial Wastewater (산업계 배출수에서 포름알데히드의 배출허용기준 설정방안 고찰)

  • This study looked at how to establish effluent limitation standards for formaldehyde, a toxic chemical widely used in industries. To this end, we reviewed Water Quality Based Effluent Limitation (WQBEL), Technology Based Effluent Limitation (TBEL), and water quality criteria for protection of human health and aquatic organism. Based on the results, we estimated formaldehyde effluent limitation standards appropriate to control water quality of industrial wastewater in Korea. However, this study has limits due to the lack of some data necessary in estimating formaldehyde effluent limitation. For example, although water quality criteria based on non-carcinogenic properties of formaldehyde were calculated, those based on carcinogenic properties were not be able to estimate because of the absence of applicable cancer potency factor q1. Without applicable factor, we calculated water quality standards for formaldehyde based on water quality criteria of advanced countries including the United States, while with no water quality standard we referred to applicable drinking water quality standards of other countries. For eco-toxicity based on water quality criteria, proper figures could not be calculated since there have been few reliable data.

To improve this because complete charge department for quality control appears that organization management need complete charge department being expose by greatly unprepared misgovernment in heavy hydrogen building company, expense that CEO under direct control histiocyte modeling air with AHP analysis is economical will be cost, but is construed can bring excellent effect in operation management side of quality and organization such as cost-cutting effect in maintenance side and I should do so that can occupy competitive power high position with tissue at active quality complete charge deputy.

  • In this paper we propose a new scheme of watermarking using the discrete wavelet transform, the discrete cosine transform, and the performance evaluation function, which does not deteriorate image quality and have robustness to attacks such as compression and scaling. moreover even if a detected watermark, which is a bit sequence in this paper, has some error bits, it can be correctly recovered using correlation-based determination scheme.

  • As a part of studies on the quality control of crude drug preparation drinks, ginseng saponins were identified by HPLC. Ginsenoside-Rb1 was determined quantitatively by HPLC. Ginsenoside MeOH/H2O(65:35:10, v/v) on Si-gel plate. Ginsenoside-Rb1 content determined by HPLC on Lichrosorbtract drinks was 57.5-70.4% compared to the content in the red ginseng extract.

  • The integration of intelligent robots into manufacturing systems should positively impact the product quality and productivity. A new theory of object location and recognition using the supporting plane is presented. The unknown supporting points are determined by image coordinates, known camera parameters, and joint coordinates of the robot manipulators. This is developed by using the geometrical interpretation of perspective projection and the geometrical constraints of industrial environments. This can be applied to solve typical robot vision problems such as determination of position, orientation, and recognition of objects.

  • It is well known that Dioscoreae Rhizoma tonifies and benefits the Spleen and Stomach, benefits the Lung and nourishes the Kidney. A major component isolated from this herb consist of dioscin, diosgenin, allantoin, starch, alanin, mucilage, choline, amylase, and glycoprotein. In this study, we aimed to measure the content of allantoin, one of major component, to determine the quality of Dioscoreae Rhizoma.
