This research subdivided the groups of baby clothes purchasers by consumer value factors in order to study clothing behavior by the value group of baby clothes purchasers and to examine differences in shopping propensity, pursuit benefits, evaluation criteria, and utilization of information sources depending on the value groups 1. A total of three factors - the pursuit of a stable life, the pursuit of achievement, and the pursuit of pleasure - were derived by conducting a factor analysis on the value dimensions of baby clothes purchasers. The value types of baby clothes purchasers were classified into three groups - the group of the pursuit of achievement, the group of the pursuit of stability and pleasure, and the passive group as the result of conducting cluster analysis on the basis of three types of personal value factors. 2. In the difference of shopping propensity by the value group, the group of the pursuit of achievement and the group of the pursuit of stability and pleasure were found to be the group having economical shopping propensity. In the difference of pursuit benefits by the value group, the passive group appeared to be the group in pursuit of fashion, and it could be seen that the group of the pursuit of achievement and the group of the pursuit of stability and pleasure were highly interested in the pursuit of individuality and practicality. 3. In the evaluation criteria of clothes by the value group of baby clothes purchasers, the group of the pursuit of achievement was found to consider physical criteria as important evaluation criteria, and the group of the pursuit of stability and pleasure was found to consider aesthetic criteria as important evaluation criteria. In the utilization of information sources by the value group of baby clothes purchasers, the passive group was found to be influenced most by market-oriented information sources.
This study aimed to analyze the preference, the factors of benefits sought, and the difference of benefits sought for smart clothing based on demographic characteristics. This survey study used questionnaire. The subjects of the survey consisted of men and women with ages ranging from twenty to fifty years old, who were living in Gyeongnam region. For the collected data analysis, Factor analysis, t-test, ANOVA, and Duncan multiple range tests were used by SPSS 23. The results obtained were as follows. The different analysis results for smart clothing based on demographic characteristics showed a significant difference with respect to marital status, age, monthly income, and occupation, but showed an insignificant difference with respect to gender. The factors of benefits sought for smart clothing were extracted from five factors-pursuit; image innovation and improvement, pursuit of healthcare, pursuit of body protection, pursuit of amusement and pleasure, and pursuit of hi-tech function. The different analysis results of smart clothing according to demographic characteristics showed a significant difference for pursuit of healthcare only with respect to gender, for pursuit of image innovation and improvement, healthcare, amusement and pleasure, and hi-tech function with respect to marital status, for pursuit of image innovation and improvement, healthcare, amusement and pleasure, and hi-tech function with respect to age, for pursuit of healthcare and body protection with respect to monthly income, and for all five factors with respect to occupation.
This paper aims to identify the impact on self-satisfaction of shopping tendencies and purchase behaviors for luxury goods. The research was conducted by survey method using questionnaires. The subjects of this study were female consumers from 20 to years old with a high purchasing capability for luxury goods. Using the statistics program SPSS 21.0, factor analysis, reliability analysis, one-way ANOVA, and multiple-regression analysis were executed. The analysis results are summarized below. For shopping tendency depending on ages, pleasure pursuit tendency showed insignificant difference in 40~50s, but significant difference in 20~30s. For the self-satisfaction, the interpersonal satisfaction showed the difference by age group, which was much higher in the respondents in 30~50s than those in 20s. Individuality pursuit tendency and rational shopping tendency had impact on self-satisfaction and rational shopping tendency on interpersonal satisfaction in 20s. Pleasure pursuit tendency and rational shopping tendency had impact on self-satisfaction and interpersonal satisfaction and pleasure pursuit tendency on the economic satisfaction in 30s. Pleasure pursuit tendency had impact on self-satisfaction and economic satisfaction and rational satisfaction on interpersonal satisfaction in 40s. Pleasure pursuit tendency and rational shopping tendency had impact on self-satisfaction and interpersonal satisfaction in 50s. High quality had impact on self-satisfaction and economic satisfaction and practicality on interpersonal satisfaction in 20s. High quality had impact on self-satisfaction and interpersonal satisfaction in 30s. High quality had impact on interpersonal satisfaction in 40s. High quality had impact on all elements of self-satisfaction for the respondents in 50s, practicality had negative impact on interpersonal satisfaction.