  • 한국 품질경영의 추진현황을 파악하고 향후 발전방향을 모색하기 위해서 최근에 산학관에 있는 품질관련 전문가그룹을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 본 발표는 설문조사 과정을 소개하고 설문조사의 결과를 품질경영 정의, 추진현황, 그리고 향후 발전방향으로 분류하여 제시한다. 본 연구의 의미는 그간 경험적으로 판단되어 왔던 핵심 품질활동에 대한 전문가 그룹의 견해를 설문조사를 통해서 확인하였다는 점과 이를 근거로 향후 발전방향을 제시하였다는 것이다.

Piezoelectric Properties of PZW-PMN-PZT Low Loss Multilayer Actuator according to the Number of Multilayer using Pure Ag Internal Electrode (순수한 Ag 내부전극을 사용한 PZW-PMN-PZT 저손실 적층 액츄에이터의 적층수에 따른 압전 특성)

  • In this paper, in order to develop low loss multilayer actuator, piezoelectric properties of PZW-PMN-PZT multilayer actuator sintered at $900^{\circ}C$ low temperature were investigated according to the number of multilayer. The multilayer actuator was fabricated using tape casting method and used pure Ag internal electrode. The density above $8.0\;g/cm^3$ was obtained at all specimens. With increasing number of multilayer, effective electromechanical coupling factor($k_{eff}$) was increased. $k_{eff}$ of multilayer actuator shows the maximum value of 0.283 at 11 layers actuator. However, effective mechanical quality factor(Qm') was decreased according to the increase of number of multilayer. The Qm' of multilayer actuator showed the maximum value of 920 at 5 layers actuator.

Electrical Characteristics of SMD Type Ceramic Resonators using PbTiO3 System as a Function of Electrode Radius Size (전극직경 크기에 따른 SMD형 PbTiO3계 세라믹 공진자의 전기적 특성)

  • In this study, the high frequency SMD ceramic resonators with the size of $3.7{\times}3.1{\times}0.385\textrm{mm}^3$ were fabricated using $Pb_{0.88}(La_{0.6}Nd_{0.4})_{0.08}(Mn_{1/3}Sb_{2/3})_{0.02}Ti_{0.98}O_3$ ceramics with the variations of electrode radius size. With increasing the electrode radius size, resonant resistance in third overtone mode was decreased and electromechanical coupling factor($k_{t3}$) in third overtone mode was showed constant values. Taking into consideration mechanical quality factor($Qm_{t3}$) of 5,552 and dynamic range(D.R) of 60.72dB in third overtone mode, the ceramic resonator with the electrode radius size of $\theta$1.13mm was suitable for 20MHz resonator application.

Effect of CuO on the PSN-PNN-PZT Ceramics (CuO가 PSN-PNN-PZT 세라믹스에 미치는 영향)

  • In this study, to develop the low temperature sintering ceramics for multilayer piezoelectric transformer, PSN-PNN-PZT system ceramics were manufactured as a function of CuO addition. Its dielectric and piezoelectric characteristics were investigated. With increasing the amount of CuO addition, grain size was increased and density increased until 0.3wt% CuO. Taking into consideration electromechanical coupling factor(kp) of 0.53, mechanical quality factor(Qm) of 423 and ${\epsilon}r$ of 1759, it can be cincluded that the CuO 0.5wt% added composition sintered at $920^{\circ}C$ is suitable for piezoelectric transformer application if Qm is improved.

  • This study sets a purpose to realize what top managements in companies think as critical success factors of QM, using CSF(Critical Success Factors) method. The methodology of this study consists of literature research and empirical analysis using data collected from interviewing and questionnaire. Medium and small sized manufacturing companies are the subject of this study. Following CSFs of QM are found. (1)Management philosophy of attaching great importance to customer and customer satisfaction. (2)Creation of atmosphere that attach great importance to technology. (3)Philosophy of honesty and faithfulness. (4)Positive thinking and creation of atmosphere that help with each other. (5)Rearmament of entrepreneur spirit. (6)Need on recognition of partnership between labor and management. (7)Participation and will of top management. (8)Principle of Participation of entire members.   • The effect of ISO 9000 jcertification for quality management is investigated. 213 domestic manufacturing companies which had been certified more than one and half year ago were selected to send the questionnaires for a field survey. Among them 89 were returned. Crosby's Quality Management Maturity Grid' is utilized for analyzing the effect of ISO 9000 certification aquistion. Comparisons for the QM maturity level are made between before- and after-aquisition. It is shown that, on the average, the QM maturity level had been increased from awakening (stage 2) to the mid point of enlightenment(stage 3) and wisdom(stage 4).

  • 사중극 질량분석기(Quadrupole Mass Spectrometer, QMS)의 신뢰성을 향상시키기 위해 이온소스를 개선하고 평가하였다. 공정가스에 의한 오염 및 charging 효과로 인해 이온전류가 감소하는 현상을 발견하였고 이를 개선하기 위해 이온소스의 표면 거칠기를 줄여서 신뢰성을 향상시켰다. 또한 이온소스를 평가하는 방법으로 희석된 혼합가스를 이용하여 MDPP (Minimum Detectable Partial Pressure)를 측정하였고 이를 위해 희석된 가스의 이온 전류와 배경 노이즈의 비율(Signal/Noise)을 극대화시키면서 QMS를 튜닝하였다. 이 평가방법을 이용하여 상용 이온소스와 한국표준과학연구원에서 제작한 두 종류의 이온소스를 평가 비교하였다. QMS에 대한 국제표준안(ISO/TC 112 CD14291) 제정을 위한 진행상황도 소개하려고 한다.

QMS를 이용한 반도체 공정용 혼합 기체 조성비의 정량적 측정 기술

  • QMS(Quadruple Mass Spectrometer)를 사용하여 혼합 기체의 조성비를 측정하는 기술로 He, $NF_3$, $CF_4$, $SF_6$가 포함된 공정에서 사용되는 가스를 사용하여 실제 조성비를 정량적으로 구하는 방법을 연구하였다. 실험을 위해 압력을 $1{\times}10^{-8}Torr$로 배기하였고, 반복 실험을 통하여 최적의 값으로 QMS를 튜닝을 한 후 He, $NF_3$, $CF_4$, $SF_6$가스에 대한 감도를 구하였다. 측정된 감도 값을 바탕으로 총 10회의 반복 측정한 데이터를 이용하여 농도 값을 얻었다. 사용된 가스는 한국표준과학연구원 표준가스실에 제작한 가스이다. 실험 데이터를 이용한 농도와 실제 농도를 비교한 결과 5% 이내의 오차 범위에서 농도 측정이 가능했다.
