This study reviewed corporate social responsibility activities of fashion companies and discussed strategies of social enterprises. The research was conducted on 6 Korean fashion companies with sales over KRW 1 trillion as of the end of the term in 2015. Corporate social responsibility activities of each company were investigated from economic, social and environmental viewpoints. The results of this study were as follows: First, each company promoted win-win growth, co-existence management, transparent management and ethics management through economic activities. They pursued win-win growth and co-existence management, which aimed to respect and grow with their partners. Also, they ensured transparent management and ethics management to show their moral management. Second, each company conducted various social contribution programs as part of their social activities. Through the programs, they made donations, supported welfare and culture, and practiced voluntary work, local activities, training and equal opportunities. Third, as for environmental activities, each company tried to protect nature through various activities such as donation to environmental organizations, environmental cleanup activities, environmental management from production to disposal, reuse, eco-friendly system, environmental volunteering, etc. Articles on fashion companies' social responsibility activities have an influence on boosting their attitude and image towards businesses.
The objective of this Paper was to identify the internal and external symbols of Punks, and to assess the significance of punk style giving an inspiration to many high fashion designers. For this objective. comprehension on widely discussed idea of punk, furthermore grasping the internal and external form by inquiring historically punk look, and importantly looking into new ideas pursued by punk fashion by studying traits of punk image in 1980's and after are done. Punk in the latter half of the 70's was anti-fashion expressed for the young of working class to rebel against the established generation. At first some of the fashion was popularized by the young who imitated pop stars under the specific economy of Britain, and others with movement of hippie Punk is aesthetics extremism which neglects traditionalism in the past but pursues newness. It denied traditional way of expression and principles of aesthetics but created newness. Punk look was symbolized as poor look. grotesque, androgynous, black, graffiti, and bricolage. And the internal meanings of these symbols are ego-screaming, expression of nihilism, resistance, irony and ridicule, search for hedonism. The punk phenomenon continues today. Some teens still cling to the complete look. whether they have punks' idea and value or not. Diverse elements of punk style play a major role in the current trend of fashion and a source of the fresh inspiration for the high fashion designers. Punk style is truly the story of a fad that turned to fashion.
Purpose: This study was carried out to find factors affecting weight-control behavior intention in female college students based on the theory of planned behavior. Methods: The subjects were 453 female students from everywhere other than the Gangwon Province and Jeju Island. Data were collected by using a questionnaire. Results: The factors affecting weight-control behavior intention in female college students within 2 weeks were attitudes and subjective norms. These two factors accounted for 20.0% of weight-control behavior intention. Also, when body shape satisfaction and BMI were added to variables of the theory of planned behavior like attitudes, subjective norms, and perceived behavior control, these 5 factors accounted for a total of 34.1%. Conclusion: Due to their distorted perception in preferring skinny body shapes, female college students are likely to attempt at inappropriate weight control behavior. Through intervention with such factors as attitudes and body image satisfaction, which have been derived from the results of this study, healthy weight control behavior should be pursued in practice.
The Purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between materialism and clothing buying behavior (clothing shopping orientation, clothing selection standards, use of information sources, store selection standards, purchase and purchase intention of imported clothing). The data were obtained from questionnaires completed by 400 women in the Taegu area whose age was 20 years and older. The SPSS/PC$^{+}$ package was used for data analysis which included a test of reliability, frequency, percentage, factor analysis, t-test, and x$^2$ test. There were significant differences in clothing buying behavior between groups who had a higher tendency and a lower tendency toward materialism. In other words, those who had a higher tendency toward materialism enjoyed their shopping and pursued the world-known brands, imported brands, the latest fashions, and conspicious consumption more than those who had a lower tendency of materialism. The former put a greater focus on the latest fashion styles, brand image, and design then the latter when the\ulcorner bought clothing. Those who had a higher tendency toward materialism utilized more information sources than those who had a lower tendency. The former made purchases from the stores where they stock famous world-known brands and well-advertised stores, and had a greater purchase intention of imported clothing than the latter. In the purchase of imported clothing there was no significant difference between two groups.s.
We experimentally investigate the evaporation characteristics of water droplet on surfaces of various wettabilities in the range of contact angle from 30$^{circ}$ to 150$^{circ}$. When a liquid droplet on a solid surface evaporates, the contact angle generally decreases with time and the evaporation rate varies with the droplet geometry such as the contact angle and the radius of curvature. Experimental data on the contact angle as a function of the droplet volume obtained by digital image analysis techniques cannot be explained by the existing theories. By measuring the temporal evolutions of the droplet radius and contact angle, we find the qualitative difference between the evaporation patterns on the hydrophilic surfaces where the contact radius remains constant initially and those on the superhydrophobic surfaces where the contact angle remains constant. Also, the evaporation rate is observed to depend on the surface material although the currently available models assume that the rate is solely determined by the droplet geometry. Despite the fact that the theory to explain this dependence on the surface remains to be pursued by the future work, we give the empirical relations that can be used to predict the droplet volume evolution for each surface. It is expected that the present study will contribute to interpreting the effect of droplet geometry on the evaporation.
