Adaptive Harmonic Control for DC Input Voltage Fluctuation of PWM Inverter (PWM인버터의 DC입력전달 맥동에 대한 고조파 적응제어)

  • PWM techniques which eliminate and reduce harmonics of output voltage in PWM Inverter driving System with fluctuating input volotage are described. First, harmonic factors are analyzed from harmonic equation of general PWM waveform and by examination of control possiblity of each factor, controllable factor is selected. Applying controllable factor to NPWM, PWM techniques using reference wave and carrier wave modulation are introduced. Actually, by the experiment applied with this strategy, the reduction of harmonics of output voltage is confirmed.

  • Cascaded NPC/H-bridge 인버터의 기존 Level-Shift PWM에서는 한 stack에서 전력 및 손실 불균형이 발생하게 된다. 이에 따라 손실 불균형을 개선하기 위해 새로운 Level Shift PWM을 개발하였고, PSIM 9.14를 통해 기존의 PWM 기법들과 비교 분석 하였다.

  • In this paper, vector control of induction motor drives using space current vector PWM is presented. The scheme gives advantages, besides robustness to inverter arm-shoot, sinusoidal input current and voltage for induction motors. In addition, space vector PWM for CSI produces faster transient response than conventional pattern PWM. Also, a modulation index control is proposed.

  • 본 논문에서는 3-레벨 인버터 시스템의 DC 링크 전압 밸런싱과 동시에 공통모드 전압의 변동주파수를 최소화 하여 누설 전류를 저감하는 새로운 PWM 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 PWM은 공통모드전압과 중간점 제어능력에 따라 공간벡터를 분류하고 중간점 전압을 제어하면서 공통모드 전압의 변동이 최소화되는 벡터를 선택하도록 구성한다. 본 논문에서는 시뮬레이션을 통하여 제안된 PWM의 동작을 입증하였다.

  • PWM(Pulse Width Modulation) 컨버터의 제어에 있어서, 입력전압의 왜곡을 고려하지 않을 경우, 시스템의 성능 저하를 초래하게 된다. 본 논문은 왜곡된 3상 입력전압이 PWM 컨버터에 미치는 영향을 분석하고, 성능을 개선하기 위한 제어기를 설계한다. 제안된 방식은 단위 역률을 만족시키면서, THD(Total Harmonic Distortion) 및 DC-link 전압의 저차 ripple을 감소시킨다.

  • An analog implementation of space vector PWM is proposed in this paper. It is shown that a space vector PWM can be implemented by adding a zero sequency voltage to reference voltage of triangle comparison PWM. The proposed scheme is implemented by six diodes and, an operational amplifier circuit and, a few resistors.

  • This paper proposes a current compensation method of a three phase PWM converter. The phase angle of utility voltage is essential to control a PWM converter. In the case of using synchronous reference frame PLL to detect the phase angle of the distorted source, harmonics of source voltage cause the phase angle to be distorted. PWM converter control by the distorted phase angle results in input current harmonics. This paper proposes a current compensation method which can limit THD of Input currents below to 5% that is the harmonic current requirements by IEEE std. 519. Its validity is verified by simulation and experiment.

  • This paper concerns a pulse-width-modulation (PWM) controller design technique using digital redesign. Digital redesign is to convert a well-designed analog controller into an equivalent pulse-amplitude-modulation (PAM) controller maintaining the original analog control system in the sense of state-matching. In similar line of conversion concept, the redesigned PAM controller is converted into a PWM controller using the equivalent area principle. To convincingly visualize the proposed technique, an computer simulation example-attitude control of artificial satellite system is included.

  • In this paper filtering techniques to reduce the adverse effects of motor leads on high-frequency PWM inverter fed AC motor drives are presented. The filter was designed to keep the motor terminal from the cable surge impedance to reduce overvoltage reflections ringing and the dv/dt, di/dt, at the motor terminals. Specially the output filter is used to limit the rate of the inverter output voltage and reduce common mode noise to the motor, The performance of the output filter is evaluated through simulations and experiment on PWM inverter-fed AC motor drive. An experimental PWM drive system reduction of conducted EMI was implemented on an available TMS320C31 microprocessor control board Finally, experimental result shows inverter output filter reduces more common mode voltage than low pass filter also reduce overoltage and ringing at the motor terminal.

  • A current mode PWM method applied one cycle response to averaging circuit model Buck converters is presented. The controller nonlinear PWM implement is based on the error between the switched variable and the response reference to zero each cycle. As the result, the system transfer function is derived as a function of the desired close loop poles, simplifying the design procedure and bringing forward all the important characteristics of the close loop system. The proposed controller has significant advantages over conventional current mode control methods in noise susceptibility, dynamic response and without inductor current sensing, Finally, the simulation and experiment results confirm the proposed PWM control techniques.
