Public and private sectors are experiencing a worldwide economic depression originated from the failure of U.S. financial system. At a harsh time like this, policy-makers need to understand more about the effects of the creative leadership in the digital era. However, there haven't been enough studies performed on this field in Korea. This study aims to fill the blank and learn more about the correlation between creative leadership and organizational effectiveness. To achieve this goal, various previous leadership studies have been reviewed in terms of organizational behaviors, comparative culture studies, and etc. In the end, this study argues previous qualitative studies' weaknesses and limitations, and tries to suggest new aspect of qualitative research method of creative leadership.

The purpose of this study was to develop a Korean assessment model for the patients with voice disorders. Interviews were conducted with 4 voice therapists and the results were analyzed by using a qualitative, constant-comparative design. According to the three themes emerged from the qualitative analysis, 10 subthemes were derived. The three main themes were 1) consideration on the disordered voice, 2) status quo of instrumental and perceptual evaluation, and 3) suggestions for the other voice therapists. The 10 subthemes can be summarized as the following: 1) judgment centering on the patients, 2) increase of the reliability of instrumental and perceptual evaluation, 3) voice therapists' positive participation in the assessment procedure of voice disorder.

Purpose: This study investigated the parenting experiences of mothers of young children born moderate-to-late preterm (MLPT) in South Korea. Methods: In this qualitative study, semi-structured focus group interviews were conducted with 10 mothers of MLPT children from infancy to preschool age. The interviews were video-recorded, transcribed verbatim, and analyzed using qualitative content analysis. Results: Four categories resulted from the analysis of parenting experiences of mothers with young MLPT children, as follows: "becoming a mother of an early-born child", "difficulties as the primary caregiver for a high-risk child", "helpful social support, but still a lack of professional support for parenting a high-risk child", and "mothers and children growing together". Conclusion: Mothers of young MLPT children experienced difficulties due to concerns about their child's health, growth and development, and insufficient child-rearing support. Therefore, social support systems should be strengthened and more aggressive nursing strategies should be adopted for mothers of young MLPT children.

Objectives: To analyze the reports of qualitative research about natural disasters in Korea. Methods: Nine published qualitative research studies were selected for the analysis. The selected reports were analyzed by Consolidated Criteria for Reporting Qualitative Research (COREQ), a reporting guideline for qualitative research. In addition, each subject of the study was qualitatively synthesized. Results: In the quality assessment using COREQ, detailed information about the researchers were insufficient. The results of the studies were integrated into six themes: "Disaster experience", "Disaster damage", "Dealing with disasters", "Disaster compensation issues", "Arbitration Resources", and "Post-disaster change". Conclusions: In further qualitative research on natural disasters, it is necessary to report the research according to the COREQ checklist. Based on the results of this study, continuous attention and research are needed to explore the areas of Korean medicine care in the event of a disaster.

본 연구는 질적 연구를 시작하는 초보 연구자들을 위해 질적 연구의 기본적인 배경 학적 이론과 방법의 틀을 제시하고, 특수체육에서 질적 연구의 질을 평가하는 기준을 제시하는 데 있다. 첫째, 질적 연구의 기본이 되는 인식론의 이해를 설명하였다. 둘째, 질적 연구에서 가장 많이 활용되는 자료 수집 방법론을 제시하였다. 셋째, 질적 연구에서 자료 분석 방법과 타당성 확보의 근거를 제시하였다. 마지막으로, 특수체육 영역에서 활용되는 질적 연구 질의 평가 기준을 제시하였다. 국 내외 특수체육 분야에서 질적 연구의 숫자는 계속 늘어나고 있고 그 중요성 또한 계속 강조되고 있다. 질적 연구는 연구자들이 참여자들을 관찰, 이해, 분석 그리고 해석하는 과정을 요구하기 때문에 연구자의 역할은 대단히 중요하다. 따라서, 질적 연구를 처음 시작하는 연구자들은 질적 연구의 본질적인 이해와 연구 방법론의 습득이 요구된다. 또한, 지속적인 질적 연구의 질의 평가로 좀 더 깊이 있는 질적 연구의 결과물이 특수체육 분야에 적용돼야 할 것이다.