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of duty free shop consumers' store benefits sought and fashion merchandise shopping orientation on store satisfaction. Survey data were collected from questionnaires filled out by 194 domestic consumers who had purchase experience of fashion goods in duty free shops located in Korea. The data were analyzed by reliability analysis, factor analysis, and multiple regression analysis. The results of this study were as follows: First, the store benefits sought was categorized into five factors such as pursuit of convenience, salesperson/atmosphere, promotion, product quality, and product fashionability/variety. The fashion merchandise shopping orientation was categorized into six factors such as pleasure orientation, pursuit of fashion, pursuit of brand, planned orientation, pursuit of confidence, and convenience orientation. The store satisfaction was categorized into six factors such as atmosphere/reputation of store, promotion, product fashionability/variety, convenience, price, and salesperson. Second, the store benefits sought, composed of pursuit of convenience, salesperson/atmosphere, promotion, product quality, and product fashionability/variety, had an effect on the store satisfaction. Third, the shopping orientation such as pleasure orientation, pursuit of fashion, pursuit of brand, and planned orientation, with the exception of pursuit of confidence and convenience orientation, had an effect on the store satisfaction.
The purposes of this study were to: 1) identify sub-factors of fashion shopping orientation (FSO) in adults aged 20 through 39, and analyze the differences among those FSO factors according to classified groups, which were based on gender and purchase frequency in a mobile shopping mall, and 2) to investigate the effects of FSO factors on mobile purchase intention according to the same classified groups. The questionnaire was conducted from November 10, 2015 to November 20, 2015 and its 432 respondents were classified into four groups, which were male/heavy purchaser, male/light purchaser, female/heavy purchaser, and female/light purchaser. The results of this study were as follows: First, fashion shopping orientation consisted of five sub-factors, which included "conspicuous brand pursuit", "economic pursuit", "pleasure/trend pursuit", "impulse shopping", and "convenience pursuit". Second, There were significant differences in three factors of FSO between male purchasers and female purchasers. Male purchasers showed higher tendency than female purchasers in "conspicuous brand pursuit", while female purchasers showed higher tendency than male purchasers in "economic pursuit" and "convenience pursuit". All the factors of FSO showed significant differences among the classified groups. Third, "economic pursuit", "pleasure/trend pursuit" and "convenience pursuit" affected mobile purchase intention in the case of male purchasers while "economic pursuit" and "conspicuous brand pursuit" had a influence on mobile purchase intention in the case of female purchasers. Fourth, the factors of FSO affected mobile purchase intention partly in each group. In conclusion. "economic pursuit" was proven to be the main influential factor to induce consumers to have a mobile purchase intention.
This study investigates how the type of fashion shopping orientation influence the selection criteria, attitudes, and preference of fashion products developed through collaboration. For data collection, the study conducted a survey in the Seoul and Metropolitan areas. The results are as follows: 1. Shopping orientation was identified with seven factors: pursuit of pleasure, trend, planning, uniqueness, famous brand, economic efficiency, and conspicuous consumption. Attitudes toward the collaborated of fashion products could be classified into two factors of reasonable ostentation and aesthetic value orientation. 2. The shopping orientation of the pursuit of trend is related to reasonable ostentation; in addition, the shopping orientation for the pursuit of uniqueness and economy is positively associated with an aesthetic value orientation. 3. The factors of fashion pursuit had a great positive effect on their preference for collaboration type among fashion brands and the factors of uniqueness and pleasure pursuit had a positive effect on the preference for collaboration type with fashion designers and artists. This showed that the pleasure pursuit factor had a positive effect on the collaboration type preference for celebrities. Fashion companies may be able to establish effective merchandising and marketing strategies that fit the characteristics and types of fashion collaboration.