Fashion style in movies delivers their image the atmosphere and becomes the means for containing the personality, spiritual world and inner thinking the characters in the movies and including its plot. When the American new cinema emerged in late 1960's and early 1970's in the American movie history, the new left wing which wants to overturn adult generation and the hippie culture which wants to escape from an existing system also emerged. Therefore, this study analyzed the fashion style in the movie 'Easy Rider (1969)', i.e. the representative new American movie which showed the isolation from adult generation and negative realities of the American society. From the movie, we can understand the young generation after the Vietnam war, i.e. baby boom generation, pursued the hippie culture as their young culture. With their strong self-consciousness, they formed their own lifestyle and values which are different from those of adult generation, and we can understand clothes were used as a tool to express their value system.

This research studies the aesthetic value of typography in fashion, within the framework of system for objective and multilateral research. For this purpose, a literature review and analysis of system and typography were performed. The scope of this research is from 2000 to 2015. The results of the research can be summarized as follows. First, by analyzing system and typography in modern fashion in order to set up a new theoretical standard, we found that the main values of typography in modern fashion concern functionality, hierarchy, stability, independency, and flexibility. Second, by analyzing of aesthetic value of typography in fashion within system, we found that main values the functionality of typography as a marketing tool, the hierarchy of typography as a slogan of subculture, the stability of typography for the increasing of collective belonging, the independency of typography as a linguistic playfulness, and the flexibility of typography as an image. Lastly, each aesthetic value of typography expressed in fashion has similarities and differences. It could be considered in the same vein as the system that always has a double-side character of dependency and independency, universality and individuality. This study has pursued to conduct more research on fashion within a framework of system.

In terms of expression, beauty illustration has become more diverse and innovative. Because of continued unique creative activities, more novelty has been pursued. In this study, beauty illustration in new artistic and decorative images was used to investigate the basic concepts of art activities, illustration and beauty illustration and make up for beauty illustration which adheres to traditional and classical expressions. In this study, the following results were obtained: First, in terms of expression of beauty illustration, the work with art expressions are still poor compared to other fields such as fashion illustration. Therefore, it is necessary to attempt beauty illustration of a new image which expresses artistic emotions. Second, by using an artistic technique called 'paper sculpture', a semi-solid shape has been completed, and a decorative beauty illustration was created. People get new inspiration through beautiful and innocent art pieces, which in turn motivate to create new expression. New art activities which take a human body as an art support beauty activities through picture and more sensitive inspiration. It was attempted to express other emotion and beauty by observing a single piece of work. A new possibility in beauty illustration which is differentiated from other art activities is proposed and its domain is developed.
Purpose - PB products at convenience stores take up about 20% of all products, and strategies for differentiation from other companies and brand image building are very important. This study would investigate the strategy for differentiating PB products and successful brand building strategy, focusing on BGF Retail that is operating 'CU', the leader in the convenience store industry in Korea. Research design, data, and methodology - This study would attempt to make an exploratory approach to PB products limited to those in convenience stores. As a research subject, this study chose BGF Retail, the operator of CU, which is the leader in the convenience store industry in Korea and chose the case study method in order to examine the strategy for differentiating PB products in convenience stores more in depth. For this purpose, this study collected materials such as papers, newspaper articles and various reports on convenience store-related PB products and conducted an in-depth study including more practical contents through an interview with CU workers. Results - CU pursued the diversity of PB products and has had the diversity of products, more than 120 kinds. It founded a product research institute and has been in charge of the differentiation strategy from planning products to launching them. Changing the target layer of consumers to those in middle age of the 40s-50s, it succeeded in the strategy expanding the consumer class. In the long run, despite it changed the name of the company, it has built a successful image, and both revenue and operating profit have continuously grown up. Conclusions - In results, CU has reset the changing main target population, and the product research institute succeeded in the innovation of products, reflecting new trends the customers want. Through this study, the practical implications could be provided for competitors.
The techno fashion presents the new formative beauty of fashion with a stream of light and dynamic phenomenon on human body. Also it opens the futurism arising from the combination of technology with fashion. The purpose of this paper was to investigate the internal trend and external form that techno-fashion aims at, and to analyze the expressive characteristics in design. The results were as follows. ${\cdot}$ The techno fashion created the new formative artifact through the dismantlement and reorganization of form. ${\cdot}$ The techno fashion used the composition of the geometrical abstraction as an expression of beauty symbolizing the modernity. ${\cdot}$ The techno fashion created the diverse colors by using the light along with colors of gold, silver, metal, intense fundamental colors, and artificial rotor. ${\cdot}$ The techno fashion expressed the dynamism, brilliance, youthfulness, futuristic image by using the sense of dazzling brightness by means of metal. ${\cdot}$ The techho fashion along with the development of science and technology made the atmosphere of silhouette of clothes different by expanding the category of materials more widely, together with the possibility of continual emergence of new material. ${\cdot}$ The techno fashion expressed the dynamic movement on clothes and gave the sense of periodical rhythm by the reflective action of light when they were clad. ${\cdot}$ The techno fashion grafted wearable technology into the fashion and made the information instruments recognized as a concept of clothes. ${\cdot}$ The techno fashion pursued the values of not only the beauty of the simple geometrical design, but also the values of functionality and expressed the image of high quality of life through the harmony of technology with human.