Aircraft survivability is determined by the susceptibility and the vulnerability. The aircraft susceptibility and vulnerability depend upon the hardware and software factors. Each of the hardware and software factors consisted of the qualitative and quantitative attributes varies according to the time of the mission. In order to establish the mathermatical model to analyze and evaluate the aircraft survivability, qualitative factors have to be transformed into quantitative factors. Even if many researches in the area of dynamic concept analysis and conversion of qualitative factors into the quantitative factors has been insufficient. This research enhances these insufficient area by developing a reliable aircarft survivability analysis method. The major areas of this research are as follows. First, a method for the conversion of the qualitative factors into the quantitative factors is developed by combining the Fuzzy Set Theory concept and the Delphi Technique. Second, by using the stochastic network diagram for the dynamic survivability analysis, the aircraft survivability and the probability of kill are calculated from the state probability for the situation during mission. The advantage of the analysis technique developed in this research includes ease of use and flexibility. In other words, in any given aircraft's mission execution under any variable probability density function, the developed computer program is able to analyze and evaluate the aircraft survivability.

Korea's R&D investment has significantly increased in recent years. However, the efficiency of R&D investment is still in question. In order to examine the ways to improve the efficiency of R&D investment, this paper presents dynamic analysis on both quantitative and qualitative efficiency of R&D projects. A Data Envelopment Analysis(DEA)/Window method is used to analyze static and dynamic efficiencies of Industrial Material R&D projects in Korea from 2012 to 2016. As a result, statistically significant differences between quantitative and qualitative efficiency have been found. It has been observed that characteristics of Decision Making Units(DMUs) have an impact on both static and dynamic efficiencies. In particular, textile and ceramic projects showed relatively stable qualitative efficiency for a short-term perspective, while steel and chemical projects showed such stability for a long-term perspective. Among the types of project principals, universities showed relatively stable efficiency, compared with private sectors and research institutes. The results of this paper can be used as a guideline to manage the performance and stability of R&D projects' efficiency.

Purpose: The greatest asset to all organizations is the employees and they should be guarded against factors hindering their work ability. Nevertheless, most organizations are always more concerned about making profits to the extent of forgetting their employee's welfare. On this point, this study aims to examine employee's work-related stress and its relationship with work ability. Research design, data and methodology: This study focused on obtaining mostly peer-reviewed works to suggest research findings, assuming that qualitative literature approach allows researchers to explore in-depth information concerning complex issues in a standard life setting. Numerous prior researchers applied their research design in content analysis, especially where various concepts are present for analysis. Results: Based on numerous qualitative textual resources, this study found that human resource practitioners should plan stress management strategies for their employees to apply five kinds of solutions that the current study suggests because it is vital to ensure their wellbeing towards sustaining their performance. Conclusions: All in all, based on the findings, this study concludes that employee's work stress negatively impacts their work ability with affecting their mental health. As a result, there is little doubt that practitioners should regularly monitor the working environment for stress-related factors besides creating a healthy working environment for all employees.

It is reported that many users of the subways in Seoul are not currently satisfied with the subway services. The cause of the dissatisfaction is that the qualitative items and indexes are not considered properly, and also does not diversify the evaluation items to follow the change of subway environment. Therefore in this study the evaluation items and indexes that can reflect of the subway users' characteristics are examined and synthesized. Then the characteristics of service are analyzed for the senior subway system users and junior subway system users that are classified with the cluster analysis. The result of the study is that the majority of users on subway are not satisfied the qualitative items which are safety, kindness, comfortableness, convenience excepting for punctuality and accessibility. So, if the service of subway users improve, the qualitative items is needed to consider with quantitative items.