The purposes of this study was to investigate the effects of materialism value on the clothing shopping orientation and impulse buying behaviors of Chinese female consumers. The subjects were 417 female millennials in Gillim-province, China. The research method was a survey, and the questionnaire consisted of questions to ascertain materialism value, clothing shopping orientation, impulse buying behaviors, and the subjects' demographic characteristics. For data analysis, descriptive statistics, Cronbach's α, factor analysis, and regression analysis were performed. The results of this study were as follows: First, materialism value was derived with 3 factors (happiness pursuit, possession-oriented, and success judgement). Second, the clothing shopping orientation was derived with 5 factors (trend pursuit, pleasure pursuit, brand pursuit, economic pursuit, and convenience pursuit). Third, the impulse buying behavior was derived with 4 factors (pure, planned, reminder, and implicit impulse buying). Forth, materialism value had significant effects on clothing shopping orientation. The higher the value of materialism, the more the brand pursuit, pleasure pursuit, and trend pursuit shopping orientation increased, while the economic pursuit and convenience pursuit shopping orientation decreased. Fifth, materialism value had significant effect on pure and planned impulse buying behaviors. As the value of materialism increased, pure and planned impulsive buying behaviors increased. This study suggested that materialism value is an effective variable to understand the clothing shopping orientation and clothing impulse buying behavior.
The purposes of this study were to identity the effects of shopping orientation and fashion propensity on imported cosmetics repurchase intention of single women. Self-administered questionnaire was used for data collection from 310 single women aged 25-34. The results were as follows: 1. The factors of shopping orientation of single women were pleasure, ostentation, economy, individuality, convenience of location, and convenience of service. And the factors of fashion propensity were fashion interest and fashion leadership. 2. Single women with higher pleasure pursuit were younger, spent pocket money and purchased imported cosmetics more. Ostentation pursuiters had higher incomes, but economy pursuiters were younger, spent pocket money and purchased imported cosmetics less. Individuality pursuiters were older, and spent more pocket money and posessed imported cosmetics more. Convenience of location pursuiters posessed more imported cosmetics, but convenience of service pursuiters were highly educated. Single women with higher fashion interest were younger, higher income and education level, and posessed imported cosmetics more. And single women with higher fashion leadership were highly educated and purchased imported cosmetics more. 3. Imported cosmetics repurchase intention were effected by pocket money, purchasing power and amount of imported cosmetics, pleasure pursuit, fashion interest positively, but economy pursuit negatively.
The main findings are as follows: First, both male and female group, image display was showed higher scores than the product display in the dimensions of 'interest' and 'impression, and the product display presented higher scores than the image display in the dimensions of 'information'. Second, in the dimensions of 'interest', more interest was demonstrated in image display for both male and female consumer group irrelevant to clothing shopping values. The pleasure pursuit consumer group of male and female presented more interest toward the both types of window display. Third, in the dimensions of 'information', the product display had more effect for both sex groups and the pleasure pursuit consumer group was seeking more information than the others groups through the window display. Fourth, in the dimensions of 'impression', the image display formed stronger impression and image for both male and female consumer group and the pleasure pursuit group showed higher score of impression formation than the other two groups.

This study investigates the differences in the purchasing behavior of infant & children's wear with the features of children and consumers. This study conducted a survey on female buyers of infant & children's wear. 558 questionnaires were analyzed by using SPSS 18.0 statistic program with factor analysis, Cronbach's ${\alpha}$, cluster analysis, ANOVA, and paired t-test. The results are as follows: 1. The buyer's value was identified with 3 factors: mental achievement value, social achievement value, and pleasure value. Three types of group by values were identified: group seeking mental social achievement, group seeking social achievement, and group seeking pleasure. 2. Fashion and conformity, pleasure pursuit, and reasonable price pursuit orientations showed significant differences among the value groups. 3. A significant difference was found in the imitation of wearing role models according to sibling relationships.
